Ok sooo...a cool person ( @regretfullyrave ), convinced me to create a post about a few of my OCs for my future murder drones AU called "It lives on Ebony 8" and welll.....here it is! XD

I'll also first say that my AU takes place on a completely different Exoplanet called Ebony 8 (which instead of being ice and snow is mostly just forest and rivers, no oceans tho, unfortunately), but still used to be inhabited by humans before the disassembly drones attacked 😅

But, here's a list of my MD OCs! :3 or at least, the OC's I think are most important XD

1. Xane- Grumpy boi Xane! XD Before he was sent to earth, he, as well as two other disassembly drone ocs, Beta and Green, had a virus implanted within them which became known as "The Dark Matter infection" (which sort of gave Cyn an easy access to, not take them as hosts, but use them as puppets instead). Although Xane loves to fight, he hates to fight when controlled by Cyn and wishes to find a cure.

Other than that, Xane may seem pretty threatening, but deep down he's a big softie (he won't admit it tho XD)

2. Eric- Eric is my worker drone oc, and possibly the main character of my AU 👀 his parents once studied the disassembly drones and the The Dark Matter infection and after their death, Eric continued their work, but also befriended Xane and helps to find a cure for him.

Eric is smart, but not a very good fighter XD but he's kind and willing to give second chances. He finds disassembly drones way more fascinating than scary too lol

3. Green - (creative name, I know TvT) Just like Xane, Green also has the Dark Matter infection. When she landed on Ebony 8, she took a lot of damage. Her weapon system was damaged beyond repair, leaving her somewhat defenceless. However, without her weapon system, she couldn't easily overheat, meaning she didn't have a need to kill worker drones for oil. She actually ended up befriending a worker drone colony and becoming sort of a protector of them. Green is pretty chill and laid back tho and not overly dramatic like Xane XD

4. Beta - Once again, he has the Dark Matter infection too 😅 he's still a character I'm developing, but from what I can say, he's a pretty jumpy and paranoid dude and always nervous. And his best friend is a cat called Milo! :3 (Beta is a major cat person XD)

5. M - M is the leader of one of the disassembly drone squads (Xane's ex-squad too). She...uh...also killed Eric's parents...heh....😅 M is also kind of in love with Xane (despite Xane not feeling the same way at all XD), but M is pretty much a psychopath. However, I do want to continue developing her and perhaps giving her some motivations to her actions. Like...I know M is pretty evil...but I do believe she might be capable of change somehow.....just gotta keep developing her character 😅

6. Cortex - one of my newer Ocs, who was originally a worker drone, but I changed him to a disassembly drone instead XD He's M's twin brother, but I haven't developed a solid backstory or personality for this character yet. All I can say I that...he's not at crazy as M 😅 I'm still also trying to decide whether he would be a villain or not, but I have been thinking of giving him a similar role to J in some way.

As an added bonus, here's a little concept of Cortex when he was still a worker drone in development 👀

But yea...those are just the OCs that I think are pretty important in my AU so far :D they're all a work in progress and will probably change over time (except Xane, of course) :3

not sure if anyone's asked you this before/yet, but so you have any opinions or thoughts of the relationship between all of the pantheons? general relationship and possibly some more personal ones?

I've read many different headcanons and fanfiction where people have mentioned their thoughts on it, but nothing they've ever gone into detail about.

there's nothing really preventing them from interacting *👀 I keep remembering the smallest tiniest hint of freypollo we got* but that doesn't mean they go out of their way doing it, yk?

The pantheons I'll be mainly focusing on are the Greek, Roman, Norse, & Egyptian ones. I'll probably make little nods to other ones too tho :3

GREEK & ROMAN

Let's kick it off with these two!

"But aren't they the same-?"

Nope! The Roman pantheon started off as their own sets of gods - the thing is, they had very little myths written down so we don't know much about how they were characterized :(

Howmever. We do know that when they were synchronized with Greece's gods, you can see the little differences between them - for instance, the Roman gods were more Forces Of Nature than gods who went out and Did Stuff, like Greece's.

Jupiter for example! He didn't have the "fucks around" rep Zeus does! Jupiter from the Roman's perspective didn't go out and do much. He rooted on Aeneus, yes, but the myths of his children weren't quite as popular in Rome as they were in Greece (probably because they were. ya know. Greek heroes, and not Roman)

And Apollo. Oh, Apollo...the only major god who didn't have a Latin equivalent.

