Also to everyone on this post who keeps asking if they're toxic to cats, they are not. They are completely non toxic, at least, phalaenopsis orchids are not. If you get into any exotic orchids you SHOULD look up the species just to be safe - ladies slippers orchids, for example, have toxic sap that's irritating to humans and, presumably, cats - but for the common type of orchid you'll find in big box stores, there's no danger.

However, just because a plant is not toxic does not mean it won't cause any issues. Orchid leaves and petals have a lot of fibre and if your cat makes a habit of eating them instead of just nibbling at it, it could still give them belly aches and change the consistency of their poop. Overall though they're a very safe plant to keep around pets.

I started with succulents like everyone else but tbh orchids are rapidly becoming my plant blorbos. Everyone takes care of them wrong and it's not your FAULT because the care instructions that come with them are!! Incorrect!!! If you do what they say then your orchid will die!!!! If you give them the right environment they're SO easy. They're such easy plants to grow. They have been UNFAIRLY SLANDERED by a MISINFORMATION campaign. They don't deserve this.

Hi I hope you are having a good day! In regards to the Nesta stans, I completely get it. I have found myself in a similar situation with some Feyre stans. On multiple occasions the toxic ones have wished grape upon Nesta stans and said that they need to be abused. It has gotten out of hand on both sides and SJM definitely needs to address it to some extent.

Oh, I know. Don't worry I'm aware there's at least one toxic fan in each side of the fandom and trust me I have blocked every single one that I come across. I'm not saying Feyre, Rhys, or IC fans don't have one rotten apple.

I think last night was my last straw. Every day I see at least one anti*Feyre/Rhys/IC in their tags and it seems like they talk more than half of the time about their dislike of other characters than their favs. And it seems they hate every other character in these books except Nesta... like why do you keep reading the books if you hate everything about them? There are 2.5 books dedicated to IC (and they're gonna be in the future books as well, specially Feysand) Idk how you managed to keep reading them all cause if I so much as not vibing with a book, I don't even bother to read the rest let alone dislike the book.

The worst part is most of them also find a way to defend abusive characters like Tam/in and Er/s. I don't have a problem if you like these characters but I draw the line where people try to sell them as saints and "misunderstood" characters and at the same time bring down other characters against the canon to bold these…

The same goes with Nesta but my difference with others is I acknowledged her abusive behaviour and I still like her. I acknowledged she had trauma but I never use it as an excuse to prove she hasn't done anything wrong. I don't excuse her actions because she's a woman (because I've seen them do it) I like her character as she is and I definitely won't change the canon to justify her actions…

I'm always in Feyre, Rhys, or Feysand tags and it hasn't gone by a day when people are not defending their favs against these awful takes. And even if they're talking about Nesta and tag it as anti*Nesta, they're mostly talking the truth lol. Like I've seen better character analysis from some of antis about Nesta than her fans which is laughable.

You don't have to worry about me starting to talk shit about Nesta lmao I'm not vile like them and I'll definitely won't make it my whole personality and dedicate my blog to it. I rather stan my favs and create a safe place with almost zero hate for any character (I'm a human I need to hate on something sometimes😭) and be respectful to everyone. And if I don't like a blog? Well, I simply block them easily as that. I've had blocked Feysands, Eluciens, and Gwynriels. It's nothing strange cause idc if we have the same interest in some parts but if I see them disrespectful toward any character or anyone, idc if we share 100% opinions on other things, you're blocked bye :)

And sjm should definitely do something but she's thriving on these things because she doesn't care if it's a bad take or a disrespectful comment, people are talking about her books and it's a free promotion for her. Didn't you see how they barely promoted hofas? it was almost nonexistent…

So I completely lost hope in her. People might say she's protecting herself from these, well… if she is then she shouldn't have any problem with people leaving her fandom because of this toxicity and being so disconnected from the fans.

MY CRITIC RED FLAG ⁉️⁉️⁉️ 😳 If people wanna block me or shoot me on sight IDK...

I love She-ra and the Princesses of Power & Catradora (or at least the version of it in my head) with all my heart. Catra was a character I used to cope with my Cluster B traits growing up and her & Adora are both the rawest depictions of BPD (Catra-only) & NPD I've ever seen in my life. I love the character dynamics within the show in general and to this day, I've never found another show where the interactions have as much complexities or different interpretations as She-ra.

With that being said, I think they both act toxic & arguably abusive to each other (with only Catra being called out & getting a redemption arc that even then I have issues with) and I wish the narrative did something with that much more. I dislike the mainstream fandom ignoring a lot of their problems & even framing certain behaviors (mostly Adora's) as romantic. However, I also hate the anti-Shera crowd pushing aside Adora's toxic behavior, but this is unsurprising to me considering how in interviews (that I've seen at least) with N.D. Stevenson and the voice actors, it's clear a lot of subtext to Adora's character, especially her NPD traits, were overlooked by the writers themselves. Her controlling behavior was often turned into simply "caring too much" and her status as the main character that we are meant to see ourselves in as we follow along with the story stops most people from questioning her motivations & seeing her as anything more than just "Her trauma made her kinder! But to everyone except herself :(".

