ong hi update??

i've been focusing on art primarily for the past few months while balancing with school. and right now i've got about 20 original backgrounds?? wahoo ig. it's been both painful and satisfying putting everything together. there's a handful of sprites i still need to redraw but we're getting there.

that aside, once the basic assets are done i'm jumping on cleaning up the writing. if you've kept up with my other socials or even just itch.io, you've probably noticed i've been putting up some games recently! i've finally decided to jump into making smaller projects so i won't just be stuck on this one. it's helped a lot with me figuring out how i want to make my art, code, and my writing. i used to get a little flack for expressing interest in other games while working on sanguine, but now i don't really care. this is something i'm doing in my free time with no profit attached and it's also draining creatively to be sitting on one ting for too long (for me at least).

i'm happy i've been able to work on other stuff because i feel it's made sanguine look much better visually and i'm getting a grasp on how to actually finish things.

I’ll be honest college isn’t super bad! Ok well, my only experience is community college, but the point still stands. Community college right after high school really isn’t that hard, and I actually prefer college over high school! You get more freedom with choosing your schedule too! However I hated doing college exclusively online, it drained my motivation, but this semester was my first time doing face to face and I enjoyed it!

And damn I can’t imagine having to learn the guitar like that…

Also my fav omori ship? That’s a tough one! I think my favorites are probably heromari and sunburn, as well as solar system (Sunny x Kel x Aubrey x Basil). I also really like cactiflower, photobomb (< I actually used to dislike that one but the people I follow have opened my eyes), and suntan! I think sunflower was my favorite when I first got into omori but now it’s just kinda. meh to me. I still like it but it isn’t my favorite

It gets rid of negative energies that got attached to us. I feel like my vibrations are higher again. 😌 I was feeling so drained & felt sad with everything going on lately. Now I feel slightly better & more cheerful again.

Also excited that Gonzaga Men's Basketball team won again a few days ago! Hope we make it to the Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight, Final Four, top 2 again! Nevada Wolfpack Men's Basketball is doing pretty well this year again. I'm so happy! Hope we make it to the Sweet Sixteen! March Madness NCAA!🏀

Monday, January 8th, 2024!

11:32am HCI class this morning, really boring still I regret to inform everyone 😂 no tests this semester, just projects. Easy A but a real brain drain. Not letting the brain drain get to me though! Hopped out of that class (9-11am) and now I'm at Panera getting free coffee (it's chilly out!). I'm going to shoe carnival to use a $15 voucher and also other little errands today. I just realized I'm really hungry (I had 2 prebiotic sodas last night and absolutely BLEW UP this morning so I actually don't think there's anything in my stomach tbh haha). I think I should get a snack bc my stomach will pass start hurting soon. Just checking in! New semesters can be overwhelming so I'm gonna keep coming back here.

11:49am have selected bogo bacon mcdoubles for lunch with my coffee :) eating food is good for you! I am very thankful ❤️

2:34pm lol I went down a rabbit hole and I'm about to be off my phone for the rest of the day. But it's worth it bc I looked on Vividseats and found a $20 after tax ticket to see Company at the Straz tmrw. I have heard of this musical before but didn't know what it was or any of the songs. Omg I didn't the last 1.5 hrs listening to the original Broadway cast recording in my car and investigating the plot and I am very excited!! This is EXACTLY what I'm talking about I had no idea that's what I was going to do today and definitely had no idea I was going to see a Broadway show tomorrow night when I freaking woke up this morning, how do I explain to people that this literally is my hobby. Novelty and new experiences is my hobby. Learning about things is my hobby. Listening to new music is my hobby. Reading about how they are being hot and *controversial* about the gender swap in this revival of a 50+ year old play?? I find this fascinating and I am excited AF now about something I couldn't tell you one lick about this morning. This is my favorite thing to do. This is such a perfect example of my idea of a good time.

Do other people never do things like this?? It's spontaneous, but not expensive or dangerous or retarded, it's just spontaneous and interesting to me personally.

4:05pm I actually went to shoe carnival and used the coupon in their email and got a pair of yellow box sandals for $7 even! Just got home, ate a granola bar and am about to take a nap.

