Was this... was this a confession letter !? a declaration of undying love to the mightiest emperor of Rome !? Pink tainted lips were quick to part open in pure blissfulness and surprise as soon as her thin digits took hold of the blessed envelope. 

With a heart racing under her chest like a wild bird refusing to stay locked on a cage and a mind who was begining to think of all the tender and loving words the pristine looking envelope she was holding in between her hands could carry, she couldn´t help but wonder..... This could perfectly be a marriage proposal for all she knew! or perhaps a letter of a timid secret admirer..Whatever it was, her heart knew it only carried love inside of it, she simply knew it!

it actually took the emperor a couple of seconds to calm the never ending tingling sensation inside her heart before she was able to properly open the letter, and once she took a deep breath, the first thing her eyes divised were the name..... "𝐇𝐢𝐣𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐓𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐳𝐨" adressed at the top (not the big title that said “restraining order”, absolutely not)

❝ Hijikata Toshizo...! my most beloved...! ❞ She dramatically exclaimed with a longing sigh as she placed the back of her hand against her forehead as she began to feel her entire body starting to melt. Of course it had to be him! how could she even think of anyone else! to his terrible....terrible bad luck, she didn´t even waste time in reading what the paper actually consisted on, and by flipping it in the air, she was now storming off to find him...She had to answer to him that....

        Of course she would marry him !
