I dont know were to start with this but on Sunday, January 26, 2020 the world lost a living legend by the name of Kobe Bean Bryant. Words cant describe how I felt earlier when I first heard the news. I didnt want to believe it at all, I was praying and hoping that it was all fake. Then Adrian Wojnarowski whos one of the biggest sports reporters dropped his infamous woj bomb...but it was one woj bomb I wish he didnt drop. He confirm that Kobe has passed away in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. Not only that but his daughter GiGi along with Coach Alltobelli, Wife Keri and daughter Alyassa were also part of the Crash😔My whole body was in shock, like it was numb, I felt cold, and it seem like the world just stop for a moment. It was one of those things that you couldnt believe that it actually happened. Until now, I'm still in disbelief with the news. Anyways, I just wanna share the impact Kobe had on me on as a player/fan of the game.

As a fan growing up kobe was my Michael Jordan of my era. He had the moves like MJ, the swag, and that killer instinct when needed. He would never back down from anybody, he didnt care who and how good you were. He went into every game knowing that he was gonna destroy you or whoever was guarding him. Kobe just had that mentality, like he said before "once you smell the blood, you gotta go in for the kill!" Thats were the Mamba mentality takes over, once he gets into that mode its pretty much GG and your best bet is hoping to contain him. Just ask Alvin Gentry and Jalen Rose, they know about it.

He would also destroy you mentally, and take you out your game. If you were weak, best believe he will expose you and you that against you. No matter how good of player you are, once he got in your head. That was it, he already won before the game even started. He would probably dap you up before the game, have a nice conversation with you, and just catch up. Once tip-off starts though thats it, be prepared because it was going to be a long night of buckets and trash talking.

I always knew whenever Kobe was playing, it was must watch Television. Especially the 2009-2010 season were he had like multiple game winners, but the one that stuck to me the most was the one he hit on Wade and the heat! Down two with like 3-4 seconds left, Kobe hit a One foot leaning to the left Dirk type jumper off the backboard to seal the win for the Lakeshow. Kobe was having a bad shooting night too, he went 3-15 I believe (correct me if Im wrong) but that shot was crazy and the reaction from Flash was Priceless.

A other favorite Kobe moment, actually performance of mine would be his game 6 performance against the Suns in the 2010 Western Conference Finals. Shoutouts to my best friend but man Kobe was giving them the business, shot after shot. Not just your average jumpers but hand in the face contested like crazy jumpers, I remember one he hit on Grant Hill. Grant was playing amazing defense, didnt fall for Kobes pump fakes but somehow Kobe still found a way to score and afterwards gave Alvin Gentry a slap on the butt. Mamba was definitely cashing out that game and that performance will always be one of my favorites.

As a student of the game, watching kobe from his afro days to the switch up from 8 to 24 in the 06-07 season. His game transition pretty well as he got older. When he was rocking 8, his game was mostly based off of athleticism and hot/cold streaks when it came to shooting. Now dont get me wrong his jumper was getting there but it wasnt as consistent when he switch to 24. His defense was good, not great yet but good. Imo he was always a solid defender. He did keep AI in check when they met in the finals in 2001, except that game one. Other then the 3 peat he had with Shaq, and arguably the best duo of time. His most memorable moment though with the number 8, would have to be his 81 point performance against Toronto. The second most points in a game in NBA history and to do it at Staples Center, Amazing!

Imo though when Kobe switch to 24, thats when he peaked and was the best version of himself. thats when his game went to another level. He was more sound on offense and better discipline on defense. from his off season workouts with Hakeem to improve his footwork to endless sideline to sideline shuffles to improve his defense and his fadeway was unguardable. All he needed was a little bit of room to get it off, and no matter how good of a contest you got. if you didnt block it that was it, It was going in. His offense was so smooth and the amount of detail he put into every move was a beautiful thing to watch. Equivalent to the sweet science of boxing! Such a gifted player on both sides of the ball, he was such an enjoyment to watch.

