Just a curious question but how many times have y'all listened the Outsiders Musical cast album? I know I've listened at least 11 times, but then I'll just get a random song stuck in my head at the moment and have to listen to it so I know I've heard every song over a dozen times. (Throwing In the Towel is on my playlist twice cause of the MV so I know I've listened to it over 22 times.)

If I had to film a music video for this song, I would build a set like this, with very tall walls and no ceiling, a bathtub with a horse (puppeteered by two performers inside of it) in it. Basically the POV would be turning around the horse slowly. Then, each piece of the room would have it's own insert shot: the tile window, the mirror dresser, the clock, the shoes and the door. By the end, it would start to rain. The lighting would still be mostly the same, but the rain would fill the bathtub. Unbeknownst to the viewer, inside the bathtub is a portal, which would be opened by the rain, and in the horse would fall, morphing into a (horse) mermaid, that would swim away into the deep blue ocean. the end

Neotheater is an absolutely wild album bc they somehow put the dread of growing up, and the pressure to do something with your life, and the gradual loss of blind optimism about the world as you get older, and the feelings of clinging to the past because everyone around you seems to be growing up better than you, in one album
