It's not poisonous/toxic so any of the toxic abilities aren't going to be on there.

I'm thinking more a Bleed + Deep Wounds kind of thing. Maybe Bleed and Paralysis. One of those two.

They're an ambush predator so I want to give them first strike. Since they in their ecology they'd just be disguising themselves among a bunch of plants and waiting for something to come by. They don't really chase their prey.

Maybe some nightwings eggs didn’t catch the memo and instead of reacting to a night sky they just react to whatever is ‘moonlight’ to them. So the wee little baby internal clock mistakes sunlight as moonlight and hatches during the day. Same goes for the comet babies, they just mistook the light reflecting off of the comets as moonlight and that just triggers their hatching.

so i stole @otiksimr's idea of nightwings reflecting the sky they were born under. i wanted nightwings born in full daylight, so i played around with it.

nightwings hatch under moonlight. they need either the light from celestial objects/lack of sunlight, but i also wanted to let nightwings hatch at midday, so i made up this thing where you can hatch at midday... if and only if all three moons are full and the sky is completely clear.

so what if there was someone, with darkstalker. his opposite. the dragon born under the light of the three moons and the blazing midday sun, instead of the three moons and the light of the stars and galaxies.

their scales would be completely white, like an icewing. maybe they would have other special powers.

Oh I think you're talking about School of Dragons.

They had a pretty diverse range of dragons from HTTYD that you could have in the game. They shut down a year ago tho so... sad.