11:45pm I want to text him. I'm ALSO FIVE DRINKS IN LMAO. OFC I wish I had a man to fuck rn. I GOT MYSELF DINNER AND DRINKS!!!! NOW it feels like I've been wined and dined and primed to FUCK. But it's literally just me.... I wined and dined myself bc it's the first day of school, things are stressful and they're bound to be more stressful going forward. okay so like can i just clear up the fact that wanna one's vid was leaked.

they didn't know. they didn't know this was gonna happen because no one in the right mind would upload something this personal to them, but it turns out they were proven otherwise.

and like. jihoon and ong just talked about how they're only getting 20% of their pay when they should be getting 50% (them+ymc+their respective companies).

guanlin just talked about a SASAENG in front of their house and people actually had the guts to accuse a 16-year-old kid of joking about them giving bjs?? disgusting. knetz (the toxic side; i won't generalize, unlike them) are honestly just. wow.

and the fact that they were laughing shouldn't make people overlook the fact that this is actually SERIOUS.

they were talking about their mistreatment; they laughed because the staff were there- they could've easily reported them.

WFT is happening with Fantagio? I don't understand... I'm sorry, I'm not the smartest in a pot, could you put it simply?

to put it very simply, a chinese company (jc group) which bought fantagio shares and owns a majority of them (which basically means that they almost singlehandedly own most of the fantagio corporation) have started to operate against fantagio by dismissing the co-ceo and founder na byeongjun from his position, which was reported to have been news to fantagio (basically no one discussed it). now the only ceo is the jc group ceo wei jei. (why is this important? well, it’s claimed that he was fired via a board directors meeting…. well… NA BYEONGJUN IS A PART OF THE BOARD. if this was done just how it was claimed to be done - without no prior consultation with fantagio, it gets highly confusing)

it’s claimed that na byeongjun was fired due to a budget deficit (though the obvious solution from an econ standpoint would have been to release more shares to pool more capital or obligations to fund the deficit instead of… you know… firing the head man…. and that’s why it’s concerning, in my opinion. it’s not a usual decision and if implies that jc group had bigger intentions. this is only my opinion, though.)

along with that, it’s reported that the corporation credit cards were taken away from the staffs, which means that whatever you have seen recently that might have required money, chances are it was funded out of pocket of the staffs and idols (for example, the food that astro gave out to arohas during dogeball COULD HAVE been funded out of their own pockets, considering the current situation)

it’s also reported that they pooled fantagio money to an unrelated hong kong company. which goes against that fantagio budget deficit (their expenses are higher than what they can afford basically) thing because why would you drain money from a corporation that has a budget deficit? or did it cause the deficit? either way, jc group knew what they were doing, since numbers can be foreseen easily. had they held fantagio’s best intentions in mind, they wouldn’t have done that, again, in my opinion.

in response to this, fantagio has had a crisis meeting and have settled with 9 demands for jc group. if the latter doesn’t fulfill the demands, fantagio corporation staff and employees are going on strike, which means that every schedule will be cancelled and fantagio artists’ songs won’t be played on radios. it’s chaos basically.

this is concerning because fantagio is not just fantagio music. it’s a HUGE corporation with a film production, idol/actor training, management training, cafe franchise companies under it’s wing. there are a lot of people working under it which are now in danger because the stability in fantagio corporation is non-existent. idols, actors are somewhat protected by their contracts, we don’t have to worry about ong as long as he’s under ymc contract, too, though, i’m not sure if it’s possible to sell the idols under contact. i believe it is, because of what happened to madtown (they were sold to a fraud company and have been going trough court to have their contract terminated. thankfully, they won, but the thing is is that they had nothing once they were sold). what we do have to worry about is the staffs, countless trainees and everyone operating under fantagio. chances are those caring people that have made fantagio into what it is (basically a company that offers therapy, free-time with family, school for managers, free diets, sexual predator lists) are now in danger. keeping in mind the actions of jc group and the lack of fantagio involvement in the decisions involving fantagio corporation, it’s very likely they won’t accept the 9 demands and the road can lead to more cuts and even the end of the company.

please, don’t ignore this issue. we can not do much, but we do matter, as consumers of what fantagio entertainment puts out. we can help fantagio by trending the  #판타지오_대표는_나병준_대표님  hashtag, so jc group can not ignore us.
