I’ve seen people frequently refer to Rebekah as loyal, and I don’t necessarily agree with that. I see Rebekah as loyal to a certain point, but ultimately she is really only loyal to herself and she is lowkey very selfish. It makes sense that she would be selfish because she was only 15/16 when she was turned (even though she’s portrayed by someone much older). The frontal cortex of her brain wasn’t fully developed and it will never be. She doesn’t have the capacity to fully understand the long term consequences of her actions and her cognitive skills aren’t the same level as a developed adult.  My Canon OTP:  Marbekah My Non-canon OTP:  HAYBEKAH !!!
