🌗 fluff or angst? angst, 100%. causing characters severe emotional pain brings me so much joy, i can’t even put it in words. (also, so many aus where beloved characters die. so many.) 🧑 favorite character to write? okay, this is a hard one. i like writing most characters for a variety of reasons, but at the moment i’d say elias bouchard (tma), martin blackwood (tma) and kaz brekker (grishaverse). and yes, in that order. 💕 favorite ship to write? a word of warning: only one of the following ships is canonical. i am a madman who ships everyone with everyone else, but somehow it’s always gay. carry on. - martin blackwood x jonathan sims (tma | shipname: jonmartin) - kaz brekker x jesper fahey (grishaverse | shipname: jazhands) - henry hidgens x jonathan sims (tgwdlm/tma | shipname: smidgens) - henry hidgens x severus snape (tgwdlm/hp | shipname: heneverus) 📚 favorite fandom for write for? at the moment, either tma or the grishaverse, but i also write some gotham fanfic. 🍑 do you/would you write smut? so, this is a bit of a complicated one. no, i do not currently write smut. yes, i have previously written smut. no, i wouldn’t be morally opposed to doing it again. but my brain just won’t let me write any smut. gory and detailed injuries? all the time. tragic character death? no problem. one single ounce of smut? nope, not happening. 🥰 fave fic you’ve written?  i don’t usually pick favourites, but it’s a tie between ‘smidgens but jon has been shot and is slowly dying in henry’s arms’ and ‘jonmartin but add some bad dreams and inexplicable bruises’. 🏆fic you’re most proud of? i have a terrible opinion of basically everything i write. so no, i’m not proud of any of it. (but since i trust my friend’s opinion of how good my writing is, i’m going to say either ‘angry tim and lonely martin have a bad argument’ or ‘smidgens extended tragic death scene’.) 💎 fave trope to write? enemies to lovers; character a pines for character b but character b is utterly oblivious; that one couple that keeps seperating over the stupidest shit and getting back together again. 🌍fave type of au to write? tragic character death, 1000%. either one half of a ship is dying in the other half’s arms, or i kill off the fandom’s most beloved character. (either way, writing this shit emotionally wrecks me.) 🍄how do you get yourself in the mood to write? i am always in the mood to write. in all seriousness, i can usually just sit down and write, if i have an idea i want to flesh out. listening to music definitely helps, and i have one playlist specifically dedicated to a couple of characters + their angst that i listen to a lot. 💡what inspires your fic ideas? if i talk to you at all on a regular basis, there’s a pretty high chance that i’m mining our conversations for writing ideas. sometimes a random quote will hit me just right and i’ll have to go jot it down, but about half the time a cute little lightbulb appears above my head and i go ‘holy shit, that’s a terrible idea, i need to write it immediately’. the other half of the time, i go searching for writing prompts. (and if i talk to you frequently, you know who you are, i’ve probably begged you for writing prompts at least once.) 🕶canonverse or au? oh god, uhhhh... depends on the fandom??? for example, i’d say canonverse for tma, because it’s very good on its own. (not to say that i haven’t written several tma aus, because of course i have). but i’d say au for the grishaverse, because i do not support this one ship between two of my favourite characters. (for the folks out there who know the grishaverse, yes. i’m talking about kanej, and i hate it. their platonic dynamic is unmatched, but romantically, they’re incompatible due in no small part to kaz being gay/homoromantic asexual.)  📒any fics planned? loads. i don’t want to give anything away, but i will say that i’m planning a piece of shippy lonelyeyes fic at the moment. aside from that, i shan’t say a word. (except for ‘jazhands’. i will say that.) 🎤fave line in a fic you wrote? this is so hard!! [proceeds to think for three minutes] - "Tim, I told you to MOVE the table. Not dismantle it!" 🎁 have a quote from a WIP? yes,,, but it has spoilers! and i don’t want to! -------------------------------- okay, wow. that took longer than i expected but at the same time it was really satisfying. i really hope the writers of fanfic among you reblog this and fill it out!
