SICK DAY ੈ✩‧₊˚
tom kaulitz x fem!reader
you help tom wash his dreads because they are dirty and poor boy is too sick to do it himself 😭.
warnings : fluff, swearing, friends bullying eachother (as a joke!!)
Tumblr media
you had been in lockdown at the twins house for about 2 days now.
2 days ago before their mother left to get groceries she warned that it would rain, and that you and the boys could not go outside in the rain because you could catch a cold.
but when she left the house, all hell broke loose.
bill peered his head out of the downstairs window, watching as his moms car pulled out of the driveway onto the rocky street, the sound of the car agaisnt the gravel getting fainter as it left their neighborhood
"y/n, tom!! grab the rainboots now!! mom left!!" bill shouted upstairs to you and tom, who were in his room watching tv.
"hell yeah!!" tom shouted as he headed for the hall closet, throwing out 3 pairs of rainboots, one pair alot bigger than the others.
"here, y/n, you can wear our moms!" tom handed you the large boots,
"are you sure?" you said, studying the rain boots.
"yes im sure. now get them on so we can go outside!!" tom shouted, looking over to bill who was standing by the door with his rainboots already on.
"HURRY UP YOU TWO!!" shouted bill as he motioned for you to hurry up.
you quickly put on the boots and stumbled over your feet because of the too-large shoe size.
bill caught you by your shoulders before you fell, he looked up at you and smiled before patting you on the back and urging you and tom out of the door.
the three of you danced and laughed, jumping in the small puddle in the road, all while the rain absolutely soaked your clothes.
"guys come and watch me sing!" you heard bill shout.
you looked over to tom who was already walking towards bill
"okay you two sit there" bill pointed to a spot in the wet, muddy grass.
"bill, really? you get to dance on the pavement and we get put in the muddy grass?!" tom argued.
"yeah? what about it?!" bill shot back rolling his eyes in annoyance.
you were about to break them up when you saw a very familiar car pull into the twins driveway.
"GUYS!!" you shouted pointing at their moms car
they stopped and looked at the car, then their gazes shifted to you and you nodded.
"RUN!!" tom yelled.
you guys all ran to the front porch, all stumbling as you took your shoes off before pushing eachother through the front door.
the twins mom ran inside with the groceries behind you three, and apparently bill was lacking behind because she grabbed his shirt before he could run away with you and tom.
you looked at him with pity before his mom sat him on the couch
"shit." you whispered under your breath. you and tom stopped to look at mrs. kaulitz.
"dont think you two are getting out of this!! tom, y/n, sit!!"
you and tom shamefully walked over to the couch where mrs. kaulitz gave you three a lecture about going out in the rain.
when the lecture that felt like hours finally ended, she checked all of your temperatures.
bill had a fever of 99.9,
you had a fever of 100.2
and tom had a fever of 102.3
"what am i gonna do with you three..?" mrs. kaukitz mumbled under her breath
you looked at tom who was mouthing her words with a crinkled nose. bill slapped him on the knee and told him to stop which made you let out a small giggle.
"okay, y/n. im gonna call your mom and let her know that you'll be staying here until you get better, okay?"
"okay, thankyou." you said with a smile.
you and bill were sat cuddled up on the couch watching tv while tom was in his room sleeping.
"hey.. bill?" you whispered.
no response.
he was definitely sleeping.
and soon you were too.
-
and now you are here, peering into toms room with a small bottle of medicine, you and bill were feeling much better than the day you had gotten sick, but tom on the other hand? not so much.
"hey, tom..? are you awake?" you whispered into his room.
tom pulled the covers off of himself "yeah." he muttered groggily.
"oh, well, your mom wanted my to give you this." you said softly, walking over to his bed.
he turned over to face you and sat up, you sat next to him cross legged and handed him the medicine, which he quickly swallowed down with some water.
he layed back but this time not putting the blanket over himself, instead he curled up next to you and sighed
you felt bad. tom never acted this, so you couldnt imagine how sick he was feeling. you brought you hand to his forhead and brushed the stray hairs off of it. "tom, your dreads are a little, uh."
"dirty? yeah i know. my mom keeps telling me to wash them but i dont wanna get out of bed." he nudged his head closer to you and you laughed.
"tom lets wash your dreads!! i can smell them from heree." you said dramatically plugging your nose and scooting off the bed.
tom replied with a long groan and with that you grabbed his hand and yanked him out his bed.
"jesus- what the f-" he paused and gave you a dead stare which you couldnt see because you were already walking cheerfully to the bathroom.
-
you set up a chair against the sink so that tom would have somewhere to sit while you did the dirty work.
"tom get off the floor now your chair ready."
"help me up-" he whined, but was cut off when you once again yanked him out of his spot.
"if my arm doesnt fall off by the next time you do that ill be suprised." he said as he sat wiped off the chair before sitting in it.
"me too. now lean your head back so we can wash your hair. the smell is unbearable." you made a gagging sound and tom rolled his eyes before closing them and leaning his head into the sink.
"dont get soap in my eyes this time. please?" tom opened his eyes for a moment to look at what you were doing.
"no promises."
-
you opened the bottle of shampoo with a 'pop' and put some in your hands running it through toms dreads, and he sighed at you massaged his scalp.
you turned on the tap and moved toms head farther into the sink so his hair would reach the water.
"tell me if its to ho-"
"OW BITCH IT FUCKING BURNS!!" tom shouted, lifting his head up from the sink and spraying hot water everywhere.
"oops." you laughed.
tom gave you a playful look and you returned one with your tongue stuck out.
"okay lean ur head back again i wont burn you this time!! promise!!"
"fine, fine!"
you finished washing out the shampoo and moved onto conditioner, again putting it in your hands and then in toms hair, avoiding the scalp.
the gentle rhythm of your hands moved through his locks, untangling any knots and soothing his whole body.
tom leaned into your touch, but he flinched when the water turned on in fear of being burned again.
"tom, relax!! this is supposed to be relaxing not traumatizing."
"maybe i am traumatized from you burning me." he laughed and adjusted his position in the seat.
-
after washing the last of the conditioner out of his hair you grabbed him a towel so he could wrap his hair, you truly didnt understand why he did it, but it was always funny when he did wrap his hair, so you never stopped him.
you threw the towel onto his head and grabbed his hand, navigating him back to his room.
he took the towel off of his head and glared at you which made you laugh.
he sat on the floor in-front of his mirror and skillfully tied the towel around his dreads.
"tom," you laughed. "you look funny with that towel."
"you always look funny." he sighed as he got up, smiling to himself at his 'genius' insult.
"no tom, seriously why do you use that towel?? you look like an egg!"
" one, it makes my hair look better, two, you are an egg." he sat next to you and layed his towel wrapped head on your shoulder.
minutes passed, and you couldve sworn tom was about to fall asleep when you heard someone tip-toeing down the hallway, and seconds later, toms door creaked open, making tom lift his head up and open his eyes.
bill peaked through the crack in the door before shouting "AHH!! EGG TOM!!" and running dramatically down the hallway, which made you and tom look at each other and burst out into laughter.

hello! if youre up for taking requests right now, could ask for some bonrin hanahaki au? honestly, theyre both so straightforward i'm not sure there would be any plot, but i though id check with you anyway just in case it tickled your fancy. thanks and i love your writing! im steadily trying to get through all of your ao3 fics!! :)
Hanahaki is, funnily enough, a trope I've always struggled with, and you're right about them both being straightforward making it difficult to do. (Though I recommend this fic by ShannyBanany for a fun hanahaki twist that uses their bluntness) However I got a random idea for a setup for this, and I've got the first chapter posted now ^^ (There will probably be 4 or 5 of them )
It isn't to the bonrin yet, but I hope you'll like it anyway, and that should start to get introduced with the next chapter! Here's an excerpt of it:
⊱✿⊰ - ⊱✿⊰ - ⊱✿⊰ - ⊱✿⊰
Ryuuji toddled into the kitchen with a, “mama?” and a sleepy yawn as he rubbed at his eye, dragging his blanket behind him with his other hand. Ryo had been tasked with watching him, but it was his mom he wanted to see so he’d left her and wandered around the big ryokan until he found the kitchen.
His mom was usually there making food for guests. Maybe she’d have something tasty.
The kitchen was empty, and that had him immediately pouting and looking around the room to see if he’d just missed his mom.
The window was open and he could hear voices outside, and there was a breeze blowing in from the garden, and something in it tickled his nose and had him sneezing up a storm. A cough followed that, and he was wandering further into the room he wasn’t supposed to be in alone.
“Mama?” He asked again and coughed loudly, remembering to cover his mouth at the last second. Something tickled and burned in his throat and chest, so he coughed again.
Torako wasn't here and Ryuuji turned to leave and look for her by the front, but he was distracted before he could make it there by the stove.
He'd always liked how shiny the door was, and he was absolutely not supposed to touch it but his mom wasn't here and Ryuuji toddled closer to look at the mirrored front, grinning and giggling at his reflection. He stretched up for the handle and could just get his hand on it and pulled.
The oven door swung down, sending a wave of heat over Ryuuji and groaning loudly with a final thump! that seemed far louder than when his mom used it.
“Shh!” he told it, and coughed again.
The air was hotter than he expected, and it had his eyes watering and burning, and was almost enough to distract him from hearing the door sliding open behind him.
The loud “Ryuuji!” was easy to hear and had him jumping and letting go of the handle that made the stove slam shut frighteningly.
“I told you never to use that and to not come in here when I'm not around!”
Torako’s arms wrapped around him and he was hauled up and away from the loud stove and sat on the counter where Torako hastily checked his hands and arms for any burns.
“You know you’re not supposed to touch the stove,” she chided, the rush of relief that he wasn’t hurt turning into fear that he’d do it again.
“I sorry, ma,” Ryuuji hurried, reaching up to pat her cheek and try to stop himself from getting trouble.
He coughed again, and the burn of that had his eyes watering.
Torako picked him up again with a rush of frustrated words, most of which Ryuuji couldn’t understand, but the, “you’re going in time out.” was clear and earned an unhappy cry of “ma!”
Ryuuji's tear covered face was not gently wiped clean and his second, “I sorry, ma,” did not earn him the forgiveness it would usually grant him. He got a stern frown instead and was brought to his room without further word. He was set in the corner and told to stay there as she scowled fiercely.
Then it was the dreaded words that always shattered him.
“I’m very disappointed in you, Ryuuji.”
He coughed as she left and reached up for her, but he knew better than to actually get up and run to her, and he was left alone in his room, coughing harder and alone and bad.
Ryuuji sat there for a few minutes, sniffling and coughing and rubbing miserably at his face and nose, but the coughing got worse until it was the kind that hurt. He couldn’t get whatever was causing the burn and tickle out,
Years later, he wouldn’t remember why he got so upset or why he started to sob, or why the burn in his throat had gotten so bad that he’d coughed hard enough to throw up.
He just remembered choking on spider lilies and trying to spit out the petals and crying for his mom or dad or someone to come and help.

Being A Henderson is complicated/ Eddie Munson x Reader:
Y/n is Dustin Hendersons older sister. She's a senior in highschool and has been involved with the party for awhile. She has helped with trying to save The town of Hawkins from the Upside Down. Eddie Munson starts to take a liking to the oldest Henderson.
Tumblr media
Who knew saving the world could be the hardest thing to do? Yeah beats me I mean the super hero's make it look easy. Well then again that is television... it's supposed to be fake.
Not only is saving the world hard it's also harder to be the oldest sibling and to take care of your younger sibling. Especially if it's Dustin Henderson.
"DUSTIN LETS GO" I shouted from down the hallway. Dustin was taking forever to get ready for school. Today is the last day until spring break and our mom is making sure me and Dustin are going to school.
Were I'm a senior now I have been driving for two years so I am an excellent driver. But it also sucks driving when you have to be forced to take your sibling everywhere. Then again I kinda don't mind besides I love me and Dustin's group of friends.
"DUSTIN IM LEAVING IN FIVE MINUTES HURRY UP" I shouted again. "COMING GEEZ" Dustin yelled back. I sighed and walked into the kitchen. I decided to make me two Eggo waffles before we left. I could already tell this was gonna be a long day.
As I'm in the kitchen waiting for the Eggos to be done I hear my brothers footsteps. "About time you got dressed and ready" I said. "Yeah yeah like you don't take twenty three minutes to get ready" Dustin snapped back.
I turned and looked at Dustin. He had a playful look on his face so I knew he was joking. "Yeah yeah but I love you Dustin" I said. I walked over to him and hugged him. Then the Eggos popped up from the toaster and I grabbed them. I handed one to Dustin so he could eat it for breakfast.
"Your a good sister" Dustin told me while grabbing his backpack. "Yeah and you better damn not forget it either" I said. We both got finally into my car and we made our way to Hawkins High.
___________________________________________
We finally made it to school and I parked my car. "Now am I still taking you back here tonight for Hellfire" I asked. "Yep and I'm pretty sure Eddie would love to see you" Dustin teased. I looked at Dustin with a confused look. "Why the hell does Eddie Munson want to talk to me" I asked.
"Well one your my sister, two your funny, and three I think he likes you" Dustin said. "There's no way Eddie likes me. Dustin everyone thinks I'm a weirdo. I've always been considered weird" I said.
Dustin frowned at what I was saying. "Y/n trust me your not weird in a bad way. Your really cool and smart and besides your the best sister in the world. Your my bestfriend and you have always been there for me" Dustin said. I giggled at what Dustin said.
He really did know how to cheer me up. "Correction Steve and Eddie are your bestfriends. I'm just your crazy older sister who you tolerate and annoy on a daily basis" I joked. Me and Dustin had a good laugh at that one.
Me and Dustin got out of my car and we walked into the school. We both went our separate ways and then after the school was almost over it was time for lunch.
*Dustin's POV*
After we told Eddie on why Lucas couldn't come to Hellfire tonight it kinda soothed down. I mean after Eddie of course made his big speech. "Hey uh Henderson I have a question" Eddie said. I looked over at Eddie and he had a serious look on his face.
"Yes" I said. Eddie smiled at me and came to sit beside me. "You know how I uh said I liked your sister. Well I really wanna know if she will like go out with me" Eddie asked. I smiled at Eddie and then looked down to my feet.
"You should ask her out then" I said pointing over at my sister walking towards us. Eddie turned his head immediately after I said that.
*Y/ns POV*
I walked into the cafeteria and I got my lunch for the day. I went to sit down beside some friends and we chatted. I looked up at the time and I seen it was almost time for me to go to work with Steve and Robin at Family Video.
I got up to go throw my food away and I seen Dustin. I needed to tell him I have work so that's why I will have to take him later instead of him staying after-school.
I walked over to Dustin's table and I seen Eddie turn and look at me. "Hey little man I gotta go to work and I'll be back later to pick you up" I told Dustin. Dustin nodded his head and smiled. "And that means you have to stay until my shifts done. And don't worry it will be done an hour before Hellfire starts alright" I said.
Dustin nodded his head at me again. "Alright sounds good thanks sis" Dustin said. "No problem little man" I said smiling. I looked at Eddie and he was smiling at me. "Hey Ed's" I said.
Then I looked over and I seen Mike. "Hey Mike" i said waving. Mike waved back at me and I turned to look at the rest of the table. I waved at the rest of the Hellfire group and I walked away.
Y/n not knowing it at the time but Eddie Munson started to take a big liking to the oldest Henderson.

The shuffle around the palace as Loki escorts you through the front gate is overwhelming.
It’s safe to say that judging by your reception when you’d shown up in Heimdall’s tower located on the far side of the city, the Asgardians are happy to see you.
Armod is also happy to see you and you rush to get into your car before you can get swarmed by eager Asgardians.
Loki joins you in the back seat and lets Armod gush over his happiness at seeing you back home and healthy. And pregnant! More than anything, the people are happy to see the swell of your belly.
Many of the women are crying as you step out of the car at the palace gate, the men cheering enthusiastically.
Some of the children have found flower petals to throw into the air and it rains white, pink, and yellow blossoms.
It's the small waving hand of a little girl with ebony floor length braids that tugs too hard on your heartstrings and you give in to your impulse.
“Armod, stop the car, I’d like to greet the people,” you ask, swayed further by the eager faces of the young girl's siblings who flank her..
As much as being Queen had come unexpectedly and as much work as it's been, loving the Asgardians has never been a challenge and you've missed your people.
Their kindness has always been the best part of your day.
Armod gives Loki a quick look but stops the car just as the palace gates are opening.
He pulls over to the side, putting it in park before hurrying out to open the door for you.
“Are you sure?” Loki checks, reaching over to place his hand over yours on the seat.
“Of course. I owe them this. I’ve been gone for so long.”
“If you’d rather go in, we can find an excuse.”
“Loki,” you laugh once. “Is something wrong? Is there a reason I shouldn’t get out of the car?”
“Not at all,” he assures you. “I just don’t want you to force yourself. I know this pregnancy hasn’t exactly been easy on you.”
“I’m okay. And I’m sure they wanna see the proof that they have an heir coming. Really, Loki, I don't mind.”
Loki sighs, but gets out quickly to move around and take Armod’s place and offer you his arm.
Taking it, you pull yourself out, and after a long moment to steady yourself on your feet, you turn to face your people.
A large number of Valkyries suddenly pour from the open palace gateway and you wait as they line themselves in front of the gathering crowd. A simple border of control to keep you safe.
The people don’t seem threatened by the guard either and they continue to cheer until you raise your hand and call them to silence.
It only takes a few seconds for the noise to die, leaving only the ambient sounds of the city, wind, and the shuffling feet as more Asgardians and visiting humans gather.
“Hello,” you begin, voice a little shaky from nerves. “I’m...I-I’d like to start by first apologizing for disappearing. And then for being gone so long.”
The people watch and listen attentively, hanging on your every word. As your hands drop down to your belly to stroke it anxiously out of habit, their eyes are drawn to it and they seem to rattle with excitement again.
Looking down at your tummy, you contemplate the little one inside and the kicks he gave you earlier in the day.
He's really in there.
“It’s been a long journey to do what’s been expected of me. Difficult, actually. Giving you and Thor what we’ve all been hoping for is a privilege though. It's important that you all know that.
"However, I'm not as strong as all of you. I'm not as resilient. As soon as I knew that I was expecting the future prince or princess of New Asgard, I knew that I had to take precautions. I had to stop thinking like your Queen and just for a while, think like a mom. I told Thor that I wanted to take some time away from my duties as Queen if only to make sure that my pregnancy would take. In order to ensure the health of this baby.
“Im so very sorry if I caused any of you any worry or pain by disappearing. That was never my intention and it makes me...I can only say that I'm sorry. I hope that you all can understand why I left. The The thing is I’m happy to say that my efforts weren't wasted, clearly."
There's a rumble of gentle laughter that flows through the crowd and breaks the slightly somber mood your speech is causing. You give them a smile and they smile back.
"And while that does make me very happy, it has not been easy to carry this baby. I have been sick and weak but after some rest I'm now feeling stronger than ever. With the constant and careful care provided by Doctors Wilson and Alric, I’m finally able to resume my duties as Queen with the knowledge that this baby is strong and healthy and my body can take the strain of bringing him-or her into this world.
“I’m so happy to be back among my people, my home. You all are my family and it fills me with such joy to know that I have made you all proud.”
The people cheer, more and more gathering along the street so that it’s now clogged and impassable. Others have taken to peeking out of windows from the surrounding buildings or finding balconies and roofs to stand on to get a better look at you.
Their excitement changes to trepidation at the look on your face as you realize that now is the perfect time to address what happened yesterday.
They’re so attuned to your mood that they quiet down again and wait nervously for you to speak.
"On a more serious note, I know that many of you must have been shocked by the lies spewed onto the pages of the Watch. And I'd like to be as clear as I possibly can about my absence from the palace.
"I only left because of the concern I had for our future prince or princess. There was absolutely no other reason for my absence in our great city. While it is true that something did happen between Thor, Jane, and myself--well, I will only say that now I know that His Majesty the King of Asgard is wholly devoted to me and our family, just as he has been from the moment he accepted me as his wife.
"Not that I ever doubted it," you lie. No one needs to know how bad things are and it is true that now you know Thor is devoted to you.
So, it's not completely a lie.
"As a people," you continue. "We'll need to be vigilant about the people we choose to trust to come into our homes. We will be more cautious now, and as a woman…"
You swallow hard, thinking about the words itching on the tip of your tongue to tumble forward and make your heart clear. Maybe it's not right to say it? Maybe it isn't the queenly thing to do?
You don't care.
"As a wife and a soon-to-be mother, I will say that Doctor Jane Foster is not welcome in my home. She has proven to be unworthy of the trust we placed in her and while her expertise is an invaluable commodity that I am sad to lose, I would rather have the second best than risk the stability of my family."
To your surprise, there are a flutter of approving nods and smiles, wives and husband's looking scandalized by the confirmation that something went down but clearly it was Thor that had Jane kicked out. A few cheers come but they quiet down quickly.
"My love for His Majesty is unwavering. As is his for me. No marriage can be without it's struggles but Thor and I are as united as we have ever been. Both in love, devotion, to each other and you, our people. Together we will strive to protect this kingdom to the best of our abilities and with this child, I hope we can begin to lay down proper roots for us so that everyone on Earth will know that New Asgard is here to stay."
The crowd cheers. It's deafening and your hands are trembling so terribly even clenched into fists they shake.
"LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!" someone shouts and the others fall into the chant as it's picked up by what sounds like everyone in the crowd.
A cool hand presses against the center of your back and you lean towards him as he whispers in your ear.
"That was beautifully done, Y/N," Loki admires. "Now come along. You need your rest."
You cradle your bump and the crowd cheers louder as you wave while Loki leads you back into the car.
As it pulls away from the curb, the Valkyrie turn to follow behind you. Faces full of stern pride. Their gleaming armor shining bright in the late afternoon sun.
The large wooden and steel reinforced gates of the palace close with a thundering clatter and you lean back, heart suddenly clenching painfully. Your stomach turns and you feel like you might throw up.
You shut your eyes and open the window allowing the cooling air to help drive your nausea away.
"Y/N? You alright?" Loki checks, putting his hand on your arm.
"I'm fine," you assure him, unwilling to open your eyes.
"Are you sure? Only, you're looking a little green."
That doesn't actually happen does it? Do people look green when they're gonna throw up?
You assume he's exaggerating, but as the last bit of the swirl in your belly passes, you look at him with fearful eyes.
"I'm nervous," you admit.
"To see Thor?"
