Did you go through k-12 schooling in the united states?
Do you have a learning disorder? (ADHD, Dyslexia, etc)
Wanna help me with my homework?
basically, I'm doing a research assignment on how people with learning disorders are educated in the United States. I made a quick survey for my research. If you answered yes to all three of those questions, it would be super helpful if you took this survey. Thank you in advance!

Debunking Lily's "Behavioural Psychology Degree" with facts and logic (and a two minute google search)
Tumblr media
First of all, big ups to @skrinkskronk (EDIT: ammended the screenshot credit :) thank you to skrinkskronk for both the picture and the clarification!) as, without their keen screenshot button, this post could not and would not exist. You can check for yourself - the original ask no longer lives on Lily's blog (a fact that I'm sure many Lily defenders will have quite the opinion about - please see the questions section below! <3) Second of all: who the fuck am I?
Someone who attended university in Canada, that's who!
For real though: I have a bachelor's degree from the University of British Columbia, double majoring in English Literature and History. Does this mean I know anything at all about getting a behavioural psych degree?
No!
But I do know how attending university in Canada works. It is not at all as Lily describes. I'm going to largely avoid talking about the degree itself in this post - CrimsonEnder has already done the research on that and I highly recommend checking out his post for more information on why Lily couldn't even get the degree she claims to have studied for. Instead, I'm going to go forward as if we are in an alternate dimension where Lily made the far more believable claim that she was working towards a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Psychology.
Let's do a close reading, shall we?
And barely graduating is still graduating.
Starting off strong: this is a true statement! She's right, to get your high school diploma in the province of Nova Scotia, one must:
Meet the minimum number of credits requited for graduation, which is 18 (source: creditsforgraduationdiplomaen.pdf (ednet.ns.ca) )
That's it! (in my province we also had to pass a literacy assessment and do some 30 odd hours of community service. no, I'm not still salty about it 10 years later.)
However, passing is not succeeding. Lily has stated that she barely passed high school, did the bare minimum to get it over and done with. This is fine in and of itself. I attach no moral or intellectual weight to not caring about high school as it is by no means set up to let every child succeed. However, doing the "bare minimum" to pass does not open many doors for further schooling down the road. So, in order to pass a class, one must achieve a minimum of 60% - otherwise known as a grade of C. Assuming that for her 12th grade year Lily took a full load of 4 courses over two semesters, achieving the minimum grade that would allow her to walk the stage and get her diploma, she would leave high school with a 2.0 gpa.
Remember this score. 2.0. We will come back to this.
This is in Canada, there's no SAT's to take.
Look at that! 2 for 2 true statements. Canada has no SAT or nation-wide equivalent. Understanding this, in order to meet the minimum requirements for admission into university, one's GPA plays an extremely large role. For example, in order to even be considered for admission into McGill, one of Canada's top universities, one must have a 3-year minimum grade range of 85% (an A) and a final GPA of 4.0. Grades equal to or above this minimum do not guarantee admission (NO, I'm NOT still salty that I didn't get admitted). With a 2.0 GPA, Lily's application would have been tossed after a glance. "BUT BUT BUT!" I hear you say, "this is from one of Canada's most selective institutions! In a province Lily doesn't even live in! You're holding her to an improbable standard!" And you would be right! But this was just an example to showcase how university admissions function. Let's look at a uni a little closer to home. Let's even look at four:
Dalhousie University Undergrad minimum requirements: 75% or 3.0 (source: General admission requirements | Dalhousie University) )
Mount Saint Vincent University: 70% or 2.70 with no individual grade below 60% (source: Admissions (msvu.ca) )
Saint Mary's University: 70% or 2.70 with no individual grade below 60% (source: Canadian High School Curriculum Requirements | Future Students | Saint Mary's University (smu.ca) )
University of King's College: 75% or 2.0 with no individual grade below 60% (source: Undergraduate Admission Requirements | University of King's College (ukings.ca) )
She doesn't meet the minimum requirements for any local Halifax university or college with a psych program. However, if we are to be charitable, (and believe that Lily scored slightly above the true minimum of 60%) MSVU could have admitted her based on individual merit. From their mature students policy, we can read:
Applicants who present overall grade XII averages between 65 and 69 percent will be reviewed for admission on an individual basis. (source: Admissions (msvu.ca) )
I'm not going to pretend this isn't the case or couldn't be true or try to obfuscate it from her and her defenders.
