26. How does your Dark Urge feel about Bhaal?
right back at you >:)
21. What are 2-3 songs that your Dark Urge would relate to?
Answered! But let’s do some happier ones lol.
To My Heart - Mother Mother
Be My End - Creeper
Someway, Somehow - Dreamers
24. Does your Dark Urge have a treasured item with them? If yes, what is it and why is it special? If no, how do they feel about item sentimentality in general?
She doesn’t, no. Joi woke up alone on the Nautiloid. She was still pretty much nothing when she crashed on the beach. She isn’t sentimental about items so much as she is about people. She’s a romantic at heart, occasionally too emotional. It’s that chaotic Bhaal energy, lashing out, feeling too much. However, there are a few items throughout her life that she holds onto.
After the adventure ends, she keeps Orin’s knife and shortsword. She also keeps her wedding ring long after Shadow has passed. She treasures people and doesn’t put a lot of stock in material possessions (Shadow dresses her before, Raphael dresses her after). She’s terrible with money (horrible murder goblin did not manage funds), so Astarion was in charge of that.
26. How does your Dark Urge feel about Bhaal?
Daddy. <3
In the past, god, all she wanted to do was make Bhaal happy. She’s very much like Orin in that regard. Ritual sacrifices, murder sprees through the city, happily helping spread cult propaganda and the scheme for the Absolute. If Bhaal asked her to jump, she’d say how high. After the events of the game, it’s more complex. She resents the damage that he did to her and to Orin. She resents the lack of control and the horrible things she did. But there’s a twisted love there too, and it makes her nauseous/sick. He’s still her Father. She’s unable to separate him from that role. After some fanfiction events, it twists to a much more negative outlook.

Saiouma Puella Magi AU, but Kokichi takes Madoka's role and Shuichi takes Homura's.
For one, Kokichi's too naturally distrustful to just hear "I can grant you any wish :)" and not think ok where's the hook. So he just does what no one ever has & essentially interrogates Kyubey, so he knows it all even before he gets to make a contract. So, some of his classmstes are MGs & he won't become one himself BUT he still ends up tagging along to just protect them in his Kokichi ways. (Though I'm entertaining Kokichi lying about being a magical girl, because, well, it's Kokichi).
(I also got a small idea of Gonta being a magical girls and Kokichi originally tagging along him into labyrinths, Gonta also makes him a magic gun from the toy one he had, and at some point witches out & Kokichi manages to kill him with that gun. So he always has that spare Grief Seed on himself, bc it's still his best friend & he can't handle the idea of just giving it away or using it himself (he does anyway in the end).)
Shuichi prolly ends up being a new kid & it isn't like MadoHomu, the ppl who reach him first are Kaede & Kaito, classic. Kokichi's there, too, but he's his usual sus self. He's actually discouraging ppl from making a contract when they find out magic and miracles are real, which absolutely includes Shuichi. He's very vocal abt it, but he won't explain stutf, bc 1) he's a liar, so who'd believe him? and 2) he doesn't want them to witch out upon finding out the truth or, idk, murder everybody Mami-style.
Anyway, fast forward, bad things happen bingo & by the end of the run most charas are dead, there's Walpurgis nachting, and he makes his wish to bring back the ppl who died notably not as magical girls. Contract signed, he fights & fails, rip. I also thought it was similar to how he thought he could end the killing game by himself - he though he could finish Walpurgisnacht by himself, too. And he failed in both times. Whatevs.
Shuichi doesn't actually make his time travel wish for Ouma specifically, he wants to save all his friends. Timelines are messy esp at first bc he either tells then or it backfires or just makes himself look very sus bc he's trying not to tell them. He also realizes why Kokichi hadn't told anybody aby witches at some point, bc, yeah, it messes them a lot, assuming they believe it.
Still, Kokichi ends up one of the few people who are nearly always giving him a chance, not necessarily out of belief, but out of pragmatism - bro can stop time & knows the truth, that's just too useful. So they often work together & Shuichi grows closer to him but still we ain't there yet. But the thing is, Shuichi's time travel still makes Kokichi more & more powerful with each timeline, bc Shuichi usually goes back after Kokichi dies, so the universe figured out this guy's life's important. Anyway, another notable thing is the iconic Homura kills Madoka scene, but it's Saiouma with guest stars of Kaito & Maki. It's Walpy, it's not defeated yet, but the training trio are spent & just kinda accept their fate of turning into witches together. And then, boom, Kokichi appears & steals their Soul Gems for a sec & he's like did u know you can cleanse your Soul Gem with a darkened one? But it's a lie & he quickly tells them so, he just had a spare Grief Seed after cleansing his Soul Gem & he needs them to do some stuff. Shuichi can travel back in time & fix things, and Maki & Kaito are needed to fight Walpy here. He actually questions what happens to the timelines Shuichi leaves behin, and ofc he doesn't know. There's a chance they remain, so Kokichi needs Maki & Kaito to fight Walpy here.
Kaimaki leave, and Shuichi finally looks at Kokichi & realizes sth is Wrong. Kokichi struggles to hide how he's trembling & grimacing, and it's Kokichi, so obviously it must be extremely bad. Shuichi dreadfully realizes something worse, and he weakly asks Kokichi why aren't his wounds healing. And Kokichi just falls, laughing weakly, and Shuichi catches him & searches for his Soul Gem and, God, he knew it. It's nearly completely black. Kokichi laughs & admits he lied abt having two Grief Seeds, he only had one he never wanted to use. But they'll have the second one soon, so no need to worry. He asks Shuichi to maybe destroy his witch form as it's hatching, so he'll have the Grief Seed without any fighting… and he admits that he hates fighting, he hates this magical world and all its violence. He says that Kaito was right in calling him a coward, even here he just can't handle the idea of fighting any longer, he's so sorry. And Shuichi tells him he ISN'T a coward. He was scared, but he always followed everybody, trying to help, and when push came to shove he would always make a contract for the benefit of others rather than himself. He's a lot of things, but a coward isn't one. Kokichi actually tears up hearing that, and Shuichi promises he won't let him fight ever again, and especially he won't let him turn into a witch and hurt anybody, because he knows it's the last thing he's ever wanted. Even now he only accepts turning into a witch to help them fight to keep others safe. So Shuichi won't let him. Kokichi probably apologizes and thanks him and then he dies.