"Mm," you nod.
"He's missed you. He will probably try and hug you. Might even kiss you."
"I don't know if I can handle that, Loki."
"You'll have to. The guards around the palace are sworn to secrecy about anything that happens in here, but with the amount of information that magazine was able to get we're pretty sure there's a mole amongst our number."
You look away from him, frowning because the last thing you want is to hug and kiss Thor.
Well, that is, you really want to do those things. Which is why you shouldn't. Not until you can be around him with some kind of rational thought and control over your feelings.
You need to get a grip and come to terms with the reality of your situation before you can let yourself love hum.
You have to protect yourself.
It turns out that you have nothing to worry about.
Estrid who had come before you with your things is there to greet you. A few others of the palace staff come to see you and you're welcome back with fondness.
Because you know you have to play the part, you look for him.
"His Majesty had a sudden summons from the Lady Sif and the Warriors Three, my Queen. He apologizes for missing your arrival but he's had the small dining room filled with all of your favorites.
"When you are finished with dinner, he has asked that you wait for him in his study."
Estrid's tone tells you she's wary for you. She wants to make sure you're okay.
The disappointment you feel gives you away not only to yourself, but everyone there to see your face fall as you caress your belly.
"A blessing in disguise?" Loki suggests in your ear for just you, but the smile on his lips says he knows better.
"He'll be back before it gets too late, Your Majesty," Estrid assures you, trying to soothe your sadness. "He promised. There’s nothing more he wants than to see you."
"I know," you smile at her, then the others before you head for the dining room, your stomach grumbling in anticipation of the foods you know are waiting.
~~~~~~~~~~
Waiting is torture. You keep trying to read your book but your attention is pulled back to the door of Thor’s study every few seconds.
You groan, dropping the book onto the desk before throwing your head back with scrunched up eyes.
How is it possible to be desperate to see someone while also dreading it?
It feels like you'll die if you don't lay eyes on Thor but also like it'll tear you to shreds if you do. There's no winning here.
You gasp as the door opens and get to your feet in the same breath.
Thor's body is rising and falling heavily with his own labored breathing. He'd been running.
To get to you? No. You can't be swayed.
"I'm here."
His declaration is soft but heavy with meaning. More than just him announcing his arrival.
"Oh, aren't you a vision," he gushes.
"Hi," you whisper, only because you can't catch your breath.
He's wearing jeans, a plain black t-shirt stretched across his bulging chest. He's even more massive than you remember. Three months away has deprived you so fully that suddenly being in his presence leaves you hungry for him.
You want him so much.
"I've missed you, desperately," he confesses. "May I greet you properly?"
You frown, so undecided.
"Or not," Thor relents. "Forgive me, I just got caught up in the moment."
Why is this so hard?
You want to feel him.
"You can greet our baby properly," you give in.
A big part of you needs to feel him and this is the only way you can give in and feel like you're still doing your best to hold strong in your resolve to get some distance.
Thor’s eye lights up and quickly finds the swell of your tummy with recognition.
"Really?"
"I will never keep you from our baby, Thor. Even if I'm not ready for things to go back to normal between us just yet."
Thor takes a half step towards you and watches you carefully for any indication that you're not comfortable with his proximity.
You sigh, head tilted to the left slightly before you hold out your hand to him, beckoning him closer.
In three long strides Thor takes your hand and stops when he's only a foot away.
"Here," you gasp.
Your heart is in overdrive. Thor’s touch is doing things to your body. There's an initial rush of butterflies in your stomach and quickly you pull Thor’s hands to the spots where your baby is kicking in response.
Thor’s body freezes. He goes rigid. He even stops breathing.
For a moment you begin to worry that maybe you've broken him, until he suddenly drops to his knees.
He swallows hard, eyes pooling as he stares at the swell of your stomach as the baby continues to kick.
“They’re really in there,” he’s so choked up about it that his voice cracks around the words.
As he speaks, the baby kicks more.
Thor laughs but then leans in to kiss your stomach over the fabric of your dress.
“We really made her,” Thor gushes.
“Her?”
He looks up at you, confused for a second before he smiles wide, “Or him. It doesn’t matter. What matters is our baby is coming.”
Your heart swells, and you’re so happy that you could float away like a hot air balloon with the warmth flooding your limbs.
This is the moment you’d dreamt of. This is the moment that had been stolen from you by Jane and her lies. This is the moment that you and Thor had both been yearning for.
He’s so caught up in it, floating through the glow of this perfect moment that he presses his lips to your tummy again two more times before he’s rising, his hand hooked behind your neck as he meets your lips as he gets to his feet.
You’re so unprepared for it, so utterly lost in this sweet exchange between him and your baby that your lips pucker on their own.
He opens his eye and yours, already open, stare into his. He looks slightly shocked to find himself kissing you but he doesn’t stop.
Instead, his expression shifts into a pained look of desire. He pulls back, his hand dropping to grip your bicep.
“I would say that I’m sorry but I have been wanting to kiss you since the moment I left you three months ago.”
You say nothing, watching him, listening. You’re searching your soul to see if this is okay with you because it feels okay. Despite the sirens blaring in your mind about the restrictions you’d set for yourself when you’d decided to come back home, your body is telling you it needs this. Your heart is painfully aching at Thor’s touch.
You’ve missed it. You’ve missed him.
“Is this alright? I can go.”
The idea of him going now feels like the end of the world. Rationally, you know that isn’t an appropriate response to his offering to leave you be, especially when you know you asked him for space for specific reasons.
“No,” your hands grip the sides of his t-shirt tightly, holding him in place without any actual strength since compared to him, you’re as mighty as a little mouse.
You refuse to look up at him, despite the crumbling of your resolve.
“No, don’t go.”
It’s an almost involuntary shy response to your diminishing shame at losing all control after his touch. After one kiss. You should be disappointed in yourself. And part of you is. However, that part of you grows increasingly small as Thor gently takes hold of your chin and guides your gaze up until you can meet his.
“I’m sorry, cherub. I will try and be worthy of you again.”
“I know,” you admit, knowing how sorry he’s been from the moment he realized that he’d done something that hurt you badly. “I know you are.”
“Can I kiss you, cherub?”
His voice is so deep, so alluring and coaxing that you drop your gaze again, fixing it on his collarbone before slowly you nod.
His arm winds its way around your waist and he pulls you to him before dipping down and catching your lips with his again.
He pulls away after a second because the swell of your belly gets in the way, but he laughs and looks down at it.
The pleasant sound of his happiness gives you too much joy.
As you begin to smile, Thor reaches down to press one hand to the side of your stomach while he pulls you against him again and kisses you this time with more fervor.
The longer he has his lips pressed to yours, the more enthusiastic he gets until finally you’re breathless and you pull back but instead of pulling away, you wrap your arms around him and fist the back of his t-shirt,
You bury your face against his wide chest and Thor brings his hands back up to caress the sides of your face, his lips kissing the top of your head.
“I know I may not have a right to say this, but thank you for coming home. Thank you for coming back to me. I thought I’d lost you."
His arms grow a little tighter, his heart is in an absolute stampede.
You turn your head sideways so that you can listen to his heartbeat.
"This is what I'd wanted," you whimper, starting to be overcome with the emotion of being reunited with Thor and things falling into place more easily. "This is how I'd wanted us to share this moment."
Thor sighs heavily, giving you one more squeeze before he pushes you back a little so that he can look at you.
“I’m so sorry that I robbed you of that. I was a fool,” he nods, his eye intense as he stares into yours with wordless declarations piercing into you.
The memory of your speech with the people when you arrived pops into your head and now with Thor’s arms around you it all feels a little like an overreaction. The past three months feels like a distant nightmare.
Or does this feel like a dream?
“Thor,” you begin but Thor’s lips are on you again, drowning out your words.
“Oh, to hear you say my name,” he declares and kisses you again.
Your mouth opens for him and you absolutely melt against his chest as he nearly dips you in passion.
He pulls back again, “Is this real?”
He kisses you.
“You feel so good in my arms.”
He kisses you.
“Your skin is so…” but then he hums and kisses you.
He dips down and with his arms tight around your waist but also careful with the swell of your stomach, he lifts you so that you’re level with his eye.
“I love you, so much, my cherub. Thank you, thank you for coming home. Thank you.”
“I’m sorry I stayed away,” you sigh. “I need to be strong without you, Thor. I was hurt but I never stopped loving you.”
His face goes through shame, understanding, and then elation.
In a burst of subdued anger and aggression for what he put you through, you reach up and grab his shoulder. You dig your fingers in against the taut muscle then reach up to pull one of his ears.
You’re clearly not hurting him but he allows you to move his head, understanding the need to express your anger even if you’re not doing any damage.
“Never do that to me again,” you growl. “Never say that you’ll leave me. Why would you say that? Even in passing? You were so damn sure.”
“No, Y/N, I wasn’t. The moment I saw you, I knew that I could never leave you. I’m sorry. I could never even think those thoughts again.”
“You better not, or I won’t come back next time. I’ll disappear and you’ll never see me again.”
Thor takes your threat for what it is. A promise. Truth.
He shakes his head as he leans forward to press his forehead to yours, shutting his eye.
“I swear,” he begins. “On my life.”
He keeps you there, hovering over the ground with your heads together for a few minutes before he slowly lowers you to the ground. You realize it’s because he wants to stroke your belly and you take a slight step back so that he can.
He smiles, happy. It reminds you of the look your people had when you’d arrived only a hundred times as possessive and joyful.
Again, your speech intrudes on your reunion and this time, you won’t let him distract you.
“Thor,” you coax, placing your hands over his where they rest on the sides of your stomach.
“Yes, my cherub?”
He’s excessive in the affection he puts in his voice but you know that he must be floating on cloud nine after what you both went through when you made him leave you at your house.
“I-I did something and I’m not sure if it was right of me to do it,” you watch his brow wrinkle and for a split second you almost lose yourself in the beauty of his face.
Has he always been this handsome?
“When I got back I kinda made a speech? Everyone was so happy to see me and to see me carrying our heir and I wanted to apologize to them for leaving and for making them worry. I wanted to share in their excitement for the baby and with that stupid tabloid having come out yesterday-”
“Right, the article,” there’s guilt in his voice despite there being no truth to the rumors it printed.
“I wanted to put their minds at ease and I...I did confirm that something happened with Jane but not what they were thinking.”
Thor’s expression hardens just a tad and he pulls backs towards a large armchair. He grabs your hand though and pulls you along with him until he can sit and then carefully attempts to offer you his lap, unsure if you’ll sit.
You do, because you’re tired and because you’re not eager to be away from him again. Now that you’re touching him, you’re not in a hurry to change that again.
“What did you say exactly?”
Swallowing hard, you lick your lips nervously, “Um...I told them the truth. Not exactly the truth, but enough of it that they’ll understand that Jane isn’t welcome here. I said that the only reason I left is for my health and the health of the baby, which is true. I didn’t want them to worry about us because even if we didn’t reconcile, I want us to be united for them at least.
“But I don’t trust Jane, Thor. Not after what she did. Not after how she treated me when you weren’t looking, and the people need to know that I will protect them from anyone, no matter who they are to you or me.”
Thor’s face grows pained as you speak, his arm wrapping around your waist as his other hand caresses the side of your stomach. You’re starting to realize that it’s going to be hard to get his hands off it, but that doesn’t seem like a terrible problem.
“I wish you had told me that she’d been rude to you,” Thor sighs, taking his hand off of his stomach to stroke your cheek. “If I had known-”
“She wasn’t rude to me Thor, she dismissed me. I wasn’t even worth acknowledging to her and now I know it’s because she was jealous and wanted you back because what? She saw what we had together and suddenly it was good enough for her?
“I was in her way. That’s all I was. Even if in the end she couldn’t go through with it whether it was because she felt guilty for doing this to us or for lying or for having second thoughts and knowing that she doesn’t want to be Queen or a mom, she’s a bad person to me. And I have every right to protect myself, my baby, and our marriage from her. She’s not welcome here Thor. I never want to see her again. Ever.”
He’s cradling you now, holding you close because the intensity with which you're telling him that Jane is not welcome in your home is transferring to him.
“And if you’d known, you wouldn’t have done anything, Thor. You’d probably have talked to her and asked her what was going on and she would have lied to you and you would have believed her.”
He doesn’t deny it. He does look like it hurts him to know that you know though. That’s enough for you.
“I think it took her lying and doing this to us to make you see what she’s capable of.”
Thor shuts his eye, resting his head against your chest as he wraps his arms around you again.
“I’m sorry.”
“I know you are, Thor. But you weren’t the one who lied. I mean, you didn’t tell me what was happening, but you weren’t the reason that this happened. If Jane hadn’t lied-”
“But she did,” Thor says, his deep voice anguished. “And I failed to honor my vows. You are my Queen and I should have come to you the moment she told me she was pregnant.”
You both fall into silence as you reach over to stroke his bicep. His skin is so soft. Touching it gives you comfort in a way you weren’t aware you needed. The more you touch it the more you need to feel it.
A finger stroking his skin turns into two, then four, then your entire hand is running up under the sleeve of his t-shirt.
With the way his hand curls around your thigh, you know that both your bodies are responding to your touch. Both of you are heated but instead of giving into that because you aren’t ready for that yet, you lay your head on his shoulder and curl in closer to his chest.
Thor sighs heavily, wrapping you up in his arms as he cradles you close.
“Now we know better,” you whisper.
“Now I know what losing you will do to me,” Thor agrees. “I’ve missed you so much, cherub.”
You don’t respond. You’re too choked up to say anything without your voice cracking so both of you stay like that for a while.
The cocoon of Thor’s arms is toasty and from the exhaustion you’re feeling plus all of the emotions that have drained you, your eyes are heavy and difficult to keep open.
“What about you?”
Thor’s chest rumbles with a chuckle.
“We can talk more tomorrow, cherub. Sleep.”
“I’m not sleepy,” you lie.
“Very well, then. What about me?”
“You’re sleepy?” you look up at him, full of concern.
He chuckles again, “No, cherub. What were you asking?”
“Oh! I just wanted to know if you’re okay. What Jane did to you can’t have been easy. Despite what she did to us as a couple, she said she was pregnant. You’ve been wanting a baby for so long and she dangled that in front of you like the rat that she is. And then she wasn’t even pregnant?”
Thor’s arms constrict around you as he pulls you up towards him to kiss you.
It’s slow and full of emotion.
“Even after all of that, you’re still worried about me?”
“It took time,” you admit. “Once I wasn’t so angry and I thought about what Jane really did. I hate the idea that your heart broke over her lies. I can’t believe she ever loved you if she was willing to make you feel that way.”
Thor just stares at you, searching your eyes before he rubs his nose gently against your own. When he speaks, his voice is so low, so deep, an intimate whisper. It burrows into your chest and settles right there underneath your ribs and makes you breathless with missing him and desire.
“That’s why you’re my Queen, Y/N. And she is not.”
You’re not sure if it’s an Asgardian ability or if maybe it’s something specific to Thor, but he has a way of making you swoon.
“I missed you so much,” he confesses again, that whisper sinful. “Did you not miss me?”
You nod because you can’t speak. There’s a lump in your throat made of both sadness and want.
“Was your bed as frigid as mine was in your absence? Did you miss my breath on your neck as I did yours? Or the steady beat of your heart when you pressed your breast to my back as you held me while I slept?”
Fuck, he’s making this so impossible.
“I hate you so much,” you counter, but his lips stretch into a small knowing smile as you take a tight hold of the neck of his shirt and pull him up to meet your lips.
He exhales heavily into you, tasting you, relishing in every pulsating touch as both your hearts ache and yearn almost in disbelief as if both of you can’t believe that these wants, these needs are finally being met.
As he pulls back to tilt his head the other way, he takes hold of the sides of your face again, his lips grazing yours, “I love you.”
Before you can reply or yank him back into that torturous yet blissful kiss, a voice at the doorway clears their throat.
“Well, that was fast, what happened to keeping him at a distance?”
Loki’s voice pulls your gaze and you can feel your cheeks and neck burn at how easily it seems you’ve crumbled when finally face to face with Thor.
You frown at your brother-in-law, while Thor ignores his brother and leans up to press very non-chaste kisses to your neck, “I told you coming back was a bad idea.”
But Loki’s smile is blinding and with one chuckle he backs out of the room, shutting the door quietly as Thor turns you back to him so that he can get back to kissing you.
It was late in the night when Professor McGonagall fetched you and all of the Weasleys to go to Dumbledore so you could all take a Portkey back to Grimmauld Place. The Professor said something had happened with Arthur Weasley; so all of his children, you and Harry were taken away from Hogwarts.
It wasn’t the protocol getting you to travel too, but since you were awake when Professor McGonagall showed up in a hurry and told you to fetch Ginny, you managed to convince McGonagall that you would’ve to come with the Weasleys.
When finally there, nobody was able to stay still.
Fred and George were desperately trying to convince someone to take them to St. Mungo’s, even though Sirius repeated that it was not the smartest thing to do. The best was waiting inside of the House of Black even if it was not easy.
You noticed Fred and George weren’t going to let Sirius have a moment of peace — if there could be one at this point — so you requested a tour around the place since it was your first time there.
Reluctantly, Fred and George walked you around the house.
“He’s gonna be alright, come on; you both know it,” you said while walking through some sort of music room — it had a piano at least. “Your dad’s tough.”
George sighed but remained in silence. It was Fred that spoke.
“You can’t be sure of that. ”
You sat down in the piano, running your fingers carelessly over the musical instrument. Thankfully, the sound that came of that wasn’t loud.
“I can’t, you’re right,” you lamented, gulping.
Fred and George stared at themselves — they were in opposite corners of the room — and then they looked down at you in the piano stool.
“Sorry I was rude,” gasped Fred, stepping closer to you.
He was already taller than you, but with you sitting, the difference started to actually hurt your neck.
You shrugged in response. Fred knew you weren’t mad at him, he didn’t need to hear you say it. However, for just a second, he gazed down at you, locked in your eyes. Those moments were happening with more frequency, and that kinda worried him. He was sure he was being too obvious, and you would soon realize you saw him as more than just friends.
But you were too worried about your own obviousness towards fancying Fred to notice he liked you as well.
George looked around the room, trying really hard to not make a sound and interrupt the moment. He knew how much his twin fancied you. He suspected you desired Fred too, but he wasn’t sure yet.
You fake coughed, totally ruining the moment on purpose. Gosh, if Fred finds out I like him, he’ll never talk to me again, you thought, turning to face the piano.
“Do you guys know how to play?” you asked, running your fingers over it once again.
Fred and George exchanged looks before bursting in laughter.
“Do you take us for pianists?” George asked back before laughing again.
You should have paid more attention — they seriously didn’t look like musicians. Even so, you three squizzed yourselves in the one stool and attempted to produce music. Each of the twins sat in one of your sides, and you had to concentrate a lot to act normal with Fred’s proximity. You two were practically breathing the same air.
George’s here too, you freak, you thought, biting your inner cheek.
At ten past five in the morning, after a dozen attempts to play Für Elise — you three couldn’t even pass the third note —, Mrs Weasley stopped by the house.
As soon as Fred and George heard the doo, they jumped out of the stool.
“ ‘S gotta be mum,” said Fred. All the calm he had gained with playing the piano with you disappeared.
“Let’s see her,” said George and they walked away of the music room without waiting for you.
You sighed, closing the piano fallboard before getting up and heading out.
Of course, you were worried about their father, but you were also very, very tired. They were sleeping when the Professor fetched them, but you had been wide awake by the fireplace trying to finish a book you were desperate to know the end. Now, you couldn’t care less.
When you got to the kitchen, Ginny, Harry, Ron, Fred and George were around Mrs Wealsey, analyzing every word she had to say.
“We can all go and see him later,” she finished saying. It was probably a phrase that had started before you got downstairs, but there was no need to hear more — if they could go see him, it meant he’d be alright.
Fred turned his face around, looking for you, and when he found your eyes, he pressed his lips together tightly. It was his way of saying he was sorry again because you actually turned out to be correct.
“Oh, y/N, my dear, I didn’t know you were here too,” said Mrs Weasley, interrupting your discreet moment with Fred.
“Yeah,” you said, having no idea of what to say beyond that. It was weird and unexpected your presence there. Not even Hermione was there, and she was always around Ron.
You didn’t spend much time with the whole Weasley family; just Hogwarts time with Fred and George. Sometimes, you’d share trips to Hogsmeade with Ginny, but that was it.
“The more, the merrier!” said Sirius, getting up from his chair with a tender smile.
“Sure hope you think that, Sirius, ‘cause we might stay for Christmas,” said Mrs Weasley, clenching her jaw.
Sirius chuckled. “If you promise to cook.”
“Of course!” smiled Mrs Weasley, and Ginny giggled in the back.
Breakfast was served, and it was weird eating it before having slept, but nobody seemed to care. It wasn’t as good as Hogwarts’ feasts, but you didn’t mind. The fact that you were actually there — headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix, organization you only heard Fred and George mention — made the details unimportant.
“You five should sleep after eating,” said Mrs Weasley, who was up behind the chairs where Fred and George were sitting. “We can visit your dad later.”
Fred seemed about to protest when his mom touched his shoulder softly, but it was a clear warning for her son to not complain, and so, Fred shut.
Harry joined some minutes later, after a long conversation with Sirius Black — who was, to you, an honour to meet. You knew that, although the Ministry was painting him as a villain, he could only be pure of heart, so much Harry spoke well of the man.
“Fred, honey, would you mind sharing your bed with George?” asked Mrs Wealsey when she noticed that her boys had finish eating. “There won’t be an extra bed for y/N, I’m afraid.”
Fred snorted, annoyed, and said: “Mum, George can’t sleep still; you know how much he moves around!”
George didn’t even bother being offended — he knew his twin was telling the truth.
Mrs Weasley puckered her forehead, thinking an alternative through. Ginny couldn’t share the bed with you — the youngest Weasley had already gotten upstairs to her bed and was probably deep sleeping right now. Ron was never pleased with sharing, and she would never bother Harry, who was being a dear just help Arthur Weasley being rescued.
“I suppose you and y/N could share it then,” said Mrs Weasley, noticing that was her only option left. She concluded you and Fred would be too tired to try anything under her nose. She was only half right about that, though. “Take my bed that is bigger in the other room, and I take your single.”
George sighed with the thought of sleeping in the same room with his mom like a toddler.
You and Fred, on the other hand, couldn’t stand to look at each other. Every time you tried, you would feel your cheeks turning red, and you would look away.
