I'm not too sure if the relationship goes like everyone dates everyone or just everyone dates you,, I think that's up to your own view

So I think they would've been dating before you came into the picture

Let's say you met one of them in any way you can think of which isn't awkward I guess? Like met at a bookstore or something and looking for a book but it's on a shelf you can't reach

From there on it just goes like the boys do their thing and you just kinda befriend the guy you met for a while (aka texting yano?)

So when he decides to introduce you to his boyfriends

ANON YOURE SOOOO SO SWEET I LOVE YOU SO MUCH im sorry that you have to struggle with a lot of the things I talked about too :( once you realize you might be autistic or have adhd or something similar it completely reframes your entire life up to that point, especially if you're a bit older and apart of a generation that really doesn't understand it. like I've spent so much of my life being told I was unstable and emotional and having people genuinely be afraid of me because of my meltdowns but because I didn't know it was my autism that had me respond that way, absolutely nothing I did worked. my bipolar medication only ever made me feel worse and I didn't realize it's because I'm not bipolar. therapy never works because I'm genuinely horrible at figuring out how I feel until way after the fact, all I can do in the moment is remove myself and wait to calm down and sometimes that takes literally an entire day but idk how else to remain in control when I'm overwhelmed lol

and even when you try to explain it as best you can, people don't get it, and I think what makes it especially hard for people like us who don't realize were autistic until later in life is that we have to figure out how to navigate the world pretty much entirely by ourselves. no one in my family understands, and the only friends I have who understand are people who have known their whole lives that they were autistic, but its not their job to guide me through it anyway so I'm like. almost 30 and just now realizing why so much shit that's supposed to be normal feels like it's impossible for me

im not sure how old you are anon or when you realized you might be autistic, but I'm so sorry that you have to go through something like this lol. I hope it gets easier for the both of us

thank u so much because I actually felt really terrible about that fic because the voice I used for it was hard to maintain (I write in a Victorian inspired style normally so writing in the voice a petulant 17 year old boy in 2003 would have was difficult to say the least) and because of how badly structured it was during the entire process, like. being able to string together a cohesive narrative was a miracle all on its own

but ur absolutely right I'm gonna be working on a sequel sometime soon and its gonna b about futct, I actually have a plan for this to be a series so hopefully it'll flow a lot better now that I have an actual idea for what I'm doing LOL
