Imma be real tho I suckkkk at explaining stuff when not given a specific topic/starting point maybe I’ll come back to this with a reblog of more proper lore dump esp bc it’s late rn but for now I’ll give you the basicccc run down

basically time themed magical girl/superhero series in which the god of time, Father Time, tasks the kids (who have a destiny thing going on here) to help him with sealing up rifts in time space after the space time continuum/multiverse or whatever you wanna call it starts collapsing in on itself, meaning the longer this goes on the bigger the rips are gonna be, to the point there we be essentially a giant black hole cropping up into their city if they don’t deal with the smaller ones. SO the EEs have to stop that all while having to deal with their villain counterparts as well as other silly funny and definitely not angsty heartbreaking shenanigans <3 all the while FT Never really elaborates on why the universe is basically dying? but I’m sure that’s fine! <3 dw about it!

I’ll also have you know that my basically co-writer @annamations03 is actually fucking insane (made not only a number of fics of these guys, And annamatics, AND a whole first half of a episode, AND A FUCKING MUSICAL. SHES ACTUALLY CRAZY AND SICK IN THE HEAD (AFFECTIONATE))

They dropped the act as the folds of Odysseus tent closed behind them. Odysseus stopped in his movement as he got a proper look inside. A flask of oil stood on the table, moved from its spot in the corner of his tent, yes. But it was still inside the tent. The fire of the torches flickered with a breeze. He turned to Diomedes, who had entered behind him. He was looking at the flask of oil as well, his expression impartial and unmoved. “Care to elaborate?”, Odysseus asked, after waiting for all of a heartbeat. "No"

“I’m...still covered in brime. Maybe I should first – ” Odysseus leaned in and placed a kiss on the inside of his thigh close to his knee. Diomedes shut up but kept eye contact with Odysseus. “I don’t mind tasting what is written on your skin”, Odysseus said, placing another light kiss further up his thigh. Diomedes seemed to look for a proper way to retaliate but as Odysseus let his tongue grace against his skin with the next kiss, he simply responded with: “Fine.”

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

Whyte: She's one of the scientists that seems to have her head on her shoulders. Plus, she did help Daniel out, which is a plus.

Daniel: The fact that he's not a carbon copy of Cash. It's just so refreshing.

They were both Project scientists. While that does evoke some lore exploration, The Project and its atrocities are part of the reason why the game seemed to age poorly compared to other Rockstar games, so, yeah.

8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

Whyte: They act like she doesn't even exist, which is kinda irritating, yet not surprising. Unfortunately, the same can be said for any other woman in the two games combined. The fact that I can count the women who had any form of significance in the Manhunt series' story with about one hand is disappointing.

Daniel: I find it mad annoying when discussion surrounding whether his or Leo's ending should have been canon. I've already elaborated on why both endings sucked, but the amount of people shitting on Daniel just to elevate Leo are a big reason why I'm just not attached to Leo at all. Do I dislike him? No, but I'll always prefer Daniel anyday.

First impression - Cool character, breath of fresh air

Current impression - Unironically one of my favorite characters in the entire Manhunt series. I just find her so interesting, and I love exploring her through my theories and headcanons!

Daniel:

First impression - He's just like me for real, I prefer him over the likes of Cash and Leo.

Current impression - Not much as changed. Despite me being more critical of everybody, my love for him and Whyte remains much the same.

In your interpretation, was Giratina really banished for its violence?

( ✦ ✦ — Kimiko’s Research ; headcanon ✦ ✦ ✦ )

I have provided a link for you above that includes a majority of Kimiko’s Research. It is summed up, but I will elaborate here for you in regards to Giratina’s banishment.

A short answer of this is, yes, Giratina was banished for its violence. But it isn’t just the violence that caused its banishment. It wasn’t the sole reason for banishment.

Note: I will refer to Gira as He in this post but that is because on this blog, Kimiko calls Giratina Him. In the AU i have created with a friend, Gira is naturally a male becuase of his personality. I am not trying to put pronouns on him it is just that for this interpretation I have for Giratina, he leans more male. 

I spoke to @hikaup​ about this too a little bit and while she said she still had a lot of stuff to talk about in regards to Gira, she did say something that caught my eye. ‘Giratina was banished because he defied Arceus.’ And it made me want to go reread what I had originally written about this subject. 

Yes, Giratina defied Arceus, but in more ways than one.

He was unstable in the Over-World. He was made of anti-matter, antimatter in general is very unstable under normal ‘earthy’ conditions. The world couldn’t handle his Origin Forme. No matter where he went or what he touched, he would destroy. This wasn’t on purpose either. Things just naturally broke apart or dissolved/disintegrated or what have you whenever he was around. 