However, neither of you complained to Mrs Weasley about it, scared to lose an opportunity to be closer to each other. After helping with the dishes, you both headed, side by side, to the mentioned room.
Fred cleared his throat as you lay with your bellies up, taking extreme care not to touch each other.
“Thanks for earlier, with the music and all. It was a great distraction,” Fred said, turning just enough to see your face.
Oh, how gorgeous she is! he thought.
Your hair loose over the pillow, his big hands rested over his abdomen, your faces blushed with the closeness...
You turned to face Fred before replying. “My mum used to play me songs in our guitar back through the first war,” you said, biting your inside cheek, suddenly embarrassed fo sharing such a personal memory.
Fred knew that your father had died in the first war, you two had talked about it before. But it was never something that caused you pain — you were much too young when he died. It was the days when growing up, seeing the neighbours’ kids with their fathers and you having only your mom — that was when it started hurting. And that was when your mom started playing music to calm you.
“I find it quite relaxing,” you said.
“I sure was relaxed with you,” Fred said before blushing, ashamed with his unexpected confession.
You gulped, unsure of what to say or do. You decided it was best to remain silent because Fred probably felt relaxed with all of his friends.
There was nothing left to be said, and Fred really needed to sleep if he wanted to see his father later, so you returned to your first position — facing the ceiling. You never knew, but, without your eyes staring deep into his, he was finally able to fall asleep.
On the other hand, it took you a couple more minutes to travel to the dreamland. Knowing that Fred was closer than ever before made you feel more awake than if you had slept all day. Of course, that was just a false sensation your subconscious tricked you with — soon, you were sleeping too.
“Come on, love birds! Mum wants us to come now!” yelled a voice, pulling the blankets away from you.
“Be more gentle, George,” advised another voice.
“Come on, you two!” shouted the male voice again.
It toom you a couple of seconds to finally open your eyes and take a glimpse of who owned the voices that were disturbing the most peaceful nap you had ever gotten.
Ginny stared at you with a wan smile while George held in one of his hands the cosy blanket that was once over you. But their faces were hiding something, and it was just when George smirked to you that you decided to sit up.
Fred was thinking of doing the exact same thing as you, but he was having more trouble with it since you were practically all over him.
Yeah, that’s right.
The cosiness and warmness didn’t come from the blanket — it came from Fred Weasley.
He was still laying with his belly up, but over his abdomen, you had arranged yourself, in some sort of embrace or hug. So, obviously, you blushed right away — your whole face redder than the Weasleys’ hair.
Fred was blushing too, but since you had hidden your face over your pillow — the exact one you clearly didn’t use to sleep — you weren’t able to see.
“Get out,” he muttered with grinding teeth. George pretended to be angry and walked away, tossing the blanket over the bed with no caution. Ginny took one last glimpse around before whispering for you two to not be late.
Fred sighed before taking the pillow over your head.
“They’re gone,” he said with a sad smile.
“I’m sorry for... well, wherever was that. I probably am a sleepwalker or something; I swear I didn’t place myself over your chest on purpose,” you said, biting your lip and facing him with hope in your eyes — hope that he would believe you were not a maniac.
Fred wished you had done that on purpose because that had been the most comfortable he had ever felt in a bed.
“Don’t worry about it. Sorry about my siblings,” he said, finally getting up. “I’m gonna see my mum and make sure we’re going to St. Mungo’s too.”
“We?” you echoed the word out loud, but he had already left the room, and so, he didn’t hear.
You were planning on going with the Weasleys, sure, but you didn’t know they wanted you there as well. Well, at least Fred did.
You gave Fred a few minutes to get downstairs before you. When you got there, everybody seemed to be waiting just for you.
“Sorry for not waking you up earlier, dear. You both looked so relaxed,” said Mrs Weasley, stepping towards you. She held you by your shoulders. “I prepared both of you sandwiches, so you can eat faster.”
She let your shoulders go and grabbed one sandwich over the table — the second one was already half-eaten by Fred Weasley in the other corner of the kitchen. You were too embarrassed thinking that even Molly saw you hugging Fred in your sleep to say something other than thank you.
“Your trunks are here too,” the woman mentioned, with a small smile. Fred finished his sandwich, so you hurried to finish yours. “Tonks? Mad-Eye?”
With Mrs Weasley calling, both of the mentioned walked in the kitchen and Ginny rushed to Tonks, hugging her tightly.
“Nymphadora?” you asked, almost choking on the last bite. The short pink hair was the essential clue for you to connect the surname to the person. You just didn’t call Tonks Tonks, it was a childish habit, but it was unforgettable.
“Don’t call me...! Hey, it’s you!” exclaimed Tonks, as soon as Ginny freed her and ran to your side, hugging you. “You grew up, Merlin!”
You let out a hearty laugh while struggling to breath. Tonks finally freed you, but still stayed by your side. You knew each other because you were neighbours for a while, and often your mother alone could not take care of you — Nymphadora always offered (for a sickle a day) to babysit.
If it was up for you and Tonks, you’d have stayed the day talking, but Mrs Weasley kindly reminded there was a place you needed to be.
The trip to St.Mungo’s was, to say the least, embarrassing. Every time Fred would lock eyes with you, your cheeks would turn red, and it felt like everyone knew how you too slept. Together, tightly, legs intertwine... Yeah, you had to fight yourself to not remember those things.
Thankfully, you and Tonks got a minute to talk when the family walked in with Harry to see Arthur Weasley. She told you everything about her job and how she liked to now be a part of the Order. “Sure Dumbledore will ask you to join when you come of age,” she even mentioned with a nudge of shoulders.
The Weasleys trooped back into the corridor. Tonks glanced at you, but she already knew you weren’t going to come in, so she went in with Mad-Eye and closed the door behind them. Fred raised his eyebrows towards you — he wasn’t seriously expecting you had something to talk with his father, right? — but then George suggested to listen behind the door, and everybody was distracted for a moment.
After that espionage, Harry Potter started acting odd as ever, but definitely not more than you and Fred. Ginny and George would look from Fred to you, and then they would giggle. Somehow, that was making matters worse.
Back at the headquarters, things still weren’t easy.
“Ginny, would you mind sleeping with y/N?” whispered Mrs Weasley in what she hoped was a tone you wouldn’t hear, but you did. You stepped away as quickly as you had stepped in, and turned around, desperately trying not to overhear that conversation.
So Fred asked to not sleep with you again. That was presumable but still unpleasant.
Ron asked for your help to decorate the house for Christmas, and you accepted gladly, hoping the task would take your mind out of Fred.
Ron was worried about Harry — he seemed to think whatever Harry heard Mad-Eye talk upset him. You agreed and added that Ron should just give Harry some time, without pushing him.
Ginny joined to help, and as soon as Ron went to the back to get a stair, Ginny rushed to your side and elbowed you.
“So, don’t know if you heard, but I told mum I wouldn’t sleep with you,” she said with a smile.
You almost dropped the ornament in your hand.
“Sorry?”
“So you can sleep with Fred again, duh!” she kept the smile on.
“Hm, Ginny, I’m pretty sure your brother doesn’t want that to happen again,” you said, avoiding to look at her happy face. “He asked your mum to change the place I was sleeping in.”
“What? No, y/N! Where did you get that idea? Mum’s the one trying to part you too,” Ginny laughed at your ridiculousness. “She thinks you two are secretly dating and she can’t let ‘Fred make her a grandma so early’.’’
Your eyes widened as you slowly turned to face Ginny, but first making sure no other Weasley was around.
“Her words, not mine,” added Ginny quickly and she burst into laughter staring at your silly face.
“Good Lord. I hope you corrected her about my relationship with Fred,” you sighed, pressing a hand over your heart. “I completely forgot she had gotten a glimpse at us this morning,” you whispered, just to yourself really.
“Why would I correct her? He wants you, you want him. Just a matter of time ’til she’s right” said Ginny and she started running away from you because the face you made was positively scary.
When decorations were up, and Christmas spirit was finally in the house, it was already time for bed again. Fred and George had gotten upstairs before you because you pretended to be really interested in Mrs Weasley’s knitting. The truth was you didn’t want to face Fred again.
You sighed, giving up in your fight. You should face Fred once and for all. Speak the truth, walk away and sleep in the couch downstairs.
But when you got into the room, and you saw his face, you just froze. He was laying on the bed with his belly up and his eyes closed — for a moment, you thought he was sleeping, but then his breathing wouldn’t be completely unregulated.
“Fred?” your voice was too high, and you ended up scaring him. He jumped up, sitting down immediately. “Sorry,” you muttered, sitting down in front of him.
You both breathed hard. Fred seemed to want to say something, but you would never know because you interrupted his half-open mouth with yours.
You kissed him in a rashed and inexperience way, after all, he didn’t expect that. And, honestly, neither did you.
Fred suspected that either you would ignore him forever and pretend that the nap shared in an embrace never happened or that you would hit him and kick him out of the room. Feeling your lips on his was a more fanciful idea than any he has ever had.
It took Fred a little while to get rid of the shock, but when he realized that you were kissing him because you wanted to, he gave in, pulling you by your waist and sitting you over his lap. He smirked in the middle of the kiss, causing you to let a slight giggle out. Your hands went from his cheekbone to his hair, and you played with it with pleasure.
“If I knew the way to your heart was napping with you, I’d have done it sooner,” Fred whispered, breathing hard when your lips were away from his.
You smiled, “you got to my heart way before you slept with me, Fred Weasley.”
He squeezed your waist, pushing you away just enough so he could see your face. You blushed when your eyes met.
“Good to know that,” he smiled too. “ ‘Cause I’ve been thinking all day that you were ignoring me, that you hated me... ”
“I thought you were ignoring me!”
You two giggled at your stupidy.
“Sorry for kissing you out of nowhere,” you sighed, slowly placing your hands on his shoulders.
“You are welcomed to do it anytime you want,” he said, looking down to your lap still over his.
“Like now?” you smirked too. “Because I feel we lost too much time sleeping today...”
“Y/N, I’ve been thinking exactly the same thing,” he susurrated and smirked, pulling you closer to his chest and kissing you harder than before.
And this time was just perfect.
__
Bonus:
“So how was last night?” Ginny asked as soon as you steeped in the kitchen the next morning.
You could have stayed in bed curled in Fred forever — you sure wanted to— but you knew that if Mrs Weasley had any more reason to believe you and Fred were together, nights in the same bed would be over.
And so, doing the things you did last night would be way harder to achieve.
“What you mean?” you asked, grabbing a mug of hot cocoa.
“Please,” Ginny rolled her eyes. “See that look in my brother’s face? Last time I saw him that happy was when he got a new broom.”
You turned your face insignificantly to see Fred, who was sitting at the end of the table, eating some sort of bread with Geoge right next to him.
You frowned slightly to Ginny, who rolled her eyes more time.
“Good Merlin, I won’t be able to be two meters near you two, will I?”
You giggled and tried to hide your smile with the mug. Fred heard the sound of your laugh and instantly turned to your direction. His eyes wandered your whole face, and he fixed them in your mouth. He licked his lips before smiling and blink, and then he turned to his twin as if he was paying attention to George all along.
When your heart started beating again, the rest of the Weasleys and Sirius Black had gotten to the kitchen too.
“Where’s Harry?” Ginny asked Ron, but he shrugged. Harry was going through his own problems. “Well, anyway, pay up, will you, Ronniekins.”
“What?” he looked at Ginny, “wait, what?” he looked at you. “Couldn’t have waited one more night, could you?”
Ginny smiled when Ron tossed her a sickle.
“You guys placed a bet over Fred and me?” you whispered to the red-haired girl.
“Sure I did, and I won,” Ginny smiled while you rolled your eyes. “If it makes you feel any better, Fred lost. He said you would never like him back.”
Your eyes went from Ginny to Fred across the table, and for a minute while you looked at him, you forgot his entire family was there, and you sighed like a girl in love. Well, that was what you were anyway.
When you and Fred finally got time alone, you gave him a sickle.
“You should never have bet against us,” you said, placing the coin in his hand.
“Never doing that again,” he promised with a soft smile before pulling you close one more kiss.
Missy’s Lesson Plan
Lesson #1 Listen to Her Worries
Tumblr media
pairing: marcus moreno x f!teacher!reader characters: f!reader, marcus word count: 3.6k+ warnings: fluff, awkwardness, bonding, summary: dating is hard; dating after losing a significant other is even harder, but Missy is sure she has a foolproof plan that will help her dad and her teacher finally confess their feelings and get the happily ever after that they deserve! a/n: sorry for the wait! since so many people liked it i wanted to make sure everything about this chapter was decent to post, so ya’ll have @forevans to thank or else this would’ve been stuck in limbo for a long time lol--also, im about to dub reader and marcus the thank-you-couple lmfao--you’ll see why
Tumblr media
There are three things you are absolutely sure about in your life.
1. Your name. 2. You love your family. And 3. Missy Moreno is your favorite student.
“Turns out she was just testing us!” She moves around your classroom, picking up scraps of paper and throwing them into the black, durable trash bag she’s hauling around with her, recounting her heroic tale of saving her dad and the other Heroics with her new super powered friends. “A transfer of power or something. Can you believe it?”
Yes and no.
Your heart had literally jumped out of your throat and blood turned cold when Missy was plucked from school during recess—“taken somewhere safer,” the principal had informed you after you stormed into her office wanting to know where your student was and why you weren’t informed.
School was released an hour after that, a way to prepare citizens for the inevitable destruction the Heroics tend to cause in the heavily, populated metropolitan areas, and after making sure every single one of your students had been picked up by a family member, you hurriedly headed home.
You had sat yourself down in front of the television with your mom, worried for Mr. Moreno and the rest of the Heroics (more so for Missy’s dad), feeling completely and utterly helpless.
It only got worse when agents suited in black and white showed up at your doorstep, demanding to know where Missy Moreno and the other super powered children were hiding.
“You lost them?” You had balked—your worry rising to new heights—first Mr. Moreno and now Missy? You didn’t know what to do other than demand how a bunch of agents could have lost a group of untrained children during an alien invasion!
None of them answered you, remaining stoic, and if it weren’t for your mom, you would’ve pounced and clawed the closest agent out of desperation.
The agents only left after turning your house upside down in their search for the children.
And then, after hours of waiting, the news showed the Heroics, Anita Moreno, and the children landing in front of the White House, safe and sound. You almost cried from relief in your mother’s arms.
So, no, you can’t believe it; but seeing her here, this special girl, that has somehow worked her way into your heart from the moment she walked into your life, safe and sound in your classroom, you do believe it.
But you can’t tell Missy all of that when she’s practically bouncing on the heels of her feet, beaming up at you every few seconds to watch your reactions to her story. Instead, you widen your eyes for good measure and your mouth hangs open. It’s a little exaggerated, but you really are impressed with Missy—very much worried, but impressed. “Woah! I’m so proud of you!”
Her grin is so bright and proud, it makes you chuckle under your breath, your shoulders finally relaxing at the rare, childlike mirth dancing in her eyes.
“Are you going to write about it for your report?”
She shrugs. “Maybe.”
Now that stops you from sorting through the craft supplies, eyebrow raising in surprise. “Maybe?”
“It’s stupid,” she murmurs, focusing a little too much on one area.
“Missy,” you start, patient, “why do you think it’s stupid?”
“It’s just—” she shuffles on her feet and then sighs heavily, looking up at you with dark eyes full of doubt—“what if no one believes me?”
It takes you no time to close the distance between you. You coax the bag out of her hands and set it down on the floor, motioning for her to sit at the desk she had just been pretending to clean. “Why do you think no one would believe you?”
“Because I don’t have super powers.” Her nose wrinkles, looking away from you and to the whiteboard.
“Missy…”
“I know, I know!” she exasperates, having heard this spiel from you many times before. “It doesn’t matter, it’s never mattered, I get it!” You stare at her incredulously, and she is quick to assure you, leaning forward on the edge of the chair. “I do, really! But I—it would be useful, you know?” She slumps back, finger rubbing at a spot on the table. “Proof, I guess.”
“Powers could always be useful,” you agree with a soft laugh. “But not always necessary.” She still doesn’t look at you, and you sigh softly, a small amused smile forming on your lips. “I know you know some of the most amazing, most brave people are the ones without powers.”
She looks up at you, head tilting and waiting for you to elaborate.
“You once told me that aside from your dad, your mom was your absolute favorite hero, remember that?”
She nods, a smile finally appearing on her cherubic face.
“Don’t underestimate yourself, Missy.” You crouch down to her level. “You not having powers doesn’t mean the rest of the class won’t believe you. They know you’re a leader, they look to you not just because you’re Marcus Moreno’s kid but because they believe in you.”
“I knew it was stupid,” she murmurs bashfully, tanned skin brightening as she huffs and folds her arms over her chest.
“Hey, no, none of that. Having doubts or being scared or even jealous is never stupid. It’s perfectly human,” you assure her, her brown eyes searching yours. “In fact, I sometimes feel that way too!”
“Really?” She drops her arms and her pout softens. “You?”
“Of course! Just because I’m an adult doesn’t mean I don’t sometimes doubt myself or feel a little insecure.”
“Like what?” she asks, dark eyes curious and wide.
“Oof, a lot!” Your eyes roll to the ceiling as you think. “I think… one of my biggest doubts and fears is not being a good enough teacher.”
“What?” She gasps, jumping in her seat and eyes narrowing with scary determination to get you to believe that: “You’re an amazing teacher!”
Warmth fills your chest at the sincerity in her voice and eyes. “See!” You cross your arms over your knees, but Missy takes your hand in hers, and you let her, squeezing her smaller hand in yours. “Sometimes, we don’t see ourselves in the same light as others do, and that’s okay. We just need a little reminder every once in a while.”
“Yeah,” she drawls, playing with one of your fingers, “I guess you’re right.”
“I know I’m right.” You nudge her nose gently with a hooked finger and she wrinkles her nose in response. “And this is my reminder for you today: I truly believe you’re capable of doing extraordinary things, Missy. Powers or no powers.”
She grins, nudging your nose just as you had. “And I truly believe you’re the most amazing teacher ever.”
Yeah. Missy Moreno is definitely your favorite student.
“I know.” You ruffle her hair and she grabs your wrist to push you away, laughing.
A loud thud by the entrance of the class brings you to your feet, spinning in place and firmly placing yourself in front of Missy and the sudden intruder—only to find a sheepish Marcus Moreno mid trip and hand raised sheepishly.
“I—ah—sorry, I was going to knock, but the door was opened—” he says, quickly crouching down to pick up the empty rack you set up for the kids to place their backpacks and lunch on. “Sorry.”
Missy lets out an exasperated, “Dad!” while your form relaxes (replaced by a new tension squeezing your chest).
Clearing his throat, he straightens up, raising a hand in greeting and an apology. “Sorry,” he murmurs again.
“It’s fine, Mr. Moreno.” You offer him a warm smile, ignoring the little butterflies in your tummy. Turning to Missy, you catch a very much exasperated eye roll that only makes you stifle your laughter behind your hand. “Come on, Missy, get your things.”
She eyes her dad for a moment longer before nodding and hurrying to her table shared with Karina at the front of the classroom, a table away from your desk.
“Thanks for letting Missy stay.” He scratches the back of his head, his other hand resting on his hip as he shifts his weight. “Paperwork took me longer than I would have liked.”
“A hero’s work is never done, huh?” you joke, keeping your voice light.
He cracks a charming smile, the one that always seems to melt your insides into a pile of goo. “Unfortunately.”
Your eyes move to Missy, who is slowly putting her things away, organizing them and reorganizing. Her head tilts slightly when the conversation between you and Marcus pauses, dark eyes trying to inconspicuously look over her shoulder to get a glimpse of you and her father. Her eyes catch yours and widen in surprise before she snaps her head forward, pretending to be busy but not hurrying her movements, either—much to your amusement. What is she doing?
Shaking your head and returning your gaze to Marcus, you’re met by brown eyes full of exasperated fondness, an apologetic smile on his handsome features.
“I heard about what happened,” he suddenly says. “About some of our agents raiding your home.”
“Oh!” You blink owlishly, embarrassment crawling under your skin—what else did he know? “You heard about that?”
“Read about it in the report, actually.” He tilts his head, scratching the stubble on his cheek, and you press your lips together to keep from questioning what else he read in case they didn’t add the part about you losing your cool. “I have agents on their way to help clean up any mess they might’ve made and to replace anything they might’ve broken.”
This man is truly a god sent, isn’t he? “Mr. Moreno, I appreciate it, thank you. You didn’t have to do that.”
“I wanted to,” he assures you, firm and kind. “It’s our fault you got caught in the cross hairs.” His eyes fall away from yours, and again, he shifts his weight on his feet as he pushes his glasses back up over the bridge of his nose.
You wait for a moment, but when he doesn’t look back up at you, you let out a little defeated sigh, disappointed that the conversation is over. Not that you want to keep talking about agents ruining your home, but you like listening to Mr. Moreno speak. He has the softest, most reassuring voice that makes you feel safe in his presence; like he trusts you.
“Well, again, thank you,” you start as you make your way over to the plastic bin full of craft supplies on your desk and are about to take them to the closet you store them in when warm fingers brush against yours, taking the box from your hands. “Oh!”
“Let me help you with that,” he says, soft and rich, warm eyes full of kindness staring into yours.
“Thank you,” you murmur—and he’s close, not like when he was sitting across from you as you introduced yourself to him and showed him the first progress report of the year, but close enough that you can see the glints of black and umber in his eyes, tips of his shoes barely touching yours, and a small box keeping your chests from brushing against each other.
“It’s no trouble. Least I could do.” He flashes another smile, and again, your heart melts and you have to physically keep yourself from biting your lips by swiping your twitching fingers over your mouth, eyes darting away from him.
Clearing your throat, you say, “Let me show you where I need them.”
He nods and follows after you, keeping a fair distance even after you point at the empty space the bin was in earlier that day.
“Thank you,” you say—again! all you do is thank the man!—as he puts away the bin and closes the closet doors for you.
“Of course.”
“Okay, I’m finally ready!” Missy announces, a little too loud for it to not to be intentional.
“We should start heading out, then.” His hand settles on Missy’s head, steering her towards the door. “Again, thank you for letting Missy stay—really saved me.”
“It was no trouble at all.” You wave him away, following after them to walk them out.
“That was painful to watch,” you swear you hear her whisper to her dad, and he shushes her.
Did you imagine it?
“Ah, actually, Mr. Moreno, may I speak to you for a moment?”