Another thing that is lowkey slept on with Kobe was his defense. We all knew how great of a scorer he was, and didnt pay that much attention to his defense. Honestly, he is probably one of the best on ball defenders of all time. He would fight through screens, switch on everything, and always wanted to guard the teams best player and that right there shows how much he cares about defense. Not only hes clamping up your teams best player but hes also giving you buckets on the other end! He always wanted a challenge and never back down from one.

Lastly before I wrap this up, his work ethic was undeniable. He was never satisfied with himself, he would always work on something until he perfected it. No matter how small or big the challenge was, he was gonna do it and do it right too! The mamba hated failing, his work ethic was shown throughout the years and his game spoke for itself. He earned everything, nothing was giving and unfortunately thats rare to see nowadays.

The game will truely miss you Kobe😔Thank you for all the memories you shared with us, everything you taught us, all your accomplishments on and off the court will always be remembered, but most importantly Thank you for everything you have done for the game. The impact you made on everybody! From all the athletes, celebrities, fans, and people who dont follow the sport like that. They all showing you love, that right there, the impact you made on us is remarkable. A Dad, Husband, Role Model, Friend, and a Legend gone way too soon! #1 Who We Are 12x22

For me, this was as close to perfect as an episode can be!! Both Sam girls and Dean girls should have enjoyed this, and it was bibro Heaven!! Hellers probably still talk about it as the worst episode ever or something hehe. For starters, we have the boys trapped with Toni Bevell in the bunker. Locked in, no electricity, water, and the air is being pumped out, so of course theres pending doom. After trying to reset the machinery with a spell that failed, the bros try bashing down a wall. This was an awesome scene!! Whats not to love about Sam and Dean in single layers, being all strong and macho?? Exhausted, they sit together, dirty, sweaty, and tired. What an absolute beautiful sight!! When the boys sit together talking, you always have my full attention. Theyre feeling a little hopeless. This really could be the end. Sam opens up, maybe he feels more than a little guilty that things got to this point. Of course, its not his fault really, he didnt know the BMOL were brain washing mom, or had plans to exterminate the American Hunters, he just wanted to help make the world a better place. Sam gives a confession, that once he was in, he just followed, because it was easier than leading. Dean nods in agreement. They both probably liked just being told where to go and what to kill much more than telling others what to do. So now the boys think theyve lost, and its not the “blaze of glory” theyve always imagined... until.... THE GRENADE LAUNCHER!!! Toni thinks the boys are lunatics, and well... they are :D Big Beautiful and Dumb!! They couldnt care less that the whole building might fall on their heads, If they go out, theyre going out with a bang, and on their own terms!! The exchange of looks Sam and Dean gave each other was nothing less than priceless. The grenade explodes, Sam instantly goes looking for Dean. Theres a big hole in the wall,, and no Dean, so he must have gotten out!! But oh shit, the hole collapses!! Sam goes into instant panic mode!! DEAN??? DEAN!!???? He can barely see, the air is thin, and he collapses on all 4s as he sucks all the oxygen thats left by hyperventilating. Just then the door opens and Dean walks in with a bloody busted leg and Sams face lights up. Dean greets him with “Hey Lunatic”” and all order in Sam’s life is restored. We fast forward to Jody’s house where Mary is tied up for attacking Jody. Sam calls other hunters to come help them take out the Brits. Atypical of Sam, he has a pretty long speech, but, he finally gets a good tag line. For years, all we had were things like “I lost my shoe” or “Im a whole new level of freak” but now we have “I want you to follow me” it hits me in the feels when I hear him say this. He’s come so far and grown so much in the last 12 yrs, that he can say these words in confidence. Dean was so proud! This lead to one of my favorite brohugs, that tied in a little bit with my 2nd fav episode, Swan Song (which Ill talk about tomorrow) In Swan Song, Dean was letting Sam go to do his quest on his own. Sam told him “If I do this, and triple lindy into that cage, you know Im not coming back” and Dean says “I know” but this time, Dean is sending Sam off on his quest and hugs him, and tells him “You come back” and Sam says “Promise” (ugggh my heart) seal that with a Winchester “I love you” which was “Bitch” “Jerk” and just the pause and the sweet grin on Sams face when Dean said it, you knew he knew Dean just told him he loves him <3 So Sam goes off.... meanwhile, Dean is now trying to talk to mom while in her head. My heart was flipping seeing chubby happy baby Sam, cooing and playing with his blanket. When Dean goes over to see him, he just seemed so happy to show big grown up Dean his blanket!! The only thing that would have made me feelier, is if Dean picked baby Sam up and cuddled him, and maybe kissed his head (but then I woulda just died and couldnt write this so...)

