Description: This is set in X-Men Apocalypse when Scott, Jean and Kurt freed Logan while rescuing the others, the memory jean gives Logan is of you so he escapes and goes to find you.

Warnings: mentions of blood, angst, fluff, non sexual nudity. Please let me know if I've forgotten anything.

Authors note: hi everyone this is my second Logan fanfic. I recently rewatched some XMen movies and it gave me some ideas! I hope you enjoy, I appreciate any and all feedback

"Logan, what did they do to you?" You whisper looking at him. In front of you was one of the strongest people you know who now looked like the shell of the man he once was. The last time you saw Logan was just before he went to kill Viktor and Stryker. He was at the bar you worked at, serving him whiskey while he smoked his cigar. He was a regular of yours and knew him well enough to know what happened to Kayla.

But it had been 6 years since that night. 6 years of not seeing him and hoping he was okay and that one day he'd make it back to you. Now here he was at 3am standing at your door in nothing but shredded pants; shivering, his long unkempt hair moving with the wind and his eyes full of panic slowly morphing into relief at the sight of you. You quickly hurry him inside to the warmth of the fire place and drape a blanket around him as you maneuver him to the couch then make some tea.

Logan was stoic, unmoving apart from shivering, staring off into the distance. You set a mug of hot tea in front of him, the sound of the cup hitting the table pulled him from his thoughts. "they... I" he starts attempting to form a sentence staring at the mug pulling the blanket tighter around him "they kept me" he finally whispers as a single tear rolls down his cheek. "Oh Lo.." you murmer moving closer to him, wrapping your arms around his broad body. He leans into you, taking in the scent of vanilla coming off the tea.

You embrace him for awhile as he finally allows his body to rest. "Come on Lo, let's get you into the shower and get some fresh clothes on ya". He nods in agreement following you to the bathroom, you pass him a fresh towel and set to find off some clothes when he grabs your wrist. "please stay." He murmers softly. He undresses and gets in under the warm water. You stay outside the shower but grab a cloth and soap and begin washing away the dirt and blood watching the water make its way to the drain. Logan sighs contentedly bracing himself against the wall as his muscles flex under your touch.

You bend down and begin washing his legs and feet, slowly the water begins running clear before handing him the cloth to wash the rest of himself "you don't have to talk about anything until your ready Logan, I'll be here too listen" he looks at you kindly before rinsing off one last time and get out wrapping a towel around his body. You turn the water off and make your way to your wardrobe where you pull a shirt and basketball shorts out. "I usually wear men's clothes to bed as they are more comfortable" you leave your room giving him privacy to dress while you set up the couch for him to sleep.

Logan emerges from your bedroom in the clothes and makes his way to the couch and bids you good night. You go to your own bed as your heart breaks for the man you once knew.

writing my first drawerfic and oh my GOD this is so freeing...every time i start to get hung up on a phrase not sounding perfect i'm just like, oh right, this is literally only for me so who fucking cares. and i just plow forward. it's fantastic <333

dw it's not deadpool fic, i would not keep that from you all and anyway i don't have the strength of character to keep from posting anything i write in an active fandom that might actually get me some attention. but i've been re/watching the xmen movies, and there was this story i got 75% of the way through in 2011 and absolutely loved it, but i never finished, and after rewatching xmfc i went and reread it and realized, 1.) it's even better than i remember, and 2.) i REALLY want to read the rest of that sex scene. so im writing it and it turns out this is a very easy horse to hop back on and i'm having SO much fun.

(i'm not going to post it bc i'm not interested in writing the other unwritten parts or editing & polishing up the rest of it, and also because. well. some things were generally considered okay in 2011 that might get me run out of town on a rail these days. but if anyone enjoys 1.) xmfc, 2.) sex pollen gangbangs, 3.) me blatantly indulging my id vortex, and 4.) stories about grief, and you're cool with teacher/student and technically-dubcon and just a brief touch of incest (and specifically with all of those things treated as more or less happy and fine), you are more than welcome to pm me for a copy)

watched atla live action. hate the tell don't show writing style. got mad every time i saw ian ousley on screen. suki and jet ate that up tho i'm literally SO pan. zuko's flashbacks made me cry. him leading the division that he saved in finding the avatar is a nice touch. love how secret tunnel and two lovers/omashu is gay now

am starting a jade fire gold by june cl tan reread because holy fuck i'm in zutara feels rn

read if you could see the sun by ann liang. made me cry shake throw up. obsessed with her writing and need her book to hurry up and appear in aus

read the first shatter me book since i enjoyed the first 6 chapters on google. BIG mistake. how did simultaneously nothing happen in that book while everything happen at the same time?? why do people hate adam and love warner??? why is every man on the planet obsessed with juliette??? however the last two chapters gave xmen vibes so unfortunately i will be reading the rest of the series at some point in time

i became OBSESSED with the maleficent movies for an entire fortnight. so much so i thrifted a grunge fairycore skirt with NOTHING to style it with. can't wait for maleficent 3!!!!

