I'm generally enjoying the wealth of companion storyline and connection in this game but I really wish there were more to do with lucanis? I keep taking him on general crow/treviso missions and outside of the ones where he's a mandatory companion, he's got almost no commentary or banter. and I can't tell if his combat commentary has changed after being romanced??

#I'm holding off judgment til I finish the game because I hear there's some late-game stuff but I can tell I'm getting close to the endgame #and there's been maybe one or two overheard conversations at the lighthouse and one throwaway line from the crossroads tree #and that's it for any reference to the fact that my rook is romancing him #and that's with 40+ hours of gameplay and supposedly! building relationships with all of my companions!#like I've been on a dozen outings with davrin about the griffons in addition to all the main quests #AND he has unique banter about the warden missions I bring him on #but lucanis' combat dialogue hasn't noticeably changed to reflect a relationship?#his big post-personal mission friendship/romance scene is him just... standing next to you??#he had such a strong start like What Happened #datv spoilers #datv lb #veilguard spoilers #also I'm So tired of running around just to have conversations. I miss dialogue trees. let me talk to people without performing 323649 task
