Anyway, as shocking as it is, I didn't log in to rant about the latest updates (even though ugh, I see I've received the Live tab too, yuck!), that stupid thing just popped on my face as soon as I logged in so I had to find how to block it again.

You've probably noticed I'm not posting here anymore, instead I've put all the new posts to GoS and Simblr.cc and that's also where I intent to keep posting from now on. I also moved most posts from this blog over to Simblr already and what isn't there is in my Wordpress. I'll make a new proper pinned post for this once I'm done writing this.

I'm simply done battling against the windmill that is tumblr and the community that stubbornly sticks here, it's pointless waste of my time and energy. I don't expect anyone to follow me to simblr or even care about anything I'm writing here right now but I felt that it was the right thing to write this out here instead of just disappearing without another word.

This blog will probably eventually disappear once I fully stop logging back in ever and the address will get taken over by a spambot or something. (I think that after certain time of inactivity tumblr changes the address to blogname-blog? and that's when the bots take over the old name and you'll probably be seeing viagra, game or traveling ads or something else fun on my page lol.) but that's just how the system here works so I can't do anything about it.

I'm also closing the asks again and turning off the notifications so I won't be tempted to log in. If there is need you can contact me at GoS or MTS or Discord (I'm digisims there, I've set it to not allow anyone directly but if you need to message me there I'll notice the pending messages eventually). I think most people have account at one of those.

Honestly, makes me sad that a small (well... I wouldn't say small small but like not exactly popular?) fandom space is already dealing with shipping drama because no one can handle someone being squicked out by something, especially considering I'm a fan of said ship too. Like, someone disliking and critiquing a ship you enjoy is not a personal attack, what happened to 'don't let someone live in your head rent free'? Or fucking blocking/muting/ignoring and move on? It sucks the fun out when over zealous fans are complaining about someone who's supposedly complaining their ship. It's one thing if someone is like spam trolling the tag, it's another if they're like 'yeah this one isn't for me, please dni if you like this, thanks!' And as much as I enjoy this ship, it's kinda draining to see people try to cause discourse instead of just using the sites tagging system and blocking system to make things easier on both sides, because idc if we share the same interests, if I find out someone I've been following or someone that is my follower has been sending DEATH THREATS over A SHIP you're getting your ass reported. That's never cool no matter situation and especially stupid over fucking cartoon characters.

You're right and you should say it. I wish I could like the ship more but I too am just drained by all the constant drama. I also use Twitter and on Twitter we had a massive drama over there several weeks back because several artists were pr0shippers and I'm already on the side of "I'm too tired and employed to be dealing with this" without this thrown into the mix. I'm tired. I'm done. This ship could've been cute but half the time, the ship is yelling at me so I'd rather not engage.

When I heard that this drama was (supposed) caused by one singular 14 year old posting in the tags, I let out the biggest sigh because like. I'm sorry. 14 year olds are going to say dumb crap in the tags sometimes. The other word for "minor" is "kid". This is a child we're fighting about. We are sharing a space with children because that's how websites be and we need to learn not to fight with actual kids.

Instead of once more stirring the pot and making people who don't like the ship but are quiet about it uncomfortable by once more stirring the "let's debate the age gap and why it shouldn't matter" pot, what should've been done is a "hey don't engage with this user, they're saying stupid stuff in the tags" and move on, because at the end of the day, yes age gaps even between two adults will squick some people out and we should respect that some person heard the "I watched you when I was a tadpole!" line and went "nope". Some people's yuck is another person's yum, as they said ten years ago. Maybe.

In short, this could've been handled way better than flooding the damn tag with arguing. Let's just block/mute and move on.

Are you familiar with the concepts of ship and let ship? Don’t yuck my yum? Don’t kinkshame? It’s okay to vehemently disagree with other fandom pairings/scenarios/etc., but posting screen shots that openly shame other users for their preferences is very unkind.

I’m genuinely sorry that you were triggered. It would have been easier to use the block button than to create a post saying “Wyler people are gross” and specifically calling the screen-shotted user garbage.