... But if the rebuttal is so easy, why doesn't she say that?
You either graduated High School or you didn't.
I'm sure Lily did graduate high school. I'm certain she did so after putting in the minimum amount of required work. I do not believe that she has or ever intends to attend university in Canada.
Objections I'm sure this post will spark:
"skrinkskronk's screenshot could be faked!"
And I could have blue skin, but that is not reality. Rather than taking my word for the fact that this ask was real, the answer Lily gave was as shown above, and many people saw it before it went MIA, I instead invite you to consider something: asking Lily yourself. Go on! Ask her! In whatever way you find most comfortable, ask how she went to university for a) a degree that doesn't exist b) with a below-requirement gpa and c) paid for it with money she doesn't have. When she deletes your ask, ignores your superchat, or approaches your honest and genuine thirst for truth with hostility, I then want you to ask yourself why that is.
"Lily could have upgraded her scores at a local college before applying to university!"
Did she say that? Has she ever claimed to have done that? Or are you putting the right words into her mouth so she can easily go "Yup! that's what I did! Obviously!"
If she had done this (or had at least thought of this herself), why didn't she claim to have done this in the original ask? Wouldn't it be easier to just say "I upgraded later" than pretend that a measly 2.0 could get you into an advanced degree program? I have no doubt that Lily is going to recount her story and claim the above statement was true all along. "[She] just upgraded!" But I ask you to think on this, to really consider it: why is the story only changing after confrontation? If the answer is so simple and so obvious... why was it not always true?
"You say at multiple points that Lily could easily provide a rebuttal but she doesn't owe you or any of her critics a response!"
This is true! However, she responds to criticism all the time.
Her taking down Sai's streams is her responding to Sai's criticism. Her snarkily talking around Ant and his content in her videos is her responding to his criticism. Her answering asks from her fans (despite in her "rules" stating that she will not) filling her in on the goings on of her critics is a response to their criticism. A response isn't always the literal "and to that I say: blah blah blah".
If Crimson, I, or anyone else who thought twice about this situation were wrong: could we not be easily disproved? She is the one who (supposedly) attempted the degree. The records would exist. She would have access to them. She would not run away when challenged with a very easily disprovable argument. As much as Lily loves to protest that she ignores the haters and refuses to respond to criticism, that claim is demonstrably false. She responds to criticism all the time - she can't keep Sai, Crimson, or Ant's names out of her mouth while on stream, in her videos, or on her blog. If she had an easy win, she would take it. She has before. She will again.
Closing Arguments
I feel like I have adequately demonstrated that, even if Lily did apply for an undergraduate degree, if not the flashy shiny
Behavioural Psychology
that she claims, she likely wouldn't have even made it past the admissions stage. I don't want to say that it's completely impossible for her to have attempted post-secondary education. As stated above: MSVU could have admitted her based on individual merit.
What I do hope is that this post invites people think more critically about her claims.
What do I think happened with the original ask? I think some anon, the original question asker or otherwise, challenged her before I or CrimsonEnder did. This scared her and, realizing she'd been caught, tried to wash away the evidence before anyone else could trip on the lie. Sadly, that's not what happened.
If she did attend university, how did she pay for it? Is a 2.0 GPA enough to qualify her for a scholarship, grant, or bursary? A 4 year degree in Canada can easily run a person $6,463 per year, not including textbooks or other fees. Where did she suddenly get that much money? These claims are so easily questioned and disproven because Lily Orchard thinks her audience is too whipped and fundamentally too stupid to ever seek the information for themselves.
She does not respect you. She does not respect your intelligence as a human being.
You deserve better.

wait IS jhy confirmed trans? i was interpreting that way but it seemed like translation confusion when i read it. i'd be so happy if that was true ;o;
Short answer: JHY is definitely a woman, early translation confusion was largely due to the fact that Korean doesn't necessitate gendered pronouns as much as English, she is never specifically called transgender but her portrayal represents a lot of trans experiences and I choose to interpret her as transgender.
Long Answer:
Jang Hayoung as a character represents the webnovel catagory of 'transmigration,' wherein a character from 'the real world' wakes up in the body of a 'character' and must navigate their life. Jang Hayoung was a transcendent reborn into the body of Aileen Makerfield's 15 year old 'son' Aslan in the demon realm. To my understanding, Jang Hayoung's gender previous to her transmigration is unclear, it's possible that she was a cis woman in her first life. Hayoung (or Hayeong) is commonly from 夏榮 with the meaning 'glory of summer' and generally has a feminine connotation. Regardless, after her transmigration she has to face the dysphoria and challenges of 'spiritually' being a 23 year old woman in the body of a 15 year old 'boy,' and the interactions she has with other characters are easy to recognize trans experiences in to me.