“Of course!” He pats Missy’s shoulder. “Go on ahead, I’ll meet you down the hall.”
She narrows her eyes at him, as if trying to communicate something to him before nodding and walking off. “See you Monday, teach!”
“Bye, Missy! Have a good weekend!” You wait until she’s completely out of ear shot, or at least on the other side of the hall to address your worries to Mr. Moreno. “Missy told me about what happened on that spaceship and I—I’m worried. I know what Missy is capable of, trust me, I know. She’s—extraordinary. A good kid.” You bite your lip, wrapping your cardigan tighter around your frame, the cold wind brushing against your exposed skin. “But I—I can’t help but worry either way. I know it’s not my place—”
“No, no!” He steps forward and a little to the side, blocking the wind from hitting you. “Thank you for caring so much about Missy. I—I always feel grateful knowing you care about her and that she’s in capable hands at school.”
You release a breath you didn’t know you had been holding, a huge weight off your shoulder now that you know you’re not stepping on his toes.
“I’m worried too, if I’m being honest.” His eyes slide to Missy waiting for him at the end of the hall where she’s rocking on her feet, and you follow his gaze, both of you smiling when she glances up and waves. “She’s headstrong. Once her mind is made up, you can’t stop her.” He chuckles, the sound low and a little self-deprecating.
“I would never ask you to change her mind,” you affirm gently. “All I ask, is that you look after her—not that you don’t already do, because I know you do, but it’s… different out there.”
He nods resolutely. “I promise.”
“You need to stay safe out there, too, Mr. Moreno. I can’t keep having two heart attacks in one day,” you tease, leaning against the metal doorframe.
“I promise you, we’ll stay safe,” he says it so seriously, eyes locked on yours that it practically steals your breath away. “Missy and I—we’ll protect each other.”
“Like you always do,” you hum into the space between you.
“Like we always do,” he reaffirms, just as soft.
“Good.” You stare at one another for a beat longer than necessary, but you look away first, straightening up. “Have a good evening, Mr. Moreno. Drive safe.”
“You too.”
You watch him walk away, waving each time he looks back until he reaches Missy. They wrap an arm around each other and with one final wave, they disappear into the stairwell.
Smiling, you head back inside to get your things.
Tumblr media
“So,” Missy starts as they climb down the stairs, “did you ask?”
“No.” He sighs, bracing himself for the ten year old judgement (he can’t wait to see what her pre-teen and teenage judgement looks like, probably even more brutal).
“What?” She pulls away from him as they reach the final step. “No? What do you mean ‘no’? That was the perfect timing!”
He knows it was perfect timing! There were many perfect moments that he could’ve asked if you were doing anything this Saturday, but no! He just had to get distracted by the curves of your lashes and the way your eyes glinted under the setting sun and how your nose wrinkled when the cold air kissed your nose and—“Next time.”
“A deal is a deal, dad!” She reminds him, staring up at him with those eyes that used to remind him so much of her mother, but now they’re becoming less and less like hers and more her own. “You said you would!”
“I know, I know,” he whines in mock defeat. “I just… what if she doesn’t like me?” It’s a legitimate worry, one that has only grown since Missy started encouraging him to ask you out.
“Seriously, dad?” Her hand connects with her forehead. “It’s so obvious! And besides, how will you ever know if you don’t ask?”
“I guess you’re right. Any ideas?”
She cups her chin, thinking. Her eyes brighten. “I do have a plan!”
“And what exactly is this plan?” he asks, a little wary of what his precocious ten year old could possibly come up with.
“Just trust me!” She grins up at him and wraps her arm around his waist, tugging him along with her towards the car. “With my plan we’ll win her over completely!”
bestie do you really think it's funny to make me cry?
OK WHERE DO I START AUJHUJHDSDUJHFV
deep bre-INCOHERENT SCREAMING
That's it. that's all I have to say.
THEY PASSED THE CHILD PROTECTION BILL I'M GONNA BE CRYING IN A CORNER IF ANYONE NEEDS ME
All those shadowhunters who ran back to Idris I hope you starve to death there. have fun!
Anjali is so awesome OH MY GOD I LOVE HER ALREADY
Rafael is THAT kid I see...it suits him so well.
It had been two very long years stuck in this small office room. But every time Alec saw the way David giggled when Lexi called her father Jalapeno poppers or some other equally ridiculous name, Alec knew it was worth all the trouble.
THIS OMG I'M NOT OK
Alec wondered if that’s why so many leaders before him had been awful. It was easy to be a bad leader. But it took effort to be a good one.
This is so true...I'm so proud of him...
Dani...bestie THAT IMMORTALITY CRISIS WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME. I know it's gonna happen but I was having a very good day. why do you hurt me in such ways... (I'm pretty sure my family thinks I'm mentally unstable after the way I screamed reading)
“Anjali,” Diego sighed. “What have I told you about doors?”
“Knock them down?”
“I said knock on them!” Diego corrected, shaking his head. “Not knock them down!”
I'm in love.
HUHYUHKSDYKFVYUFVYU ALEC'S CONSUL VOICE I'M SCREAMING
SIMON BESTEST!! HIM SORTING THE STUDENTS INTO THESE GROUPS I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! AND ANJALI BESTIE GOOD LUCK AT BEATING THE SEELIES!! (good luck with stealing the weapons)
well, Rafael do you perhaps have a little crush? (Grammarly ik I'm writing in lowercase stfu)
ok ok I know this is pretty sad but every time someone gives Magnus or Alec the "you haven't talked to him yet?" look I start laughing-
ALEC'S SO CLUELESS ABOUT MAX AND DAVID I CANT-
“So, you are just going to leave me here and go to York then?” Max demanded now; all puppy dog eyes. “Like my mom left me at the academy?”
Yeah. He took the news a little too well.
MAX PLAYING THE ADOPTED CARD I LOVE HIM SO MUCH
“Is it because you don’t like me?” Max pouted again. “Like my mom…Who left me all alone.”
“You can’t play the adopted card with me, you lil shit,” Rafael laughed. “I’m adopted too.”
I'M SO IN LOVE LEAVE ME ALONE
AWW MAX SEEING THE INSTITUTE AND IMMEDIATELY GOING "David would love this" ISTG THIS KID I LOVE HIM SO MUCH
“Weren’t you listening to a podcast on Mayan Civilization during breakfast?” Alec raised an eyebrow.
“Bapak said it’s historically accurate!” Rafe argued.
“Bapak is not that old!” Alec countered.
“Maybe he is,” Max said, analyzing the paintings on the walls. “Maybe you don’t know it.”
“Excuse me, I know how old my husband is,” Alec said indignantly.
“Then where are the receipts dad?” Max asked. “Show us the receipts!”
Where are the receipts, Alec? EXACTLY!
THANK GOD SOMEONE ELSE HAS CAUGHT ON TO MAX'S VERY OBVIOUS CRUSH
“I think he likes David,” Rafe whispered.
“Of course he does,” Alec whispered back. Why were they whispering? “David is a sweet boy.”
“No. I think he ‘likes him’ likes him,” Rafael giggled.
Alec looked at his son sharply. “But-He is..Da..They are children!”
“You’ve never heard a childhood crush?” Rafe grinned.
“No, I was too busy…studying,” Alec sniffed.
“That’s not what I heard,” Rafael bit his lip. “I heard you had a thing for boys in motorcycle jackets.”
“Okay that’s it! You are not allowed to hang out at Hotel Dumort anymore,” Alec said.
Really Alec? Studying? REALLY???
MAX AND RAFE RACING TO THE TRAINING ROOM!!!
the reference to the infernal devices...I'M GONNA KILL THE ALREADY DEAD STARKWEATHERS! I'M ABOUT TO DO SOME NECROMANCY SHIT TO BRING THOSE FUCKERS BACK JUST TO KILL THEM SLOWLY
Hugs max it's gonna be ok buddy.
In that moment, Alec remembered all the talks.
He remembered how his mother had lectured Izzy about not going out alone late at night, but she hadn’t said anything to Jace or Alec.
He remembered the way Jem spoken quietly to Mina in soft Mandarin about how people might call her names, but he hadn’t said anything to Kit.
He remembered the way Julian had told Ty to be careful about kissing his boyfriend in public, but he hadn’t said anything to Dru.
I hate this so damn much. I hate it. It sucks how there will always be people who will be targeted for being born the way they are. Whether it be skin color, sexuality, body type, or anything, people will always fucking talk and make the world unsafe for certain people just because they aren't generic male cishets. If you're a girl you're in danger. If you're a POC you're in danger, If you're neurodivergent you're in danger. If you're a member of the LGBTQ community you're in danger. If you're disabled you're in danger. If you're part of any minority you're in danger. If you dare to be different you're in danger. Fuck people. I'm a queer POC female and it's scary. I don't want to be always checking my surroundings when I'm out. I shouldn't have to feel this scared walking out of my own house but I do and it sucks. Ok, I feel like I'm derailing from the main point here.
Sorry for that just got really heated for a second there.
NO NOT THE NIGHTMARE. BABY NO
DAVID MY CHILD!! OMG, HE'S GONNA TAKE UP ARCHERY SOMEONE HOLD ME WHILE I CRY!
“This is who you are,” David said, his voice oddly soft now. Softer than usual. “And you’re beautiful.”
Alec blinked at that.
“Blue,” David said quickly. “I meant you’re blue. Uh, yes.”
BESTIE I SAW WHAT YOU SAID THERE. WE ALL DID
Also, alec sitting outside max's room...IM GONNA-
“David is in there,” Alec whispered. “I just wanted to…check…if everything was okay.”
“Alexander, are you spying on our child?” Magnus demanded. “Without me???”
“What? No! I-”
“Move over!” Magnus sank down next to him. “What are they saying? Are they kissing?”
“WHAT? They are not kissing!” Alec said in alarm. “Wait. Are they???”
He couldn’t hear anything now. Alec panicked.
“I haven’t talk to the kids about kissing yet,” Magnus pointed out. “We can’t talk to Max without talking to Rafael first.”
“Wait. Is Rafael kissing people???”
“Rafael is not kissing people,” Rafael replied as he walked past them to the kitchen. “Also, you guys are shit at whispering.”
Alec rolled his eyes at him and turned to Magnus. “It’s stressful enough that we need to talk about racism in the shadow world. Now we need to talk about kissing??”
“And other stuff,” Magnus chuckled.
Alec groaned into Magnus’ shoulder. “By the angel. Fine. We’ll just tell them there is no kissing. Until they are 30.”
“Hypocrite,” Rafael coughed into his hand as he walked back to the table with a bag of chips.
THIS WHOLE SCENE OH MY GOD.
And srsly alec? 30? really? whips out the extract "kissed" from cassie's website According to my files here-
“And David?”
“Yes, sir?”
“The bedroom door stays open from now on.”
David blinked, his cheeks pink. “I…What?”
“Door stays open,” Alec said, lowering his voice, just a register. “Is that understood?”
AYY ALEC DAD MODE YUCDUHDFHFUHJIUHC THIS IS SO AMAZING IM GONNA SCREAM
Alec advising David with the bow is so close to my heart...IDK WHY IT JUST IS
That conversation...PEOPLE FUCKING SUCK I HOPE HUMANS GO EXTINCT BECAUSE I SURE AM READY TO DIE SO LET'S TAKE THE EARTH DOWN-
“Why don’t shadowhunters have acne?”
"What?" Alec blinked.
“Their skin is like so freaking perfect and smooth and they can just freaking go through puberty without a one freaking pimple and don’t even get me started on the freaking dimples and then-”
Magnus started laughing. Alec felt a little confused.
EXACTLY MY THOUGHTS !!!!! THAT DAMN ANGEL BLOOD
That part about how we normalize these little things which are actually hurtful...I didn't realize that. I guess we really do, huh? This just made me want to be more careful with others and if I feel others do this with me, to stop them and correct them.
I loved this chapter so much. You're such a great writer.
I wanted to share something of my own now!! I FINALLY GOT MY COPY FOR RWARB!!!! I told my parents it was a thriller about how the first son and the prince forge a friendship and discover secrets about the government and the monarchy-
The place I bought it from sent me a very cute bookmark. It's a pride bookmark and it's just my first ever pride merch and I'm close to tears. Let's just say my family isn't the most accepting so this bookmark's really precious to me
Tumblr media
Sorry, the quality isn't the best. I was in a hurry. It's almost 4 am now I'm gonna try and sleep (I'm gonna reorganize my bookshelf). See you on Tuesday!!
Thank you so much. I love reading your comments. They are so honest and full of life. You are going to LOVE rwrb. It's such a good book and it's so romantic and raw and perfect. Lmao about your parents. What they don't know can't hurt them ;) And I loooooooooove your bookmark. Be gay. Do crime.
Remus and Sirius picking Julian up from hockey practice (if you want to obviously)
THIS IS AMAZING YES IM IN LOVE WITH THIS
“You didn’t have to come, you know that?” Remus held Sirius’s hand as he drove to the rink.
“I know. But I wanted too, I love your little brother”
“He adores you” Remus smiled at him softly.
“Eyes on the road, l'amour” Sirius laughed.
“I think a second off the road going 10 miles per hour while pulling into a basically empty parking lot to look into my boyfriends eyes, isn’t too bad” Remus argues but still pulled his eyes back to the road.
He pulled into a spot easily and set his hand on the door handle, before he could pull it he reached over and grabbed the front of Sirius’s, well his, sweatshirt and pulled Sirius’s lips to his.
Sirius hummed in surprise but kissed back quickly.
“What was that for?” He smiled when they pulled away.
“What? I can’t kiss my boyfriend?” Remus teased.
“Oh you definitely can” Sirius kissed him again. “Put I want to see your brother”
They got out of the car quickly and walked into the small ice rink.
“REMUS” they heard a voice shout before Julian came barreling towards his brother.
He collided with his legs almost knocking both of them over but Sirius grabbed them before they could fall.
“Hey Jules” Remus laughed. Julian let go and hugged Sirius too.
“Hi Sirius”
“Salut, Julian” Sirius hugged him back.
“Woah” a small voice gasped.
“You’re Sirius Black” A young girl with 2 French braids and a hockey bag on her shoulder gasped.
“Hi” Sirius said shyly, moving the slightest bit closer to Remus. All of a sudden 20 kids where swarming him and Remus. Asking for autographs or pictures. Shouting out questions.
“You’re the best player in the whole NFL” a little boy gasped.
The girl from before tugged on his arm, pulling him down to whisper in his ear. “I’m going to be just like you when I’m older. Except date a boy. Because you said it’s okay to date a girl” she told him.
“It is completly okay. I’m sure you’ll be a better hockey player than me” he beamed.
“That’s not possible, no ones better than you” a boy argued.
“Especially not a girl” someone else stated.
“Hey, you better be careful. Girls are as strong as boys. She can turn around and beat you up without any effort.” Sirius warned him.
“You’ll be sorry when I’m a famous hockey player and your working in an office” she told him.
Sirius laughed. “That’s very true”
“I want to be just like you when I’m older” a little boy looked at Remus like he was his favorite person in the whole world, Sirius would have to agree.
“You get to heal the players and that’s so cool”
“It is pretty cool” Remus smiled.
“Alright, alright. Give them some space.” An older voice called out. The sea of children parted like the Red Sea to let a woman with curly orange hair through.
“Remus Lupin” she hugged the ex hockey player.
“Hi Coach Kinter” he greeted his childhood coach.
“Hope this ones not giving you too much trouble” Remus said when he pulled away, ruffling Julians hair.
“He set a mouse loose in the locker room last week”
“Julian Lupin” Remus exclaimed as Sirius burst out laughing.
“It was harmless, and Alec caught it before it got lost” The younger Lupin defended himself.
Remus shook his head, he couldn’t hide the smile that creeped onto his face.
“Well we should get going, but it was nice seeing you again” Remus said goodbye and walked out to the car. Sirius giving his little brother a piggy back ride as Remus carried the heavy hockey bag.
“Can we get ice cream please please please” Julian begged when they got in the car.
“We’re having dinner in an hour.”
“So?” Julian wrinkled his eyebrows together.
“I want ice cream too. Please?” Sirius’s asked him. Pouting his bottom lip.
“Fine” Remus groaned, leaning over and kissing Sirius’s lips, he was really tempted to bite at his pouted lip but remembered that his little brother was in the car.
“What do you want?” He asked, pulling out of the parking lot. And towards the ice cream shop in the small town.
“What are the flavors for today?” The ice cream shop had new flavors everyday.
Sirius pulled out his phone and pulled up the website.
“Chocolate fudge brownie, key lime pie, dirty turtle, blueberry, and salted caramel.” He read off.
“Blueberry” Julian called out.
“Salted caramel” Remus said.
“I’m getting the chocolate fudge brownie”
“Boring” Remus rolled his eyes.
“What?” Sirius asked, mocking offense.
“Chocolate brownie is so basic”
“So is salted caramel” he shot back.
“No because they make their salted caramel diffferent. And you need to try new things” Remus told him.
“Okay Mr. ‘I-get-vanilla-and-sprinkles-everytime-we-go-to-dairy-Queen”
“ITS GOOD” Remus exclaimed.
“SO IS CHOCOLATE AND BROWNIES” Sirius laughed back.
“You get chocolate and brownie blizzard everytime we go to Dairy Queen so you can’t even make fun of me”
“Remus, love. It’s vanilla and sprinkles”
Remus laughed, the car bouncing as they drove through the gravel parking lot of the ice cream parlor.
“You guys want to stay in here and I’ll go order?” He asked.
“Blueberry right Jules” Julian nodded from the backseat.
Remus leaned over and kissed Sirius quickly before getting out and going to order.
“When’s your next game?” Jules asked a few seconds later.
“2 weeks against the Toronto Maple Leafs” he told him.
“Are you going to win?”
“I hope so. They’re a pretty aggressive team but I think we’ve had a good season.”
“Are you going to marry my brother?” He asked out of the blue. Sirius blinked a few times, surprised by the question.
“I- yeah. Yeah, I think I will” he smiled, he had the thought many times. He couldn’t imagine marrying anyone else.
“Cool. Sirius Black will be my uncle.”
“Don’t tell yourself brother I said that though” He looked in the rear view mirror and watched Julian make a zipper motion across his lips.
Remus interrupted when he came back with the ice cream. Handing it out to each of them.
“Want to drive over to the lake and eat” the boys all nodded and enjoyed the scenic drive to an even more scenic view.
They pulled up to the lake and got out, sitting on the shore as they at their ice cream in comfortable silence. Sirius had his head on Remus’s shoulder. He had grown up in busy cities. Views like this were few and far between.
“C'est joli” Sirius said softly, breaking the silence.
“Yeah I guess it is” Remus smiled, the sight of his boyfriend amazed at the view of the lake with trees surrounding it and hills in the background. He leaned down and left a kiss in his hair.
“Are we all done?” Remus asked, looking at all the empty cups.
“Yep” Julian said, tossing his spoon into the lake.
“Absolutely not. Now you have to go get that.” Remus exclaimed.
“But my shoes” Julian looked at him like he was insane.
“I don’t care. Should of thought about that before you littered. Hurry up or your going to end up swimming to get it out.”
Julian grumbled but stepped in the ankle high water to pick up the plastic spoon.
“Go throw it away. And just for that you can throw away ours too” he handed his little brother Sirius and his cups.
Jules rolled his eyes but took them to the trash can anyway. Remus watched him to make sure he actually threw them away.
“You’re a good big brother” Sirius smiled at him, connecting their lips.
“Well thank you” Remus muttered against his lips, deepening it slightly.
“Ewww” Julian exclaimed.
They pulled away, Sirius wiping his lips.
“Ready?” Remus asked, standing up. He reached his hand out and pulled Sirius up. Kissing him again.
“You’re both gross, stop kissing” Julian fake gagged and walked towards the car.
“I love you” Remus told Sirius.
“Love you too”
They linked their hands together as they walked back to the car.
“No one tells mom about this. She’ll have my head” Remus told them. They all nodded.
Remus put his hand on Sirius’s thigh, squeezing lightly as he drove towards his house.
“We’re home” Remus called out as he walked in the house.
“Kitchen” his dad responded.
His mother took one look at them and put her hand on her hip. “Why is Julians mouth blue?”
“Sorry” Remus blushed.
“Dinners in 30 minutes. I expect it all eaten”
“Yes ma’am” they all told her.
@lumosinlove
A lot of this is based off my own hometown because I forgot where Remus is from. Also I love Julian Lupin with my entire heart.
The Apartment: part 5
Tumblr media
▪️for parts 1-4, click here
pairing: Kuroo Tetsurou x fem! reader
rating/warnings: swearing, angst (?)
synopsis: You knew that living with your three best friends, Kuroo, Oikawa, and Bokuto, would be a wild ride. It’s never a dull moment with those three. Let’s just hope you can keep your huge crush on Kuroo a secret when he is only a room away.
a/n: hi friends✨i hope you all are doing well:)) just a friendly reminder to eat something today and stay hydrated 💕 as always, my inbox is open for anything and everything so feel free to reach out:) and the taglist for this fic is still open if you’d like to join✨ okay, enjoy xx
Five: best friends
“Okay do you have all your bags?” You asked. Bokuto nodded, holding a backpack and small suitcase.
“Yes Y/N.”
“And your phone? And your pillow, because I know you hate hotel ones. And-“
“Y/N calm down you’re going into ’mom mode’,” said Kuroo. You rolled your eyes.
“I just wanna make sure he has a good trip.”
“Akaashi will take care of him, don't worry,” smiled Kuroo.
“Do you not want me to have a good trip?” pouted Oikawa. You put your arm around him and smiled.
“Oikawa, I wouldn’t mind if you didn’t come back.” You joked.
“I fucking hate you,” he growled, pushing you away. You laughed and ruffled his hair.
“I love you both okay, now get out of here, Iwa and Akaashi are probably already outside,” you smiled. The four of you gathered for a group hug. Oikawa was off to his mini getaway with Iwa and Bokuto was joining Akaashi for his writers conference. The apartment would be just you and Kuroo.
“Hey, Y/N,” called Bokuto. He pulled you aside and whispered something in your ear.
“Remember what I told you.”
You sighed, remembering well what Bokuto had told you those days ago. You nodded.
“Farewell my lovely apartment! You two better not burn the place down while I’m gone,” said Oikawa.
“No promises,” smiled Kuroo. He pushed Oikawa out the door as Bokuto followed.
“Bye you two, we love you!” You cheered. Kuroo shut the door behind Oikawa and Bokuto, leaving you alone with him.