At the very least, please keep any shaming off the general fandom tags. I would have preferred to not see any of this and I don’t even ship Wyler.

Context, hun. Did you completely miss the part of the post where I said I had no hate to the OP/the potential for that story? It'll be a good story if real justice is served. The little screencap was served not against its OP, but to the sentiments that it incurred in the comments. Violent stalking/murdering someone else's boyfriend is acceptable to that person, and that's just rank.

I've posted before that I cannot stand Wyler. Fuck That Monster is my 'vehement disagreement' with that, and I am open to that story... I'm not open towards shitty comments about murdering Joel just because Wednesday was dating him. I would love to read that stalker story for justified comeuppance, but I can't say that's what it'll be about given the comments. The real diff there is that my hope as a reader is for real justice to happen while there are people like the 🗑️ poster who hope, as a reader, for INjustice to happen (since there's a real injustice towards two characters being happy only to have one other be gross, inappropriate, and threatening to their happiness). I would have said that poster was 🗑️ regardless of their chosen ship for having posted comments like that, but so far I haven't seen anyone in the popular ships who post 🗑️ like that...because they don't tend to be 🗑️.

Thick skins only grow in the face of adversity. This fandom is full of the thinnest skins imaginable because somewhere along the line, people got the idea that no one's ideas or comments are open to any criticism; that 'staying in a lane' is the way to drive, even though we're seriously all on the highway to Hell here together (especially in this fandom, let's not sugarcoat that). Why do you think that I don't give a flying 💩 about what anyone says about Wenovan and can defend it (maybe not to everyone's liking since they cannot conceive of AB Wednesday having such strong agency at her age/regurgitate whatever the moral line is atm)? Because I've been through that war before. It's nothing new to me.

Senseless death is already happening in realtime in this world. Don't be 🗑️ and wish death upon...how did the Millennials call it before Gen Z became teens...a precious cinnamon roll like Joel just because Hunter Doohan [in a role that was, by general real world consensus, a milquetoast character] makes your panties wet. Yeah, sure, write whatever the Hell you want, it's all fiction. But it still isn't immune from crit, just as the show itself isn't at all immune to crit.

My story isn't immune to crit either, but not one greyface anon has actually read it to criticize WHY things don't work within or don't make sense to them (those are actually in the comments at AO3, and I've responded to them... like the fan who didn't like AB Wednesday in love, even though that's...what she's been LOL). It's just all general "ew gross" or "it's illegal!" or some inane broad brush about the premise with nothing to react on its substance. "But I don't have to read it to know that it's wrong!!!" ... 😐 ...If I am willing to read a Wyler with the above premise to see where it (hopefully) ends up, I think others could be as open minded.

But anyway

If you seriously yum a murderous stalker over love--even while that's 'cute' in this fandom given the solidly frozen misanthrope that is our favorite heroine--then I can't help you. There's something broken there. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Wenclair and Wavier are at least based on 💕 love💕, so I guess that we've got that to be thankful for.

As for tags, for real? As if the tags on this shit app actually work? 💀 You said you don't even ship Wyler, but I'll give 'em a new tag anyway: Wyner/Wyners. Because that's what it all sounds like rn. Wyners whining about why they can't have nice things because ✨Hunter is so dreamy✨, and no one should ever be called 🗑️ just because they hope for a universally loved character to die a bloody death.

The Resident Patient-1

Hi, everyone! I'm back with my ramblings. I had unfortunately missed The Lion's Mane part 3, The Three Students (whole adventure), and The Red Circle (whole adventure) when I was away (because of exams and other stuff in life).

I've been sick too lately, so I just don't have it in me to write detailed reviews/opinions about the episodes I sort of missed when they'd been airing.

I've binged listened to them all by now and briefly summarised my experiences in this post.

I've decided to begin with my live-blogging with The Resident Patient directly.

Here I begin.

Ooh, this is going to be a 3- parter. Amazing. Another excellent case they picked up from ACD canon.