I've rewatched it a few days, but one day I'd like to rewatch in order to post my own analysis. I WILL block both fans and critics on my account, either if you're being nasty or frankly I don't have the energy to respond. Leaving the DSP fandom is such a wise choice. The elitism on one hand of all the people shipping the toxic ships (which theyre totally allowed to do but holy fuck are they obnoxious and condescending) and then on the other hand all the rampant death-threats-loving antis. I left as well, but regrettably much later than you. Sometimes I miss drawing my blorbos but it's a fair price to pay 💀

From the elitist attitude's I seen during the time I stayed in there, most of them came from sat*ivl*s shippers for the most part and I remember some going ballistic when ppl say they don't ship STNIVL (I remember saying I shipped Satalil but then I got semi anon hate complaining about to me how bad lil is which made me ended up shipping them even more) And ofc there was also the critical anti DSP blogs that also... existed for quite some time (And good lord they were also incredibly awful for attacking everyone and anyone in the fandom who dare ship their NOTPS and any problematic pairings in existence)

But now I think the elitist attitude got much more worser and annoying in the growing 2020s since I'm seeing not just STNIVL shippers but others being S*lW*da shippers as well... Which in the past despite me severely hating the ship (And still do) and staying far far away from their fans, they did had some mature sane fans I'll have to admit and they never start any shipping wars/stayed in their own lanes. But nowadays from what I've seen, lately they're starting to get annoying when other non shippers say they don't ship them (I even remember sometime last year while browsing for samewada content on twt, I've seen them going "those who hate on s*lw*da are automatically boring people. Samewada is too vanilla and boring, they will never survive while s*lw*da shippers are powerful" and while I'm aware it's a joke(???) idk it just still reeks of elitist vibes. Seeing that annoyed me so I blocked them on sight. They used to not be like this in the past but I guess times got even more worser

And yeah, I agree that anyone can ship whatever ships they want, be it healthy or unhealthy/problematic ships. (It's fiction afterall) I just wish some shippers didn't act like they're better than everyone and put other ships down to make their ship look like "it's number one, it's the norm and everyone should ship this" which is a huge pet peeve of mine when it comes to fandoms. I love your art style and your portrayals of the characters in general, but the way you draw diavolo in particular is so fucking cute. Love the dynamic Dani has with everyone! Question: going off from the anon with the pact mark theory, what kind of person would they be willing to make a pact with, if at all? What would be the conditions?

Warning: Mentions of addiction, alcohol, bad influences and toxic traits. IDK what to tag this other than to tell you Demon Daniel is just a really bad person. Also, to this day I still don't know WHAT demons get out of pacts with humans. So I've come up with my own reasoning to answer this. I'm still unsure of it though, might change it in the future.

I can't think of many scenarios where they would willingly make a pact with a human. (But I also still just don't get what demons get out of forming pacts? Is it like dibs on the soul when they die or...)

So then, a pact. So the human can order them around? In exchange for...? Nothing? Nah. Have you seen how many pubs there are just in Ireland? Even to a long-lived demon, it is an arduous task to visit them all. They're busy.

I guess if they fell for the human? But most if not all humans they meet, it's while the demon is on task to lead them down the path of self destruction. (Yanno, "for funsies". And free drinks.)

Up ahead: A long winded ramble about demon Daniel that I ended up writing but I kind of missed the point of the question somewhere. So it’s just, a comparison between Human Dani and the Avatar of Vice and stuff.

To answer this I should first go into the key differences between human Dani and The Avatar of Vice. (first I'll say that Demon Dani is not an AU I've taken seriously enough to flesh out much, just had a fun string of "what if" thoughts about, hahah).

Dani isn't proud of their vice and self destructive habits. They have no interest in sharing them with other people, it's the last thing they'd want. You'll never hear them encourage someone to try alcohol, for example. Whether that person drinks it or not. They hate peer pressure from both ends and generally try to defuse such situations. Won't do anything of the sort in the presence of Luke, or most people. Socially, only under the condition of "ok, yeah, I know these people, and everyone here is old and responsible enough to get shitfaced every once in a while"

Daniel is upfront about their asexuality. Not very open, it's not something they'd declare to a room of people, because it's noone's business. But they'll never deny it. It is something they will state 1 on 1 with someone if it's deemed relevant, like if the subject comes up for example. They are frank about it but have no want to display it.

Vice itself though? Different story. Vice is their element. Their normalcy, more than a sometimes questionable source of comfort. And they delight in tempting people with it. Picking up hints, all to find an opening. The sort of shitbag that patiently looks for and finds the weakness in a person's resolve, and carefully, methodically, dismantles it. All the while telling their victim exactly what they want to hear.

They will not only do it all, it will also happen as the other person is inviting the drinks. And that is simply hilarious to them.