Sams battle with the brits, was a little lack luster, but its ok because Dean’s scene was awesome. He’s laying it out to Mom, this is whats what.... and instead of making it all about him, he made it about Sam. Basically “you left me with a responsibility I couldnt handle and look what it did to Sam???” I was full on sobbing when he told Mom that Sam was posessed by Lucifer, Tortured in Hell and lost his soul. Some of you got angry that Sam wasnt the one to tell her, but hello... this is Sam we’re talking about. Its never his thing to lay his load on someone else. Sometimes, maybe a little with Dean, but he just wouldnt give all this to his mother. But Dean would for him. She needs to know and Sam wont tell her, so Dean will. He tells Mary he hates her... he says it more than once. I feel it, it comes from his gut. Not just a knee jjerk reaction to anger. He IS feeling this. And Dean Winchester has the most open, and honest moment hes had in a long time, maybe in the whole series “I hate you.... and I love you. I cant.. I cant help it... youre my mom” and without a word of lie, Im crying as I write this. I may be 100% in love with Sam, but Dean is my buddy. Hes messed up and too violent sometimes, but he is so full of love it hurts me, and him too aparently. I know he and Sam have felt exactly this for each other a number of times. It reminds me of what Jared said about Sam and Dean at SDCC2017 “Sam and Dean love each other as much as its possible for two people to love each other... even when sometimes they hate each other a little”:True love is huge and confusing and uncontrolable, and everyone does stupid stuff when they love big. If youre one of those people waiting for and expecting a love that wont ever hurt like hell, you wont ever really experience love. *ehem* where was I? Oh yes.... ok so, Where Sam and Dean both are at this point, is kind of a role reversal, Sam is doing the fighting and Dean is doing the curing. And this is really cool IMO. And I dont know if youve noticed, but they both had to stop being “them” for a second, and be the other instead. Dean has to get mom out of her head, Sam has to finish off the Brits in the US. if Sam were standing were Dean is right now, what would he do? He would forgive mom, and this is what Dean needs to do. If Dean were standing where Sam is, what would he do? He would trust himself, Sam and his friends, and tell the Brits to fuck off... and this is what Sam did. Sam has issues with second guessing and not trusting his own instincts... but this time he becomes Dean and just says “pass” shoots the computer and Jody kills Hess. (Sam shoulda but oh well) Back at the Bunker, Toni is dead YAAAY and now the fight with Ketch, and mom wakes up and kills him (ish) big win for the Winchesters!! But then comes maybe my favorite moment ever. Dean and Mom are talking, and Dean tells her theyre gonna start over and do it right. Mom is worried, “What about Sam? Im scared.... what if he cant forgive me” Sam walks in, the man that just took out the big bad BMOL is so soft, and so sad “Mom... you dont have to be scared of me” OMG FUCKING KILL ME!!! Dont be scared of this huge hulk of a man that kills bad guys and monsters every day and scares the hell out of demons... dont be scared Mom because he loves you. Your deal made his life a living hell, but he forgave you a long time ago. You didnt know what would happen, and hes done the same thing himself. He knows as well as anyone what stupid things we might do for love. Mom hugs Sam and Sam just looks like the biggest teddybear ever. And if thats not enough, Dean comes in “Im glad youre back man” and hugs him too. Sams face while being wrapped in all this love. All for him!! The whole damn series could have ended there and Id be happy!! This is why Who We Are is my favorite episode ever!!