Rome loved you so much they adopted you and went "no. no. he was always here. no we aren't lying. see? he's in the Dii Consentes!" XD

Fun Fact: Apollo is basically multiple gods in a trench coat. Paion (Mycenean), Smitheus (Mycenean), Aplu (Etruscan), Apaulinus (Hittie), Grannus (Celtic), ect were all Apollo-equivalents who historians have concluded to be past incarnations of Apollo!

Also, I headcanon that Helios and Ra go WAAAAYYYY back and Apollo only met Ra like. once. before Isis did her blackmailing and Ra disappeared.

SO WHEN RA CAME BACK, WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN DURING HOO BTW, APOLLO HAS NO IDEA! HE'S ON DELOS AT THAT POINT! THEN HIS TRIALS!

So when he rolls up to the next sun god meeting he sees Ra and is like "wait what who are you- OH WAIT!"

And Ra's like; "WHO LET THIS CHILD BE PUT IN CHARGE OF THE SUN???"

Apollo: I'm over 4,000 years old-

(Headcanon that Ra & Amaterasu are like. the defacto sun god 'leaders' who keep the meetings rolling. Amaterasu was very tired when Ra disappeared and she had to wrangle these fiery gods together XD)

Finally, I also saw someone else mention that Apollo could have learned some Egyptian magic and used it to create the border of CHB!

"I am damaged..."

That's the first thing you heard Ominis mutter to himself when he thought he was all alone in the Undercroft.

He hadn't realized you were there as well, quietly studying your books and trying to feel like a normal student for once.

Ever since you attended Hogwarts as a late bloomer, things were anything but normal from the get-go.

After saving the school (and more or less the entire wizarding world) from certain doom at the hands of Ranrok and Rookwood, you hoped to end this year on the best note possible. It was hard given all of the friends you've lost along the way, but a lot of good came out of it, too.

Ominis was one such example. Despite the rocky start you both had when he caught you sneaking out of the Undercroft that fateful day, you managed to make amends and grow closer together.

You never thought that same snobby blind boy who threatened to report you to the headmaster would be the one to confess his feelings for you.

It was in the days following you winning the house cup for [House], and when you finally had a moment alone to talk to him, he finally made his move. His way of courting you was so sweet and eloquent--fitting for the Slytherin from such a privileged class.

Of course other students had eyes for you, too, but Ominis loved you for who you are and not for your ancient magic and reputation as a "hero". Going on different adventures with you and Sebastian made him realize what kind of person you truly were:

An unreliable "acquaintance" of his best friend who reeked of distrust in the beginning, turned to a kind person who was always by his side through thick and thin in the end.

Now that you two have officially become a couple, you managed to coax him into accompanying you on more excursions both inside and outside of the castle.

Although he couldn't see the beauty of the world and all its magical creatures, you described it to him how ever you could--whether it's a Thestral resting underneath the ribcage of some enormous beast's skeleton, or the charred corpse of a spider you've just slain with Incendio. He loved how you spoke of them regardless of the scenario.

On top of that, you've taken up to helping more people in the local hamlets and villages, with Ominis reassuring them that he's not some cruel and mean Slytherin from the Gaunt family, and that he genuinely cared for their concerns.

However...your latest mission ultimately had taken a turn for the worst, and you had some serious regrets on taking your boyfriend along for the ride.

It seemed to be just like any other poacher camp you've shutdown. But the locals informed you that this one in particular was in charge of trafficking beast skins...or selling beasts to butchers.

You urged Ominis to discreetly free the creatures from their cages, taking out the nearby guards with Petrificus Totalus, while you ambushed the poachers on the other side of the camping grounds. But you both failed to realize that some of Rookwood's goons were among their midst, seeking to avenge him and make it very clear that you'll never be safe again.

He had every intention to murder you; you were just protecting yourself against his Killing Curse, though of course his gang wouldn't understand that. They just saw you and began throwing whatever spell they had at their disposal.

You took most of them down with ease, while Ominis finished freeing the last purple toad and rushed to assist you in the fight.

But then he stopped upon hearing three distinct things that would forever haunt him: A dark wizard shouting "Crucio", the sparks of electricity crackling in the air...

And your brief, yet painful, screams.

Despite his wand detecting only you and the one ashwinder casting the curse, he was frozen on the spot, unable to bring himself to move forward and save you. It was like somebody had casted Petrificus Totalus on him.