They are also asexual, but ,♡☆*toxic*☆♡ about it too. They will hide it, even when they don't need to, and lead people on intentionally (whenever some poor fool with god forsaken taste feels attracted to them), and reject their advances last minute. They consider the person's disappointment another form of self destruction, since it was that person's decisions to put those expectations on Daniel. It's not the demon's fault that it's so fun to topple those expectations like a house of cards!

And how long will this go on for? Well, as long as the demon is entertained. It could be a couple hours sitting at a bar, a couple months egging you on to do street races until you crash, a couple years betting daily at the casino, etc...

So who would ever want to wield that power? Who could find a target for it? Someone with enemies probably. But what's in it for the demon? Only a soul will do.

So it would have to be someone cruel enough to want this sort of card in their hand for some reason. Who is willing to part with their soul. This particular demon cares not whether the soul is pure or corrupted (and well, most people who would want a pact with them probably are the latter). It's the act of a person choosing to part from it, and losing it, one of the ultimate forms of self destruction, that they seek. But the realms are so full of people sabotaging themselves already, so they really don't feel any urge to form pacts. Specially if the human seems like someone who would order them around and be annoying. Hard pass on that.

Saw this in the Jikook tag and thought I'd add what I have seen. What I've seen isn't that people think they're fighting or broken up even though I'm sure there's a lot of that going on but for some they now believe Jikook were never a couple and are just close friends and they feel foolish for buying into blogs that have their own theories that Jimin and Jungkook are an actual romantic couple. Not entirely sure why this NY trip and middle half of 2021 in general have people changing their minds but I guess only they know. It happens every so often but this time I've seen people make permanent changes to their accounts whether it's on here or another sm platform. I just know some are comparing those blogs to the one who shall not be named in the other toxic shipper base. It's not that they see Jikooker blogs as toxic and horrible as that other person but that these Jikook blogs offer their own brand of manipulation only this time using facts instead of lies. No idea if that made any sense lmao How do I put it? Like taking events that have happened and making them out to be a bigger deal than they actually are which in turn gets other people to go "Really? I didn't see it that way but these people are older and wiser and maybe see things clearer than I do" then gifs or clips are usually provided and it all becomes pretty convincing. The thing is no one knows if they're a couple. Could they be? Yeah sure. Could they just be close friends with their own set of personal boundaries? Absolutely. When someone tries to offer up that suggestion to many Jikook blogs, they don't want to discuss that most of the time. Personally I've seen anons suggest a close friendship and are met with comments that that anon must not be experienced enough or anyone who can't see that Jimin and Jungkook are in a relationship must be blind or are choosing to ignore what's right in front of them. That's messed up. That's acting as if the opinion that they're dating is no longer just an opinion. I can see how that can be a mild form of toxicity in itself. Nobody has the right to belittle somebody because they share a different opinion. Even after this NY trip, I've seen many Jikook blogs erupt in anger, calling anons stupid and ridiculous for having doubts or changing their minds and coming to their own conclusions that Jikook aren't a couple but close friends. It's odd to see "Why does no longer car sharing convince you they're not dating?" When actually we've never known if they are to begin with so someone changing their minds over something that's never been confirmed in the first place isn't a problem or "stupid". Maybe the reasons for changing their minds might seem a bit hasty but they're still allowed to change their minds. So yeah I see people are feeling foolish for believing these blogs who hold the opinion they're dating and I think in time the negative feelings will fade away and I have already seen some move on from those types of Jikook blogs and make changes. Perhaps they'll be able to enjoy BTS content without worrying about Jikook's status? As for me, I've never believed they were a romantic couple to begin with but their relationship whatever it is in reality has me aww'ing so that's why I follow Jikook tag. You're good, Anon. And I agree with most everything you've said! However, I'm not so convinced they aren't a romantic couple, but then again, I'm not convinced they are. As I told a friend, I'm pretty agnostic about this (and as an actual Agnostic in the religious sense, that's on brand, lol). I'm pretty bad about seeing things in black and white. I used to, but then law school happened, and I've mellowed out a lot (which is ironic, because I think most of my fellows only got stronger in their opinions, lol! IDK I think my ENTJ is slowly dying into an ENTP; the world has beaten me down into seeing the gray). But I don't really worry too much about it. I did at one point, simply because I think it's human nature to want absolutes, to want labels and definitions especially when something is "other" or "unusual", but I got over it. Do I think they do some suspicious things that make me raise an eyebrow and question them? Yes. Does this definitively make them a couple? No. Will my world fall apart if they are just friends with weird boundaries? No. I understand those blogs that are CONVINCED seem a bit dismissive of doubts, and I envy their conviction. I think they feel they are seeing a truth and supporting/defending a truth that is screaming to break free. That Jikook ARE IN FACT a couple, desperate to be seen as such, but muted by their careers and the socio-political climate of where they live. And I am sympathetic to that. It's why I cannot simply dismiss Jikook as NOT being a couple or forcing heteronormative expectations on them. If they are, I do indeed see signs, and I support them if it's true. BUT, that often leads to looking at a lot of what they do with confirmation bias. That is, you believe your hypothesis "they are a couple hiding in plain sight", so everything they do or say supports this hypothesis, and I find that equally faulty. I see some Jikookers who get just as silly about Jimin and JK being near each other or looking at each other as Taekookers. Sure, they'll spin a more eloquent web using those odd and unusual things that make me side-eye ("SE") to support this, but it often boils down to the same thing. Not everything Jimin and Jungkook do equates to some magical, romantic relationship! I get that they are often trying to cite patterns of behavior (eg JK gravitates towards Jimin) which could be seen as innocuous and BFF stuff and then couple it with "SE" stuff (eg JK sucks on Jimin's ear) to give more meaning to the former as being more romantic and legit than a Taekooker possibly citing similar, but it's not. Not fully. I know the BEST romantic relationships have partners who are BFFs, but that doesn't mean that BFF behavior equates to a romantic relationship. Or even the "SE" behavior equates to a romantic relationship (as you said, it could be BFF's with weird boundaries - I've made out with a few of my friends and I was in no way attracted to them physically or romantically). It's not the transitive property of relationships here. So, that's where I see more wiggle room, that's where I think a lot of people question or have doubts, but that's where these blogs are so convinced. I don't necessarily think they're trying to be rude (but they can be and that sucks), but I think they're just stuck in their confirmation bias loop. They are convinced and they use the strength of that conviction to put emphasis on a lot of things. I don't think they're trying to manipulate anyone, because they genuinely believe it, and that's where they can be dismissive when questioned. And again, I don't think they're inherently wrong, but I also don't think they're inherently right, either. I will say, that if ANY pairing in BTS were to be legit, Jikook have the strongest argument, but it doesn't mean they are (but it also doesn't mean they aren't). And that's ok, to me at least. I'm fine living in the gray and seeing Jikook as each other's person, regardless of what that fully entails. They have a beautiful relationship, they make each other better people, and as my double biases (Jin is my bias wrecker - my chaos trio!), that makes me happy.