High power usage

Good morning everyone, My grammar sucks and I’m on mobile

So, I’m in central Florida. And my power bill has gone from 344$ to 527$ Since I moved in March 2021 344$is high already IMO But I thought it was normal (I’ve always lived in 1000sqft apartments until now, and my bill was always around 100$)

So I though a bigger 2000sq home with a pool pump running 12 hours a day and the AC at 70, I thought it was normal.

We started driving less, Ac started being at 75, I sealed all windows with weathering strip. I turned the pool pump down to 6 hours

And my bill just kept going up. 344, 350,354,385,388 and now 527$ 😭

Teco thought my central AC (heritage 12 from 200 4ton) is the problem. So while solar is going to get installed. A new AC will as well. It’s going to be. 20.16kw system and x3 enphase encharge 10 for back up.

Here’s my thing though. I started watching the meter more the last 12ish hours because I’m getting really fed up with the high usage. Last night my meter read 27811kwh And This morning it read 27829 “Ac was set to auto at 70 and our EV car was charging)

18kwh over night okay not bad I guess? Lol

So, this morning the meter at 27829 was before I left to drop off my wife at work at 0830 I come back at around 10am and my meter reads 27906 How the heck did my house use 77kwh In Less than 2 hours?????

I turned the Pool pump off, I turned the central AC off, and all lights off Before leaving

I was on Reddit last night a few hours and people’s daily kwh usage is anywhere from 20kwh to 54wkh with bigger homes.

My average-daily usage this month according teco was 131 kwh

Is there a chance that that my meter is broken? I’ve checked the water heater it seems to be running right. But I’m no Expert And my water bill always between 12-18$ I’m just so confused and kinda mad lol

I’ve called teco and they’re going to have an inspector come out to my house in 1-2 business days.

But does anyone else have some suggestions?

I’m lost because whatever is using all that power isn’t me and I might have just bought too big of a solar system!!!!

Edit: lll make sure to update everyone after the solar install or after the electrician comes out next week lol

(http://www.MaritimeCyprus.com) Loading and discharging ballast water is an essential part of a ship’s operation, with large ships requiring many thousands of tonnes of water to maintain their stability, draft and manoeuvrability. By the very nature of the operation, this ballast water contains hundreds of micro and macroscopic species that will be carried to new destinations by the ship. Some of these species will not survive the journey; however, the species that do survive may establish themselves in a new environment if the biological and physical conditions are favourable. Such non-native species may cause serious ecological, economic and public health impacts, particularly when they become invasive.

In response to this, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) through its Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC), developed the “International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships’ Ballast Water and Sediments” which was adopted at a Diplomatic Conference during 2004.

Further background information and links to the Guidelines that have been developed to support the Convention are available from the IMO website, including a document detailing available ballast water management guidance and a list of approved ballast water treatment systems. This information can be found on the IMO website

Control and management of ships’ ballast water and sediments

The Ballast Water Management (BWM) Convention entered into force internationally on 8th September 2017. The Convention applies to all vessels that operate in the waters of more than one Party to the Convention (internationally operating vessels). The Convention applies to all vessels, regardless of size/tonnage, that are entitled to fly the Flag of a Party to the Convention.

The Convention does not apply to:

Ships not constructed/designed to carry ballast water;

Ships that only operate in the waters of a single Party to the Convention (Domestically operating vessels);

Ships operating in the waters of a single Party and on the High Seas;

Warships, naval auxiliary or ships owned or operated by a State and used only on Government non-commercial service; and

Permanent ballast water in sealed tanks on ships that is not subject to discharge.

The Convention defines ship as a vessel of any type whatsoever operating in the aquatic environment and includes submersibles, floating craft, floating platforms, Floating Storage Units (FSU’s) and Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessels (FPSO’s). Floating craft encompasses a wide variety of vessels that operate in the marine environment and use ballast water for stability, heeling or operating purposes and includes, but is not limited to, fishing vessels, large yachts, dumb barges etc.