“You act like they’re never coming back,” laughed Kuroo.
“Not my fault I’ll miss them. I don’t remember the last time I went more than a week without them,” you explained. Kuroo nodded.
“Wanna grab some food after class?” Asked Kuroo. Your face felt warm.
“Uh yeah that sounds good.” You and Kuroo both had a lecture together today for your marketing course.
“Just give me 10 minutes and we can head to class,” you said. Kuroo nodded. You went inside your room and saw that Oikawa had left something on your bed. You picked it up and it read: “I suggest you use this before it expires”. You turned the card over, and saw that it was a coupon for 10% off a purchase at Party City. You groaned and threw the card away.
“Dickhead,” you mumbled.
“Who, me?” said Kuroo. You jumped.
“Kuroo oh my god you have to stop sneaking up on me like that,” you ordered. Kuroo laughed and sat down on your bed.
“Hurry up I don’t wanna be late.” You sighed and grabbed your jacket and shoes from your closet and slipped them on.
“Fine then let’s go.”
~
You and Kuroo walked a couple blocks to campus. Your lecture hall wasn’t too far away.
“A 3 hour lecture never gets easier,” you sighed. Kuroo patted your shoulder.
“Come on Y/N, don’t you just love getting all that knowledge thrown at you.” You rolled your eyes.
“Marketing is boring, even a nerd like you could agree,” you joked.
“Okay fair,” smiled Kuroo. The two of you reached the lecture hall and took a seat next to each other.
“Hi Kuroo! Mind if I sit here?” a voice said. You turned to see a girl standing next to Kuroo.
“Oh Calie, hi, yeah sure,” said Kuroo. The girl joyfully sat down next to Kuroo, causing you to clench your fists.
“Uh Calie, this is my friend Y/N, Y/N this is Calie, we have organic chemistry together,” explained Kuroo. The girl flashed you a dazzling smile. Great, she's pretty and smart. You shook her hand firmly.
“Wait aren’t you guys roommates too? That must be so fun living with someone like Kuroo,” giggled Calie. You gave her a sarcastic smile. I already hate this bitch.
“Yeah we’ve been friends forever so I definitely get my fair share of Kuroo.”
“Well you’re probably so sick of him, mind if I borrow him after the lecture?” She asked. Calie wrapped her hand around Kuroo’s bicep. You had to stop yourself from beating the shit out of her.
“Well actually-“ you began.
“Sure that sounds fun. You don’t mind right, Y/N?” said Kuroo. Is he being serious right now?
“So I’m supposed to grab dinner by myself?” You whispered, without thinking. Kuroo’s eyes widened. Calie gasped.
“You can come with us! I’d hate to leave you all alone,” She smiled.
“Yeah come with us,” said Kuroo.
“No no it’s fine, you two have fun. I’d rather be alone anyway,” you muttered. Before Kuroo could reply, your professor had walked in and began his lecture.
~
Your lecture felt longer than normal. Probably because all you could focus on was Calie’s giggles as she whispered with Kuroo throughout the whole 3 hours. Kuroo was always good with the ladies. His confident nature caused girls to be drawn towards him. Yes, you liked him too but you liked all of him, not just the surface level of Kuroo.
You tried to contain your annoyance with Calie and Kuroo. It was obvious she was flirting with him.
“See you next week,” said your professor as he wrapped up his lecture. You got up from your seat and began packing up your things. You didn’t look at Kuroo and headed right out the door.
You began walking back to your apartment when you heard Kuroo call after you.
“Wait Y/N-chan!” You turned around to face him.
“Are you sure you don’t want to hang with me and Calie? She’s really nice once you get to know her,” he said. You almost rolled your eyes.
“No it’s fine. I promised I’d FaceTime Oikawa now anyway,” you lied. Kuroo raised an eyebrow.
“Well if you say so. I’ll grab dinner with you tomorrow, okay?”
“Yeah sure. Make sure you have your key to the apartment or else I’m locking you out,” you said. Kuroo laughed and nodded.
“Bye Y/N!” cheered Calie. You gave her a wave and watched as Kuroo ran back towards her.
-
You walked back to your apartment, upset. Kuroo had every right to hang out with other girls but that didn’t mean it didn’t hurt. It was just another reminder that Kuroo might not share the same feelings as you.
The apartment felt weird being so empty. All dark and quiet. You threw your keys on the counter and plopped onto the couch. You checked your phone and saw a plethora of texts from Oikawa.
You set your phone down and checked in the kitchen for anything worth eating. You weren’t in the mood to go out anymore.
Rice. We have rice. Well, rice it is.
You took out the rice cooker and began to prepare your sad dinner.
Why didn’t I just go with them?
As the rice cooked, you sat down on the couch and turned on the TV. You put on ‘Gilmore Girls’, wishing your friends were there to watch it with you.
~
It was late. Close to 11pm. Kuroo still wasn’t home. You laid on the couch, basking in your loneliness. A little dramatic yes but you hated being without your friends. It was a weird concept that they had friends beside you.
You heard keys jingle outside the door and you felt a wave of comfort come over you, knowing it had to be Kuroo. You got up from the couch and peaked at the door.
“I was starting to wonder what happened to you…” your voice trailed off when you saw that Kuroo wasn’t alone.
“Hey Y/N! Oh my gosh your apartment is so cute!” said Calie. Your jaw dropped and you looked over at Kuroo.
Your expression had to be screaming: “are you fucking kidding me right now!?”
“Oh uh thanks,” you muttered.
“Is it cool if Calie stays for a bit? Her roommates are having people over and she doesn’t know them too well,” explained Kuroo. Hmm I wonder what that’s like.
“You don’t have to ask me, it’s your apartment too,” you said plainly. Kuroo raised a brow.
“Just checking…”
Calie walked around your small apartment, admiring all the decorations that you had up.
“Aw isn’t this the cutest photo!” She said. She picked up a picture of you and Kuroo. It was when you had gotten dressed up together to take graduation pictures. Your smile was the brightest it’s ever been. Holding your diploma as Kuroo wrapped his arm around you. In the background of the photo you could see a faint image of Oikawa and Bokuto.
“Yeah I love that picture,” Kuroo smiled. Kuroo took the photo from Calie’s hand and looked at it.
“Best friends, right?” He looked at you. Your heart sank.
“Yup, best friends,” you whispered with a dull smile. Kuroo smiled and showed Calie to his room. You tried not to react. You walked over to your room, locked the door, and curled up onto your bed.
Is best friends all we are ever gonna be?
The Dragon and her Knight
a/n: before I start this. This will be my first time writing a short story that I thought of. So please help with feedback!as well! its very long! its been awhile since i wrote something like years so please bear with me! remember yall are loved!
Tenya x Female!reader
“We will be family day tomorrow remember tell all your family to come so we can all get to know each other.” Aizawa said
All the class groans
“Hey I'm just the messenger. Principle Nezu requested it for Class 1-A. So please bring your families. And I understand if some can’t make it. But please request they come. Okay class is over for today. Remember to call to see if they are coming and that it’s all day. Class dismiss”
Everyone started packing up when Shoji approached Y/N.
“Hey y/n you excited for tomorrow?”
“Honestly Sho I am. You will get to see my 3 older siblings and my parents again! They are always so busy with the agency we never see eachother.my father is even taking the day off.”
“That’s amazing! I would love to meet your parents again!”
You smile remembering how Shoji met your parents when you fell ill during Flu season and your family came and visited you while Shoji took care of you.
While walking towards the door someone bumped into you hard as you fell to the floor.
“Y/N?! Are you okay?” Shoji asked while helping you up
“Yeah Im fine sho now who the fuck bumped into me that hard ?”
“I must have not seen you there L/N. I figured because you're not up to my level?” Iida said.
“Guess who still hasn't learned how to fix that cursing problem you have L/N? Even as kids you used to curse like a sailor. You really have no manners do you?”
Smirking you said
“I may have a cursing problem Iida. But god knows I don’t have a stick up my ass now do I? And from what I hear you're just mad from your actions.”
“Now why would I be mad?”
“My family is all coming tomorrow and your precious rich daddy can’t take a day off of work now could he?” You say tauntingly
“For your information all my family is coming along tomorrow as well. Even my brother.”
“Ah the laid back Iida is coming too! Wow must be an accomplishment?! Here let me give you the pity award” You say sarcastically
Tenya growled and walked away while saying
“See your family tomorrow L/N. Tomorrow will be an interesting day.”
You rolled your eyes and walked to your dorm with Shoji.
“Tell me why again you and Tenya are always at each other’s throats about y’all’s family’s? “ Shoji says
“You see love. Me and Iida grew up together and were the best of friends. We did everything together from helping both of our older brothers with their suits to eating family dinners together. “ you say while arriving at your dorm and unlocking it
“Our older brothers were best of friends and so did my sister and brother got along with Iidas older brother. We were always neck in neck in school and Quirk power. Until one day my older brother Kyo (I’m just gonna name the siblings and if that’s your name I’m so sorry😭) was top of his class and was beating Iidas brother in both hero work and school wise. It was never more than a friendly rivalry between them but our families took it seriously. Iidas family found out that Kyo was excelling faster than Tensie. And surely enough my brother graduated top of his class and knowing how to control his quirk.”
Going into your dorm you set your backpack down and Shoji did the same. Starting to change into normal clothes while shoji did as well. It was so common for shoji left clothes because he always slept over.
While changing you continued
“So when graduation came along both of our families decided to have dinner with each other before having our own big parties  separately. While eating dinner at Kyos and Tensies favorite restaurant our families started to compare our brother's work and every time they tried to one up each other until finally Iidas' family said “You know what? Our sons don’t need to hang out with your kind. We are better than you all and our Agency and money proves it. You don’t have enough money to raise 4 Children! Ha you guys are low lives we will never associate with again.” According to Kyo, Athena and Laxus
Tensie defended us and tried to apologize but it didn’t slide with my parents. We left and ever since we have been rivals. We were never the richest like them. We worked for our big agency. My father and Kyo run the Agency.
It has been a rivalry between us as well. That’s why I study for long hours and as well practice my Quirk with Kyo Athena and Laxus when they come around to visit or present. They all graduated top number one. I want to do that as well.
Iida is just a reminder from my past that tamiles like them exist. They are born into riches while we work for ours. I can never forgive his family for what they said to mine. You know how much I love them. My family is everything to me. We might have arguments and disagreements about my future and the agency but at the end of the day they are my headache to deal with and honestly I don’t mind.” You say smiling and looking at Shoji
“But you do remember that time you lost a dare and kissed Tenya that one night I thought for sure you were over this rivalry. I swear every time I bring it up-“
You cut him off by throwing a pillow at him
“STOPPPPPP WE DON'T TALK ABOUT IT! IT WAS A STUPID DARE IT MEANT NOTHING!!!”
He laughs and says
“SUREEEE you came back a squealing mess and so unsure of your feelings that night to my room.”
I sighed and looked at the grown
“You know I can’t love him. My family wouldn’t approve and you know they are my world.”
“But n/n you need to realize that it’s your future. And your love. You love him don’t you.”
Sadly nodding
“I do. But he hates me. He doesn’t see me as a potential lover. He sees me as a rival he needs to crush because his family says so. My family wanted me to have that mentality as well. But for the love of fuck we held hands growing up and he gave me flowers because he thought it would go pretty un my hair.”
You say while walking to a small box of memories and pulling up photos of Tenya and you as children and dried flowers you pressed.
“I’ll just love from afar Sho.”
He nods and pulls you into a warm hug.
“Remember bestie I’m here for you. Anytime anywhere and if I have to knock some sense into Iida when he’s mean to you. Even if I don’t like hitting my classmates I will do it for you.”
Hugging tighter you said
“Thank you really bestie thank you.”
“Now let’s get to studying. We need to review for next week's test. But we can listen to music and dance around as well.” You said smiling while pulling away from the hug
Shoji nods and grabs his work while you turn up the music.
——time skip to next day brought to you by my raging headache and wanting to eat as well my spelling errors———————-
“Hey y’all made it!” You said running towards your family
“Hell yeah we did we miss your stupid face!” Laxus said while hugging you
“Haha I miss your dumb face as well.”
You said while pulling away from the hug
“Hi mom hi dad “ you said smiling and hugging both
“Hi my love, how are you? Are you eating well? Not forcing yourself too much are you? And Shoji, where is he?” Mom said in a hurry
“Women, she will never understand you. Calm down, I'm sure they are fine. Right love?” Dad says
“Yes dad I am, don't worry mom I’m okay I’m healthy and breathing no I’m not giving myself too much and Shoji is just with his parents In his room before we meet up in class for the activities.” I say while looking over to see Athena and Kyo walking our way.
“Tell me again you sleep deprived child why are we here again? Family day was eject a thing back when we went to school” Kyo said while leaning into a hug
“Nice to see you too Kyo and I don’t know honestly. Guess to get closer. Dawg we've been through so much shit together as a class I think In principle eyes we need to like to know each other on a deep level I guess.” You say while pulling away
“Well beats me honestly it gives us time to relax with you and spend time with our small child we raised now come here and give your sister a hug.” Athena said while giving you a bone crushing hug
“Look at her now she was Bitching the whole way saying she was hungry and didn’t want to relive her U.A. memories. Now she’s hugging you.” Kyo said while wrapping his arm around Laxus.
We all laughed when we heard
“I see you still have a cursing problem L/N. You haven’t changed since U.A.” Tenie said
“Well you see Engine arms we love to keep it real with the family and no filter who do we need to please with our manners? Now you can just simply ignore our “vulgar language”now can you?” Kyo said tauntingly
There was a dead silent between them when Tensie said
“I’m just fucking with you Kyo. How you been, haven’t seen you in months brother.” Tensie said while hugging Kyo laughing.
“I’ve been good! traveling to America for hero work and Singapore. How are you?”
“Even since the accident I’ve been in my wheelchair but I’m still helloing the old man with work at the agency. Mister and Misses L/n hope you guys are well. “ Tensie said
My parents simply nodded there head with a straight face
“The Devil Dragon herself. How are controlling your powers going?” Tensie said to me
“I’ve gotten better. Athena has shown me ways to control them better and so has Laxus and Kyo at times.”
“Now that’s good! I say take better points from Athena. They don’t give her that name for nothing. Now do they?” Tensie says flirty to Athena like who simply rolled her eyes and said
“ in your dreams Iida” while smirking
“Ah so I’ll dream of it tonight.” Tensie said and laughed
Which left Athena a blushing mess
Before Tensie can talk again I hear
“Son, why did you wander off again?! We told you to meet us at the Classroom.”  Mister Iida said while approaching us
“Yeah Tensie, we thought you got lost?” Tenya said as well
“I'm a fine father. I was just saying hello to Kyo and his family. And how could I get lost Tenya I came here to school. I can only go so far with my wheelchair.” Tensie said
Our family locked eyes and said
“Ah The L/N family I’m so surprised they let you children come to this school after your first son.” Mister Iida said
“Well I have you know Iida, my daughter and Son graduated top number one in their class as well. And our last daughter is not too far behind. I hear from Eraser that she’s number one in her class. And her Quirk is more lasting and controlling than anyone’s” my father said while stepping up
“You see Tenya isn’t too far behind and I’m positive he will beat your daughter. And her devil form.” Mister Iida said while giving me a side eye
I rolled my eyes and grabbed my dads hand
“Come on dad. Let’s go do the activities and see around.”
“Okay love let’s go.” He said not even saying nothing to the Iidas while I spoke up to Tenya
“Keep your father on a damn leash or i'll send him to a nursing home.” While bumping into him harshly
[time skip]
After a day of fun activities and hanging out with Shoji and his parents everyone decided to meet up in class to have the introduction part over with.
While everyone introduced their family my name came up.
“Y/n your turn “ Aizawa said
While dragging my parents and siblings up there I said
“Hey guys you know me Y/N I am the youngest of 4. There is my brother Kyo you may know as “The Fire Dragon” he is the oldest. Then there is Athena who y’all may know as “The Wind Dragon” who is second oldest. Then there is Laxus who you may know as “The Thunder dragon” and lastly me who happens to be “the devil dragon” us 4 beautiful babies came from our mother Lilac and our father Ivan. Together we all run Dragon Slayer Industry. Any questions?”
Someone spoke up and said
“Why does your name end with dragon?”
Kyo spoke up and said
“When we activate our Quirk our facial features slowly change into a dragon form. We saw that in the patterns of myself maturing into my Quirk along with everyone. You see, our cheek has scales at times when we use our quirk and Wings as well but only if we are fully using our powers. It differs for Y/N tho. Due to the fact her transformation is more lengthy and more levels towards her dragon form. She posses our strongest form of Dragon Slayer which is Devil power.”
I looked down and smiled when my dad speaks up
“She’s the youngest of our 4 children but we love her as much as we love our 3 eldest. They all happen to be our pride and Joy of Dragon Slayer industry.”
We all look up and dad and he gave us a soft smile
After everyone introduces their families and explains their quirks, Principle Nezu stands on Aizawas shoulder and speaks.
“All of the Families and students meet up in the common room of The dorm we are having karaoke night with the families!”
Me and Athena locked eyes and smiled
While Kyo and Laxus groaned and sat their heads on both mine and Athena's shoulders.
“Awwww what’s wrong Lawx? You don’t wanna perform?” I say while scratching his head
“No, because we don’t sing well, you and Thena always sing better than us.” He mumbled into my shoulder
“I mean that’s true but we know our old school songs don’t we Laxus?” Kyo said optimistically while wrapping his arms around Athena's neck
“You guys legit screamed Drivers License with me and Y/n when it came out. What makes y’all think y’all can’t sing?” Athena says while getting up and following the crowd to the common room.
“Did you really sign the driver's license with your sister Kyo?” Tensie said while his family behind him
“Hell yeah I did. It’s manly to scream with your sisters in the car about a breakup song. And I love them too much as well.” Kyo said proudly
“AWWWWWW you love us?!” Me and Athena gushed
“Shut up you guys” kyo says while pushing us
We both laughed and look at tensie
“What song are you planning to sing?” Athena asked
“Well hopefully a duet with my brother but if not if you want I can do a duet with you?” Tensie said
Athena blushed and mumbled
“Yeah sure.”
I smiled and quickly looked at Tenya who was just smiling at his brother and kept quite along with his parents.
“Are y’all planning to all sing together at least one song? “ Tensie ask us
“HELL YEAH WE ARE! “Laxus yelled happily
“We already have a song in mind. We relate to it too much so we might sing that one!”
We all nodded in agreement and arrived at the common room. It was big enough for the karaoke machine that was hooked to the t.v.
We all sat down Iidas family not far from us and Shoji's family right near us. Me and Shoji smiled and shared snacks while everyone performed.
So many performances went on From Sero and Ojiro performing
To me and my siblings
To Tensie and Tenya
Me and Shoji as well
And even Tensie and Athena
To even Bakugo surprisingly
Everything was coming to a end when Mina requested After her song finish
“I request Y/N and Iida do a song together to close it off!”
“WHAT?!” Tenya and I screamed
“Yes, that would be an amazing idea!!!” My sister stated
“We second that!” My brothers and Tensie said
All the class started agreeing and even there parents while I looked back at mine and Tenyas parents
“Love. It’s all up to you, we won't be mad at you if you do.” My mom stated
My father was about to say something when kyo covers his mouth
“Go sis. It’s okay. Right old man.” He said forcefully
I sighed and got up and said
“Well are we doing this or not engine legs?”
Tenya nodded and got up as well while we headed to the small stage and we looked at eachother and sighed.
“What song are we gonna do?” Tenya asked quietly
“Well I don’t know we can pick random-“ before I can finish the sentence Tensie and Athena walked up and said
“We already have a song in mind. Here this one” Tensie pointed to “Beauty and the Beast and before you say no one we won’t let you leave so do it good” Athena said smiling and walk off with Tensie
“Let’s get this over with Engine legs. I'm sleepy.” I say while pressing play
The music starts
I sing
Tale as old as time
True as it can be
Barely even friends
Then somebody bends
Unexpectedly
I look at Tenya and he smiled and turned to me
Just a little change
Small to say the least
Both a little scared
Neither one prepared
Both of us at the same while looking at each other
Beauty and the Beast
Ever just the same
Ever a surprise
Ever as before
And ever just as sure
As the sun will rise
Ever just the same
Tenya singed and looked into the crowd
And ever a surprise
Both while Turning to the crowd
Ever as before
While I sing sweetly
And ever just as sure
As the song goes on we became more emotional and more one with the song
Both looking into eachothers eyes and singed
Bitter-sweet and strange
Finding you can change
Learning you were wrong
We scooted closer together
While still singing Tenya puts his hand on my cheek which makes me melt Into his hands and forget anyone was watching. I felt that the world stopped while looking into his blue beautiful eyes.
Tale as old as time
Song as old as rhyme
Beauty and the Beast
Beauty and...
Beauty and the Beast
Singing the last note, Tenya pulled me into a kiss.
It wasn’t a dominant kiss, it was more of a passionate and tender kiss.
Happily kissing back we sadly pulled back for air and realized we were around people.
I turn to see my siblings clapping and jumping around and my mom's smiling face and my dad's soft stern look.
To Tensie clapping and hugging Athena and Iidas parents' shock.
Finally I pulled away from Tenyas grip when I felt being pulled off the stage by Tenya. Dragging me to an empty room.
“Wait Iida what are you doing? Dude let me go” I say while struggling to get out his grip when finally we stopped in an empty study room.
“I'm sorry I pulled you away. It was too much commotion for me to speak to you in private.” Tenya says while looking down
“Why did you kiss me?”
He stayed silent
“Tenya, why did you kiss me?” I say softly
He chuckles and says softly
“I haven’t heard you say my name in years. I forget how smoothly it came off your lips.”
Smiling sadly I grabbed his face and looked at him.
“Huh yeah it’s been awhile hasn’t it. But really why did you kiss me? I understand if it was in the moment and not meant-“
“Wait, you think I didn’t mean it?!” Tenya says with panic in his eyes
“Well with the rivalry and the mean comments and just brutal training against each other  at times I would never think you would like me or even kiss me.”
“I understand where you're coming from but I need to assure you that I do care for you. Even after the stupid and inconsiderate comments my parents said years ago. I never stopped caring for you. This rivalry is so dumb. if I see Tensie falling in love with Athena. Why can't I do the same.” Tenya says
“Wait, you love me?”