Throughout 'episode 43' her gender is discussed a lot. YJH who has little concept of transmigration calls Jang Hayoung a weak 'guy' and a 'rude jerk,' to which Jang Hayoung replies 'actually I'm a bitch.' It's also shown around this time that through the scenarios, transformation of the body is possible to the point of changing gender representation, as Yoo Joonghyuk takes on the 'Punisher' persona while enduring a punishment for rescuing Kim Dokja. Afterwards, Jang Hayoung says something to the effect of 'no matter what your body is, if you are a girl you are a girl no matter what' and YJH vehemently agrees with her, leaving Kim Dokja very confused. My interpretation of this scene is that YJH gains experience of what Jang Hayoung feels being seen as 'the wrong gender' because of her body when he presents as the punisher because he still feels he is the same person as before, but I've seen other interpretations of Transfem-coded YJH that also make a lot of sense.
It's also good to note that in Korean gendered pronouns are not used as frequently, so Jang Hayoung confused many translators because her use of exclusively feminine pronouns is not confirmed until the first chapter told from her third person POV, after which most translators switched their pronoun choices for her.
For me ORV's interpretation of JHY's transmigration falls into a lot of the transgendery feelings that I have. One time a girl in a psych class asked my professor why there were so many genderqueer autistic people when one of the major symptoms of autism is struggling with changes and I had to get on my soapbox of like, to be honest I feel like I never really changed but suddenly everyone else around me did. Like it was never important to me whether I was a 'girl' or a 'boy' because basically those were like teams to be on in elementary school and it didn't matter. But then I was growing up and it was kind of like... There was something just so soul crushing to me about the idea of growing up to be a "woman" as opposed to growing up to be a "man," as arbitrary as those labels can be it just does mean something to me. Choosing to be a guy and let myself orient my experiences and social life around that concept just feels right and makes it easier to be myself without being misunderstood by others. So for me the idea that someone with kind of reverse feelings from me who has always been a woman having to endure the experience of being in the role of a 'prepubescent boy' is pretty representative of A Transgender Experience even if that language is not specifically used. It's also a lot more compassionate than representation seen in other works, or even earlier in ORV itself, and I think my favorite thing was Kim Dokja being told he was a dumbass for thinking a woman wasn't a woman just because she was in a 'boy's body,' lol.

my experience, given my 9h, one year post uni graduation
so as many people know who have been here for awhile my 9h... its a bit much...
Tumblr media
for a long time, i have seen people say that pluto and/or chiron in the 9h would mean that you would drop out of college or what have you.
i am living proof that its not always the case.
my experience was the chiron placement giving me anxiety - i hated that i wasn't as great as i had expected i would be. i hated being a psych major (i feel like i have a decent ability to listen and advise others, but it just didn't feel right after 3 years in the major). my department then was shaky because the psychobio/pharm side was questionable at best; maybe one or two people would pass the tests the rest would fail and then it would be curved. the teaching style didn't work and their were no other professors or tutors available to help (WHICH IS INSANE). so i was feeling hopeless and anxious... and depressed... i couldn't see myself passing a test at the end of the term let alone going on to help others if i couldn't understand (which i connected with grades - it didn't matter how many mind maps i made on a topic) the material.
we can skip the dark crap that i went through during that time too because we have already talked about it-
so i healed myself (chiron can be wounded, but he was healer first foremost) by changing my major (pluto is the change).
yay english major - the venus there is really "a doing (learning) what i love" signifier in my opinion.
all this conjuncts my mc, so yes - i got my degree, awards, and lots of people knew what i went through by the end of it because i wrote about it in the school newspaper.