Ballast water management convention requirements

Ships subject to the Convention requirements will be obliged to conduct ballast water management in accordance with the provisions within the Convention, as outlined below.

Ballast water management plan

Ships shall carry and implement a Ballast Water Management Plan that has been approved by the Administration. The plan must include details of the safety procedures for the ship and crew and provide a detailed description of the actions to be taken to implement the ballast water management requirements. Further information is provided in IMO Guideline G4.

Ballast water record books

Ships shall carry a Ballast Water Record Book, which must be completed after each ballast water operation. The form of the Ballast Water Record Book should emulate that contained in Appendix II of the Convention.

Ballast water management standards

The Convention, as amended, introduces the phased implementation of two ballast water standards:

D1 – Ballast Water Exchange Standard; and

D2 – Ballast Water Performance Standard.

Currently, any ballast water discharged from a ship shall be required to meet either the D-1 or D-2 standard until such time as the ship is required to implement the D-2 standard. Ships currently meeting the D-2 standard (usually through the use of a ballast water treatment system), can opt to meet D-1, but it is recommended that any fitted equipment is operated. The Conventions implementation schedule means that the use of ballast water exchange, which meets the D1 standard, as a management method will be replaced by a requirement for ballast water to meet the D2 discharge performance standard (usually through the use of a ballast water treatment system).

Sediment management for ships

All ships shall remove and dispose of sediments from spaces designed to carry ballast water in accordance with the ship’s Ballast Water Management Plan.

Duties of officers and crew

Officers and crew shall be familiar with their duties with respect to the implementation of the ship’s Ballast Water Management Plan.

Exceptions

The requirement to meet the ballast water management standards shall not apply to:

the uptake and discharge of ballast water necessary for ensuring the safety of the ship in emergency situations;

the accidental discharge or ingress of ballast water as a result of damage to the ship or its equipment;

the uptake or discharge of ballast water for the purpose of avoiding or minimising pollution incidents from the ship;

the uptake and subsequent discharge on the high seas of the same ballast water; or

the discharge of ballast water from a ship at the same location where the whole of the ballast water originated, provided no mixing of unmanaged ballast water from other areas has occurred. If mixing occurs, the ballast water is subject to management in accordance with the Convention.

Exemptions

Exemptions to the requirement to meet the management standard may be granted in specific circumstances. Exemptions may only be granted to a ship or ships on a voyage(s) between specified locations, ships which operate within a defined area or to a ship that operates exclusively between specified locations. An exemption can be effective for no longer than 5 years. The exemption can only be granted if ballast water is not mixed, other than in the locations specified on the exemption, and must be based on a detailed risk assessment taking into consideration the IMO Guidelines (Guideline G7).

Equivalent compliance

Vessels used solely for recreation or competition or crafts used primarily for search and rescue, that are less than 50m in overall length and have a maximum ballast capacity of 8m3 may apply to their Administration for equivalent compliance. The decision to grant equivalent compliance will be determined based on the guidance developed by the IMO, Guidelines for ballast water management equivalent compliance (G3). There is no other equivalent compliance available under the Convention. Any alternative methods of meeting the discharge requirements of the Convention are known as ‘Other Methods’.

Survey and certification of ships

Ships of 400 gross tonnage and above shall be subject to a survey and certification regime as stipulated within the Convention. Vessels under this threshold are still required to meet the requirements of the Convention. Administrations are required to establish appropriate measures to ensure compliance by vessels of less than 400gt.

Ballast water management standards

The Convention requires that ballast water is managed to meet the standards set and allows for the phased introduction of two standards as detailed under Regulations D1 and D2. D1 details requirements relating to ballast water exchange and D2 details allowable limits for organisms within the ballast water discharge. The Convention allows for D1 to be used until such time as D2 is required but does not prevent ships operating to the D2 standard ahead of schedule.