“I always have. Since the day we met when Kyo and Tensie had a group project and you came over with Kyo to my house. I remember your beautiful c/e looking so afraid and didn’t want to leave Kyo’s lap because you only knew him. And while I tried to persuade you to come and play with me in the garden I remembered I overheard your mom say your favorite flower was f/f and lucky for us we had it in the garden. I begged my mother to cut the smallest flower there was.” He smiles and continues
“I grabbed the flower carefully and ran back to Tensei's room where you and Kyo were. I sat next to Kyo and I saw your eyes light up in the sight of the flower. I asked if I can put it in your hair and you nodded and I said-“
“It looks beautiful. If you come outside with me we can make a beautiful flower crown for a princess like you.” We say in sink
“You remembered” I say softly
“I always have.” Tenya said
“What do we do now? We both like each other and just want to be happy with each other. Without our parents at our throats.” I say
“Come.” Tenya says while holding my hand
We both ran to the common room and saw nobody and I looked to see that both of our family’s were in my dorm room. I tugged Tenya and pointed to my family. He quickly dragged me with him and while we approached our families we heard our fathers argue.
“If your daughter hadn't come to this school Tenya would be number one!”
“Oh please that is so not true and you know that. Your son wouldn’t be number one even if my own daughter wasn’t here. She got so many recommendations to come here like Endeavor's child!”
While they argued I see our mothers knock on my door
“Y/n sweetie please open the door. We know you're in there with Tenya.” My mom says
“Y/n its okay me and your mother are not mad. Tenya please convince Y/n to open the door.” Tenyas mom said
I see on the floor crouching down my brothers and sister along with Tensie who seemed to be calling our phones. And I remember I left my phone on my bed.
“Mom, I'm right here.” I say
I see my family look at me and Tenya holding hands.
“Oh thank god. We thought you locked yourself in your room.” Athena said while getting up and hugging me
“Oh no I just left my phone on my bed. I just talked to Tenya for a bit and we want to talk to y’all actually.” I say while looking at my family and his.
“And before we go into my room. Please stop the fucking arguing this rivalry is gettin old. Of who’s better or not. Both of you men are reaching an old age, stop arguing and act normal. I will not tolerate it in my room. If y’all do I will spray you with my spray bottle that has water. Got it?” I say while unlocking my door
They nod and all pile into my room.
My siblings sat on my bed with Tensie next to them.
My parents and Tenyas parents sat on the couch I had.
After everyone settled in Tenya spoke
“I understand that this rivalry has affected me and y/n in many ways you wouldn’t understand. From me and Tensie losing our best friends to hating the idea of them succeeding. Tensie matured and became friends again with the y/n family and hell even fell in love with Athena. I always respect you father because you always knew better for me but this is my time to choose and I choose to be friends and more with Y/n.”
“I understand dad that you don’t like me associating with the family who made fun of us because of our wealth and status. And god knows I'm still upset but it was never Tenyas nor Tensei's words. Even misses Idas words. And I know it gives you rage and anger seeing with the son of the man who made fun of us. But dad. Im old enough to choose who to associate with. I know mom is okay with it. But I want you to be okay with this as well. I'm not asking you to forgive them this instant. But please work with Tenya and Tensie they are trying to make amends.” I say with tears in my eyes
“Father. I love her.”
‘Dad I love him.”
We say together
Our father look at us and each other and sighed
“Darling I will try for you.” My dad says
“ I will as well.” Tenyas father said
I smiled and ran to hug my parents.
“Thank you really thank you” I say crying
My parents hugged me back and kissed my forehead
My sister pulled me from my parents grasp and threw me to my brothers who hugged me
“Look at this little devil dragon growing up it was just like yesterday you told us to shut the fuck up.” Laxus said
“If you dont let me breathe ill make sure you don’t have children you fucking dick” I say struggling to breath
When they let me go I see Tensie and Athena hold hands having there cute couple moment
I smiled and walk over to my record player and put the disc vinyl of Cage the elephant and
“Cigarettes Daydreams” played
I look to see my father dance with my mom
As well with Tenyas parents
With our siblings singing
Distracted in the moment i hear
“Can I have this dance” Tenya says
I smiled and slowly danced with him
“ We will make this work. I promise.” Tenya says
“We better. I know I didn’t kiss you as a dare for nothing.” I say while looking up at him
“I remember that kiss. You ran off to Shoji's room while I stood shocked and eventually went back to my dorm and overthink the kiss.”
We both laughed and that’s when I sing
“Soft speak”
“with a mean streak” Tenya singed
“Nearly brought me to my knees” we said softly as we danced to the rest of the song
Do do do do do do You can drive all night Looking for answers in the pouring rain You wanna find peace of mind Looking for the answer If we could find a reason, a reason to change Looking for the answer If you could find a reason, a reason to stay Standing in the pouring rain
Baloo’s Lost Cargo
This is basically an AU where everything in Ducktales is the same, but all the Talespin characters are there (though they don't all appear here) and they're the same ages they were in the original. Like what they did with Darkwing when he first appeared!
A couple months ago…
“I wonder why those archaeologists were so cagey about what we’re delivering?” Kit wondered aloud. Baloo shrugged.
“I don’t know, kiddo. All Becky could get out of em’ was that it was some kind of rock.” he snorted. “Imagine, paying for express delivery for a rock.”
“Come on Baloo,” Kit pushed. “It’s gotta be somethin’ more important than that- didn’t you hear who we’re delivering it to?”
“No,” Baloo admitted. “I sorta zoned out while Becky was lecturing me.” Kit rolled his eyes.
“It’s going to Scrooge McDuck, the-”
“The richest duck in the world?!” Baloo yelled, turning to stare at him with wide eyes. “That’s who this rock is goin’ to?!”
“Uh huh.” Kit glanced down at the map, grinning slightly at Baloo’s reaction. “And after that, we’re delivering those farm animals to-”
“Who cares about them, Lil’ Britches!” Baloo laughed, tussling the cub’s hair under his hat. “We’re gonna meet Scrooge McDuck!” Kit laughed with him, reaching up to shove the hat out of his eyes.
“Yeah, it’s gonna be-” the laughter dried up in his throat. “Pirates!”
“It’s gonna be pirates?” Baloo blinked at him. “Is that some new sort of slang?”
“No, Baloo! Pirates!” he pointed out the windshield. “Up ahead!”
“Whoa!” Baloo swerved to avoid the oncoming plane. “Hold on, Lil’ Britches, I’m gonna try to lose them!” as he turned, hooks sunk into the back of the sea duck, the radio crackled to life.
“Hello, Baloo and Kit Cloudkicker!” a voice said. “Prepare to be boarded by-”
“Sorry Don Garbage, I’m afraid it’s not a good time,” Baloo said. He and Kit laughed as the pirate gave a yell of frustration.
“It is Don Karnage! I am here to steal your cargo!”
Baloo smirked. “You mean these chickens?” he asked.
“Don’t forget the goat!” Kit added, snickering. Baloo grinned, glancing back at the animals in question. Their cages had broken open during Baloo’s turn, but the animals themselves were unharmed.
“Yeah- you’re welcome to em’, if you want them that badly!” he said cheerfully.
“No! I am here for the stone!” Karnage yelled.
“No can do, Karny!” Baloo said. “We’ve got a very important buyer who we’re supposed to be deliverin’ it to!” With that, he spun the plane to the left, taking out the planes attached to them and Karnage. As the flipped back right side up, both pilot and navigator laughed- neither noticing the flash of light behind them.
“You sure showed him, Baloo,” Kit said, grinning.
“Of course, no sky pirate’s gonna out fly me,” Baloo said with a smug smile. He glanced back again to check on how their cargo took the spin, and gasped.
“What? What is it?” Kit spun, peeking over the top of his seat. When he saw what Baloo had seen, he gasped too.
Behind them was- was-
“It’s a chicken goat!” Kit yelled.
“It’s hideous is what it is!” Baloo replied. “I don’t remember loading that on the plane!” The creature bleated and charged at him, pecking at him aggressively. Baloo screamed, shoving at it- only for his hands to get pecked violently.
“Get it off, get it off, get it off!” he shouted, scrambling for the Seaduck’s controls. He pulled a lever, opening the cargo door- and both the creature and the stone flew out of the plane.
Panting, Baloo closed the hold and turned the plane around.
“Baloo!” Kit protested. “The stone fell down on that island!”
“As far as I’m concerned, the chicken goat can have it! No delivery is worth bein’ attacked by that thing again!”
“Well, what are you gonna tell Miss Cunningham?” Kit pressed.
“I don’t know, Lil’ Britches- help me figure somethin’ out!” he chuckled. “She’ll never believe us if we told her the truth.”
“Well, you’re right about that,” Kit admitted. “Okay, I’ll help you.” The pair made up a story to tell Rebecca when they got back, and tried to put the horrifying creature out of their minds.
As the plane came to a full stop, Della smiled at Dewey in a way which she hoped was encouraging.
“Not bad,” she said. “But maybe less crashing next time?”
“Agreed,” Huey said, stumbling up behind them and leaning against Della’s seat, a daze expression on his face.
“Less crashing,” Dewey agreed. “After all, I can’t be Dew-mazing if I just crash the plane! That’s Launchpad’s thing!”
“Not what I meant, but we’ll discuss that later,” Della said. She glanced at the building and grinned. “Look on the bright side, at least you got us to Higher for Hire! let’s get out of here and talk to the pilot that delivered the stone!” she opened the door and jumped to the dock, then turned and held out her hands for Huey.
“Oh my goodness!” A woman cried, running up to them as she pulled him over. “Are you all okay?!”
“We’re fine,” Della assured her, reaching for Dewey and pulling him onto the dock as well. “Right, kids?”
“Just a few bruises,” Huey confirmed.
“I told ya they were probably fine, Beckers,” a bear said, ambling out of the building. “I’ve had worse crashes than that and walked away without a scratch!” the woman ignored him, smiling at Della instead.
“I’m Rebecca Cunningham, owner of Higher for Hire,” she said cheerfully. “Can we help you?”
“Yeah,” Della said, eyes brightening. “We’re looking for the pilot- we need to ask about a delivery they made a while ago.”
“Was there an issue with the delivery?” Rebecca asked, her smile growing tense. Behind her, the bear winced. Della shook her head.
“No, we just want to know the status of the item that was delivered,” she said. “Where it ended up.”
“Alright,” Rebecca said. She glanced at the bear. “Baloo?”
“Right,” Baloo said, nodding. “I’m the pilot- could ya describe this item to me?” he asked them.
“Better, I can show you,” Huey said. He took out Isabella Finch’s journal, opened it to the stone of what was, and held it out to Baloo. He leaned down and peered at it.
“Yeah- yeah, that looks familiar.” he stood, rubbing his head. “Hold on, let me think… ah! Got it!” he snapped his fingers. “That stone fell out of my plane while my navigator and I were deliverin’ it. Hold on, I’ll go talk to ‘im and find out where it fell. Be back in a bit.”
He walked over to a yellow plane, and Rebecca gestured for them to follow her.
“While he talks to Kit, why don’t you all come inside?” she led them up to the building and went in, chatting with Della the whole way.
Dewey stopped at the window as they went in, a tv catching his eye. He gasped as footage of a young bear came on the screen. He was surfing the clouds on some sort of metal board, a wide grin on his face. ‘
“This can be my thing!” Dewey said, his eyes shining with excitement. He could just imagine it- surfing over the clouds, doing all kinds of awesome stunts, crowds screaming his name…
“Dewey!” Della called, snapping him out of his daydream.
“Coming!” he yelled, hurrying inside.
“The stone was supposed to go to my uncle,” Della was saying to Rebecca. Rebecca’s eyes widened.
“Scrooge McDuck is your uncle?”
“Yep! In fact, he’s the one who sent us to find out what happened to it. It’s…” she glanced down at Huey and Dewey. “Kind of important.”
“Well, I’m so sorry it was lost,” Rebecca apologized. “Baloo doesn’t normally lose cargo- he said they ran into some trouble on the way there, and they weren’t able to retrieve it.”
“Well…” Baloo’s voice said, sounding sheepish. “That’s not exactly true.” they all turned, seeing Baloo and a younger bear standing in the door. Rebecca frowned, but before she could ask what Baloo meant, Dewey let out a loud and dramatic gasp.
“You’re my idol from the video I only just saw a minute ago!” he said, rushing up to Kit and shaking his hand.
“Um, thanks?” Kit said, sounding confused and wary. “But… why am I your idol?”
“I saw that thing you were doing! With the silver board!” Kit’s eyes lit up.
“You mean Cloudkicking!”
“Yeah, that!” Dewey grinned. “I think it could totally be my thing! Teach me EVERYTHING you know!”
“I’d be happy to!” Kit looked up at Baloo. “Is that okay, Baloo?”
“Sure thing, kid,” Baloo said, smiling. “You can show ‘im on the way to the island where the stone ended up.”
“Oh,” Della cut in. “That’s alright, we can fly there on our own! We just need the coordinates.”
“It’s no trouble-” Rebecca started. Baloo cleared his throat.
“I think your plane could use a bit of tuning up,” he said, aiming a thumb at the Cloudslayer, which was sinking below the waves. “Our mechanic will take a look at it while Kit and I fly you out.” Della sighed.
“Fine.”
“Great! Right this way!” Baloo marched out of Higher for Hire, a hand on Kit’s shoulder. “We’ll have ya there in no time!”
On the Seaduck
Dewey poked his head into the cockpit, causing both bears to turn and look at him.
“Soooo… can you teach me cloudkicking now?” He asked Kit, tapping excitedly against the door frame. Kit looked at Baloo questioningly, and he chuckled.
“Sure thing, Kiddo. Can ya get your mom in here for me? If Kit’s gonna be teachin’ you, I’ll need her to navigate our way to the island.”
“Sure!” Dewey disappeared, and moments later, Della appeared in his place. Kit slid out of his seat.
“Here’s the map,” he said, handing her the paper. “The island we’re going to is circled.” he watched as Della sat down, a doubtful look in his eyes. “Are you sure you can handle it?”
“Of course!” Della said dismissively. “I plan my own flights all the time!”
“Okay,” Kit said. “Just call me if you need help!” he left the cockpit, and was immediately met by an extremely excited Dewey.
“So where do we start?” he asked eagerly.
“Well,” Kit began. “The best way to learn is by doing it.” Dewey gasped as Kit pulled out his airfoil and handed it to him. “Let’s see what you can do! Just take this rope-” he gave Dewey the handle he always held on to, and opened the cargo hold with a lever. Gesturing to the opening, he smiled. “You just, jump- once you’re out, try to balance on the board, and keep your knees bent.”
“Got it!” Dewey jumped, immediately being caught by the wind and whisked out as far as the rope would let him.
Kit watched him thoughtfully. His form wasn’t bad- a little stiff, but he’d loosen up as he got more comfortable. That could be worked with easily. The problem was… Dewey was screaming. He did not look like he was having fun, which Kit thought was the whole point.
“Uh, maybe we should practice inside first!” he shouted, hands cupped around his mouth. Dewey didn’t respond, and Huey came to stand next to Kit.
“Did you hear that, Dewey?” he shouted. “You can stop!”
“No way, I love this!” Dewey yelled, a tense smile on his face. “The freedom! The wind in my mouth! The sky pirates!”
“Sky pirates?!” Huey and Kit shouted, eyes widening in alarm. Don Karnage grinned as he flew his plane closer.
“Miss me?” he crowed, swinging his sword at Dewey, who thankfully ducked just in time.
“I wanna stop now!” The duck yelled. Kit cupped his hands over his mouth.
“Dewey, you need to start pulling yourself in! Grab the rope!” Dewey screamed in response, and Kit groaned. “Gah, he’s screaming too loud to hear me! Hold on Dewey, I’m coming!” he turned to Huey. “Once I’m out, pull that lever and draw the rope back in- it’ll take that and us pulling to get in as quick as possible.” after Huey nodded, he jumped onto the rope and slid along it to Dewey.
“Be careful Kit!” Baloo called from the cockpit, his teeth clenched as he held the wheel steady.
Kit waved to show he’d heard him, jumping onto the board. He grabbed Dewey with one hand and the handle with the other. Dewey wrapped his arms around the bear, and Kit grabbed the rope and started pulling.
“Flip the lever, Huey!” he yelled. The other boy nodded, and Kit turned his attention to Dewey. “You can stop screaming now,” he said, a hint of amusement in his voice. Don Karnage flew between them and the plane with an evil laugh, slicing the rope with his sword. Kit’s eyes widened. “Scratch that. You can keep screaming.” They dropped, and as Dewey’s screams increased, Kit winced (Dewey was screaming right into his ear) and angled his airfoil so it caught the wind, bringing them as close to the shore as possible before they hit the water. They both took a deep breath before they were plunged beneath the surface. Dewey’s arms didn’t loosen, thankfully- Kit couldn’t open his eyes to see him if he’d let go.
The waves washed them safely ashore, and they simply laid there for a moment, both breathing deeply. After a moment, Kit stood and held out a hand to Dewey.
“Are you okay?” he asked, pulling him up. Dewey gave him a shaky thumbs up.
“Totally,” he said. His shaking voice said otherwise, but before Kit could comment on it, the Seaduck was landing next to them.
“Dewey!” Della cried, jumping out before the plane had even stopped moving. She ran to them, picking him up and holding him close to her. “Oh, I’m so glad you’re alright!”
“Mom,” Dewey said, sounding embarrassed. Kit laughed quietly, and turned away, not wanting to intrude on their tender moment, and looked at the Seaduck instead. He smiled when he saw Baloo and Huey hurrying over. He took a step toward them, but was stopped by Della. She swept him into a hug and squeezed him tight.
“Thanks for saving Dewey-” he blinked, barely having time to awkwardly pat her shoulder before she was dropping him. “-from the danger you put him in!” she finished, scowling down at him with her hands on her hips.
Kit took a step back, alarmed by the sudden anger, and Dewey came to stand next to him. He glared at his mom, but before he could say anything, Baloo was there.
“Hey now,” he said, putting himself between them and Della. He glared at her, putting a hand on Kit’s shoulder. “Your boy wanted to learn cloudkicking, and Kit taught ‘im. How was he supposed to know the pirates would show up?”
“Yeah!” Dewey said, throwing his arm around Kit’s shoulders. “It’s not Kit’s fault!”
Both parents ignored him, in favor of glowering at each other. Huey shoved his way between them.
“Let’s focus on finding the stone for now,” he said patiently. “Okay?”
“Fine,” Baloo muttered. Della crossed her arms, but nodded.
“Any chance you saw where on the island the stone fell?” she asked Baloo.
“Nope, sorry.” Baloo shook his head. “We were to high up- and we didn’t exactly wait up. We were trying to get out of there as quick as possible.” Della narrowed her eyes at him as Huey knelt on the ground, examining a pair of tracks.
“Why?”
“Hey,” Huey called, before he replied. “Check this out.” Kit knelt next to him.
“Tracks?” he asked.
“Yeah, but they’re weird.” Huey frowned as Della came up behind them. “I wonder what kind of animal made them.”
“Uh…” Della put a hand on his head, turning it to the right. “I think, that kind.” a strange creature came out of the bushes, and they quickly backed up to Dewey and Baloo.
“It’s some sort of… rhinosarilla!” Della said.
“Or a gorillaocerous,” Baloo offered.
“Gorilihno!” Dewey suggested. The creature roared in anger, and Della ran, yelling,
“We’ll decide what it’s called later, RUN!” they all followed her, sprinting through the jungle. The creature stayed hot on their heels, unrelenting in it's chase.
Dewey pulled out Kit’s airfoil, grinning. “Baloo! Launch me at him!” he said, holding it up.
“Er, great idea!” Baloo said. “But I’ve got a better one.”
“So do I!” Della snatched the airfoil out of Dewey’s hand, hurling it at the creature. It bounced off it’s head and knocked it down a hill, where it got its horn stuck in the cliff.
The airfoil flew back, and as Baloo caught it and handed it to him, Dewey crossed his arms.
“I mean… my idea would have worked just as well,” he said, frowning.
“What is that thing?!” Della yelled, gesturing at the creature.
Baloo shuddered. “It’s just like that awful chicken goat,” he said. “Remember, Kit?”
“How could I forget?” the boy replied, shivering.
“The what?” Della asked, turning around to glare at them.
“Oh… did we forget to mention that?” Baloo asked.
“You did,” Della said, gritting her teeth. Baloo shrugged.
“Sorry.”
“But where did it come from?” Huey asked, cutting off any further arguments. He walked through a couple of rocks into the bushes, and they followed (but not before Della shot another glare at Baloo).
The game to the edge of a small cliff, and below them was the stone of what was and Don Karnage. The pirate was ordering a member of his crew to lift the stone. When she did, there was a bright flash of light- and she suddenly had the lower body of an ant.
As she screamed and Don Karnage groaned, Huey flipped through the journal.
“What was once two becomes anew!” he said. “The stone of what was! It must combine two things into one!” the pirates continued trying to grab the stone, but each one who tried was combined with an animal who had happened to be touching it at the same time.
“Alright!” Della said. “What was eight pirates is now four pirate abominations- much easier!” she walked to the edge and started climbing down. “I’m going to get a closer look- stay right here.” she pointed at Baloo. “You, stay further over there.” she pointed behind the kids, and he held his hands up in surrender.
They all watched as Della climbed down, gasping when she started sliding- just barely catching herself before she fell off.
“Oh man, mom’s in trouble!” Huey said worriedly.
“This is my chance!” Dewey said, grinning. “I can take the pirates out with my sick cloudkicking skills, while you-” he pointed at Baloo. “-steal one of their planes and use your piloting skills to make off with the stone!”
“Well, I am an ace pilot,” Baloo said with a smug smile. Kit elbowed him, and he coughed. “But uh, maybe you should let Kit handle the pirates? He has more experience than you do.”
“I can do it,” Dewey insisted. “I’ve dealt with Don Karnage before!”
“I meant- wait.” Baloo held up a hand. “You’ve met Karney before?” Dewey nodded, and Baloo sighed. “Alright, if you’re sure-”
“Hold on,” Huey said, stepping between them and looking at Dewey. “This is a dumb, pointless risk!” he said as Dewey pulled out the airfoil. “I’m begging you not to do this.” Dewey shook his head.
“Already Dew-sending!” he called, leaping off the edge. Baloo, Kit, and Huey cringed as he dropped, smashing onto the ground. Still, it was a distraction. Baloo hurried the kids down to the ground, and over to the planes.
“Get in, quick!” he said, climbing into one. He started the engine, drawing the attention of the pirates. Don Karnage pointed at them.