He could have taken them out right away, but...he was terrified.

Suddenly he felt like he was back in the Slytherin Scriptorium, where Sebastian had to cast the same curse on you in order to proceed forward--something Ominis had tried in vain to protest against.

He knew he wasn't there, it was all in his mind, yet all he could think about were your screams.

Then he thought about the screams of those innocent muggles he watched his family torture...before he remembered his own screams after they tortured him for refusing to use the curse, not giving up until he finally relented.

The rest of that moment was a blur, but at some point you managed to yank out a Mandrake from your bag and stun the ashwinder long enough to use Expelliarmus and lacerate their legs with Diffindo.

While that shrieking plant made Ominis briefly deaf, too, it snapped him out of his trance, bringing him back to reality as you rushed over to him. You fled the campsite together on Highwing's back, drinking some wiggenweld on your way back to the castle, not speaking until you were safely on schoolgrounds.

That all happened yesterday...and he was still quite distressed. He didn't seem comfortable talking about those events too much, and you couldn't blame him. So you left it be, apologizing for the stress you caused, and tried making it up to him with a trip into Hogsmede.

However, this morning you didn't find him in the Great Hall or anywhere in the Slytherin Section. Not even Sebastian knew of his whereabouts, assuming you "lost" him; fortunately there weren't many places that your boyfriend frequented.

The Undercroft was your next best guess.

Yet it was empty when you arrived, much to your annoyance.

You figured Ominis will eventually turn up here, so you transfigured a sofa out of some pile of armor and decided to catch up on your studies. But obviously it was hard to focus on the texts when all you could think about was him..

At some point he finally arrived, and you nearly jumped up to ask where the hell he's been...until he started mumbling rather concerning things to himself, apparently unaware of your presence.

Then you noticed he didn't have his wand in-hand, feeling the walls and eventually sitting down on the floor, leaning against one and curling up. He certainly knew the Undercroft's layout well enough to not need it constantly, but his behavior was still extremely concerning.

Especially his remark about being "damaged", which had you gravely worried about his physical well-being.

"Ominis, what do you mean by "damaged"? Are you hurt?"

"MC..?! Oh, Merlin..d-didn't realize you were here." Although startled at first, he quickly calmed down upon hearing your voice and approaching footsteps. "I'm alright. I was just...th-thinking up some poetry. You know, Thakkar has been giving me some really good advice-"

"Wow, you're a worse liar than I ever was," you chuckled lightly, kneeling down in front of him. "You know he's away on a family trip, right?"

"......."

"....Ominis?"

His silence worried you greatly, especially as he suddenly hid his face in his arms, now unwilling to look at you for some reason.

"If you wanna hide from me, love, Disillusionment is more-"

"D-Do...I even deserve to be called that anymore?" He mumbled in a trembling voice that made your stomach sink.

"....huh? Of course you do." Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "What's going on? You can be honest with me. If...I did something to upset you recently, I'm sorry-"

"No. You...d-don't have to be sorry about anything. It's me who should be the sorry one."

"Darling, what do you mean-?"

"Stop. Please. I-I think the proper term is "bloody stinking coward". I could have stopped that ashwinder f-from using the Cruciatus Curse...he was right there and I could have done something! But I didn't!" Ominis began to ramble, unable to stop his voice from shaking and rising in volume. "I-I stood there like a bumbling half-witted mooncalf wh-while he tortured you!"

You frowned slightly, gently setting your hands on his arms as you finally understood why he was so distraught. "Ominis, you were occupied in freeing all those beasts. You can't be in two places at once, and I'm not angry at you for that. And besides, the curse didn't hurt me badly this time. I know it scares you, but...."

However you trailed off as he lifted his head, and your heart cracked in two upon seeing the tears streaking down his face like rivers of salt water.

Only now did you realize what he meant by feeling "damaged"---and it wasn't in the physical sense. But the emotional.

"That's exactly my problem...I was too scared to do anything." He shuddered. "Wh-Who just stands by and...and lets their fears of the past consume them?! And nearly gets the love of their life killed because of it?!! That's something only a broken person does, MC...someone who's far too damaged t-to stand up for-"

"Don't say that. Nothing about you is "broken" or "damaged"." You pulled him into your arms, feeling him fall completely limp against you. "You are the furthest thing from either of those."

