What's with Tobias and always getting categorized as expendable in every verse. I don't even MEAN to do him dirty like that it just happens naturally
#tbd.#◜✧ . ❪ muse. tobias. ❫#I'm rewatching Pacific Rim 1 and when Stacker said 'we can't afford to lose you' about a specific duo/Jaeger this realization hit me#Tobias' PR verse truly is something bc wdym everything from his main verse still happens (his parents/Wammy's House)#but on top of that he joins the Jaeger program & even THERE he gets indirect reminders that he's expendable#First his parents dgaf whether he lives or dies. Then Wammy's dgaf whether he lives or dies as long as he does his jobs.#Now the Jaeger program dgaf whether he lives or dies as long as he accomplishes his mission and fends off the kaiju.#Girl no wonder this man couldn't care less if he lives or dies & constantly acts as if it's alright if he drops dead whenever!!!#I'm trying to think if anyone would care abt Tobias' death & in a sense sure but they'd get over it fast enough esp if it was on a mission#^ In ALL verses btw. Not just main or PR. Even in the PsyPass verse Wammy's dgaf if he dies thanks to Sibyl or lives to see another day#Tobias is so weird bc how is his self-esteem still high when he's aware he's expendable in every aspect. Brother WHAT is your secret#He's so chill all things considered. Most anything happens and he's like 'well alright' AHDUASYDGHSAJSH???
