“what the absolute fuck is that?”

your voice echoes through the room, causing seungmin to jerk up. his slightly sore muscles from exercising moments ago tensed, a hiss escaping his lips.

“what do you mean, angel?” his voice was soft. your eyes scanned him up and down, mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water. seungmin was scared, to be frank. you never were so distressed about… anything, really.

“this, dumbass!” you whined and turned your phone to face him.

your boyfriend’s eyes widened upon seeing the picture he shared with villains today. his rib reveal tattoo, to be specific. he didn’t think you’d mind, it’s not like he didn’t share pictures of his chest or arms before. 

“villains get to see your tattoo before me?” you grunted and tucked your phone away “and, and… what even is that behavior, seungmo?!” 

crossing your arms and looking away, he started to understand what was your issue.

seungmin returned to his previous position before you barged into his bedroom and leaned his back against the wall. scanning your face, only to notice the flushed cheeks and nervous lip biting, he was certain what was it really about.

“you don’t have to be jealous, you know, angel” he hummed, a satisfied smirk forming on his face when he saw your eyes widen now. gotcha, that was exactly it. or maybe… “are you shy?”

“no!” you replied a bit faster and louder than intended, so you cleared your throat “no, not at all. i see men’s bare chest allll the time”

“oh really?” seungmin scoffed, clearly amused. you were so cute, he was about to burst “don’t say that or i’ll get jealous too”

“yeah, it was a lie. other men aren’t such sluts” you giggled and saw his eyes roll. obviously he liked the attention, you didn’t even blame him for that. but still…

you let out a deep sigh and plopped next to him onto the bed.

“i guess just give ma a warning next time…” your quiet murmur was followed by a sudden, sharp inhale.

seungmin lifted his back slowly and leisurely, almost teasingly, took his shirt off. the sun peeking through the window shone on his bare skin, making the tone of it even more honey colored and contrasting with the white sheets perfectly. then it hit you like a train, and a wave of heat spilled over your body. his perfectly toned stomach is on display and you are staring at it like a dog at a piece of meat–

“like what you see?” he asked with a boyish smirk. one hand traveling to rest under his head, atop of that his arm muscles flexing.

turning your gaze away, you bit the inside of your cheek. when you wanted to scold him about the picture, you didn’t expect him to do this. seungmin is still opening up to you, being the timid person he is, and skinship in your relationship so far only consisted of handholding, hugging and kisses. not that you minded, you enjoyed taking time and slowly but surely building your relationship based on trust. 

but this… 

“ah, come on. don’t be shy now” he hummed smugly, observing your eyes trace back to his exposed skin. 

“are you okay with… yknow…” you stuttered, not even able to finish your thought. seungmin giggled, possibly killing you inside even more. wanting to hide from his sight, a bit overwhelming at the moment, you leaned and laid next to him. burying your face in his neck seungmin could feel the heat radiating off it. 

“i’m fine. villains got to see it, so you should too, hm? besides, it’s gonna be summer soon. get used to this sight, angel” he said and his other hand traced down to your waist. drawing small circles on your skin, you sighed. 

“you’re way too cocky” with a mumble, you fixed your position a bit and saw his stomach again. you could see the way it rose up and down rhythmically and you were wondering if he was in distress as much as you were. 

suddenly you noticed the ink on his rib and smiled softly. 

“can i…” you gulped, shyly. it took him a while before realizing what you meant. with a gentle nod, you decided to reach out slowly. 

as you traced the tattoo subtly, almost feather-lightly as if scared that you will hurt him, the skin underneath your fingertips was hot and tender. only when you did that, seungmin’s composure fell apart - like a building made out of legos - and his breath hitched. 

he never showed the tattoo to anyone (well, besides villains now), not to mention touching it. but he enjoyed the intimacy of the gesture. seugmin adored the way you were so careful with it, love and care in your eyes.

“what does it mean?” you whispered, the weight of this moment bringing a sudden realization of how quiet it is in the room. 

“always be thankful six nine nine nine oh two” your boyfriend’s voice had a tint of melancholy in it, casing your heart to melt. it was what the tattoo said. “those are the birth years of my parents, brother and me” 

you hummed in acknowledgement, smiling. you leaned a bit closer and pecked the tattoo. then you returned to your previous position and rested your head in the crook of your neck. 

basking in the quiet and calm moment, at the verge of falling asleep, you heard seungmin’s wiper as he pulled you closer.