For a few moments, he was silent as he absorbed your words. But when he tried to respond, all that came from his lips was something between a gasp and a loud sob. He choked out an apology for losing his composure so quickly, though you just hushed him.

"Shhhh, it's okay." You held him tighter than ever, keeping one hand on the back of his head. ''Just let it all out. I'm not going anywhere, my love. And I mean that..I still love you."

With trembling hands, Ominis grasped onto your cloak, tears soaking into your shoulder as he allowed all of his emotions to spill. His sobs echoed freely in the Undercroft, not caring about anything anymore; not even if Sebastian were to walk in right now.

After all that's happened this year, it was just too much for him to keep locked inside: he lost his oldest friend to the Dark Arts, Anne was likely never going to reach out to him again....all that he really had left was you.

Yet he felt like none of his experiences made him any stronger, unlike you--who also lost so much and, at the same time, gained great powers that allowed you to protect those dearest to you.

But who would be there to protect you?

That's where Ominis came into the picture, wanting to fight for you after everything you've done to save Hogwarts. His worst fear was losing you forever anytime you went off on a dangerous mission. So he actually insisted on going out with you more often to put his mind at ease..plus he wanted to be sure you're not doing something too reckless.

But if he was only going to freeze up every time some dark wizard merely spoke the incantation of a certain Unforgivable....then how could he ever hope to save you when you needed him most?

He felt pathetic and useless, essentially forcing you to figure out how to escape that situation yourself while he stood there like some idiot.

What if you didn't conveniently have a Mandrake tucked in your bag? What if you had been in too much pain to grab it?

What then?

At that point, he felt like he was too broken to be with someone as strong as you. This relationship was done for, he believed, and sooner or later you'd grow tired of his cowardice and resent him for not stepping in.

He thought you were going to break it off for sure now that you see how "difficult" he was being.

But that was far from the truth. You didn't shun him or demand an explanation for why he acted the way he did. Instead you let him cry in your arms--something that no one in his life offered when he was at his lowest--staying here in this safe haven together and reaffirming your love for him.

He didn't know whether to feel grateful or selfish.

"I-I tried, MC..I..I really tried to help you." He wept, his face now buried in your neck. "But I guess I'm...just doomed to hurt everyone around me. That's all I'm good at."

"You're not doomed to live that way, Ominis. You haven't hurt me at all, and I know damn well you'd never hurt anybody on purpose."

"Really? T-Tell that to my family...we were monsters who tortured and killed muggles for fun-"

"They did that for fun, not you. You're not a monster like them. I know this because you refused to follow in their footsteps. And by Merlin, I'm glad you were a stubborn child..even after all they put you through." You softly spoke, kissing his head as you felt his arms tighten their hold around you. "All I see now is someone who's even stronger than them, with a good heart that would've won him a spot in Gryffindor for sure."

"....w-with Prewett, Weasley, and all those twits? I don't think so.." He chuckled lightly, sniffling as he rested his head on your shoulder and fell quiet. He felt a lot calmer than before, sighing tiredly. "..I'm sorry. I-It was never my intention to burden you with this, love. You already deal with so much. I just wish I...could've been just a bit stronger for you."

"Don't worry about me, okay?" You smiled. Even though he couldn't see it, you hoped he'd at least imagine it. "I saw how sneaky you were around those poachers. You petrified them before they even knew what hit 'em."

"Of course. I had to do something, right?" He huffed, although he smiled a little bit.

"You did great, darling. If the beasts could talk, I'd say they'd be thanking you over and over. You saved their lives. They probably think you as their hero."

"I thought it was that Hufflepuff girl's job to be the "hero of beasts"...but I don't mind that title, too."

A calming silence fell over you two, save for Ominis' light sniffles. But eventually he was the first to let go, his hands reaching for the sides of your face moments later, wanting to ensure you weren't injured at all.

You helped guide him there, your skin growing warm at his touch. He felt around for any recent scarring or bruising across your flesh, being grateful that he found nothing of the sort.

Meanwhile, you kept smiling as you observed his own face. Although he looked like a complete mess after all that crying, he still managed to appear quite handsome in your eyes.

You knew he desperately needed that outlet, and you were happy he finally confided in you.

At the end of the day, you'll love him no matter what.

This is important btw I'm going to go FERAL like PLS WDYM OUR TRAUMATIZED ICEY EMP GUY GETS HALF POSSESSED??