Ok, I see where this is coming from. There is a scene in GoF where Harry thinks that Hermione isn't the same as Ron, and that having Hermione as his best friend would mean much more studying and much less having fun. But that doesn't mean he thought Hermione was boring, he just found studying and hanging out in the library boring, and since Hermione spent most of her time studying in the library, Harry didn't have as much fun. Now, don't get me wrong, I LOVE Romione but I hate it when Romione shippers use that scene as an argument against Harmione, because Ron found it just as (if not more) boring to study at the library as Harry did! So it's completely unfair.

2. "Harry found Hermione unattractive."

Firstly, people's looks and attractiveness don't determine whether you like the person or not, you don't have to think the person is stunning to fall in love with them. Secondly, Harry didn't find her unattractive, he literally says he doesn't think she's ugly. And when Hermione was at the ball, Harry found her so pretty that his jaw dropped. He didn't expect her to look that pretty, and that's a bit sad, but once he did realize it was her, his opinion on her looks kinda changed and he started to see her as an actually beautiful girl ever since.

3. "Harry is too short-tempered for Hermione."

I've seen some Romione shippers say this, and I've been shocked every time I have. In OoTP, when Harry was having a hard time, was getting upset about everything and was yelling constantly, Hermione was the one person to handle it well and calm him down. She was the one to deal with him, she was the one who understood him best, knew exactly how he was feeling. If you don't remember, you can reread OoTP, and pay more attention to those moments, it will be clear afterwards. *Quick note though, Luna was the second person who understood Harry well, and Harry didn't have trouble talking to her, which is why I admire their pure friendship. 🥺

4. "Harry and Hermione barely even talked when Ron wasn't around."

No, that's not true. The thing is, Harry spent more time with Ron, obviously, because he shared a room with him, took the same classes with him and etcetera, and he was more similar to Ron as well, so it would have been easier to talk to him about things like Quidditch and studying. But when he was with Hermione, most of the time Ron was there too, and they discussed the most important things together, they wouldn't talk about their plans without Ron, they always included each other(🥺🥺🥺). And just like that, he barely had any time without Hermione. But when he did, (ex. GoF) he DOES talked to her about anything, and Hermione had no problem understanding him. If you've noticed (reread OoTP if you haven't), whenever Harry had a problem, he always went up to Hermione to get advice. And so many Romione shippers also use the scene from The Deathly Hallows against Harmione, when they're so shocked about Ron leaving them that they can't do anything alone and don't talk. They say it's because Harry and Hermione can't get along, and they need Ron to do something together, but that's not true at all. Actually, Harry was always the bridge to Hermione and Ron, but, forgetting about that, when Ron left them, they were so sad and miserable, that they lost all confidence, sadness took over them, and Harry didn't know what to say to Hermione, as he was very bad at comforting people, but you can tell he was paying lots of attention to her. That's why they didn't talk or interact much. And if you remember, right before Ron left, there's a paragraph talking about how Harry and Hermione were the only ones talking and Ron was sitting in the background, complaining about food. Please get the facts right before you say something. <3

5. "Their relationship would be so boring."