He's dropped the mic 16 times before?! No wonder the last adventure felt like a chore to listen to. The disturbances were so irritating I just had to switch to read the transcripts directly from their official website.

Always great to see them start the episodes with crime scenes. Quite thrilling to listen (with all the background sound effects and everything).

And what John says about the blocked roads is actually relatable.

I love listening to Sherlock and John brainstorming about the case as well.

Sherlock calls it "satisfying"...

The officer things it's a 'hit and run' case. Let's see.

I really like it when John keeps praising him. Like he did when Sherlock deduced that stranger stood outside 221 Baker Street at a glance.

John is getting awkward again, left alone with the new client. It's nice to listen to some snippet of his personal and academic background though.

Good to see (hear) Sherlock encouraging his client to work through the deduction process on his own.

That's an interesting back story. So, Avery was Percy's rich benefactor for his private practice and all the expensive stuff he owns.

Hm. Avery wished to live in Percy's medical practice as a resident patient.

Oh, I thought they just made a reference to a previous adventure of theirs (a robbery with nothing stolen in the end). Maybe it's just me who thought that.

Avery sounds like a very interesting character.

Wonder if that's just the effect of Avery's damaged seizures and catalepsy, or because he suspects a criminal activity. Could be both, but I'm going with the latter rn.

Poor Percy. Now he's financially trapped in this situation too.

"You won't be required." - I really like Sherlock's directness sometimes.

So, they now have to stay at Percy's clinic because of Sherlock's time-consuming (but quite thorough) investigation.

Percy sounds like a nice person. Bit weird that Avery is staying in a room on the top floor though.

Mariana's voice note: "I'm starting to sound like you. Yuck." 💀

Why does he spend that much of time casually talking to himself out loud, anyway? 😂 He's not even narrating to us or anything. Just rambling. (Like I am right now lol).

You'd think he'd keep quiet for a bit when left alone, especially when he doesn't have much to narrate about his surroundings, but no.

No one and nothing can shut up this guy. He's just really chatty.

You know, my ears had been aching to listen to this classic intro and outro music (along with the excellent episodes that had been airing every Tuesday) when my exams were going on.

So glad to be able to listen to this lovely Holmes adaptation with some brilliant theme and background music again!

This was amazing.

I finally got down to listening to Sherlock&co.

1.) I really like this new take on he Holmes adaptation. It's different and interesting. Sounds fresh.

2.) Their voices are distinct, but personality wise, Sherlock is quite similar to BBC Sherlock's Sherlock. But not John.

3.) John is so hilariously awkward and I get so much second hand embarrassment listening to him. 🤭 But I quite like this new way of characterising him. He is authoritative when he truly needs to be. But the rest of the time, the intro and outro of his podcast are record so pathetically lmfao. Love this John Watson.

4.) Mariana from Hudson's instead of just Mrs Hudson? I thought her character was going to be based on Mary Morstan from ACD canon (because of her name), but not really. She's a completely different character altogether. And Sherlock keeps calling her Mrs Hudson and she keeps correcting him saying it's Mariana from Hudson's. XD I can't say much on her character because I'm just on The Illustrious Client right now, but she sounds likeable.

5.) I love how they chose this story (The Illustrious Client) as their first one in the series of podcasts. I really liked that one in ACD canon too. The plot was quite intriguing and I like this idea a lot.

6.) John always calls him Sherlock but Sherlock calls him Watson sometimes. Many a time, actually. What's that about?

I'll probably make more posts as I keep listening to more. That's all for now.

The Only Stranger in the Room (Oikawa x Reader in Soulmate AU)

Summary: The day you are introduced as the (Aoba Johsai's) volleyball team's new manager is also the day you're supposed to meet your soulmate. Coincidentally, this is also the day Oikawa arrives late.

a/n: Honestly, I'm so obsessed with Soulmate AU prompts I'm close to creating Pinterest just for this reason. But oh, well.

And another yuck for the title (I'm so crappy with titles sometimes I just wanna post without it).

"It could be overwhelming at first but I hope you'd eventually adjust." The second coach, Coach Sadayuki said with a grin, his arms crossed while looking at the Seijoh team in he court.