EEEEHEHEH OKAYYY SO (keep in mind I have NOT read the book of bill yet due to not being able to easily get it in my country, I'll be getting it around december possibly?? So Bill 2nd dimension lore may be a bit off, not sure tho!!)

Also this will probably be a bit of a long rant, and possibly a bit messy and I have no idea if it'll make sense to anyone other than me..

Also Bill would have a nickname for Zane but I'm still brainstorming one so I guess he's just..Zane for now(/ref)

The basic idea is that Bill replaces Vex. We're gonna think about Bill's ability to see the 3rd dimension and how he's 'outcasted' like Vex's formlessness. Instead of him destroying his dimension, he travels away from everyone in a corner of the 2nd dimension and develops a personality quite similar to how he is in GF canon. (with a bit of Vex dropped in there but they're incredibly similar anyways).

Zane gets blasted by Aspheera but instead of ending up in the Never Realm, he ends up in the 2nd dimension, quite close to where Bill was at the time. Much like Zane and Vex, Bill saw Zane, Zane didn't see Bill. (I'll probably draw a visual on what Zane and Bill would look like in the 2 dimension compared to 2nd dimensional beings some time in the future).

Bill discovers another 3rd dimensional being! Yay!! (Bill pressures Zane into a deal by saying he can help him find home. (Play on words - Zane's new home is a mix between the Emperor's Castle and the Fearamid). Bill possesses Zane, navigates his robo brain, sees a whole thing in Zane's mind about his fear of memory erasure, ignores it, finds a way to erase his memories, and pulls a Vex.)

Bill possesses Zane in a way that Zane is still consciously inside of his body, but kind of shares it with Bill?? If this makes sense. So it's like a split personality sort of cliché thing between person and demon. Zane is still there so he can still power the scroll of forbidden spinjitzu, but Bill can project his own 3 dimensional 'powers' on it too.

Bill uses the scroll to turn the 2nd dimension 3 dimensional more intricately, unlike in GF canon where it just destroyed the entire thing.

And, due to time moving differently in Bill's perspective.. uhh Zane is there for a bit longer than 60 years 😁😁😁😁🤣🤣!!! (millennia)

Since the dimension is now 3D, 2D beings, (eg. Bill's family, diff shapes,) they have to try their best to navigate a 3D plane as 2D shapes. Basically moving across walls and some of the weird shit Bill and Zane make during this like, slightly ice oriented weirdmageddon.

Over these millennia, there would be times where Bill would go and explore other dimensions and bring back the henchmaniacs and all that, leaving Zane to just go insane and with all the weirdness around him, not knowing who he really is other than what Bill tells him. He tries his very damn well best to make sense of everything but just can't even though it's all he remembers.

Zane and Bill also form a close relationship that's kinda like a mix of Zane and Vex's relationship (power imbalance, and in the sense of how Vex manipulated Zane and would probably scold him for not doing stuff) and Bill and Ford's (In how they interact. Acting as if an idea was their own, praise, false sense of equality in their relationship).

(Also when I say 'relationship' I'm not necessarily saying I ship any of these characters romantically.)

There's probably so much more I could say, ESPECIALLY to do with the angst aspects, and I probably will rant more about this some time, but that's basically the big idea. But things may also change because I'm still building the AU up because it is actually quite a big thing to me :33

I have Levi fever at the moment. I also wrote this while I was fighting off my sleep meds, sorry. - please keep in mind that everyone who has panic attacks has them differently, so mine could be vastly different from yours. You slammed the door to your room in the barracks, stumbling to your bed. You coughed, trying to breathe, and clutched the fabric chest when you were unable to. “I,” you gasped, wanting to cry out for help, but being unable to. Who could you talk to about this? The other scouts were trying their best to forget it already. Half of his face was gone. He was your best friend and half of him was gone.

Tears streamed down your eyes as you coughed and grabbed a glass of water. You had to calm down. You drank some, but it dripped down your shirt and you flinched, dropping the glass on the floor. “No, no,” you whisper-screamed as your trembling hands tried to shovel the broken glass up. 

A knock came on your door.

You shakily inhaled enough breath to call out, “Go away.” 

“It’s Captain Levi.”

You cursed to yourself as you stared at your bloody hands. The shards from the glass must’ve cut you when you were trying to clean them up. When you didn’t respond and let out a sob, the door opened. 