“Someone stop them!” he shouted. The pirates didn’t listen to him- most of them were too busy panicking. As Baloo pulled the plane out, there was a loud roar.
“Uh… guys?” Kit pointed to where Della was sitting on a bear with butterfly wings. “I think we have another problem.”
“Oh boy,” Baloo said. “I better help her!” he leapt out, calling over his shoulder- “keep the plane running!”
Huey and Kit watched as the bear ran around the clearing, roaring at pirates. It then came face to face with Baloo.
“Don’t worry,” Kit said to Huey. “He’ll help your mom!” Baloo and the bear stared at each other for a moment, and then Baloo screamed and bolted. Kit dropped his head into his hands.
“Nevermind.”
“Wait, look!” Huey pointed, and Kit looked up. The bear was tangled up in the ropes attached to the stone, and it was lifting it into the air. Baloo leapt onto the stone, flying along with them. he climbed up onto the bear with Della.
"well, this is one way to get the stone back!" he said, grinning at her. as they flew up, the remaining pirates hopped into their planes and went after them. Kit jumped out of their plane, quickly followed by Huey.
“Come on!” he yelled as they ran past Dewey. “We need to get back to the Seaduck and follow them!” the three kids ran back through the woods to where the plane was waiting.
After they got in, Kit sat down in Baloo’s chair. “I’ll get the Seaduck up into the air,” he said, turning the plane on. “But someone’s going to need to distract the pirates- I don't think the bear can fight them off."
“I will!” Dewey volunteered. “I can cloudkick out there, and save my mom and Baloo!”
“That’s enough!” Huey yelled, yanking the airfoil out of his hands. “Why don’t you both just do your thing!” Kit turned to look at him, confused, while Dewey scowled.
“This is my thing!" he said, gesturing at the board. “Flying straight and boring isn’t going to save them! Anyone can do that!”
“Wait,” Kit said, drawing both ducks’ attention. “Dewey, you can fly a plane?!”
“Yeah, so?”
“So? That’s great!” he stood. “I’ve been learning, but I’m nowhere near ready to fly on my own. Until I’m old enough to take real lessons, I’m best at being Baloo’s navigator. So you being able to fly well enough to keep a plane this size in the air, and keep it steady? At your age?” he grinned. “That is amazing, and it's exactly what we need right now.”
“Besides,” Huey said, smiling. “If I know you, you’ll make flying as special as you are. No one will be able to fly just like you.”
“Okay,” Dewey said, a smile blooming across his face. He sat in the pilot’s chair.
“Let’s Dewey this.”
With Dewey flying, they quickly and effortlessly caught up to Della and Baloo. As they got closer, they saw that Don Karnage had a harpoon stuck in the stone, and was reeling it in.
Kit opened the hatch and grabbed the rope. Even without the handle, it would work.
“Keep it steady!” he called to Dewey. Dewey gave him a thumbs up, and Kit jumped. He flew over to the cable, using his sudden weight to push against it and dislodge it from the stone.
“Argh!” Don Karnage yelled, dodging the hook as it flew back at him, taking out the cannon in the process. “How dare you, you little rat!”
Kit shot him a smug grin before flying to the other planes. He quickly took out their engines with the crowbar Baloo kept in the Seaduck, forcing them to head for the water before they fell.
“Wow,” Della said, staring at him. Baloo chuckled from his place behind her.
“Isn’t he amazing?” he asked, pride in his voice. He cupped a hand around his mouth.
“You’re doin’ great, Kit! Keep it up!” Kit waved as the Seaduck flew up to them, Dewey in the pilot’s seat.
“Mom! Baloo!” he yelled. “Jump on!”
“Get the stone first!” Della responded. She pulled out a pocket knife to cut the rope, while Baloo did his best to untie the knots. Between the two of them the stone was soon free, and it dropped onto the nose of the Seaduck. They both watched, breaths held, as it rolled to the edge. Thankfully, Dewey was able to steady the plane and keep it in the center.
“Yes!” Huey said, laughing. “I knew you could do it!” Dewey grinned.
“Thanks, Huey,” he said. He moved the plane closer to Della and Baloo so they could jump on.
“Look,” Huey said, pointing to where Kit was fighting with Don Karnage. The bear had just spun the pirate’s plane around, spinning him down into the waves below. They both cheered, and Kit grinned up at them, waving.
“I’ll go reel him in,” Huey said, putting a hand on Dewey’s shoulder before walking to the back. Dewey nodded, then turned to look at Della and Baloo. Della was looking at Dewey through the windshield, beaming.
“I’m so proud of you!” she yelled. She did a cartwheel. “Look how steady it is!” Dewey grinned, but Baloo did not look amused.
“Whoa,” he said. “I’ll admit this is pretty impressive, but maybe save the cartwheels for after we’re safely inside?” Della nodded.
“Fair point,” she said. The bear flew up to them, and Della smiled and scratched it’s fur. After a second, Baloo gave a small smile and did the same. The bear licked both of them, and Baloo gagged as it flew away.
“Gah, it licked my teeth!” Della laughed, wiping the spit off her face. She looked at the bear.
“Be free, my noble friend,” she said, waving at it. Baloo rolled his eyes, ushering her inside. Once they were in, he went to the back where Huey was pulling in Kit. After he was in, he drew the boy into a hug.
“Great job, Lil’ Britches,” he said, grinning.
“Thanks Papa Bear,” Kit said, smiling back. He fist bumped Huey, and the three of them walked up to the cockpit.
“You’re doin’ great, kid,” Baloo said to Dewey, walking up behind him. “But I can take over now.”
“Aw, let him fly us home Baloo,” Kit said. “He’s a natural- he can handle it.” Baloo looked down at him.
“Alright,” he conceded. “If you trust him, then so do I.” he looked at Dewey. “Just be careful with my baby, okay?”
“He will be,” Della promised. She elbowed him. “I let him fly my baby, and- well…” she coughed. “He crashed it into the ocean. But he’s not gonna try to do any stunts this time!”
Baloo laughed. “She’s been through worse than that- Just so long as we get home in one piece.” he looked at Dewey thoughtfully. “One more thing, though.”
“Yeah?” Dewey asked, keeping his eyes on the sky.
“Do you know how to get back to Higher For Hire?”
“Uh... no,” Dewey admitted sheepishly. “I guess that’s a problem, huh?”
“Nah,” Baloo said dismissively. “That’s why I have a navigator! Kit?”
“On it, Papa Bear,” Kit said, hopping into the navigator’s seat. he smiled at Dewey.
"Are you ready to... Dewey this?" he asked. Dewey smirked.
"I am so ready."
Once they were back home, Baloo lifted the stone off the Seaduck’s nose and into the spare crate that Rebecca had waiting for him.
“There,” he said, putting the lid over it. “You’re good to go!”
“Thank you,” Della said, smiling as Huey, Dewey, and Kit pushed it into the Cloudslayer. “We really appreciate the help.”
“No problem,” Baloo replied. “It was the least we could do- considering we lost the cargo in the first place.” Della shrugged.
“Eh, it happens. Uncle Scrooge’ll understand when we tell him what happened.” Baloo blinked.
“Uncle…?" he asked, before his eyes widened in realization. "Scrooge McDuck is your uncle?!” Della snorted.
“Yeah, who did you think sent us? Speaking of which-” she reached into her pocket. “He said that if you could get us stone, I should give you this.” she gave him some money. “It’s what he owed you for the cargo when you were originally delivering it.”
“Whoa, thank you!” Baloo grinned. “Becky will be happy- she was mad when we came back without this before.” after tucking it into his shirt pocket, he held out a hand. “It was nice to meet you,” he said.
“Likewise.” Della grinned, shaking it. “Maybe we’ll see you around?”
“Maybe,” Baloo agreed. He smirked. “If ya ever need anything else delivered.” they laughed together as the kids came up to them.
“The stone is loaded, Mom,” Huey said.
“Okay, then we should probably be getting back to Duckburg.” she and the boys climbed in the plane, waving one last time before shutting the door.
“Dewey gave me his address,” Kit said as they flew off. “So I can write him and see how his flying is going.” Baloo put an arm around him.
“That's great, Lil' Britches." he hummed thoughtfully. "You know, if you wanted, I could start taking you out on the weekends to fly.” Kit gasped.
“Really, Papa Bear?” he asked, looking up at Baloo with wide eyes. Baloo grinned.
“Really. I have a feeling both of you could be ace pilots someday.”
💖Dabi:
When you first met Dabi, one of your very first presumptions about the man was that he should never have offspring.
That’s not to say that you were not immediately drawn to his physical looks and demeanor, rather you just couldn’t picture such a stoic man ever having the visceral capacity in his cold heart to care much about anyone besides himself.
It wouldn’t be until much later than your initial meeting where these feelings would be fully swayed– passed when you got to know him better and saw his standoffish mask fade away, revealing a loyal, surprisingly warm man– passed becoming romantically involved with him and finding him putting aside his own slight needs at times to fulfill yours– passed even your first pregnancy together.
It was the day of your child’s birth that you knew just how much of a kind-hearted creature your partner could be.
You already knew that he wouldn’t be able to attend the birth. He was a known “terrorist” after all. The sight of him in a hospital would only end in havoc.
Those people— always quick to label anyone who won’t conform under their oppression with such othering terms.
You gave a quick glance to your sleeping daughter, immediately feeling a heaviness in your heart. The picture just wasn’t complete without Dabi.
Yes, it hurt to be alone but you reminded yourself that you would soon return from the hospital to reunite your little untypical family.
But for the moment, you could only sleep and let your body heal from child birth.
A familiar sound suddenly chipped away at your peaceful unconscious, “You are so beautiful. Just like your mom, huh?”
Was that Dabi?
You tried to pry your heavy eye lids open and call out to him but only a slight tired groan came out.
“Go back to sleep, Y/N,” you felt a warm hand rub your cheek, “You did a good job. Rest up,” you tried to fight against your sleepiness but the soothing nature of his touch eventually dragged you back to sleep.
“You are perfect. I… I didn’t know I could feel so much for one person. God, I am going to spend every moment of my life protecting you until the day I die, baby girl.”
“Dabi!!” You gasped. You finally snapped your body up, and ignored the searing pain in your lower abdomen and you crazily searched the room for the father of your child.
Your heart sagged at his absence.
However on the visitors chair next to your daughters plastic crib was a large array of pink stuff animals and hearts.
You dragged yourself off of the bed and scuttled to the display of rosy penguins and pigs and bears and saw a card with a lone pink balloon on the front.
Curiously, you slowly opened the card,
I hope this doesn’t gross you out, me being all soft and everything, but as soon as I saw her I wanted to give her absolutely everything. My baby girl is the most precious thing I have ever seen.
I’m so proud of you. You did a good job, babe. Heal up and come home soon, kay?
I can’t wait to hold my girls again.
🐊Kirishima:
He was beyond happy to become the father to your children. Words wouldn’t even be able to begin to describe the pure and overwhelming feelings of joy that he felt as he bounced out of the doors of the drug store near your house.
He glanced down to a torn piece of a magazine the two of you had lying around the house, checking the small list he made one more time before he left the stores premises:
Vitamin B6
 A plush crocodile
flowers
Left Twix
pregnancy test
Yep! All accounted for! He had practically no trouble at all finding most things on the list, but the plush crocodile was a bit harder than he expected.
He had asked an associate about the plush toy in hopes of finding it, but they only had alligators.
“But this is a stuffed alligator. See?” As Kirishima pointed to the stuffed animals face, the associate only became confused, so Kiri explained further, “The nose shape is all wrong. It has to be a crocodile? Are you sure this all you have?”
It was indeed all they had. Kirishima let out a small sigh, but honestly not even the drug store’s reptile discrimination could bring his day down!
“My wife is pregnant!” He exclaimed with an extremely proud smile to a couple he passsed as he made his way into his car. One of the strangers immediately cheered him on with a loud “whoop whoop!” before his boyfriend smacked him on the shoulder for the wild display.
Meanwhile, you couldn’t believe how long it was taking your husband to return home from the store. You bounced your leg uncomfortably as you waited on your living room couch.
He was only supposed to be picking up one thing! The longer you sat and waited for him to return, the more your nerves stacked upon each other.
You’re heart flipped in your chest as your front door suddenly opened. You quickly stood from the couch, “You got it?”
He hurried up to you, “Yep! Here, go take the test!” He pressed a kiss on your cheek and frantically handed you an already opened pregnancy test like a baton in a race.
You raised an eyebrow to him, before pausing as you caught a glance at the flowers in his other hand. You shook your head in disbelief, “Eiji look, I told you not to get too excited,” you pointed an accusing finger as you walked away toward to bathroom, “The test we took was old. It might have been a fake positive,” you hollered from the bathroom after shutting the door.
He followed you to the bathroom, but remained fidgety on the other side, “Well I know for a fact that it wasn’t a fake positive,” he replied with a slightly smug tone as he tried to mask his own nervousness.
“Oh yeah?” You laughed at his smugness, “Well… would that be such a bad thing?” You tried to sound lighthearted as you stared at the stick in front of you and waited for the second line to appear.
The two of you hadn’t really been planning for a child. You hadn’t ever really even talked about having children much, so when you missed your period last week and became sick this morning, this response from Kirishima was very unexpected.
He was way happier than you would have thought he would be. Just when you thought your beam of light couldn’t get any happier….
God, you didn’t want to let him down.
Suddenly Kirishima heard you scream on the other side of the door.
The man immediately burst through the door accidentally busting a portion of the frame, “Oh man, S-sorry. But WHAT IS IT!?”
“Happy face!” A smile split your face as you threw yourself at him for a hug.
“T-that means pregnant!?” He frantically stuttered, frozen in place.
“That means pregnant!” You hopped up and down.
He wasted no time at all as you scooped you up into his arms. The both of you laughed in unbelievable glee as he carried you to the living room and sat you down on the couch. He swiftly handed you the flowers, “Here you go, baby mama.” You laughed at his phrasing as he reach somewhere behind him to grab his drug store plastic bag.
“And these,” he smiled up at you, “for your stomach.”
Chocolate and…. B6?? What even is that? You threw him a confused glance, so he immediately explained.
“I was talking to a lady by the pharmacy about your morning sickness,” no wonder he took so long, you laughed at his diligence as he continued, “She said B6 can help. So the vitamins will do good for your stomach, and the chocolate will taste good for your stomach.”
Your face almost hurt from how hard your were smiling, “God, you really went all out! You really are hard headed you know that?”
“Only the best for my girls,” he argued as he pulled the stuffed alligator from behind his back.
“Oh my goodness!!” You explained with a laugh, the two of you always got each other crocodile things. The first thing you ever said to him in high school was a mocking joke about his choice in footwear—crocs. You laughed, “You think its a little girl, huh? Well, I think it’s a hard headed little boy just like his dad.”
“I guess we’ll see,” he said as he pecked you on the lips.
“I guess we will.” You smiled back at him.
🐻Shigaraki:
The two of you weren’t exactly on the greatest of terms. What was meant to be a drunken fling ended up turning into, in your opinion, a long, drawn out train-wreck of a relationship– if you could even call it that.
You swear that that man has the mentality of a child, and it seemed like every time he would take a step toward the grand goal of maturity, something would come by and knock him two steps back again.
So it was obviously not a shock to you that the overgrown baby was no where near prepared to raise a baby of his own. You almost expected him to storm off sooner than he did when you told him you were pregnant.
But he just stared at you.
“What? Would you stop staring at me like I’m some alien now?” you had thrown your hands on your hips as if to undermine any overwhelming feelings he had, “You did this to me!!” you had foolishly screamed at him, causing him paused in shock before storming away as you feared he would.
How could you say that to him? Then again, you knew you had your faults as well. After all you were the one who hid the pregnancy until you had begun to show.
It was just too much for you to bare– the thought of being left alone to raise a snotty little thing, the thought of him staying and you being forced into a failing relationship, the thought of what kind of fucked up hero society you would raise the thing in. All of these thoughts festering in your mind over the past few months boiled into a harden crust and weighed down upon your mind.
“Shit…” you sighed under your breath, finally releasing the flood of emotions that you had been holding back for all of these months in a wave of tears.
“Y/N,” Shigaraki’s voice suddenly snapped you out of your despairing trance, “Here,” he harshly shoved a soft object into your face much like a student would an unseemly note to his classmate.
You looked down at the object and was completely surprised by what you saw, “A bear…?” you gawked at the plush object. He hadn’t ever bought you any gifts before.
“I wasn’t planning on staying with you,” he said very simply, his words sending a sharp pain through your heart.
Your still teary eyes blinked a few times as you tried to hold back your inevitable crying, “O-okay? I-“ he suddenly cut you off,
“I’m not as stupid as you might think. I can see that you are unhappy with me, so I was gonna just drop this… us,” he trailed off as if he were carefully preparing his next set of words, so you sat in silence and waited for them,
He finally spoke, “but knowing that we are expecting a child makes me really happy. Because it’s with you. I will… try to make you happier.”
You immediately wrapped your arms around him and held him closer to you than you ever had before, as if you were finally becoming one with him. You honestly didn’t know if the two of you would work out, but hearing those words come from him would make all of the difference in the possibility.
💥Bakugou:
“GOD DAMMIT! THE BRAT’S ON FIRE AGAIN, Y/N!!” You heard your husband screech from the other side of the house.
“WHAT?! ALREADY!?” You gave a groan in annoyance as you walked down the hall. You could already see light from the flames your son was probably swallowed up in in your living room. You shook your head in exasperation.
As soon as Bakugou spotted you coming, he threw you and expectant look, causing you to throw you hands on your hips as you chastised him, “Well, don’t just stand there looking at me! Grab the extinguisher!”
He immediately became defensive, “What do you think I am trying to do, you idiot! I can’t find it!” He roared back over your sons terrified screams.
“What do you mean you can’t find it?! We have one in every room now!” You screamed back as you picked up your son and hugged him close. The boy dropped something from his hand as you did so.
It was a blessing that you had just come back from work and had your fireproof hero costume on. You already had a full store of clothes that your young toddler had burned through. You patted him on his flaming back in a feeble attempt to soothe him. He continued wailing still.
Your poor baby! You knew he had your fire proof cells, but he was still terrified.
“Babe! Where’s that damn extinguisher!?” You called out.
“You must have moved it earlier this morning when he scorched your shirt!” He accused angrily.
“Oh crap. Well, grab the one from the kitchen, or playroom! And that was more than a scorch and you know it! My favorite blouse looked like a teenage bonfire,” You tried to defend yourself.
“Put me out mommy! Put me out!” Your son sobbed, clinging tightly to your chest as the flames raged around him, “we need ‘wata’!” Your heart broke a little at his hiccups and gasps,
“We can’t use water, baby,” your fire breathing quirk along side Bakugou’s oily nitroglycerin sweat resulted in a pretty terrifying combination for a small child who had a habit of setting himself on fire. The oily fire would only surge if you used water to extinguish it. That’s why you had special extinguishers made just for these occasions, “if DADDY FINDS AN EXTINGUISHER you’ll be okay! Remember? It doesn’t hurt.”
Bakugou suddenly burst back into the room, “I FOUND IT!” He screeched like a battle cry as you held your son an arms length away. Much like you often practiced, Bakugou flipped the nozzle of the red container and released the foamy continents as they sprayed all over your son.
You quickly calmed him down and cleaned him off as Bakugou ran to grab him some more clothes. The two of you worked like a well oiled machine as you swiftly dressed him and consoled him out of his sobs.
Your son eventually cried himself into a nap, meaning you’d have at least 2 hours to prepare for the next inevitable incident. You sighed as you slumped down onto the couch next to an already sprawled Bakugou, “What are we gonna do with this boy,” you shook your head.
“Train him how to use his damn quirk,” he huffed.
You sat up defensively, “We do!”
“Yeah, a few minutes a day,” he spat back.
“He’s a toddler, Katsuki, Jesus!” your face upturned.
“Tell him that! He’s the one spontaneously combusting!” he loudly argued, “Besides, he’ll be four in like a month.”
It was a rare occurrence that he obtained his quirk so early. The two of you hadn’t expected it for years.
But doctors theorized that quirks would soon come earlier in age as their power grew— your son might just be among the first of a new era. Different things like diet, stress, activity could all also trigger the quirks to come sooner.
“Well the doctors said his outbursts could be stress related!” Your face shriveled. You weren’t so ignorant to think that yours and Katsuki’s interactions weren’t stressful for a small child. It’s not that you guys weren’t happy together. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Loud and passionate was just the dynamic that the two of you shared, but your son was gentle and nervous somehow. Much like your brother. You shook your head as guilt ate away at your heart, “God, only three years in and we are messing him up already.”
“He’s not fucking messed up!” Your husband argued “He’s perfect!” He announced proudly. This sent a wave of happiness into your heart.
You never really expected Bakugou to be the doting father type, but he had pleasantly surprised you the past few years at how passionate he was about raising your son. Of course there were times where you would question his harsher parenting methods, but all in all, he was a very good, supportive, present father.
You looked up at him proudly, “Yeah,” you agreed with a soft smile.
“Plus, I fixed our plush toy issue,” your husband huffed, “that probably why he was easier to calm the hell down than usual.”
“Our… what?” You raised an eyebrow.
“You really didn’t notice? Are you fucking serious?” He sounded almost hurt, “You said he get’s even more worked up when he’s upset about melting or destroying his toys during his tantrums. So I fixed that problem,” he pointed to the scorched carpet in front of you and that’s when you noticed a small, unscathed plush doll.
Your heart melted. It was a little cute Ground Zero doll! “Oh! Wow! How long has he had that?!” You excitedly exclaimed as you bent down to pick up the fluffy Bakugou.
“I just had the agency brand them yesterday. It’s a fireproof prototype,” he gruffly explained nonchalantly. You immediately leaned over to him to give your thoughtfulness sweetheart of a man a kiss but he harshly threw his face away from you so you only caught his cheek.
All these years, and he still hated affection, “Whatever,” you huffed,  “I have a new man anyway,” you teased, causing him to angrily whip his head back towards you, only to see you placing a kiss on the small plushie.
“YOU ARE SO FUCKING WEIRD, YOU KNOW THAT!?!”
Suddenly you heard an explosion coming from your sons room, followed by familiar terrified wails, “MOMMYYY! PUT. ME. OUUUUUUT!”
Both you and Bakugou sighed before you angrily punched him on the arm for his loud mouth.
Infatuation P6
Joe Goldberg x Reader x Love Quinn
Warnings: Mentions of Death.
