Them switching Ariel to a 3d model partway through was really weird to me. I understand the monsters being 3d, as long as the models are good I couldn't care less.

I say this as someone who doesn't mind anime using CGI, it happens. Whatever.

For the UFO arc, if it ever gets animated, I know all the robots and stuff will be cgi. There's just no getting around that without it costing too much budget and the anime ending up way shittier. Please. Whatever studio takes up Kumo Desu. If they even renew it. Please. Don't fuck it up. For me. For me.

#Kumo desu is a really weird novel to recommend. Because it's probably one of the only stories where I wouldn't recommend watching #the anime or reading the manga of it.#The anime is way better than the manga. But I know some people don't like cgi and wouldn't watch just for that. Plus the pacing and animati #-n just gets kinda ass at some points. Also it changes a bit of the story beats.#I'm pretty sure it left out a big chunk of the middle sanctum (Fire wyrm 'army' + fire dragon - Mother interaction).#If you don't know Kumo Desu it's told via multiple povs. Two main characters and a couple small side character chapters sprinkled throughou #The manga only tells one of those pov (spider girl) which leaves out so much information and lore.#Which makes it a pretty bad option if you want to read the story. Since you're missing out on around or over half of the story.#If you want to read Kumo Desu just read the Light Novel. That's the best way to experience it.#There's also the Webnovel but I haven't read all of it. You can read it but once again. It was serialized into the Light Novel so.#It ended at 16 volumes. It's a good read. Trust.#sorry for the rant.#otikblog