“What’s going on in here?” He asked, his eyes going from the tears streaming down your face to the broken glass to the blood on your hands. “Shit, cadet, what happened?” He muttered, his tone filled with worry.

You sniffled, unable to catch your breath. You turned away, not wanting to look weak in front of him. You heard his footsteps recede and thought that would be the end; you thought he would have just left you alone. You thought he would because it was Levi; he wasn’t a therapist or anything. He was just a guy. But you felt something tug at your wrist and you flinched hard. 

You turned to see him, sitting on your bed with a first-aid kit. You, again, tried to put on a brave front, but you felt your heart palpitate and you gasped as you thought all of the air in your lungs was escaping. “Can’t,” you cried out in a panic, “can’t breathe.”

Levi seemed to recognize this fairly quickly. His eyes widened slightly and he showed you his hand, then placed it on your arm—a reminder that you could still feel. That you were still alive and real. “I’m here,” he stated. “Breathe with me, okay?”

The blood dripped down your arm and you shivered as you felt it. “But the—”

“We will deal with that in a moment,” he replied, his voice soft, yet stern. “Breathe. In,” he inhaled, “and out.” He exhaled. He waited for your shaky breath to slow down before he repeated it softly. “In,” he whispered. In. “and out.” Out. Levi nodded when your breathing was under better control. “Good,” he murmured, “just like that.” Your tears still fell, but something about the way Levi’s chest was also rising and falling at the same time as yours was calming. You kept your eyes on him.

“I’m going the clean up your hands and bandage them now, okay?” He asked for confirmation before touching you. You nodded slowly, holding your shaky arms out. He looked at you with furrowed, worried brows before examining the state of your injuries. “Whenever you’re ready to talk—if you want to talk—you can.”

Levi took a wet cloth and cleaned all of the blood off.

“Half of his body was gone,” you mumbled. Levi looked up at you with a familiar sadness in his gaze.

“I know. Marco, wasn’t it?”

You nodded.

“I know cadet,” he said, his voice softening as you let out a sob. He shushed your cries, nodding. “I know. I know.”

Levi then used tweezers to pick out the tiny shards with care. He poured gauze over your wounds. When you didn’t even flinch, he looked at you again. “Cadet?” He called out to you, making sure your mind was still there, “Are you feeling any better?” He wrapped your hands and arms up.

You shrugged. “I don’t know.”

He stayed at your side as he put everything back in the first-aid kit. “It has been a long day, cadet. Let’s go down to the mess hall and get something to eat. You need to maintain your strength.” You nodded silently. Something about your silence irked him. “I’ll show you where I keep my tea, too. We can make some.” You nearly smiled at his attempt to cheer you up. 

“Thank you, Captain.”

S2E4: Sleepless

Case: In Alex Krycek's first episode, our story begins, not with Alex Krycek (booo), but with a man's apartment starting on fire and the man calling 911, except when the fire department arrives, there is no fire, but there is a dead guy who we later learn died from believing he was burning to death. Weird! Cue credits.

As we wait for Alex Krycek to arrive, Mulder receives cryptic information under his door from an unknown source (tho I bet I know who the source is! X, my beloved...) leading him to the case of the imaginary fire. The problem is that another agent has also been assigned to the case... my friends, Alex Krycek, our favorite piece of shit rat bastard, has entered the mfing chat. (He stands right in front of Mulder as the tape Mulder's listening to goes, "I'm waitin' here like some kind of a bimbo," which I thought was extremely apt.)

While Mulder does his best to keep Alex Krycek out of the loop (and also bring Scully INTO the loop) more weird deaths happen. We are then formally introduced to X—Mulder's newest (and absolute best) informant, who fucking hates him and hates being his informant and who has extremely angry homoerotic energy with him every time they interact. (In my notes, that no one reads but myself, I have "X!!! X and Krycek in the same episode <3" written down, in case you were curious how I felt about that.)

Anyway, yada yada, turns out there was a secret experiment done on some military dudes in Vietnam, and they have not slept since. This apparently gives one of the dudes the power of the Force, as he's able to convince people that they're experiencing things that aren't really happening, such as burning to death. He has decided that he and the others he served with are all horrible sinners who committed war crimes and should die, so that's why he's going around murdering them with his mind (or something, I wasn't 100% clear on his motive).

Alex Krycek is on the case! (With Mulder ig.)