Notes: I have about 3 alternate versions of this but you can guess only one made it to the cut. Sorry everything is taking so long! I’ve been focused on my classes and it’s a lot of work. Without access to the studios, our projects are reliant on our at-home materials but I literally have none!!! Funny how life sucks like that.
It’s now 7 pm.
We’re sitting in the far back of a Diner that will be closing soon. I hadn’t expected us to actually go out somewhere, but that’s not a real concern.
Besides the faint jukebox music, It’s completely silent.
I’m beginning to wonder why you brought me here. This Diner. It’s in walking distance from your place, so I can’t be too surprised.
You lift a glass of water to your lips.
“So, what did you drag me out here to talk about?” I’m coming off a little annoyed, but I’m trying to be playful. Or... maybe I want to be playful. I don’t know. It’s late.
Those small hands of yours set down the glass of water, my eyes continue to linger on them while you talk.
“Um. I wanted us to talk about something, but I had expected it to be earlier.” Stop being vague, just tell me already.
You’re quiet for a solid minute, but I know you’re going to be the one to speak first.
“As you already know, I left a couple years ago.” Of course, we have to start from the top. I’m honestly just hoping you hurry this along.
“I left because of Forty, but I’m still scared. He’s— he doesn’t feel dangerous but he worries me.”
I’m beginning to think back to Forty and his mannerisms. I don’t see what you’re scared about. He’s got an air to him that couldn’t hurt a fly. Why are you bringing this up?
“I- I didn’t believe it at first but—“ you look me straight in the eye and my heart momentarily halts. “Don’t tell Love or Forty I’m telling you any of this. Please.”
Words escape me as I only nod in agreement. I’m enticed by whatever information you’re dangling above my head. Like the introduction of a story, I’m hooked.
“Well. Forty and I went on a d-date once. I thought it went w-well but... then Love told me about—“ You stop yourself again, right before you get to the good part! I’m getting frustrated, but I don’t let it consume me. Perhaps you caught something in my face, but you eventually swallow before continuing in a hushed tone. “He killed someone.”
Now that— that I was not expecting. So, that’s what Love told you... Based on what she had previously told me, I think it’s safe to say she told you this to get you away from Forty, whether it’s a sick lie or the cruel truth. Well, Love, it worked. It worked with and against you, but it worked.
“She told me when they were younger, he blacked out and, when he came to, he didn’t remember doing it.” You’ve long stopped meeting my eyes. Instead, you’re looking around the Diner and playing with your fingernails. “I was scared it would happen to me— I didn’t want to be his next victim, so I left without a word.”
“What made you come back?” I ask because I can see you beginning to slip and you need to know I’m listening. You look my way again.
“I came back because... my mom passed away. She still lived here. I have nobody left and over the years I realized we were young and I couldn’t base his whole identity around a mistake from his childhood. It was stupid of me and I desperately wanted to see Love again. I just don’t know where I stand with Forty now.” You drink some of the water you’ve been ignoring for the past 10 minutes and I lean forward in my seat.
“I’m sorry for your loss.” My voice is low. I honestly don’t know what to say in a time like this. You don’t seem all too distraught from your mother’s death. You seem good at managing yourself, once you get over your initial reactions.
“I don’t think I can ever tell Love. It’s not something I ever want to bring up with her again. But, I trust you. You know them both and I trust that you can see it the way I do.”
I have to fight a smile from crossing my lips. Maybe you’re less aware of all that’s been happening behind your back.
“If you don’t mind me asking, where did you go when you left?” I ask just out of curiosity. I take notice that the Diner is near empty, aside from the employees and ourselves.
You reply, the clearest you’ve been all night. “New York City. I lived in the upper East side of Manhattan before moving back here.”
I stiffen at your response. Your eyes are locked onto mine and I begin to doubt my last statement again. Yorkville? A shiver runs up my spine and my muscles tense. I know I suddenly have this vacant look in my eye but I can’t help it.
“That’s an expensive neighbourhood.” I fight myself to say.
“You’ve been?” You quirk a brow and I could just slap myself in the face. Did I really just give myself away?
“Before I moved here, I did a lot of research. Almost ended up moving to NYC.” I think you’re buying it, but I can’t tell. For the most part, you remain expressionless.
“Hm.” You take a sip of your water again. “Know of any good bookstores around here? I’ve been gone for so long that my old favourites have been bought out.”
“Well, there’s Anavrin. Where I work. With books.” We both crack a smile and you lightly laugh. I raise my brows and slowly nod my head to really hammer in that I wasn’t kidding. I’m relieved we’ve changed the topic. I still feel on-edge, but I’m starting to loosen up again.
“Right. I’m not looking for vegan cook books or autobiographies.” You smirk and hesitantly raise a brow. Very cute, you’re trying to be funny.
“Oh, come on! I’m sure I can get you the book you’re looking for. If it isn’t in stock, I can special order it.”
“You’d do that for me?” You tilt your head in such an innocent way. You’re beginning to remind me of a certain blond.
“Of course! So, what’re you looking for?” I ask.
“The sign of four by Arthur Conan Doyle. I’ve been reading up on mysteries for a project.”
“Oh, what’s the project for?”
“Hmm... mostly myself. I don’t have a job so I spend my hours reading and writing.”
“You can make a career out of writing.”
“But then it wouldn’t be fun anymore! The moment I have a deadline, I don’t want to work anymore.” You playfully pout and I smile.
“I take it you have money saved aside?” Im enjoying the conversation, but I can’t help but think back on what you were saying only minutes ago.
“Yeah. I saved most of my money when I lived on my own. After my mom passed away, I inherited her belongings as well. Turns out she was putting money aside for me.” By that, I can guess you’re an only child.
“I’m sorry but we’re closing.” I turn to face the waitress and smile. She cut into the conversation, but I’m not mad. It’s getting late and they need to close. We can continue this outside or... maybe at your apartment, if you’ll let me in.
“No problem. We lost track of time.” I point at the both of us and we stand. You slip your bag over your shoulder and we leave shortly after you tip the waitress.
dragons and shit part 3
“Whats up kedda?” i smirked, knowing that me being unprofessional about my collection made him angry made me do it even more, even though sometimes it landed me on bar duty with skye.
I plopped down in one of the three velvet chairs lined up in front of Mr. Kedda’s large oak desk, swinging my feet over the right arm rest before turning my attention to the blue haired man behind the desk.
“Nokina, what have i told you time and time again about doing this.” he asked with a sigh, probably regretting his life choices, kind of like what he does everytime i turn up in his office.
“Don't answer that.” he growled as i was going to give a smart ass remark.
“So your here to turn in your mission report and collect you chronos. But i heard not to long ago that you gave Mr. aca trouble yet again with noodle.” Mr. Kedda said with the most monotone voice he could, seeing as this type of thing happens often. Noodle perked up at the mention of his name before floating over to the shelve of trinkets the blue haired man kept.
“Noodle, don't even think about it.” i warned the spirit dragon before turning back to my boss.
“I don’t know what youre talking about, we didn't get into any trouble, noodle just wants to fly around, you know he’s always cooped up.” I answered his question. The blue haired man shook his head and got up, walking over to the small safe on the other side of the room from me, and put in a code before a beep went off and the safe opened.
“Come get your chronos. And if i have to deal with Mr. Aca again before the northern moon festival is over, you're on bar duty with skye. Do you hear me Nokina?” Mr. Kedda growled, throwing a small sack full of golden coins with the first moon lord’s warn face on both sides of the currency.
“yeah , yeah, you say that everytime i come into collect. But sure. Thanks for the loot, i'll be out with my team on the mission Lord Niroseth gave us, should be about four days till i get back. Come on noodle, lets go get Milia and Favin.” i smiled slipping the small sack into my pocket hidden under the soft blue fabric of the slightly dirty robes as i walked out of Mr. Kedda’s office and down the stairs to the main part of the building, only to be tackled the second my foot hit the warn brown wooden floor of the tavern.
“Nokina!” a low pitched voice shouted as i hit the ground, there was a flash of white, brown and green.
“Favin, if you don't get off me i will sacrifice you to the moon god.” i growled while noodle clawed his way out from under my head.
“But you left me with Milia!” Favin growled back poking my sides, making me squeak as i tried to push the carmel man.
Favin was one of my teammates and always had girls trailing after him around the village, but the twist is that he didn't like any of them, he like this guy that was on an opposite team then us, i think his name was Rhis, which always made me laugh when Favin tried to flirt with his and gets asked out by some random girl from across the village. But Favin had short spiky white hair that popped against his skin, which was the color of carmel. He had big blue-gray eyes and perfectly rounded lips. Favin was a little shorter than me, and had a slightly muscular build that could would go beautifully with Rhis’s.
“Favin get off her before she muals you.” another voice from behind us called as i pushed the snowy haired man off of me and stood up to see Milia standing there with noodle wrapped around her wrist as she pet him.
“Need help?” Rhis asked Favin as he held out his pale hand to him. I could tell Favin must be blushing up a storm at this point. He took Rhis’s hand and stood up, Rhis basically loomed over Favin as he began trying to flirt with the pale man.
“Oh my god Favin is so dorky.” i smirked turning to milia as she nodded.
Milia was on the same same team as Favin and I. we have been friends ever since we both got lost during our first moon festival. , and since then we haven't really been apart, seeing as we were both selected to be on the same teams by lord niroseth when he became leader of the village when we were 13 years old.
“Alright favin, lets go pack up, lets meet at the southern forest entrance and go from there.” i said pulling favin away from Rhis and out the door.
“Oh come on, i was so close to asking him out on a date, Nokina! Why do you have to be so mean?” favin shouted once outside the tavern.
“Because we have a mission to get done, we only have to more after this one and if you don't hurry up and get ready i'm going to make you walk all the way to Kashin springs. Now go.” i exclaimed before pushing the white haired boy in the opposite direction of Milia and I.
“Watch it. God.” Favin sighed, waving to us as he walked down the road.
I rolled my eyes and turned around to face Milia, who shook her head with a lopsided smile that pushed dimples into her slightly purple hued cheeks.
“What? He always complains, then ends up being proud of himself in the end.” i shrieked as we walked towards my apartment building.
“Yeah, yeah i know. Oh here, i kinda stole you dragon.” Milia giggled, pulling the dragon spirit away from her body, handing me the calmed spirit. I quickly took the dragon, placing him in the hood of my cape that tended to trail behind me.
“Thanks. Well i should go pack up, Alvaro will might make yet another huge deal about being safe and what not.” i rolled my electric green eyes.
“I know what you mean, my mom always made me wear knee pads and stuff when we started doing missions. I'll meet you at the southern forest then. Bye” Milia smiled before turning to head her own way.
“Alvaro! Im home!” i exclaimed as i threw the apartment door open
“Hey short stack.” my brother replied, rounding the corner to grin at me.
“ what?” i asked seeing as he never gave me that look. He either has something i need or is giving me something.
“Nothing, just thought you might want to know that your team is going to be promoted.” he smiled widely, walking his way around the corner of the short hallway.
“Really? When?” i asked, bouncing on my toes as my eyes lit up.
“After you last mission for the month. Seeing as your team has alway taken on the missions early and you do them so well, you'll be promoted to your choosing of rank, but you don't all have to be together on a team. Mr.kedda sent this letter not to long ago.” Alvaro exclaimed handing me the slip of crisp clean white paper that smelled like new cologne.
“But i was just in a meeting with him, why didn't he just tell me then?” i asked, looking over the letter, glancing down at the signature scrawled at the bottom of the page.
“I don't know, he might have sent it before you got there, and thought you had already seen i guess.” Alvaro replied walking behind me to pull noodle from the hood of my cape.
“This is awesome! I can't wait!” i shouted running for my room so i could quickly pack up.
           okay before I start she going to choose one. Don't worry if its not the one you wanted her to choose bc its going to be  a Roller coaster  of emotions and a lot of back and forth for awhile  BC I FUCKING LOVE BOTH  OF THESES BOYS. also  there will be smut soon and it wont be vanilla .
                                                        YOUR POV
          "Lets go before they find us" I whispered tugging on Bakugou arm.  He didn't say a word and followed me.  " Lets get some food at the stand" I gave him smile. Bakugou followed me he seem kind of moody though more moody then usual .           " Are you going to say yes?" Was he asking about tododroki. I didn't give much thought to that . I like him  a lot but if I was being honest with myself i had feelings for someone else.       " I dont know I like him a lot and i think it would be amazing. But i also think I have feelings for someone else. To be fair they haven't shown no sign of returning this feeling. Maybe I ought to say yes and forget about the other guy like that" I admitted.        " Who is this other guy" He asked. Why was he so damn interested and how can i tell him its him.         "Not telling" I felt my face getting red. Next thing I Knew I was getting pinned against a wall.           " Tell me" He growled. Why was this bothering him so much. If only he knew that telling him would ruin our friend ship . He would never look at me the way I look at him. because I was made to  be the villan.  Bakugou strive to be perfect at everything and I was not perfect.           " Bakugou Its you stupid" Then I broke free from his grasp . I didn't want t o know his reaction or have him mocked me. I hurried and disappear into the crowd.    Still haven't found any thing to eat my tummy started growl. When I heard my name being called out, The next thing I knew someone dragged me off  somewhere quite. I'm so sick of being pulled around today. It was my dad, Honestly I was relived that it  wasn't Bakugou .        " Hey  I know you and how your going to give it all but You need to make sure your head is clear. Ive been studying and your powers  feed off you emotions.  I want to make sure you have a clear head" he said worriedly .  OH god I'm screwed my head is far  from clear.         "  Yeah I'm not focusing on anything right now except for winning" I said and I fake smiled.          " that's Great I Know your going to make me proud. I may be rooting midoryia but Your my number one and I hope you win more." He smiled. Pulled me and for a hug.           " Thank you dad and don't worry Ill cut all there throats open" I laughed.      Then it was time to to go back to the arena.  Time  to face bakugou mental and physical . I think mentally would be harder to do.  Midnight call me and bakugou to fight first.  I try not to think about what had conspire between us earlier. I need to focus to keep my head cleared.              We both step into the ring. Bakugou goes to attack me and I dodge it just in time. Then I Blast one of my purple fire balls at him and he dodge to . This was really upsetting, and I  Take one of my shadow hands out and it wraps around his body. I started to think about how he never loses. He was perfect and every way and would make a fine super hero one day.   something you'll never be  the voice was back again.
                                                 Bakugou  POV
She had her hand wrapped around me. I  had to escape and then I saw  Her starting to levitate off the ground. Her eyes flash purple there was a gasp from the crowd.  She slam hard into the ground  with the shadow hand. She was Going to kill me.        I jump up and fired another explosion at her this time using more force.  She shield it and then made a big shadowy fist at the ground causing it to erupt . I almost fell but then I caught my balance.  This time I used my full force now that I knew it wouldn't hurt her too bad.       The explosion was so big she couldn't shield it. She was on the ground and lay there for several of seconds.  I walked over her to see if I have won and if she was okay. She started to get back up again and she grabbed a whole of me again.      She grabbed me so tight with the shadow arm I couldn't breath.  My face started to turn purple I was pretty sure I was going to die.  The crowed was screaming to let me go But she wouldn't listen.   " Y/n Please let me go I cant breathe" I try to say but she didn't hear or listen. She wouldn't do this on purpose.  Something was seriously wrong . this was not her. " Y/n Please I love you" at that point I didn't fucking care if the whole crowed thought I was a simp . I love her and I need her to came back. Her eyes turn back to e/c when I said that.    " Bakugou" she gasps and then dropped me. I could barley move I'm pretty sure she won but she just stared at me. Her eyes started to tear up. " I give up" she yelled. Then ran out of the arena . They announced me winner and The nursing girl came to heal up my minor wounds.  I was livid that I won that way. She threw the fight.
                                                                   Y/N POV
     I Brought shame on my dad and my school. I brought shame on myself. The whole world watch it happen too. They watch me turn into a monster. I almost killed bakugou and He never going to want anything to do with me again. I sat outside the stadium on the ground.  I'm no hero I cant even go and face what I done.       I must of sat there for hours and hours. It was finally dark and everyone left. it started  to  pour down rain.   I decided to go back into the arena to pick up my bag and stuff.  It was dark except for a couple security lights. I found my bag when I heard a familiar voice.       " Tch where did you go?" Bakugou asked. Was he still talking to me.        " heard you won congratulation"  I gave him a smile. The air was so cold I could see my own breath.
                                            BAKUGOU POV
 " THATS NOT HOW I WANTED TO WIN" he yelled. " YOU GAVE UP THAT FIGHT WAS YOURS"        " I almost killed you .  I was created for one reason and one reason only. The whole now know so to. I let you guys down and I let my dad down. How can I be the princess of peace when I cant even find peace in my own head.  I'm done," I said  tears started to pour out my eyes.        " IF i was the bad guy you would of won. Your powerful and just because its hard your going to pack up then Your not who I thought you were " he scoffed.         " I almost kill you and maybe next time I will. I care about you too much for that to happen" I cried. I started to turn away.  He grabbed my wrist and pulled me agaisnt him.        " I know you wont. You stop because your good and you over came it. we just have to work on it. Please stay if not for yourself then the million you could save with that power.         " I dont know how I stopped myself. All I remeber is blacking out and then waking to see me almost killing youself." I explain.             " I said something to you and then you just snapped out of it" He said nervously .              " Oh well what did you say" I asked.  This could help me find the answer.      " I told you I Love you"  He blushed. This was a side of him I never seen before. I think im falling to. Todoroki was important to me but in the end bakugou been here.  I wasnt sure if I was ready to say it back. I grabbed his face and kiss him. He started kissing back first it was soft but then its starts to get more rough and passionate. He grabbed my ass and pulled me agaisnt him. despite the freezing rain , I felt warm.               He pulled away but remain eye contact with me as he pulled something out of his of his jacket. It was a small box and he handed it to me. " I wanted to give this to you when I ask you out after I won the festival correctly . That didn't go as I plan but I still want to win your heart. please accept this and be my girl. I never done this soft shit and I'm sorry if it not something I'm going to show everyday. Your worth taking my pride down a little I guess" His face was red.       I open it up and it was a sliver bracelet with his name on it and diamonds. It was beautiful and way too much. I had no idea what to say. " Yes Ill be yours" he pulled me into a tight  hug.      " lets go to my place you need to get out of the rain and getting late" he said gently. It almost scared me the way he was being so kind.                                                                      Bakugou POV         We arrived at my place. She look like she was about to past out. Today was a lot on all of us. I didn't really won the sports festival but at least I won the girl. I just got to keep that damn icy hot away from her. I wanted to rip the necklace off of her that he gave her. She mine now.        " Hey you stupid bitch your late" my mom bitch. No good job bakugou or nothing.         " Fuck you too hoe" I said back flipping her off. She was about to really yell, until she saw Y/n  come in after me.             " Hey Y/n nice to see you again. I saw you tonight you should of just kill him and not worry about it' she laugh. The fucking old hag meant as a joke. Y/n face turn white though.  I grabbed her hand and lead her up to my bedroom. She seem like she was still half in a daze.        " Lets get out of these wet clothes. You can wear anything of mine for now." I said awkwardly. I knew we were dating but I didn't know her boundaries . There so much I want to do with her. She needed sleep tonight though. we both did.   she started to strip off in my room.  Oh, she wasn't paying attention to anything really. I couldn't help but to watch in amazement though. She took  off her clothes and strip down till she was naked. I had to use all my self control to not do anything. then she put on one of my T-shirts that looked like a dress on her and then a pair of my boxers.  I strip down to nothing and but my boxers and laid on my bed.     " come here princess" I yawned. She crawled into bed and laid on top of me. She feel asleep instantly but then here phone started going off. I  Pick it up and looks at it.  Deku: hey are you alright. Me and your dad are really worried.    Damn deku fucking worrying about my girl. I didn't want to give her a dad the pro hero a reason to hate me though. Me: yeah I'm fine just staying at a friend house. I'm really sleepy so I'm going to go to bed.   Then there was other messages on the screen so I looked. Todo: hey  Y/n I'm so worried about you. When you see this please answer and I was wondering if we could meet up tomorrow to talk about today and I have something I wanna ask you. I hope your safe and sleeping well beautiful. Oh hell  no. She mine and he going to back the fuck off.  I took a pictures of her sleeping on my chest and I sent it. Me: she mine and she sleeping fine thank you. Back the fuck off  she mine now!!!!!! Todo: I see for now that may be it. I don't give up and I especially wont stop until she mine. You well slip and when you do ill be there for her. Your impulsive and abusive and don't deserve her. Me: You come any where near her your dead I blocked his number from her phone.  I wrapped my arms tight around her and I pass out.    The sun filled the room waking me up. She was still asleep. She was so beautiful and peaceful when she sleep.  Her phone started buzzing causing her to wake.   " Where my phone" she sat up straight looking for it. I handed it to her. The number didn't have a caller id. She scrunch her nose in confusion.     " Hello who is this " she answered.      " Todoroki, are you alright?" I heard him answered.  Great rich boy has more then one phone.     " Yes, what happen to your old phone number?"      " Long story, where are you at?"     " Bakugou house, why whats wrong?" she asked worriedly     " Ill be there In 20" he said and then hung up.  " Do you have anything else I can where by chance?" she asked   " I think you look fine in that Idiot" I snorted grabbing her wait.   " I cant go out like this" she said digging though the bag of mina and kiri clothes that they leave here.      " Your not going anywhere with him and no way in hell wearing that" She hold up a short pink dress of mina. Mina was shorter then Y/n so this dress was gonna not cover anything. She took off my shirt and put on the dress anyways not listening to me at all.    She grabbed my hair brush and tied it back out her face. she look stunning even though she didn't try and its for him.  " I fucking mean it your not going anywhere with him" I yelled.   " Chill out you have to trust me. He one of my friends and I'm yours so don't worry" she said try reassuring me. I almost lost her to him though. He going to try all Kinds of flirty shit. I cant be okay with this but I have too. She will leave if I'm too controlling.   " One hour then come back" I grumbled.  " I have to go home afterwards and talk to my dad" She sigh. She was right even though I wanted some time with her. The door bell ring and I hurried up to open it. IT was half and half baster.   " Leave your hands off of her and no flirty shit or I will Murder you" I screamed and then Y/n push me put of the way. I grabbed her and kiss her so fucking hard in front of him. She push me away and laughed.     " I'm sorry about him" she said. Walking out of the door with him. I kept trying to talk myself out of following them. I decided to invite shitty hair over to distract me.