BUT ON TO THE REAL REASON I AM WRITING THIS.
what happened when i stopped being in a learning environment?
it's been a year. to be honest, the 9h chiron feeling is crawling back in. i am sure everyone notices that my posts are more sporadic and just less in general. i am mentally exhausted - i work an 8-5p corporate office job (not in my field). it's hard to not feel uninspired by the end of my day. i feel like i am becoming stunted.
my brain was a sword and without school and constant/consistent learning (especially in areas i am interested in), i feel my sword is without a whetstone.
not to be a complainer (but yes to complain) corporate america squeezes out your motivation, your creativity, and your drive if you are there long enough and if you are in the wrong spot long enough. in my situation, i feel like i try to ask questions and make change and i get rejected? so more stunting.
i feel like people would disagree, but with a 9h like i have (or if you have any of these objects singularly), you have to keep learning. you have to be in the right environment that allows you to continue to expand your being. you have to read outside of work, get certification, take classes, maybe even get more degrees.
personally, i feel like i am not as intelligent as i was a year ago - i'm tired and uninspired. i am tried of fighting for something different where closed mindedness exists. i never felt more free then i was when i was in a classroom.
to wrap this up, it doesn't matter how scary the house looks (chiron, pluto, etc). it needs your attention. if anything, you need to nurture it more. just because you didn't have the best experiences in the area doesn't mean you should ignore it - your "wounds", the "darkest" areas in your life still need your care. wounds heal and without the darkness we wouldn't know the beauty of the light.

I'm bored and I am not sure if anyone has done this yet but Gen V character and their majors if God U was a normal college (coming from a comms and english double major)
Starting off strong- Jordan would be Bio Chem. Jordan Li is a studious little nerd and I will not elaborate past that
Marie- Physical Therapy. Also- feel like I don't need to explain. Even in as a non supe she just loves helping people and would love being part of the process in healing others.
Emma- nursing. She is part of the 25 percent of nursing majors that are the sweetest people you will ever meet. She has a pink stanely, takes notes on her ipad and maintains a solid 3.5 even fs she is a big procrastinator. She is the kind of person where you don't have a pencil she will give you one of hers and let you keep it.
Andre- either finance or business. He only shows up to classes half the time and doesn't have a single class before 12pm. Manages to skate by through public quizlets, listening to audio versions of text books at 2 times speed, and going to office hours every week during the last month of the semester to make it seem like he is dedicated
Luke- psychology and comms double major. Originally he came in as only a comms major, and then his second semester he took a psych class and made that his minor, then the following semester he decided to just double major. For comms his focus is journalism. Maybe he there on scholarship- track and field perhaps. During the off season he gives university tours and is known through out campus and beloved by all. Most def apart of greek life on campus.
Cate- Marketing. I don't know how to explain it- it's a gut feeling. She is also a stanely girl.
Sam- business.

Rewatching Boy Meets World from S5-S7 is a wild time, because for all the emphasis this show places on the characters getting into college, we only end up finding out what one of them actually majors in once they're there. So, here's my ideas/thoughts that no one's asked for on everyone's eventual majors, from what I'm surest of to pure speculation:
Jack - Journalism & Engineering: First off, it's WILD to me that this is the only confirmed major we have from anyone on the show. Second, I have mixed feelings about it. Engineering makes total sense given his future career deals in the business of building pipelines/structures that could impact the environment but also make one very rich. However, why not make his second major be business then??? Even if the writers didn't know his future career then, they showed Jack has a propensity for entrepreneurship and is money motivated. It would've made way more sense for him to double in business or finance rather than a major we never saw him care for, as great as the journalism rep is. Or, if not business, do architecture! He mentioned wanting to be an architect and Eric said he'd be great at it! He had a highly technical and grand scheme kind of mind! Let him construct big things!
Topanga - Pre Law: Political-Science(?): We eventually find out in GMW that Topanga earns her Master's Degree in Political Science and ends up going to NYU law, but there's zero clue during BMW about her concentration while she's pre-law. Like...at all. I suppose she did political science given her later degree, but...maybe also not!
Shawn - English/Literature or Journalism: Shawn takes a lot of literature and writing courses in college (ignore that everyone else does as well), and he ends up working as a professional writer/photographer. I'd say he's an English major or something of the sort. Either that, or journalism adjacent. Very sure of this despite it not being mentioned directly.
Eric - Psychology: This is my strongest not-super-confirmed hunch. Not only do we see Eric take a ton of psych courses (ignore that everyone else does as well), but we're shown/told multiple times that the one thing he gets, even post-grad, is people. $20 what happened is he chose psych because, ah yes, I know people! I can study their minds!, only to reach graduation and realize he had no idea what to actually do with it. Panicked, he threw himself into community service/volunteering for a while as a way to still contribute to society/be helpful while buying himself time to figure things out. That built a solid rep for him with people -> people elected him mayor because he's great with people/the community -> people/the community elected him as senator because they trusted he cared about them/would work to advocate for their needs and what's right. Still think he should've been Feeny 2.0 or just studied meteorology like he wanted to from the start (screams), but I see the vision.