D1 – Ballast water exchange (BWE)

The standard set by the Convention states that ships undertaking BWE shall do so with an efficiency of at least 95% volumetric exchange of ballast water. For ships exchanging the ballast water by the pumping-through method, pumping through three times the volume of each ballast tank will be considered equivalent to meeting the 95% standard.

Ships undertaking ballast water exchange should conduct the operation at least 200 nautical miles from the nearest land and in water at least 200 meters deep; or in cases where the ship is unable to conduct ballast water exchange in accordance with the above, as far from the nearest land as possible, and in all cases at least 50 nautical miles from the nearest land and in water at least 200 meters deep.

In sea areas where the minimum distance and depth criteria cannot be met, the Parties to the Convention have the ability, within their waters, to designate BWE areas. Areas designated by a Party should be used in compliance with the terms of use stipulated by the Administration(s) responsible for the designation. Vessels may be required to deviate or delay their voyage in order to use the designated BWE area.

Owners are urged to contact relevant port State Administrations for confirmation of BWE requirements within local waters.

D2 – Ballast water performance standard

D2 stipulates the acceptable level of organisms that may be found within discharged ballast water. The D2 Standard specifies that treated and discharged ballast water must have:

fewer than ten viable organisms greater than or equal to 50 micrometers in minimum dimension per cubic metre;

fewer than ten viable organisms less than 50 micrometres in minimum dimension and greater than or equal to 10 micrometers in minimum dimension per millilitre.

In addition, a ballast water discharge of indicator microbes, as a health standard, shall not exceed the following specified concentrations:

Toxicogenic Vibrio cholerae (O1 and O139) with less than one colony-forming unit (cfu) per 100 millilitres or less than 1 cfu per 1 gram (wet weight) zooplankton samples;

Escherichia coli less than 250 cfu per 100 millilitres;

Intestinal Enterococci less than 100 cfu per 100 millilitres

Ballast water treatment equipment is developed, and type approved on the basis of the equipment’s ability to treat the ballast water to the required standard. Although not the only way to meet the D2 standard, the installation of an appropriately type approved ballast water treatment system will be the most common method used.

Other methods of ballast water management

Other methods may be accepted as alternatives to either D1 or D2 provided the methods ensure at least the same level of protection to the environment, human health, property or resources and are approved in principle by the IMO.

Ballast water management implementation schedule

The requirement to meet either D1 or D2 standards does not apply to ships that discharge ballast water to a reception facility that has been designed taking into consideration Guideline G5: Guidelines for ballast water reception facilities. Ships will be required to meet either the D1 or D2 standard until such time as required to meet D2. The table below outlines the implementation dates for the D2 standard.

Ballast water management requirements in specific areas

In addition to the IMO’s Ballast Water Management Convention, specific areas of the oceans have additional requirements for ballast water control, which you must adhere to.

United States of America

Ships trading in the US should be aware that ballast water management requirements within US waters differ from that outlined in the BWM Convention. Operators are advised to contact the relevant authority for further information.

Antarctic waters

There are specific requirements for the uptake or discharge of ballast water in Arctic or Antarctic waters. You must follow these unless the safety of the ship is jeopardised by a ballast exchange, or where it is necessary for saving life at sea.

A ballast water management plan is to be prepared for vessels entering Antarctic waters, taking into account problems of ballast water exchange in Antarctic conditions. Your vessels should keep a record of ballast water operations.

Ballast water should first be exchanged before arrival in Antarctic waters or at least 50 nautical miles from the nearest land in waters at least 200 metres deep. Similarly, ballast water taken on in Antarctic waters should be exchanged north of the Antarctic Polar Frontal Zone, and at least 200 nautical miles from the nearest land in water at least 200 metres deep.

