What's Gretchen's opinion on Strauss?

She respected him for going out of his way to take her in as an apprentice despite her technically being an "illegal" Tremere fledgling that's outside of the Pyramid. There was no denying that he taught her a lot, however, it wasn't enough for her. It didn't take long for Gretchen to feel as if Strauss and the Camarilla in general were holding her back from reaching her true potential. She aspired to learn rather darker arts while honing her current powers on her own. Gretchen joining the Sabbat was inevitable, as was Strauss's demise. She couldn't bring herself to diablerize him in the end. Those last few moments prior to him being reduced to ash made her heart bleed for a little while until it grew numb again as she carried on in her new unlife without looking back, her late mentor becoming a distant memory as the years went on.
