Summary: since moving in with König, there was something missing. Furniture.

You had seen my fair share of battles and had been through a lot in your military career. But despite the chaos and danger, you had found love in the form of König, a fellow soldier whom you had been dating for a while. You two had recently moved in together and were excited to start your new life in our cozy little apartment. One day, we decided to go furniture shopping at IKEA. It was a fun and exciting experience, as we browsed through the different displays and imagined how each piece would look in our home. You both laughed and joked around, enjoying each other's company and the thrill of starting this new chapter in your lives. After a successful shopping trip, König surprised you by taking you to a cute little restaurant nearby. You two sat outside on the patio, enjoying the warm summer breeze and each other's company. König ordered both of your orders and talked about your future plans and dreams, feeling grateful for the love and support you both had found in each other. When you got home, you started to assemble your new furniture. It was a bit of a challenge, but you two worked together as a team, following the instructions and making sure everything was in its right place. As music played softly in the background, you suddenly got up and started to dance. König looked at you with a smile, amused by your sudden burst of energy. You held out my hand and asked him, "Care to join? My love?" He pushed himself up from the floor and took your hand, joining you in the middle of the living room. You both swayed to the music, laughing and twirling around, feeling completely free and happy in that moment. It was a beautiful reminder that no matter what challenges you two faced in your military careers, you always had each other to lean on and find joy in the simple things in life. As the night went on, you had finished assembling your furniture and collapsed onto the couch, exhausted but content. You both had cuddled up together, feeling grateful for your love and the life you were now building together. It was a beautiful moment that you both would always cherish, a reminder that even in the midst of chaos and danger, love and happiness could still be found.

How my Friday night is going 😂😅 11pm and building my new chest of drawers! Didn't think my life could get anymore exciting 🤪😂! It's fun tho and after weeks of thinking and planning this project, it's nice to see it coming together!

Plus the vodka and cokes are helping make the build more enjoyable 😃🙈 feel free to say hey or send asks! I'm off to send some positive anons before getting back to building 😃🤪

My Ikea shelves arrived today, on the same day and roughly the same time as the monthly cleaning service my roommates have, so this is where I had room* to build the 3 piece unit

It used to look like this

Ngl I feel like the garbage lady from Labyrinth in my room today

I dropped the second larger unit's box trying to get done, and it slid down the stairs, so I'm awaiting my roommate getting off work so I can get his help bringing it here to finish up

For now:

Oh, they also sent me the height extension pieces for all three of these, bc I bought it as a single unit. But my ceiling is too low for that, so I'm making them into a side unit for beside my chair later

Laundry hamper under that one, second one on top for books, and the single one higher still for my lamp? Stay tuned.