Ok, I don't fully understand what you mean by this. If you mean it would be boring for the audience, then you're not a real fan of Hermione. If you'd rather read about her crying over Ron for your own entertainment than have her happy but "boring", you can't call yourself a real fan of her, sorry, I don't make the rules.

But, if you mean that Harry and Hermione would be bored in the relationship, then let me say something against that. If you think they wouldn't be able to have a conversation with each other, then you need to reread my point number 4. If you're saying they wouldn't be able to interact and have fun together, then you're straight up lying. They've spent their entire lives together, they grew up together, went through all of the adventures together (including Ron too of course, but Hermione was also there when Ron wasn't, but I can't blame Ron), they've literally lived together so idk how you'd expect them to be bored. If there's something Ron and Hermione could do to have fun and not be "bored" that Harry and Hermione couldn't, name it, because I'm really curious. Yes, Ron was very funny, he has made Harry and Hermione laugh a few times throughout the series (and I love him for that), but jokes aren't all it takes to keep a strong relationship.

That is all I'm going to cover for today, there's so many more reasonable arguments against them that I'll fight against in the future, but, for now, that's it. I mostly see Romione or Dr*rry shippers say these, but others say them as well. As for Drarry, it's pure toxicity, basically the LGBT version of Dr*mione. As for Romione, it's an amazing ship. I love it so much, I'll defend Ron over Draco and I won't accept Ron bashing for anything, not even for Harmione. He deserves better than Draco stans coming at him for nothing. Romione is pure, Ron would do anything for Hermione, and vice versa. And the same things happen with Harry & Hermione. That's why these ships are so similar and I love them both very very very much. <3

This is what I’m gonna do... I’ll be doing more structured reviews later and most likely liveblogging suggested stuff and tagging with “Nesha Watches (Insert Title) for all liveblog posts. For this first review, I won’t be as structured, because I didn’t really plan on reviewing, so this is basically all of my comments to friends @chenoahchantel and @daintyurbanprincess that were made whilst I was watching this show suggested to me by @rbaifzau 

It didn’t take me long to be annoyed with the white boy in this show. It doesn’t take much anyways, but one episode in and I’m over him already. This dude saw her at a party, she got pushed into the pool accidentally, he gave her a dry shirt, and two minutes later tried to kiss her… TF..  

Girl, this bout to be IGNANT...

Chile... She was like, "What are you doing?" And he looked surprised. Like whet. And in episode 2 after having seen her thrice and spoken to her once, he telling his best friend, "I'm pretty sure I like her a lot." I HATE stuff like this. Why did I tell old girl I'd watch this and discuss it with her? 😭

But she like him, so like??? 😭

And her daddy, who we haven't seen yet is presumably a rolling stone. Only one negro in this town and the nigga gotta be probably running around on his wife? 🙄 I'm like, OH, so the one Black man in the show gotta be a rolling stone? And even though his wife is also highly irresponsible as a parent, she's sort of made out to be the victim of his dreams. They never portray Black mothers doing things on their own as victims. That woman was messing up left and right and it's all on her husband not being there, when that's only part of the problem.

Also, if she IS the only present parent and made the decision to do that, she should be doing it instead of leaning on Summer all of the time.

I like Summer's friends and feel bad for them because she really didn't treat them kindly. She used Edo whenever she was upset by Ale and then she just completely ditched Sofie on her birthday and didn't even text her or anything. Just had her waiting on her and didn't even apologize. Like, I love that she gets a chance to be human, but being an asshole to the people who you're supposed to be friends with is such an upsetting trope to me.

And the connection between her and Ale is so weird. He comes across as super predatory in the beginning and I don't understand why she liked him in the first place, but also whenever he does something by mistake, she is so angry at him, even though she's been just as inconsiderate when it comes to her friends.

The gag is that she got mad at Ale because she saw him talking to his ex and she had to cover for him at work, but you've now ACTUALLY put your best friend in a bad space. And he ran into her mom and little sister and looked so uncomfortable but kept it short and sweet. These are people he loves. Idk. I feel bad for him and also like she kind of a hypocrite.

That was what REALLY bothered me. I don't expect her to be perfect, by all means. Black girls should be allowed their imperfections and their mistakes, but the fact that she knows what it's like to have the people you love be so absent and that she would treat her friends this way because of one guy who she's only known for a couple of months was disappointing for her character. She could have been written imperfectly without this glaring problem that I don't believe a real person in her position would actually have. 

I think in real life, the girl who raises her sister and basically has to lift her mother up all the time would overextend herself to her friends, but instead, she just leaves them in her dust as soon as she gets some dick. 😭

He is now hanging out with her little sister. 😭😭😭She goes to school with them but she looks tiny. I'm cringing at everything.

BRUH. Like... I can't tell if they're trying to or not, but I wouldn't be surprised because he's cool with the sister too, but they've been friends a while, so I didn't think much of it until Summer hurt him.I thought she liked him earlier, so idk if he is noticing her or I just EXPECT it.