Cory - Education? History? Both?: Cory's college experience confuses me. He ends up a teacher, but we never received even a hint that that's what he was studying. I mean, you're telling me Mr. George Feeny, greatest teacher of all time, saw one of his favorite students majoring in education and didn't absolutely snag that boy aside to coach him in his image 24/7??? There's only two explanations I can think of here. 1) Cory majored in history (we see him take a few history classes) and went back to school to study as a teacher (since he later is a history teacher). 2) Cory switched majors to education after the show ended. I'm still mad he didn't just go into video journalism.
Angela - African American Studies/Literature(?): Angela mentions a few times doing papers regarding social justice/African American studies, but it's never really specified what it's all going toward. She also has a known love for poetry and literature (she owns lots of books/is seen writing and reading a lot), so she very well could've been doing something with that, too. I kind of like the idea of her becoming a prolific author writing on her feelings/experiences/thoughts on society/etc. It would be cool too if she ended up writing anything about her dad, especially in his honor once he passes.
Rachel - Social Work? Environmental Science? I think she mentions law at some point(?), but Rachel is kind of all over the place future-wise. We see her super unsure of what she wants to do in life, even right before graduation (ngl I giggled at the writers having her want to be so many things that require specific undergrad tracks & post-grad programs to even be considered for, be so fr you bunch). Given the fact she goes off to the Peace Corps, I'd like to think she was in the general realm of social work/sustainability/etc. and just went on to execute what she learned about that through the Peace Corps.

👀 Give me the d&d fic wheel for the WIP game
Okay I'm picking the one with the funniest title: Mark and the Guys
Which I ran out of steam on quickly but I want to finish even though the campaign's now long over because the conceit is fun for me specifically. It's written as an academic paper several hundred years after the events of our Curse of Strahd campaign by an academic psyched beyond belief at having found a new historical document, a betting record made by the (extremely gay) members of the Barovia Village Watch, who were laying amounts of money on whether or not whatever their captain had going on with that traveling bard was gay (it was).
It's been fun to resurrect my English Major Academic Language to the end of slashfic, so I'll probably continue it at some point.
Also it just brings me joy to imagine high fantasy college students in Barovian history class and having the longest and most detailed primary source document being three-hundred pages of a lapsed-Catholic ex-vampire trans guy waxing poetic about how much he loves his big hot tiefling paladin wife and telling people to get off his lawn.

Hey James! Feel free to not answer if you don't wanna, but I'm a non-American very confused by the concept of "majors" and "minors" in American university.
Over here, a university degree only offers classes directly related to the degree subject - there's no such thing as a major, because what you'd "major in" is just the subject your degree is on. EG you said Psychology and History; over here, if you were taking a Psychology degree, the only way you could also do History would be either by waiting for the Psychology one to be over and then returning to university to take a separate History degree, or by paying for non-university or online university courses during the Psychology degree. But these wouldn't count at all towards the Psychology degree if you did that - all your university course classes would purely be psychology-related.
I think it's why our degrees are shorter? An undergrad degree course is 2-3 years here, depending, coz they're only on the 1 subject.
How do majors and minors work? Do you need a minor in order to pass your major? What's up with that?
happy to answer! just to preface, there is a lot of variation within american schools, and a lot of places have specialized programs that are a lot closer to your experience -- I'm just going to be talking abt the more common model that's present most schools, including the one I attend. this got long as hell so it's all under the cut :-)
essentially, in american universities, you can take classes in any subject you want and a 'major' is just the topic you've chosen to specialize in. in order to graduate with a major in a specific topic, you need to take the specific courses the university considers essential to understanding it, and you need to take enough courses in that topic to fulfill the university's credit requirement (the amount of 'credits' a course is worth is based on its difficulty); for example, I'm a psych major, and these are my university's requirements for a major in psychology. some people also do a 'double major' where you graduate with a degree in two topics by fulfilling the major requirements for both.