follow up to maleficent, i ended up rewatching all of descendants. all i'm gonna say is mal did nothing wrong. ben is insanely mid. i think that evie's backstory is a lot darker than let on by the disney channel rating but i'll make a separate post about my headcanons for her. saw the teaser for the 4th movie. rip to cameron

i watched the marvels FINALLY. i ADORED kamala as always even with all the shitty writing changes to her backstory, iman slays as always. i screamed cried and threw up when i saw the og beast from xmen and professor x mention!!! seeing carol from the kree's perspective was also actually REALLY interesting. the family angst between monica and carol also made me emotional. seeing kamala become disillusioned with her hero was also very civil war 2 coded and i'd LOVE to see that fleshed out more. i'm interested to see whether kamala is trying to form the young avengers (which she was never a member of and predates her by 10 years), champions or secret warriors (both of which kate was never a member of if i remember correctly)

because of xmen crumbs i unfortunately rewatched about half of the gifted s1 for those feels

i now know 4 programming languages and am living out my own little cress darnel life

watched a few episodes of love between fairy and demon, thought i didn't like cdramas, gave an episode of who rules the world and actually?? i might be into it. i'll see in a few episodes time (IF i have time)

Channing's portrayal is everything and more I've ever wanted for a live-action version of him!! I know Channing himself has been a hugeee fan of Gambit and has wanted to play him since back to even 2005, and his care really does show!! The only "issues" I have with this version is just tiny cosmetic details, but otherwise it's like someone pulled exactly what I wanted from my brain n put him onto the screen!!

I'm sure when you get to dpvw you'll have a great time!! I've been rewatching the xmen films myself hehe, I forgot how janky the first few of them are - we love early 2000s cgi <3 and I'm sure Scott is so happy to see you again! He's always gushing to us about you even when we're trying to plan big missions, you've really got that man like putty in your hands <:)c <3

Stella/Brandon (Winx Club): They've been my OTP since I first saw them on TV in 2004. I've been unable to "not" think about them since then, and then I turned to Tumblr Winx and to Ao3 Winx ... and that got me into writing multi-chaptered Brella centric fics, so ... yeah, I love them.

Rogue/Gambit (XMen): The untouchable woman and the sluttiest (affectionate) man to ever walk the Earth? How could one not love them!!! Though their interactions are almost always tainted by miscommunication and consequent angst (which I love, yet seeing them just being happy would be better), they are meant for each other. Also, they've been living in my mind rent-free for a long time. And should live in yours too!

Angel Dust/Husk (Hazbin Hotel): This is a new one, but it's meant to stay. I've only recently hopped on the train of Hazbin Hotel and I've fallen in love with those two poor non-owner of their souls. They make me suffer, laugh, and cry. I LOVE THEM AND WILL PROTECT THEM AT ALL COSTS.

hello. i am curious about Ezra,,, im splitting these into different asks to maybe make it less overwhelming...

What is their favorite kind of social event?

Are they upfront about their feelings?

Who are they most honest with?

Is there a habit they have that they learned from someone else?

What would it take for them to get into a fight?

What is a topic they would be excited to talk about? 

wow!! lots of questions! i'll do my best to answer them all tonight with as much energy as i can, but we'll see. grins

what is their favorite kind of social event?

movie nights honestly. ezra doesn't really look forward to normal social events, and he hardly gets to experience them anyways being a hunter and all. but movie nights, especially once everyone settles down in the bunker, is always his favorite way to spend the night with all the people he loves, even if it means fighting over what movie to watch. save him a seat between cas and dean

are they upfront about their feelings?

more than dean, and sometimes even sam, but that's not saying much. all three of them are some sort of emotionally incompetent. for a while, mainly the first few seasons, ezras whole shtick was being secretive (literally no one knew he was a ghost for most of season three), but later on, once he's spent years upon years with the winchesters and their acquaintances, he definitely gets better at expressing his thoughts outloud

who are they most honest with?

i'd be lying if i said dean and sam. the three of them lie to each other all the damn time for "the greater good" or to "protect each other," and then get mad when they find out everyone else has been doing the same thing. hypocrites. ezras probably the most honest with cas, and then most definitely jack in the last few seasons

is there a habit they have that they learned from someone else?

i think i've mentioned this in one of my song analysis posts before, but ezra chants stuff under his breath a lot to remember things, and he sort of picked that up from other hunters when he first started out in the hunting scene

what would it take for them to get into a fight?