- glorias battle style is full-frontal attack. she doesnt think, she just does. none of her pokemon have any moves that are for stat boosts, healing, anything. just pure attack moves. she figures if she REALLY needs healing or stat boost she can just do it artificially through items, so her bag is always heavy with stuff she might need

- hop tries to do more strategy-based things. i think he doesn’t realize it, but he IS the smarter of the two and intellectualizes too much. tries to set up an advantage on the battlefield through other moves but by the time hes ready to attack gloria is,.. wiping the floor with his team.

- in this sense i actually think zacian fits gloria better than zamazenta but because i have sheild she gets zamazenta LMFAOO maybe ying yang kinda thing then??????

- gloria is very affectionate!!!! shes really good at comforting, talking to little kids, making people feel encouraged, etc!!! even though hop is her rival, every time hes like “I’ll win next time!!” she’d respond with something like “I’m rooting for you!!“ or “Do your best!!!!!”

- A little more on glorias battle style, shes not very patient, so she tries to get as many 1HKO’s as possible. She HATES those long, dreary, boring battles with like, both pokemon have low accuracy, high defense, slow poison killing, she HATES THAT SHIT!!!!

- So her battles are always really electrifying and exciting. If you get up to use to the bathroom in the middle of the match it WILL be over by the time you come back

- She exclusively trains in the wild area. Everyone else recognizes that dynamax pokemon are aggressive and dangerous except gloria, who goes flying around on her flygon seeking out dynamax pokemon for fun

- Because of this she has been known to be a dynamax master, and has even taken Dynamax pokemon multiple times without dynamaxing herself (and piers gets really excited about this)

- but no one really knows that its her going around the wild area??? (i kinda hc a little post-game subplot where there’s reports of a mysterious figure roaming the wild area capturing dynamax pokemon, so hop/sonia/leon go to investigate this strange person all “Maybe they know more about dynamaxing than we do!” so they go through the wild area researching and trying to find this person the media dubbed “the desert siren” fhdjks and at the end of it its just gloria in like sandstorm clothing and goggles and as soon as she sees hop shes all “Hop!!!!!!!” like a puppy and just runs over to him and gives him a tight hug around his neck) 

- She likes hugging hop!!! The soft fluff of his jacket is comforting!!!! And they have a good height difference so that her head falls just right on his jacket fluff

- They start to get crushes on each other throughout the journey. Specifically it started about around the time bede waged psychological warfare on hop LMFAOOO!!!!!

- Because she would spend extra time making sure he was okay, encouraging him, they go get food to cheer him up, he watches all her of matches and watches how strong and amazing shes becoming

- But the feelings don’t go into FULL OVERDRIVE until post-game/post-postgame. After hop bonds with zacian and gains his confidence back and becomes sonias assistant, like the whole time gloria had this warmth and happiness in her chest whenever she saw him but NOW ITS LIKE A FIRE

- Specifically like when zacian went uwu for hop and she was like..,,“.,..i love him. I just. Love him. i cant explain it away or blame it on any one thing im just. i love him. husband” on the inside and it makes her happy and SO NERVOUS

- And hop fell BAD during the post-game too, watching her be the amazing confident champion she is like she was born for it, while she also CONSTANTLY MADE SURE HE WAS OKAY AND CARED FOR HIM,. AND THEN WATCHING HER BATTLE ALL THESE DYNAMAX POKEMON LIKE A BADASS HES JUST STANDING THERE LIKE “I…might……love her..”

- and after the last battle in the slumbering weald,it felt like the world disappeared around them and its just. Her and him in this moment with the legendary wolves in battle and it was like fate. like all hes ever wanted and hes standing there like “I think I love her”

- And as more time passes, she keeps coming to visit him at the lab, and they go adventuring in the wild area and go to the slumbering weald to hang out and de-stress and it turns into “OH FUCK I LOVE HER A LOT”

- and at some time to the point where he mentioned a few times like “I’m not a hero” or “I never felt like a hero” in some tight hug, soft moment of reassurance, gloria just drops a bomb on his heart and like really softly tells him something like “You’re my hero, Hop. You always will be.” and HE EXPLODES. 

