context: I'm writing a LONG wip (should be 55 chapters, an actual epic story with action and plot though romantic destiel filter) and I'm thinking about when i should start posting it. Generally I'd want to finish first and post afterwards, so i can update regularly and not be distracted from the actual writing, but it's gonna take me way too long to finish it (like two years realistically??) so I'm thinking maybe i might start posting it before, even if less regularly? So i can share it with you earlier and you can engage with me as i write it?

It's set in a canon divergent season 15 that is completely different from the one we got and will lead to a completely different ending for the show.

Basically I came up with this idea while I was watching s14 and i was thinking about how the show might've ended. And i got the silliest prompt (that actually wasn't a prompt at all, it was just a silly idea for funsies 😂 *truly the silliest*) and then i started mentally adding scenes to it for my own enjoyment and soon and unexpectedly a more-serious-yet-foggy bigger plot background for this story started to form in my mind... and i imagined how the last scene of SPN would've been as a result of all that (and i wrote it all down in my notes).

In the meantime i finished the show and I was disappointed enough to see that it wasn't anything like the story i had envisioned... but it was too good and big and epic in my mind so i decided to properly develop it and i began writing this fic.

The thing about it being so big and epic (and long) is it's taking me forever to write 🥲 *but I'm working on it*.

I'm honestly so excited and i can't wait to share it with y'all 🖤😭 but all i can do until then is talk about it and tease it a little bit, so if you've got more questions about it please bring it on!! <33

FUN FACT: I listened to this song on repeat for like 4 hours that evening while i was writing chapter 11 of my wip ICYNITD cause it was the song inspiration for the mood of the chapter

I have 2 wips at the moment, my long one ICYNITD and a *mysterious* short one that I'm hoping to post by the end of January (maybe for Dean's birthday?).

This line is from the *mysterious* short one. It's not actually the last line i wrote (because that would be spoilery), and it's not exactly one single line either, but it's still in the latest paragraphs and makes sense as a stand alone to be shared without context:

A soft smile spreads on Cas’ lips—and Dean almost faints at it. He thinks he feels his legs stop working, and he wonders just how many more parts of his body can start malfunctioning at this pace, by Cas’ closeness and presence.

It didn’t use to be like this.