easiest way is to try and snatch his beanie off his head or to attack him first. second easiest way to trigger a fight response is to attack his friends/allies

have they ever had a meaningful encounter with an animal?

you know, i don't think so. but i am doing my rewatch right now, which means i'm rewriting and adding a lot of ezra lore as i go, so maybe that could change

is there an activity they used to enjoy that they dislike now?

dreaming. having dreams when be was young was always great. but now, as he grows older and more and more shit happens, ezra finds that most of his dreams are nightmares. don't get me wrong, he still loves to sleep, but prefers if it's dreamless

is there a topic they would be excited to talk about?

the obvious answer here is the xmen. that's his special interest, baby. other than that, maybe the music he likes? there isn't much else he's been steadily passionate about throughout the years. it's sad, but after he died for the first time and got caught up in everything with the winchesters and heaven and blah blah blah, he sort of lost time to do anything he loved

general mcu talks here. warning - super negative.

i think the thing that makes me the saddest about deadpool & wolverine is that the mcu execs are going to miss why it's so wildly successful. they aren't going to take away what they need to take away, which is they need to recenter and focus on making good fucking movies and not just churning out miss after miss after miss. they need to build to stories that are going to actually mean something to the audience and not just deliver a shocking twist that will mean nothing.

but like... its a bunch of money dudes in charge of a creative industry. they don't understand why audiences find movies good. they think it's big name characters (it's not) or actors (its also not) and not that a team was left alone with enough time to cook up something good and then was able to collaborate and build together on a good fucking project.

i don't want this to be the sendoff to the xmcu. i want to go back to that universe more than i want any other installments. i don't want xmen in the mcu bc its like - beenc clear to me for a while that they don't view comics as an art form or care about what they're adapting. and that's why i fell off.

i don't care if adaptations change details. my favorite iterations of sailor moon are the goddamn campy live action adaptation. but that's because it took the source material and elevated it.

all the mcu has been doing for a while is ... what comics are doing. which is not letting a group work together on a group fucking project and churning out a bunch of stories that end up feeling disconnected and meandering.

it isn't just that it's deadpool. it's that there's like clear immense love and respect for both the comics AND the movies. the movie works because it's a passion project that isn't caught up in just being another installment to a never ending content factory.

and more than that, it's a story i'm going to rewatch again and again because it never relies on a twist. it's more interested in telling a story that is significantly more timeless than half the shit that the mcu has been churning out since it focused on becoming a massive interconnected mess.

if we don't get anymore hughverine or deadpool that's - sad. but ultimately fine. this is a good sendoff. this is maybe where i step off the mcu entirely, because i have not found most every installment since end game fell short, unless it was a standalone movie with a closed off team that had more creative control.

i've been seeing interviews about billy in agatha all along and just sucking a breath through my teeth going THE CHARACTER NAME DOESN'T SELL SHIT. people like the character for a reason. i don't know how we're in a world with so many failed comic book adaptations where they still don't get that or care. and i wanted so badly for a good adaptation of billy, but i've been so unimpressed by the trailers and the general tone.

I agree with every single word and feel the same. Something about the X-men movies have a special place in my heart and I think it's because I genuinely love the power from stories of unique individuals with pain coming together to fight for their happiness and basic sustenance (instead of fighting for some grandiouse objective or the 'fate of the world' on one's shoulder kind of hero with a veteran/soldier feel). I personally find mesmerizing the seriousness and proposal of realistic problems of X-men movies where different people are systematically discriminated and persecuted. Even if Evan-quicksilver is integrated in MCU he won't be the same (he won't be Erik's son or a mutant anymore if adhering to the retcon, and also lose his aura & relationships he's built in the xmen movies) and it's disappointing. I've never been fond of MCU kind of heros so I think I'll be rewatching X-men movies as well despite it's own flaws, and I shall stick to dadneto for a long time because I want Peter to be happy.

I’m suddenly enraged because if Erik only said one line like ‘How is he’ in the X-men Dark Phoenix movie it would have given some closure to the dadneto storyline. They didn’t even need Evan so no excuse of him being busy, they just decided to abandon the 6 year old storyline and I’m so pissed for that.

It's such a good movie and I'm so sad it got overshadowed by Despicable Me cause like I love them both but they're completely different movies past the premise of a bad guy as a protagonist so there was room for both of them!!! Like I've been thinking of this movie for y e a r s but I could never remember the title or much else other than Blue Bad Guy And It Was GOOD and I am so glad no one is sleeping on it anymore-SDV Anon (im an anon for someone else and I keep almost signing off wrongly)

honestly same because despicable me is its own sad story with the minions overshadowing the story of a man becoming a dad (i should rewatch that one too its honestly so cute?) but otherwise they have Completely different plots and lessons within them