You smiled, "I will try my best, Sir," you said as you look at the page in your notebook that contains the team members' stats.

You officially became the first female manager of the Seijoh team last Friday and was officially introduced to the team this morning before their practice match against another volleyball team.

You have been memorizing their names, researching the terminologies the sport uses, first aid for common injuries, and all.

Truth to be told, you're scared. You're not an athlete yourself and you've always been the type who made excuses just so you could ditch PE so...what made you decide to become a manager?

A small part of your brain screams destiny or fate but you chuckled as you dismissed such thought.

You snapped from your train of thoughts when you heard the referee whistle. Before you knew it, members of the Seijoh team who were playing are walking towards you and the coach's direction.

You immediately stood up, getting rid of your notebook as you went for the chiller, fetching the boys some refreshment to lighten their exhaustion.

"G-Good game, Matsukawa-senpai," you tried to strike a conversation with one of the 3rd years as you handed him a drink.

He looks down on you, thick brows raising upon realizing it was you, "Oh, thank you, Y/N," he smirked a little while untwisting the cap, "Getting accustomed with being our manager?" He asked.

You awkwardly chuckled, scratching your brow in the process, "You could say that..."

"Don't be so nervous, Y/N," Iwaizumi, another 3rd year butts in into the conversation, "Even if these boys are stupid, I'll make sure to help in managing them."

You smiled. Honestly, the moment you woke up - no, even when you were still preparing last night, you're already scattered. No amount of tea was able to relieve the stress that was building up inside you for this particular moment.

You glanced at your wrist. On it, mm/dd/yy is written in a permanent ink that no solutions could get rid of. In this world where people are born with particular dates tattooed in their body, this mark is considered a treasure, a very important day.

Science is not yet able to explain such mystery but these dates are the key to finding that particular someone you're supposed to spend the rest of your life with. People like to call it as your soulmate.

Today is mm/dd/yy. The day you're supposed to find your special someone but to your dismay, you've not seen them yet. You've already familiarized the faces of those who are around you and are certain you have not seen them yet.

Is there a trigger when you've seen them? People with experience said there is, but it varied. One claimed the moment they saw their other half, they felt a sting. The other claimed of feeling the sensation of choking, others fainted, and so on and so forth.

Would I faint? I sure hope not. Or maybe I'd choke as well? Or maybe-

"Yo, Shittykawa!"

"Geez, Iwa-chan, get rid of the nickname, please?"

Surprised, you look behind you, only to see an unfamiliar lad, wearing the same jacket the Seijoh team has, hanging his shoe bag on his lean shoulders lazily as he walked in a confident manner towards you.

"Oikawa, you're late," the coach said, unimpressed by this Oikawa's late arrival.

He chuckled sheepishly, "I'm sorry, Coach. The fangirls blocked the way."

"What a dick," a member muttered which made them laugh. You would've laughed along but you're too drawn with the new person's presence, as if he has unlocked a gear inside you, awakening something that has been asleep inside you all along.

-or maybe I'd feel a spark? You finished the thought you weren't able to finish earlier.

"Oh? And who is this?"

You blinked when his eyes are now all on you. Remember the anxiousness you've been feeling last night? It seems like it doubled with his stare.

"Oh, that's Y/N, our new manager," Iwaizumi said at your side but you couldn't look at him, too glued on Oikawa.

"You probably forgot, didn't you?" Iwaizumi teased but Oikawa didn't react. He was still staring at you but this time, walking closer towards your way.

"Nah, I wouldn't miss this day, I'm sure," he said that as he stopped walking, now a few meters away from you, unzipping his jacket's zipper.

You gasped when Oizawa slightly pulled his inner shirt's collar down which made the whole team groan with him being flashy again.

But that's not the case for you, though. What made you surprise is the mark that is placed on his collarbone. Your heart hammering as you read what is written on him all over and over again.

"I've been waiting for this day," Oikawa muttered as he glanced at your flashed wrist, sharing the same mark he has on his collar.