the way that the american system generally diverges from others (and the reason that it generally takes 4 years for a degree here when it takes 3 in most places) is that there's a minimum credit requirement for graduating that's unrelated to your major -- for example, my university requires 120 total credits to graduate with a degree at all, even though earning the psychology degree itself only requires about ~40 credits worth of psych classes. the remaining 80 credits worth of classes are filled by classes you take Just For Fun as well as gen-ed requirements, which are subjects that all students are required to take regardless of major: foundational math, english, history, arts, and physical + biological sciences. these are required even for students who have no intention of pursuing these fields because they're thought to provide a more 'well-rounded' education. most students finish their gen-ed classes within the first two years of college.
a minor is essentially just a recognition of experience in a particular subject that also gets tacked on to your degree; it doesn't mean as much as a major to employers or grad schools, and it's generally a topic you have a personal passion for or think would help in your chosen field but don't want to devote your whole academic career to. not everyone does a minor, but it's definitely common. you pursue a minor the same way you do a major, but the requirements are a lot less intense -- for example, to get a psych minor at my university, you just need to take 15 credits worth of psych classes (which is just 4-5 classes).
when you fulfill the credit requirement to graduate university, you get a degree in whatever you majored in with the minor also listed. a lot of people don't like the system because it's less focused than a 3-year program, and I definitely get that (I think that gen-ed requirements can be pretty superfluous), but I think that the opportunity to branch out and take classes in any subject is a massive plus -- I've had the opportunity to take some extremely cool classes and learn a lot that I never would've been able to if I was restricted to just psychology :-)

i was looking at classes to replace my bio class and i didnt really want to take a lot of the english classes.. which is rlly sad bc i love english and i used to love reading and i love sharing my opinion on things but like. i cannot focus on anything anymore and it makes me want to shove my head in a blender. but i was also so interested in so many psychology classes. but if i switch my major to psych like . then what lol . like what can u do with an associates in psych other than go take more classes about psych. <- thing i can't do rn because my gpa is genuinely godawful. if i graduate spring2025 idneed to average like 2.64 in all my classes from now on to graduate with a 2.0 i think. and i need a 2.75 to enter the psych program for the college i was thinking of going to after this. but the thing is i'm also fucking awful at school & such i just love learning for fun. and am using school to kill time while i figure out what to do with my life (unsuccessfully)

You seem lovely, sorry you seem to get a lot of awful responses on posts that are effectively just positivity stuff. Hope less people are awful in the future and also you're able to like keep perspective on stuff like the loud people on the internet not being the majority and stuff. Wishing good things for you 💜
Thank you, that's very kind of you. ♥
I ... uh ... did let it get to me for a bit again recently. It's one of the reasons why my YouTube account has had months of inactivity. I also took a few days to just log out of Tumblr and not check the notifications. I needed, like you said, to keep perspective.
I was considering shutting down the blog. I never intended my blog here on Tumblr to become anything. At all. I was just trying to let out my rants here so my YouTube channel could focus more on gameplay and streaming. The blog would also maybe give a small life update for the like 3 people subscribed at the time. The hate, the anger, the belligerent remarks in my asks. It wasn't making me feel like this was worth it at all.
But that time off let me assess things, and there's a few things I've come to notice and fully accept:
People care what I have to say.
My Tumblr blog that wasn't me trying to make into any kind of "thing" is way more popular than my Youtube channel that I was trying to make into a "thing".
Point 2 happened because I thought the opposite of point 1 and needed a place to just get my rants out.
The bigotry and transphobia online is loud and not proportionate to the actual number of bigots and transphobes.
I'm loud, opinionated, and just want people to live freely and harmlessly as themselves without the fear of violence or judgement.
I can fight back against point 4 with careful application of point 5, and maybe put my university English and Psychology courses to good use (yes, I went to school to be a Software Engineer and I took Psych classes and English for fun ... don't ask me why I found English and Psych fun, I don't have an answer for you).
I should start cross-posting content between both because lets be real, half of you on this site get burned out by the second paragraph and probably haven't bothered to read this far. A video rant might actually get your attention and it would also make it easier for those with reading, sight, or tone issues to interact better.
So ... yeah ... I hope people will be less awful in the future too but ... I think I'm about to hit the hornets nest with a broom by dragging what everyone seems to enjoy about my trans positivity from Tumblr to YouTube. Rest assured, I'm not planning to stop advocating for freedom, equality, and safety for all.

Hi friend 🥰
Anemone - Were you ever interested in greek mythology?