The release of sediments during the cleaning of ballast tanks should not take place in Antarctic waters. Vessels that have spent significant time in the Arctic should discharge and clean tanks before entering Antarctic waters. If this is not possible, sediment accumulation in ballast tanks should be monitored and sediment disposed of in accordance with the ship’s ballast water management plan.

everything i have got to say about episode two

aquaria made me laugh so hard during the mini challenge!! but i wasn’t impressed by her characterization in pharmarusical. i literally thought aquaria was blair when she was acting as the old lady, and if she hadn’t mentioned the concept of an old lady transforming into a millennial earlier in the episode, i would not have gotten that at all. the characterization was faulty to me, but her dancing was flawless and it was fun watching her. and her runway look was gorgeous and just very aesthetically pleasing. that mint ostrich feather boa/coat thing and black mesh rhinestoned see-through dress looked so perfect on her. the giant septums, long leather gloves, green antennas, and her unpadded chest peeking out made it so good. her description of it as “androgynous yet feminine” perfectly captures it. i only wish that her green glittered heel was the same shade of green as her antennas and boa

asia completely deserved her mini challenge win. like aquaria, she had me laughing out loud. asia’s runway was very poised, the bright pink popped gorgeously against her skin, and it was very pageant, which i really appreciated because pageant drag is being represented better and better with each season, and i think asia really showed out in the “very best drag” runway! with looks like this, i see her winning the season, and being the first pageant queen to do so! and that wig! it was so voluminous and perfectly styled. although, i am struggling to remember her performance in pharmarusical for some reason

blair st clair hardly moving in the mini challenge and having jason carry her around 🤭😝and when she was fumbling around trying to learn the choreography i was seriously worried for her but she surprised me again this week! i definitely underestimated her pre-season and i am eager to see what she does next week and in snatch game. i def have my eye on blair now. her performance as the fairy god mother in pharmarusical was good, and again, i’m impressed that she was able to make so much progress from rehearsal to the performance! she represented indianapolis beautifully in that eggplant purple gown, and it definitely screamed “best drag” to me. when she walked out, the first word that came to mind for me was “regal”

dusty could have done more with her part in the main challenge in my opinion. throughout the whole thing, i was waiting for her to give just a little bit more! her black and white blazer look was beautiful to me. it was a great combination of edge and glamour. and those claws! 😭😭i loved dusty’s rhinestoned black stiletto nails so much. topped with a big blonde teased wig and deciding not to do dots (except for a little around the eye) this week really was a paying decision!! and i liked the way she did her eyebrows, too. im very happy for her. i only wish that her fishnets weren’t ripped

eureka, ohhhh eureka. she missed the words over and over again! she seemed pretty nervous. her neon pink/metallic blue sequins and see-through rhinestoned catsuit was pretty underwhelming. i’m sure it was expensive, though, so maybe that’s why she chose it to be representative of her “very best drag”? i found her mini challenge performance, main challenge performance, and runway all to be incredibly lacking in passion, creativity, determination, and that captivating quality that “drag superstars” should have! to me, she was deserving of being placed in the bottom this week. i’m not even sure what her storyline was supposed to be. she’s clearly going through something emotionally complex but we still don’t know why or what her hold is, which makes it hard to sympathize with her and it also makes her storyline un-engaging, which isn’t exactly her fault, but she does need to step her drag up because at this point she isn’t keeping up with the other queens

“kalorie is known for her ass shaking abilities” i have to laugh. like eureka, she was deserving of being in the bottom. hearing about how badly she was bullied was really sad for me, i just wanted to jump through my TV screen and give her a big hug and hold her cheeks between my palms. unfortunately though, that was her most memorable moment this episode. i’m a little confused about why she wore that basic dark rhinestoned bodysuit in a “very best drag” category when each of the garments she showed in whatcha packin were beautiful and, imo, would have served her better in this challenge.