- And while hop is sonias assistant, he also starts using leons old workout stuff for a hobby when he goes home, and (I headcanon them at 16 at the start of the journey) hes still a growing boy so REALLY SOON he gets. Hot. Really hot. Like leon is already VERY HANDSOME and hop is his brother. Its only natural. Theyre an attractive family.

seriously, one time they were on a mission and both coran and allura were there for diplomatic reasons and the prince of the alien planet started getting fresh with allura. coran swoops in.gently takes his hands. leads him away from allura looking into his eyes. he’s got the most charming voice and smile ad says something like “ i can see the universe in your eyes” tHE ALIEN IS DEAD HE’S ENDED.

has TONS of tiny scars on his hands from mechanic work but they’re so fucking smooth and soft like a little baby hand. everytime he takes them off u can hear someone running down the hall “GLOVES OFF” and someone dives to the ground to hold his hand

WANTS TO FIGHT EVERYTHING? 

i mean he’s very diplomacy first and shit but if someones down to fight or threatening the paladins... gloves off. he socks them right in the face and starts a huge fight which he wins. it’s actually a little scary.like he’s all dirty and torn up and wiping blood from his nose with his knuckles and spits on the guy he just pummled. the guy is crying. he turns back to the paladins with a wide grin and and goofy laugh “sore losers am i right ;-)”

allura can beat him in a fair fight and he doesn’t hold back (too much) 

hands shake when anxious and gets real clumsy. ;ike theres a line. normally he has sturdy hands, if he’s nervous or anxious or paranoid they shake like the devil and he trips over stuff and you want to keep him out of the mechanic room (unfortunately thats the first place he’ll go) however he can stitch up your wound faster than lightning, and is very calm in the face of real hardcore danger

GOD HE GETS SO ANXIOUS ABT HIM SOMETIMES LIKE coran will do something incredibly dangerous like hanging from the rafters upside down (he’s done it so many times) or going days on end without sleep (really it’s for a project) or engineering something with dangerous substances that often can and will blow up in his face ( i s2g i will save u from another explosion)

complains to the paladins about the shit coran makes him go through but also wouldn’t have it any other way

Pidge:

TERRIBLE INFLUENCE ON HIM

both of them will collaborate on a project and then you won’t see them for days.

they live in the Castle Basement where they do experiments and shit. Pidge is worse than Coran about sleep so they have a couch down there that coran will carry pidge to and lay her on if she falls asleep during work.

if pidge is with him, coran makes sure to schedule breaks and snack times so pidge doesnt crash horribly. he brings her food and makes sure they don’t stay cooped up for weeks.

pidge knows this which is why she helps him so often ( that and she really enjoys learning new altean tech and hanging w him) 

will march in and drag coran from a project if she thinks he needs to take a break or a NAP 

Hunk: 

hunk loves to draw and sketch and whittle and stuff in his spare time! coran can barely hold a pencil. hunk teaches him how to draw and paint and coran just loves it so much. “coran what are you painting” “it’s a sworlump” “it looks nice” 

in turn coran teaches hunk how to whittle. hunk has shaky hands so learning this is helping him be more confident with his strokes and dexterity! 

hunk can FIND coran. he’s got a detector. he senses him. if corans sick or smthng or injured but trying to hide it he can sniff it out like a hound dog and is the only one that can actually get him to rest or visit the medbay. usually ends up carrying him there. i love hunk. 

Keith: 

it’s not that he doesn’t worry about coran (he does a lot) he just gets pissed a lot bc he doesnt get why coran can’t see how important he is. 

but also trust coran to know his limits 

wants coran to spot him when he trains bc if he’s training with the other paladins he has to keep a stoic face and perfect form. but since he does it to burn out stress, he gets really messy and emotional and nasty when he does it. like he’ll get so frustrated and cry and tear shit up and halfheartedly swing his bayard until he’s all drained. 

coran doesnt ever judge and makes sure he doesn’t go past his limits or something. can calm him down if he’s super distressed without it feeling patronizing. 

Shiro:

SHIRO HAS A MAJOR CRUSH ON CORAN LMFAOOO

GETS FLUSTERED AROUND HIM ALL THE TIME

can train comfortably with coran as well as allura! but allura is sometimes too intense for him and he needs someone who is really in control of the whole thing. coran knows how to disable his arm if things get too wack. coran is a really good parter to spar with bc he likes to do funny banter and keeps shiro from getting lost in his head. 

shiro will eat anything coran hands him without hesitation. everyone else is??

turns out shiro has no taste buds but it makes coran happy so

coran once had to carry shiro out of battle bridal style and shiro couldn’t stop blushing for hours 

Allura: 

they’re so mischievous together lmfao

you’d think coran would be the one to be like “no allura you could get hurt!!” but unless it’s a huge life or death situation he’s such an enabler for her and vice versa. “HEY ALLURA I BET YOU CAN’T SHOOT THIS APPLE FROM KETIHS HEAD LL THE WAY FROM THE BRIDGE” “coran you fool i am the strongest one on this ship i can do anything” They’ll both find the most dangerous animal on whatever planet they’re on and ride it. coran used to be against her drinking and stuff but now that theres been a war going on they’ll basically do shots together and talk abt altea.