Heather - What’s your favourite musical?
Delphinium - What’s your star sign? Does it suit you?
Also! Top 3 MVs that came out in 2023?
Hello friend!
Anemone - Yes! I didn't actually get really into Percy Jackson, but we had a Greek myths unit in my 6th grade English class, and we read D'aulaire's Book of Greek Myths. But at home we had other books of Greek myths as well, so I read them a lot! Also, I was an art history major so the Greeks and Romans and their art was so important, and a lot of that had to do with their myths! I think they're fascinating and have had so much impact on narrative and archetypes and symbolism.
Heather - uuuuuhhhhhhhh okay so serious answer: idk! i have a lot i'm fond of bc we listened to them a lot when i was a kid, including Les Mis, Cats, 1776, and The Music Man, and then there are a lot of movie musicals that i do really love
funny answer: Galavant (2015-2016) and Psych: The Musical
Delphinium - i'm a pisces, and while i don't really think or know a lot about astrology, but what i've read and seen seems like half and half accurate
Top three MVs from 2023: this was kinda tricky, but i here we go :D
Haegum, Agust-d - i love the grungy noir vibe, i love the color scheme and the lighting, and i love watching agust-d be unhinged
Bouncy, ATEEZ - every aspect of this MV worked so well together. i love production design and all the behind the scenes stuff that goes into making a movie/etc, and i desperately want a round table with all of the creatives that worked on that. i love that all the promotion material worked together and built out the world this album lived in
Limbo, DPR Ian - this MV restarted my creativity and desire to do art again. I'm not super familiar with the DPRIMVCU, but i love his aesthetics and commitment to it, and how it all goes so well with the sound of his music

More Braindead Panic 1 thoughts heehoo
I'm percolating! Thoughts are percolating! Nothing is set in stone I'm just brainstorming here.
So like. I DO wanna pare down the roster now that we don't have to get Every Single Camper in there. We can at least like more easily relegate some characters to background status. Elton doesn't need to be here all the time. Nils is barely ever relevant. Its fine. They don't have to go they can just have greatly reduced roles.
Anyway like. Idk. Everyone is at a university probably, how they are brought together is...slightly unclear. Maybe they're all in the same Psychic Studies class, maybe they're in the same dorm building, maybe they're in an extracurricular together, maybe they're all participating in experiments for the psychic science program (willingly, like psych undergrads), maybe they're brought together by happenstance. Whatever. What I'm sure of is that it's not because they all have the same major. Koschei is undeclared (maybe history or wildlife management actually?), Rue is botany/biochem, Not Vernon is doing something in either English or film. You get it.
So what's the plot. Good question! Like I mentioned before my brain took some stuff from Gideon the Ninth and ran with it but I didn't really have much else until I got back into octopath and started thinking about Cyrus Albright's story again, which. I will not spoil but has influenced my ideas here
So there's either an old psychic studies building or a door in the current building/labs that nobody ever opens, right? It's always closed, it has a sign that says 'do not open', and as far as most of the students and faculty are concerned, the sign is put up because there's something maintenance or campus IT will yell at them for messing with otherwise. The only people who would suspect something is fishy are those who notice the door is lined with something to prevent psychic observation and interference in an area other than the labs.
And then one day one of the students goes missing. A psychic one. A lot of rumors abound- did they drop out without telling anyone? Did the stress of college get to them? Were they kidnapped? Was it a hate crime? Nobody knows. And nobody knows until Koschei finds himself on the other side of the door a few days later. Idk why he's there. Maybe he was invited to a trial, maybe it was open late at night and their curiosity got the better of them, doesn't matter. The point is that what's on the other side of the door isn't a maintenance room, or a server room, or anything else sensitive but normal. It’s a staircase into a huge underground facility full of weird labs and archive and test chambers. And in one of the labs is the desiccated husk of that missing classmate. Someone notices Koschei and he barely makes it out alive. But like- holy shit, what WAS that?? What can he do??? Who will believe him???? He could go to the campus cops, but he knows they won't do shit. He could tell the faculty of the university, but would they believe him, or would he invite further danger on himself??
So he ends up telling his two closest friends (and maybe study partners? [Who will become his Romantic Partners over the course of the story]), Rue and Vernon (new name pending). And then it becomes a whole thing, going on expeditions into the facility to find out what happened to their classmate, what's being studied down there, and why other psychics around campus are disappearing as well.
