Offering is about the death and rebirth of the self through radical self love, and the subjection of the self to the intimacy of being known.

As a self portrait, it portrays me— a queer, disabled, intersex creator— in a carnal light. This piece accepts itself by finding beauty in disaster, and as blood flows from the lips to the hips, it invites the viewer to explore internal notions of love and loss.

Offering invokes the all consuming drive to survive traumatic situations, even after being transformed by them.