At one point, they say he's been riding bikes for 20 years, and whenever his father is mad that he had his accident on purpose (which I'll come back to) he says that he's never made a mistake like that, not even was he was 4, so Ale is AT LEAST 24 and she JUST turned 18. Which is WILD to me, even though at 18 I dated someone who was 23 (he was possessive and abusive, so I have a real suspicion of age gaps). 

But, aside from that - she gets mad at him any time she sees him with his ex when It is perfectly fine to speak with your ex and whenever she did see them together, it was always innocent and she didn't give him a chance to explain.

But then, when he does something questionable, like whenever he tried to kiss her the first day they met, or whenever he came to her job to ask her out and she told him to leave but he said he was going to wait outside (toxic AF and presumptuous) she is fine with those things.

Now, back to Ale's accident. I really felt so bad for him whenever we discover he did this on purpose, because his father is mad, when they should be concerned. His mother says, "You could have died" and he agrees...

How did they not notice that meant that this young man was so disappointed with his life as a biker that he was literally suicidal? They just grazed past it and whenever he vanished on them, there wasn't a huge call to find him,even though he'd just admitted to purposefully filling a possibly fatal mistake.

I was really upset by these things coming to light, and also whenever Blue gets hit by a car, because all of the reviews that I've seen on this site have been that it's a cute love story with likable characters, but nobody mentions the problematic content, the dark portions of the story that can be triggering - like suicide and alcohol incidents and literally seeing a young Black girl be hit and run by a car??? 

I wasn't prepared for that shit in a "cute love story." I think that this story is less cute and more dark than people have made it out to be, and that's one of my problems with it. It isn't marketed as a dramatic coming of age story. It's marketed as a romantic comedy, when it is more serious than that and has a lot of issues that should be considered.

The lesbian best friend is in love with her too??????????????????? I. Hate. This.

My favorite person in this whole thing is the lesbian in the background, Irene. And also Dario.

I was entertained a lot of the times. Just heavily confused because I couldn't figure out what the tone was supposed to be. 😁

In conclusion - it's maybe a dark comedy, not a cute comedy, IS a coming of age about a young Black girl who is kind of an asshole, but Black girls should be free to be assholes too. White dudes do it all the time and are valued characters. The dude is weird AF for chasing around this 17 year old girl and he's in his 20s. Idk if that's normal in Italy. It's nasty to me. Their beginning is young people foolishness and there's not much that we see their relationship built upon, but that happens, yanno. You young, tired and silly and some pushy dude makes his move whenever he see you. Slap some discount sex in a dinghy on it and you have this show. I don't recommend it, but a lot of folk loved it, so I guess it did what it meant to do.

They are a pot stirrer, they tag vk, other ships, they shit on Taehyung, they get non-shippers and tkers pissed. Receipts will follow because I'm not going to be called a liar again, other people who are concerned like myself and I are not going to be made to feel like we're exaggerating the truth, and no one is going to tell me I'm promoting sheep mentality and setting a mob on anyone without some facts to back it up.

This behavior? What OT6s, akgaes, and people who put their bias or ship above everything and everyone else do? This is only going to affect us and the boys negatively because it absolutely ruins the fandom. It already is ruining the fandom.

Unpopular opinion time: I apologize if I offend anyone, but I and other people are getting tired of the jikook fandom overlooking problems within our own section. We spend so much time defending ourselves from antis it's really easy to forget there are troublemakers EVERYWHERE. And people have to take responsibility for what they are supporting.

It is not good enough for some of you to say, "If it was coming from a Jimin anti," or

"If it was coming from a tker I would have criticized them more/called them out/reported them/been all over it."

That is the height of hypocrisy, it is ugly, and it makes our side of the fandom look very bad. It makes us no better than them. This is something I really feel strongly about because after being on Twitter (and I know a lot of you stay away from it) now I see more of what goes on and let me tell you guys something.

The tumblr bubble phenomenon is real and the Jimin/jikook bubble on tumblr is real too. I feel like I've been somewhat brainwashed by tumblr in a way after taking mini breaks. I see much more negativity and hate from within the fandom and outside the fandom that is spread to ALL the boys much more evenly than what it may seem like in the bubble. I don't disagree on most points, I do think JM gets the most hate from within the fandom, but outside the fandom? From antis? It's not so simple.

And guys. This Park Bo*um thing? I have my thoughts about it but it has taken a life of its own both here and on Twitter. The way I've seen this used as a means to bash Taehyung, and you know what's really funny guys?

I've never heard of it until now. It wasn't until PB was in the bangtan bomb that this has become a "thing" that I've seen. So many people I know didn't even know he was in a cult or anything about what they do.

I find the whole timing of this, it being used against Taehyung to bash him, call him names and things we shouldn't call him because we know nothing about their personal lives in reality, especially him, all at the same time everyone is raving about jeonlous and the jikook moment.

I'm highly suspect guys and just a touch disgusted because where was all this when people found out over a hear ago PB was in a cult and the media reported it and he's been tweeting religious things for idk who knows how long.