kameron can perform!!!! she was entertaining in the mini challenge! i think kameron had a good shot at winning this week. she’s shown that she’s more than just a muscle queen; she fought for the eyes to be on her in pharmarusical, and i loved the part where she fell to the floor with one leg stuck up in the air with those big eyes! the whole thing was so much fun to watch, but her runway was somehow even better! that colorful butterfly look with the gentle hued tulle open skirt and the nude illusion and pink contour really really feminized her and i thought it was EXCELLENT from head to toe! her waist was snatched and she looked so feminine. the details of her look perfected it, with a few butterflies in her wig and skirt train, the silver dangly earrings, and a nice nude pump to seal it all together. i really like kameron and i can’t WAIT to see what she does in next week’s comedy challenge

mayhem miller’s icy blue gown was nearly a toot for me, but the length was a little off, and i thought her look last week was significantly better than this week’s “best drag.” in her solo at the end of pharmarusical, i think she could have commanded more attention to her star before the other queens came out for the finale. she kind of got enveloped in it all. this wasn’t mayhem’s best week, but none of what she did was bad. it was just very safe. nothing she did really WOWed me this time

miz cracker did well! i feel like she was hardly in this episode, though. she was fun in the mini challenge with her lil cartwheel, and i think she did the best job getting into drag with only 20 minutes. she took direction well from alyssa. her short shiny golden geometric dress was very distinctly her; if i saw it (and her big rectangular wig) on a mannequin, i would definitely know it belonged to miz cracker because she’s developed such a crafty yet cohesive style. it looked like it could belong in a star wars-inspired high fashion runway show, maybe alexander mcqueen or mugler, even.

monique! in my opinion, it was ridiculous that ross didn’t remember her in pharmarusical because she was literally front and center in the opening number and was turning it out with every part of her face engaged in the performance at every second even though the cameras kept cutting away from her! 😣☹️i thought she shined the brightest out of all the queens on both teams. she livened things up quite a bit! i enjoyed monique’s runway, even though i think she could have chosen something else to better represent her “very best drag.” still, the royal blue with the eyeballs on top of her head read well and it was clear that she was doing a cookie monster thing, but it still had MONIQUE written all over it. those oversized frilly sleeves and fringed body were nice and im happy she used that long platinum blond side-swept ponytail wig 😍the reveal took her runway to the next level, and it made her stand out from the other queens. that studded bodysuit with the mouth and hands covering the eyes on her breasts paired with the eyes on top of her head was entirely adorable. she was able to show us who she is in this runway; her style is quirky but she’s so multifaceted, too! monique’s makeup was neat and creative, i actually thought her makeup was the best out of everyone’s this week. she was given zero accolades for all the hard work she put in this week, and that was disappointing for me. there is no way i would have placed monique in the bottom 3 at all.

monet’s red glittery jumpsuit was the best runway for me. she looked absolutely stunning, and she delivered in the main challenge, as well! i unfortunately don’t have a lot to say about monet this week except that i loved her runway so much and want a suit like that for myself. she looked glamorous and beautiful.

the vixen...i’m a vixen stan but i was shocked when she won the mini challenge, and surprised again when she won the main challenge. she did notably well in both, but there were others who outperformed her in both, too. nonetheless, i’m proud of her for snagging a double win this episode! her tiny red heat meister runway look was cute, but it was not her best drag in my opinion. i’ve seen her in better drag. did she look super cute though? hell yes. and out of her group, i think her pharmarusical performance was the best! i don’t want to say she carried her team because it was definitely a group effort, but i think she did exceptionally well in the lip sync in a way that not everyone did. this challenge was right up her alley as a lip sync assassin and high energy dancer. even though it worked out well this week, im worried about her not being a good team player and that coming up later on in the season!!

yuhua was so good in the mini challenge! she is so unexpectedly witty and her personality just shines through everything she does! i think she should have won the mini challenge alongside asia. i enjoyed her in the main challenge and she reminded me a bit of edna from the incredibles lol! i thought her “very best drag” runway look was very weak, though, and none of it seemed to match. i didn’t like the thick dark fishnets, the deep blue fabric seemed to swallow her up, and the big black afro didn’t complement her look, either. if i were rupaul, yuhua would have taken monique’s place in the bottom 3.