Mulder won't shake Alex Krycek's hand as he's waitin' there like some kind'a bimbo; Alex Krycek is ditched like someone's bad date; Scully meets Alex Krycek and is deeply unimpressed (and also won't shake his hand); Mulder warms up to Alex Krycek over the course of the episode, which is ofc very hilarious to anyone who has watched this show before; Alex Krycek mistakes a Bible for a gun (hate it when that happens); I have in my notes "they should make out" and I'm not sure if it's referring to Mulder and Alex Krycek or Mulder and X, but either way, I mean like, yeah; and it might be entirely possible that Alex Krycek... isn't quite who he says he is...👀 (He's bad. He's a bad guy. We all know he's a bad guy. But he's also bad at being a bad guy and also bad at everything else, and that's why he's my favorite forever and ever amen. 🙏)

Does someone die in the cold open: Yes, and it makes Scully very confused when she does the autopsy later

Does Mulder present a slideshow: No, and as I'm writing this I'm realizing how absolutely robbed we were of Mulder doing a slideshow for Krycek, wtf

Does the evidence survive the investigation: Lol, nah. Wonder who could have possibly stolen it...

Whodunit: Really, really, really bad insomnia

Convictions: They're all dead and also they have no evidence or files. Zip nada nothin', y'all

Did they solve it: Lol no. I mean, technically yes, they know what happened, but they have no proof of it at all and can't do an investigation into it. Ig I'll call it a "no, but" and give them experience points and let them add X to their inventory. And Krycek, but they don't want him there lol.

I love love LOVE The Bastard of Camelot! Thank you for creating such a deep and nuanced story. I also love how controverary/breaking out of expectancy Mordred can be. My fav possible part of playthrough is Merlin saying to Arthur "your daughter/son will be the end of Camelot" and then Mordred transing their gender (as it is one of many other things what was chosen for/assigned for them and is not who they actually are), sending the entire Prophecy phrasing to shambles. I know it's not that simple and prophecies are vague and complicated, but I just love how in my playthrough Merlin was all "your daughter will ruin everything", and then just some 12-15 years later Arthur was like "but I don't have...a daughter. I have a son tho?"

I also love all possible parallels between Arthur and Mordred, be it in the way their close circles try to protect them in a rather Not Nice way, or how they phrase things the same way (Arthur telling Morgana she whispers into Mordred's ear the same way Merlin does into his and then Mordred saying it almost word by word. It's just one of the few examples, there were several and I loved them all)

Also THANK SER KAI for being the only knight from Arthur's side of things(the second one if you count Arthur himself) who isn't antagonistic towards Mordred and actually extremely supportive. Kai and Gawain are the literal best ever for being as non-judgemental as they are.

I also took it for my personal mission to woo Galahad. I'm already invisioning physic damage Morgana and Lancelot will get from this couple. Morgana did say it would be funny if Lancelot's son ended up liking Mordred, but I doubt she meant like THAT, esp if Mordred is very vulnerable to hurt from Galahad due to his feeble heart being "this one tho. He's the one".

I'm really patient whatever I do (I'm actually studying law and it's really hard) but sometimes, I just run out of patience and boum! I explode like a volcano🤣 Saying a lot of bad words (not to people but to my belongings like my notebooks. Jin: He kinda does this too sometimes, so he gets it, but he really doesn’t like seeing you upset, so he tends to go into ‘Y/n Defense Mode’, wanting to know who/what irritated you and how he can fix it as soon as possible. “Yah, what’d they do? Give me names!”

Yoongi: Ngl, he’s gonna find it a lil hot sometimes jdgfjskfhdiu. But seriously, he gets that sometimes shit just gets to you and you gotta vent a little. If you start to get really worked up, he’ll try to calm you down, but otherwise he lets you work it out at your own pace

Hobi: He gets soo startled the first few times it happens, like ‘wtf happened to my sweet baby?! Since when do you use those words?!’ He might try to diffuse at least some of your anger if you’re really mad, but I think he mostly just tries to stay out of your way when you’re like this.

Namjoon: Tbh, he’s got a lil bit of a temper too, so he’s not that shocked, moreso just surprised to hear that kind of language from you. He mostly lets you be, trusting you to let him know if something’s really bothering you, and offering to talk if you need to.

Jimin: I think he’d be so genuinely startled at first, he thought he was the one with the temper in your relationship! He’s more concerned about why you're upset than anything else tho, wanting to try and find a solution or way to help out you if he can.