I don't support anyone using something to bash on another member just because they think it makes their ship look better and I think that's been a motivating factor behind a lot of it, beyond the actual sincere concern many of us have who just found out about it. I'm sorry if that's an unpopular opinion. I'm not comfortable with the PB situation either, it makes my skin crawl. But watching that video? I got the feeling TH and PB maybe aren't as close as they used to be, that seemed obvious to me and a lot of other people saw the tension too. The whole thing was weird, all of it.

The amount of pjms who dislike Taehyung because of his solo stans is staggering. The amount of OT7s who dislike the jikook fandom because of the constant feud between shippers is staggering. No one likes Jimin solo stans. Other shippers like yoonkook, minjoon, sope, vmin? They despise taekook and jikook because of how we all act. They really do. They like the ships or the pairings but they can't stand what the fans have become.

Back to the point of the post. Here are the receipts, because no one is going to accuse me again of promoting a mob mentality w/out facts or suggesting that I or anyone else who is upset about this is lying, only because you're willing to overlook toxic things for a jikook/Jimin blog, outright lie about ever seeing anything, then contradict yourself in black and white in a follow up post.

I doubt this account will delete their posts like some big accounts have because they're just an attention seeker and love the drama and want to keep the posts up because it makes them feel relevant, so anyone can go to their @ and see what I'm talking about.

But, if anyone wants to be lazy, bury their head, or just lie and say they haven't seen anything and "it didn't happen in front of me oh iddkkkk" well here you go. No excuses. These guys don't deserve that.

Oh, and if anyone is wondering why I didn't tag their @. I blocked them and I am not engaging in anything some of you may consider a "conversation." If you want to be self-righteous and think I should be open to that, you're welcome to feel that way. I'm welcome to say where you can step off, too. Most people talk about a devil but they don't talk to him. Same thing. I'm not about to engage myself with hate, negativity, and toxicity that I know comes from a sick place. If someone makes a mistake and regrets it and they apologize and they're sincere that's a different situation, I have no problem forgiving someone for a mistake. Rpf goes with the territory there and while I can absolutely guarantee there were people who weren’t into it, the stunning thing is that those people simply stated it as is, ‘Not in it for the ships but love the content.” 

I think turning your hobbies/interests/dislikes/likes into online activism is a pathology developed on this website where people frequently run activism blogs. There is nothing wrong with this practice but there is a Huge difference between cultivating a conversation about racism, transphobia, human trafficking, feminism, serial killer worship and xenophobia in a world rife with battles for basic humanity and finding a show you enjoy, discovering that the community who loves it too, and then dedicating your time towards ensuring that anyone who has a blog within the community does it according to your own standards all the while using sociological rhetoric to make it sound like you’re setting a precedent for good in the world.

The truth that a lot of these people don’t seem to understand is that the people they’re fighting on behalf of don’t give more than a shit about this strawman cause because it’s true, they’re real living people out there making the content they love, living private lives, regulating their public image (even encouraging mental headcanons about their alternate personalities presented in postmortems). They’re not spending their time scouring for blogs to find out if anyone is creating fictional universes where they’re not heterosexual. Antis claim that people will get out of hand, attack the guys, their public relationships, and make the entire show about the ship, but it’s not even Sh/yan shippers that are saturating the regular content because we regulate ourselves; when someone forgets themselves and posts in the main tag, other shippers kindly message them and inform them which tag is best to use. 

We’ve all noticed it. The only shipping content I see in the main tag is errant people with no concern for Ryan and Shane, they’re simply expressing disgust for something that wouldn’t impact them otherwise. On my end, I’m happy when someone posts their messy ass take in the tags because then I’ve got a name to block instead of having to go through the process of scanning and rerouting IPs for antis’ anonymous asks I delete once I’ve scrolled to them. And here’s the even more bizarre thing, these asks are violent, angry, rife with personal attacks and a deep desire to make me and others like me-- real living human beings they actually have access to--feel like shit. Self-righteous hatred and attacking strangers who aren’t hurting anyone for being into something you’re not into is silly and childish. Antis aren’t saving shit and they’re not making the community better; you don’t have to like it but curate your shit and leave people alone.

I’ve managed several healthy months of this experience without interacting with anyone toxic, deleting attention-hungry anons, and having a good time. I don’t even mind hanging with people who aren’t shippers-- hell, I got like four different non shipping people in my instant messages consistently who I Love talking to about ghosts, religion, movies, demons or mythology; one of y’all even came at me about Tom Cruise in Interview with the Vampire (you know who you is) because ultimately, we’re all here about the same two guys, the same show. and god forbid talented writers and artists coming from queer perspectives wanting to write and create within the fictional universes they can relate to. All the while we got actual antis going off about Shane being their bicon, being a demon, being Bigfoot, mothman or whatever the fuck, reveling in the details of his relationship with his girlfriend, putting themselves in her perspective and then turning around and shitting on anyone who say Shane and Ryan’s relationship is gorgeous and romantic depicted under the fictional lens of their friendship becoming something more. I think that says more about their views on Ryan and absolutely their views on heteronormativity than it does about protecting people who aren’t even in the shipping tag nor keeping mine or any blog on bookmark.

