So I was listening to Queen at about midnight as one does, and it turned to I'm Going Slightly Mad. Then it kinda came to me. In an interview, Freddie famously said that he was a gay as a daffodil, right? In igsm Freddie says "a thousand and one yellow daffodils [...] Are they trying to tell you something?". LIKE DANG FREDDIE we already knew 😭

Taller guy in beige coat, detective vibes grabbing the shorter man's leg and neck to spin him against the wall, tables have turned: 老实点小少爷 [Be honest, young master.]

Taller guy, moving his hand from the neck to cup the shorter man's cheek: 我可没那么耐心 [I'm not that patient.]

Shorter man looks startled by the action, then lets go of the tie, looking downwards with a sombre expression as he's chastised.

Like, let's first appreciate the outfits because yes.

And also it's the the "少管我，听懂没？" — which can be translated to "Don't bother me" or "Don't care/mind for me" and that's very Kaito- defensiveness of refusing to rely on anyone when he secretly fears putting them in trouble and aggressively reacting to Saguru's persistence

VS Saguru just dismantling that "老实点小少爷，我可没那么耐心" and his solemn (but also a little spicy snide bite) demand for honesty, that he's aware and seen through Kaito, merely just waiting for the truth to be revealed.

Could see this play out as canon but it also feels like Saguru as a more experienced detective or even a heir to a mob/business empire vibes of he runs the world and he knows how ugly it is.

The problem with having friends and family all over the place is that whenever something bad happens, you know someone it's impacted.

One of my best friends, since we were toddlers, lives in Asheville. She and her wife, who's been my friend since high school, are fine. Even their house is recoverable, though very damp.