Taehyung: Similar to Jimin, I think he’d more worried than anything, wanting to know why you’re upset and if there’s any way he can help. He really hates seeing you upset, so he’d try to find a way to make you smile, whether that’s a simple kiss or surprising you with your fave food.

Jungkook: The first time he hears you get mad and curse, he’s like 👀, it’s just so different from your normal personality, he doesn’t quite know what to think. For the sake of your books and things, he might ask if you wanna try some boxing or smth with him to vent your frustrations.

I feel like that dink wouldn't 100% part to sage to the point he isn't himself anymore but rather they are affected by each other in way similar to Eddie and venom, them both needing each other as they share a common enemy altho to degrees as the chain isn't on sight with sage then with dink but they both hate the chain and them wanting reader to themselves I would think they would have a similar relationship to venom and Eddie with the hole dink needing a host and sage was at the right time and place as other links would physically would fit to being dink's host like sage since their all links but unlike sage they have a personal problems with each other that would be too much work fo dink plus if dink did become just part of sage and not one being anymore he wouldn't be able to spy on reader without reader noticing. Tho the two can read each other's thoughts and see their memories. I pitch this: dink always had dark thoughts over reader ever since reader played the loz games infact he always was watching them aware that there was a screen between him and them, he heard their voice and saw their face. He was watching them every minute they were on that device they used, studying them taking notes and getting every info he get his hands on, in the games where link fought against his shadow he would always stare at them when he get the chance at first it was his curiosity to learn more on how to take down these links and I guess this person who was with link at all times but as the relationship between reader and the links grew and reader playing more loz games it became much more darker than it was before till he got enough info on what reader's actions and seeing how their not really that much of a threat when link isn't in the equation and knowing how the links would help anyone who needed help and how they are close to reader, he picked them kidnapping them from their world to his and so placing them near the chain as a way toy with them as they getting much more obsessed over reader did he too and when the day finally came he took reader and sage at girst he wanted to kill reader but their was something in his heart that just didn't want too, so instead he took them both back to the real world. What I'm basically saying self aware yandere dink. So the possibility sage gets fangs please. I got this from a dream, just dink watching reader when they play the loz games and each time they play those games and he pops up he gets much more self aware and the desire to know every single thing about reader by watching and hacking into their device and like how that horror game( AMANDA adventure I think that's what it's name is) he gets out of the screen when reader finishes Tolk he just snatches them and takes them to the era where the chain is in like he is behind them when their playing the Tolk game while reader and everyone else is unaware.

Sage and Dink as Eddie and Venom is something I can fully get behind, although I still love the idea that Dink is slowly losing anything that isn't Sage, due to losing his magic even though at some point they don't separate anymore - yes they lose the ability to spy on reader but it wouldn't happen for at least a few months at least. Sage was the best host due to the reasons you've mentioned and as Rauru proves his body handles foreign magic the best, so rather than rejecting and keeping dink more separate he just kinda??? like with an organ transplant if you can see what I'm getting at. Also sage with fangs 👀 I'm politely looking.

NOW ONTO MY FAVOURITE PART OF YOUR ASK!! If they share memories??? Sage gets Dink's memories of reader playing the games. he'll learn the other's secrets. BUT HE'LL ALSO KNOW WHAT READER WAS SAYING AS HIS GAME WAS PLAYED!! SO HE'LL LEARN IF READER WAS SIMPING FOR HIM, OR HOW THEY APOLOGISED EVERY TIME HE TOOK DAMAGE OR ABOUT THE FROSTBITE SET. AND THAT'S ONLY BASIC STUFF IF SAGE HEARD EVERYTHING THEN READER HAS TO DEAL WITH THAT. with dink hating reader at first and slowly becoming more obsessed, gradually falling for them more with each game they played finally becoming love when he gets to know what it's like to be link in BotW and TotK because reader is so gentle??? and his eyes track the camera and originally reader writes it off until they learn that isn't normal and is more like a creepypasta or a broken savefile (sidenote @imprisioned-in-the-hole and I have talked about the links being self aware! mostly sky due to the fact that his eyes track the camera somewhat in sksw!!) And if that was the reason that he stole the reader??? because they were so so close to the chain, that they knew everything?? and now they're there and they can hold them, the real question is was the chain aware of that when they met reader in Hyrule for the first time, I know you said they weren't but if they WERE?? chaos.