In some cases, he was a means to an end. You could say he was that big red self-destruct button that Doofenshmirtz put on all of his inventions. If, at any point, Arceus wanted to destroy the world and start anew, Giratina would be your best bet because he, again, naturally broke apart the world in his Origin Forme.

Now in terms of weather or not Arceus made him on purpose or not? That’s a whole other question. In ‘scientific’ terms, Giratina was simply just the byproduct of the Space and Time Pokemon. The accident. He could have been the accident that Arceus knew was going to happen, but that’s a whole other question and subject anyway.

Moving forward though, because he was so unstable. He was forced into a more stable form: The Altered Forme. At this point, he was not banished, yet, Arceus was trying to make him stay without having Armageddon happening. But this didn’t sit so well with Gira.

He was really upset he was forced into a different body. He didn’t find it comfortable or natural. He hated everything about it. And with this new body, he went into a rage. 

This isn’t to say that was the only cause for it though. He used to be a really gentle heart. He still is at times with Kimiko, but that Gira is virtually lost. Mainly because he was born/created knowing that all he ever will be is destruction. He wouldn’t be able to be like his siblings and create things. 

A good metaphor to look at is magic. His siblings got the nice, fancy, whimsical magic at birth. It’s nice and fun to look at and it’s very helpful. You look at Giratina and he got stuck with destructive magic. And– oh shit core i see why Percy would hate being Gira’s herald…. ( @ofdistortions​ here and move on) ANYWAY. Yea Gira got stuck with the bad magic and he couldn’t play with said magic so he was forced to keep them locked away. (we all know what happened with that, must I bring a Frozen ref to this post?)

Moving forward, Giratina hated it. So he knew that he was an accident. He knew that Arceus, his ‘creator’ (and i say that loosely because honestly at this point he can have either Arceus as the creator or he can have Dialga and Palkia as the creators) was afraid and fearful of Gira. 

And you know how the saying goes: ‘monsters aren’t born, they’re made.’ In other words, you treat anybody or anything a monster long enough, and they become the monster you set them out to be. 

It really was what happened to Gira. Not because Arceus or his sibling thought so, but because of what happened whenever he came near things in his Origin Forme. He was frustrated. Now being forced into a new body in the Over-World just kinda pushed him over the edge. 

He became bitter and destructive. Nobody accepted him for who he was. Nobody seemed to show him the love. Everybody just expected him to be what they wanted him to be. So he went on a rampage. At this point, the griseous orb was an item that Arceus tried to give to Gira in hopes of calming him down, but it didn’t work. The orb only granted him to revert back to his Origin Forme and wreak more havoc.

He defied his own ‘father’ because he simply believed that Arceus just wanted to push the problem aside and try to fix it THEIR way. Instead of taking the problem head on. 

He defied his own father because Gira thought that he could create a better world – one where he could be happy and at peace. 

Knowing that Gira would just destroy himself in the process, and of the fact that he did go against all rules and laws of nature AND because he was too far gone in his anger and violence, Arceus was forced into banishing him.

But Arceus didn’t just banish him because of what HAPPENED. Arceus also banished him in hopes to make him happier. Since the Distortion World is the other side of the coin, Arceus genuinely hoped that they could save Gira. They didn’t want to kill him, they couldn’t kill him. It was a punishment, but it was also supposed to be the means to help Giratina.

Nobody wanted him in the Over-World. And Arceus could see that. But like Gira knew, they just pushed him aside. just swept it under the rug. So while the DW was supposed to help, it only made it worse. 

Giratina is a entity that is 99% made out of hate and spite at this point. At least emotion wise. The 1% of non-hate is not only hidden, but it is locked away. Nobody honestly even knew that Gira had any chances left to change. Well.. that is until Kimiko came along.

It was Arceus that saw Kimiko for what she was and what she represented. And she doesn’t even believe Arceus to the this ‘heavenly father’ or god or whatever. But that was what made her the perfect subject. That is why, he asked the Lake Spirits to help her. That is why she found Sendoff Spring. He knew that Gira would eventually pull her under. 

For Gira, Kimiko is an enigma. He’ll still attack her and be aggressive but that is because she belongs in a world not made for him. They are complete opposites by nature. Physically and emotionally they are not meant to be together. But in some ways this was Arceus’ attempt to make a few things happen.

To make matter and anit-matter coexist. To make love and hate coexist.To create an ambassador for both worlds.

Anyway again that’s another story but there you go. I hope this makes sense.