Okay so like... ik I'm probably swinging a bat at a hornet's nest even making this post and I'm kinda scared to say anything tbh because I don't want people to like... put words in my mouth or think I'm condoning things that I don't. I also wanna make it clear that I'm also not vaguing any one person because I've seen more than one person say this stuff, and if I felt like it was just one person, it wouldn't really bother me. But I've kinda seen a disturbing pattern in the CHNT fandom regarding how we talk about ships (which... I honestly don't really like the concept of "shipping" tbh? It's become so nebulous and meaningless bc while people say that it's just about writing a story about 2 characters, it almost never is that and no two people who argue about shipping agree on what it is). No, I'm not talking about incest and pedophilia, that shit is disgusting. I just mean with like, unhealthy pairings and stuff like that, and people getting really mad about anyone talking about them or even joking about them, especially with pairings regarding Adam and Elijah.

I get that like, some people are made uncomfortable by that kinda stuff. I get it! I'm an abuse victim myself of both parental abuse and partner abuse, who's suffered serious psychological manipulation that left me scarred for life. I understand why some people would rather not see those things in their media and fandoms because they want to escape that kind of thing. However... if you don't want to be exposed to unhealthy relationships, aren't you listening to the wrong podcast? CHNT does have healthy pairings, don't get me wrong, but it also details some really toxic relationship dynamics (even Sydney and Jedidiah, in the context of season 1, are canonically stated to be unhealthy. Yes I get that in comparison to Elijah, Jedidiah is way better, but he still hasn't been the best partner to Sydney. He still has a lot of work to do even now.), especially surrounding marginalized people, and does a pretty good job of portraying those things in a way that doesn't romanticize them. I don't understand why fans aren't allowed to do that as well, so long as they're careful and not romanticizing or condoning abuse.

I'm not tagging this (though w tumblr's shit system it's gonna end up in the search anyway) bc this is probably not the best thought out ramble or anything, and really isn't meant to be a callout or me being angry at anyone, or really any kind of public statement at all. This is more just a vent about being confused I guess. I don't like romanticized abuse either, but I don't understand why just writing about abuse or toxic relationships or portraying them in art equates to condoning or romanticizing them. Or even in like, some kind of AU where the characters have a healthier relationship because one or more of them got therapy-- idk why stuff like that is bad. I really don't get why this kind of thing is not acceptable or why wanting to explore it is wrong, especially in the context of a show that portrays toxic relationships in canon.

Sk8 theory: no one can beat Ad*m individually, they have to work together.

Multiple times "the power of friendship" has been mocked (Miya, Shadow, Ad*m), but we've also seen the juxtaposition of Reki & Langa's innocent friendship/love/however you categorize their relationship against the toxic competition of S.

Joe & Cherry are just figuring out "we're not alone" and i have to hope that the younger generation is also learning this and THAT is going to be the theme of the last 2 episodes. Reki, Langa, & Miya stopping the cycle from repeating.

This leaves plenty of room for Renga to be explicitly cannon or not, for Tadashi to be the one who has Ad*m jailed, & everyone else to get their happy ending and heal from the terror and abuse they've experienced.

Something I don't really get about all the renga fanfics I've read so far is the way they describe how Langa and Reki smell. It's always "Langa smells like pine" and "Reki smells like tropical fruit and strawberry shampoo" or something. Which is fine! But no one ever says Reki smells like sawdust after working in his garage, or that Langa smells like maple syrup because his mom made pancakes for breakfast or like whatever else he's just finished eating. Tell me Reki smells like paint and paper and pencils, or like too much body spray because he overslept and missed his turn in the shower, or that he came home from the mall smelling like perfume because his sister(s) used all of the testers on him, or that Langa smells like his mom's perfume because she always hugs him goodbye in the mornings if she's home.

Yes, I'm sure they smell like generic body wash and shampoo sometimes, and half the time like sweat, but there are so many other scents that get caught in their clothes anx hair. Tell me what they do by how they smell. Tell me where they've been and why they're acting how they are. Show me how Reki's mental health is by how what he smells like matches up with what he's telling people (does he smell like he's been hiding in the Dope Sketch stock room, or like grass because he laid in the park until the dew soaked through his hoodie, or like the asphalt he's crashed into a hundred times trying to perfect that trick?). Show me Langa learning who some of his classmates are because Reki loaned his hoodie to someone and Langa noticed the next day that it smelled different. If Langa must smell like pine, tell me his mom raids the Bath & Body Christmas scents each year so their place can smell like a forrest year-round.

TL;DR: there are a lot more things to smell like than body wash, and why things smell the way they do can add a lot to the story.

Hey Sk8 fam, are we just gonna sleep on the fact that in the very first post-credits scene Reki asks Langa about Canada and then tells Langa he can ask questions, then complains that he "always asks about feelings and stuff, and it's weird." Like?!? If that isn't proof that Langa's into Reki from the very beginning then idk what is.
