I am very tired :) But I am doing well as currently my biggest source of entertainment is @tellywoodtrash‘s live-blogging of IMMJ 2. I have never been more in touch with my crack self than now. Someone give a Noble entertainment prize to TT for making things SO MUCH BETTER.

My fall stories

I seem to be amazing on crooked surfaces, and terrible on flat! Once I didn’t even fall, but it was a terrible slip. It was rainy so the floor of the bus was wet. My foot slipped before I could sit on my seat and my shin directly hit the metal seat bar in front of me. The pain was TERRIBLE. I blacked out for half a sec. Thought I’d immediately puke from the pain. Had a chocolate, popped it in my mouth, and somehow felt... better?

Also once I slipped and landed perfectly on my butt, so it looked like I was sitting on the sidewalk XD

Also...

- fell in front of oncoming traffic

- fell from stairs at least 10 times

- slipped on ice and fell twice

- fell on my way to an Uber, broke my glasses, nearly blacked out and puked from the pain

- fell face first in university while running to my class

- fell thrice from trying to ride a cycle

- fell on rocky desert while trying to race my cousin. Ouch.

- had a friend stop by fall once but he accidentally had grabbed my arm so hard that I still got the pain I would’ve got if I fell down.

The virus simply does not choose. It connected us in a way, it showed us that we should all stick together. During this chaos, while many of us panicked, it showed us the weight of humanity. It reminded us who we are. Maybe the world will finally change, 2020 changed everything around me and my thoughts too.   Opo Kek Blog – Menginap di sebuah penginapan khas pedesaan merupakan hal menarik bagi saya pribadi. Walaupun saya tinggal di Desa, namun saya yakin, setiap desa memiliki budaya dan kebiasaan yang berbeda pula. Apalagi Desa Wisata, pastinya memiliki hal-hal yang menarik untuk di rasakan. Homestay menjadi pilihan terbaik untuk merasakan ke khasan dari sebuah Desa Wisata. Salah satunya yang pernah saya coba adalah Homestay Bu Rini di Desa Wisata Bejalen, Ambarawa.

Bejalen merupakan salah satu Desa Wisata tematik yang menarik untuk dikunjungi. Selain itu, Desa ini juga instagramable untuk berswafoto. Lokasinya sangat mudah di jangkau. Lebih tepatnya berada di jalan lingkar Ambarawa – Salatiga yang ramah bagi pengendara. Jadi, semakin memudahkan siapapun untuk menuju ke desa tersebut.

  Setahun yang lalu saya dan rombongan dari Generasi Pesona Indonesia (GenPI) Jateng dan IMMJ (Ikatan Mas dan Mbak Jateng) berkesempatan untuk berkunjung ke desa yang memiliki banyak spot menarik ini.

Desa Wisata Bejalen memang memiliki banyak fasilitas wisata yang menarik untuk di nikmati. Rasanya tak cukup jika ingin menikmati semua fasilitas yang ada di Desa Wisata ini hanya dalam waktu sehari saja. Maka dari itu, untuk menikmati semua  fasilitas wisata yang ada di sini, kami butuh singgah beberapa hari. Akhirnya, kami semua menginap untuk tiga hari ke depan.

Desa Wisata Bejalen memiliki beberapa homestay yang sudah di sediakan oleh Pokdarwis setempat. Usut punya usut, Desa Wisata Bejalen ini memang sudah cukup lama disiapkan oleh warga setempat untuk dijadikan sebagai Desa Wisata. Mereka rela berjuang menjadikan desa yang tadinya biasa saja menjadi ramai pengunjung.

Desa Wisata Bejalen juga memiliki homestay yang cukup nyaman sebagai rumah singgah untuk tinggal beberapa hari di sini. Kebetulan waktu itu saya dan beberapa teman mendapatkan tempat menginap di Homestay Bu Rini. Sedangkan teman-teman yang lain ditempatkan di tiga homestay lain yang ada di Desa Wisata Bejalen ini.

Kesan pertama sesampainya di Homestay Bu Rini adalah klasik. Rasanya bakalan betah tinggal beberapa hari di sini. Teman-teman yang lainpun antusias dengan homestay ini. Dan inilah penjabaran saya tentang Homestay Bu Rini.

Homestay Bu Rini memilki 3 kamar, 1 Ruang Tamu, dan 1 ruang tengah yang bisa dipakai untuk kumpul-kumpul bareng teman satu homestay. Homestay Bu Rini juga memiliki 1 kamar mandi dalam dan 1 kamar mandi luar yang gabung dengan rumah yang ditempati oleh Bu Rini.

Tampak luar, homestay Bu Rini mirip dengan rumah adat Betawi. Hal ini terlihat dari ornamen-ornamen pada homestay ini sendiri. Jika dilihat dari bangunannya, kebanyakan di dominasi kayu jati yang dicat menggunakan plitur. Hanya dinding bagian samping dan belakang saja yang menggunakan bata merah. Itupun dibuat alami, sehingga menambah kesan klasik pada homestay ini.

Furnture di Homestay Bu Rini kebanyakan menggunakan kayu jati. Kursi ruang tamu yang sangat klasik dengan ornamen ukiran menambah kekhasan dari homestay ini. Tak hanya kursi yang memakai ukiran, sekat antara ruang tengah dan ruang tamu pun menggunakan kayu jati yang diukir serta ditambah dengan aksen batik. Hal ini meambah kesan klasik pada Homestay ini.

  Fasilitas

Untuk fasilitas kamar, tidak tersedia kipas angin maupun apalagi air conditioner. Hembusan angin dari jendela kamar dan sela-sela ventilasi cukup membuat ruangan dan kamar di Homestay ini adem.

Di homestay ini juga terdapat stop kontak di setiap kamar, jadi mempermudah kami semua yang menginap di homestay ini untuk lebih fleksibel menambah daya gawai. Sedangkan kamar mandi, sudah menggunakan toilet duduk dan shower dan cukup besar.

Kuliner

Bu Rini sebagai pemilik homestay ini memberikan pelayanan terbaiknya untuk urusan kuliner. Makanan yang disajikan selama kami di sana adalah menu-menu khas desa. Kami semua menikmati dan melahap habis setiap kali makanan sudah tersaji di meja makan. Menu yang disajikan pun berbeda-beda stiap waktunya.

Salah satu menu favorit saya dan teman-teman satu team adalah oseng keong sawah dan daun pepaya. Olahan masakan daun pepaya yang biasanya pahit, di masak sedemkian rupa sehingga rasa pahit itu hilang dan saat dimakan benar-benar enak banget. Untuk menu makan siang, disediakan sayur bening dan lauk pauk hasil budidaya ikan dari Rawa Pening. Jadi, homestay ini menyediakan kuliner khas dari Desa Wisata Bejalen yang mana olahannya di ambil dari produk Desa Wisata Bejalen itu sendiri. Sayang sekali, waktu itu tak sempat foto kulinernya, saking enaknya jadi langsung dilahap habis. hehehe

Homestay Bu Rini di kelilingi rimbunnya pepohonan. Nuansa pedesaan yang sangat terasa kental dan tidak bising seperti rutinitas di kota besar, membuat kami betah tinggal di Homestay ini. Bahkan, ketika kami checkout dari homestay ini, rasanya enggan. Dan kami masih ingin berlama-lama di sini. Sayang, tujuan kami ke sana hanya untuk menginap 2 malam saja. Mungkin akan disambung lain waktu.