Keeping Kokichi from fighting starts off as a side quest that gains importance with time, bc it's something Shuichi won't compromise on (ah, trauma), which leads him to occassionally neglect others a bit, which makes them more likely to get hurt & ironically Kokichi more likely to make a contract, especially since he gets more powerful & Kyubey is more interested in him with each timeline. And that also makes him witch out super quick. Shuichi's paying more attention to him & over time grows resentful of others for how they're treating him. To Shuichi it's no question that Kokichi cares & is just doing his best to help, but nobody realizes that.
But the biggest obstacle in keeping Kokichi from fighting is actually Kokichi himself, bc he's too smart and nosy, lmao. Even if he knows nothing, he will find out quickly. Doesn't help that Kyubey wants him to make a contract.
Also, obviously Kaito is Sayaka-coded and Maki could be Kyouko-coded, so that's a thing, BUT it's usually Maki that witches out. Kaito is usually pretty close, but Kokichi intervenes & he survives, but Maki later cracks on her own (and since in the new timeline Kokichi isn't there, Kaito's the one to die, so he's still the secretary). So it's Kaito who gets the dramatic sacrifice. I imagine he genuinely hoped you could bring somebody back if you tried Very Hard & Kokichi called him a moron bc obviously it's not possible. If it was there'd be far less witches that there are. But it's Kaito, he doesn't listen to reason. So, Kokichi follows him to the labyrinth. At first Kaito's mad cuz what if Kokichi being there ruins the plan? Maki hates his guts! But eventually he gets hit pretty hard, and Kokichi is near immediately by his side, trying to help him get up, which kinda makes Kaito short circuit a little bc wait Kokichi's trying to help? But witch!Maki attacks them & Kokichi pushes Kaito away & gets caught himself (and choked until unconsciousness, naturally). Anyway, Kaito gets him away, Shuichi catches Kokichi & Kaito makes up his mind about going down with Maki & asks Shuichi to tell Kokichi that he's sorry. He doesn't get him, but he got hurt trying to protect him, so he'll believe in that if nothing else. F.
As for The WishTM, in the last timeline Shuichi lashes out at Kokichi for his willingness to just become part of the system. In no timeline has his wish actually helped, it did NOTHINHG, which OUCH but it also makes Kokichi think out of the box more & he becomes the Law of Cycles. And Shuichi realizes what is happening & freaks out bc Kokichi's doing it bc of what he told him & like Homura they end up having a momentTM in space & Shuichi remembers. He feels a lot of guilt even tho he also questions whether anything was real, but if it was, he pushed somebody he far too realized he loved into erasing himself from existence.
#hope it's not too long but i'll make it a read more if somebody thinks it is#i spammed discord i spammed bsky it's only fair i post it on tumblr too#kokichi ouma#shuichi saihara#saiouma#danganronpa#like obviously normally you'd go for something like Kokichi as Homura and Shuichi as Madoka and I'm just not that sure of it myself#like the vibes match at the first glance but the more I think about it the less it actually works for the characters in question#one of Kokichi's most defining chracteristics is that he cares a lot about everybody and frankly more than probably any other V3 character#but in a very... general sense if you get me. characters like Kaito and even Shuichi pick some people they like to care for and everybody#else is like whatever - sucked but now it's done like after Korekiyo's execution he says nothing abt him while both Makoto & Hajime offer#Celeste and Mikan some more thoughts and compassion; anyway obviously Kokichi doesn't care about say Kaede more than Shuichi but he still#gives all their lives the same amount of respect just for the sake of it; that's what makes chapter 4 so horrifying from his perspective#and also why in chapter 5 he isn't willing to do the same anymore and instead chooses to die himself so Maki of all people can survive and#so Kaito can go in a blaze of glory. and these two are arguably the two characters who treated him the worst (not that anybody treated him#well save for maybe Gonta and Kiibou). so i can't imagine Kokichi in Homura's role - reaching the point where he cares about only one perso#surviving while everybody else can die in a ditch bc the one time he picked his life over anybody else's he had a wholeass breakdown & then#killed himself several days later even though logically it would've made more sense to either kill Kaito who's dying anyway or throw Maki#under the bus since she was the one to fuck things up in the first place and proved herself to be a danger to the group.#Shuichi meanwhile he absolutely could given his lack of regard for some of the dead (Rantaro Ryouma idk abt Angie but I remember little#Korekiyo Miu and finally Kokichi himself) so he could snap at some point#anyway time to shut up it's getting long in these tags

By Any Other Name - Chapter Two
Fandom: Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous
Rating: M to be safe
Warnings: None
Relationship: Commander/Daeran/Woljif (F/M/M)
Prologue and Chapter One
It did not take Ariadne very long to find herself falling in love with Woljif and Daeran.
When her parents had announced their move to the countryside, she'd been distraught. It was hard to accept that the promising future she'd once had was now an impossibility, for a number of reasons. But as the weeks drew on, the midsummer air becoming thick with heat, Ariadne found it easier to ignore the ever-aching wound of shame and disappointment. It was never gone, not completely, but it became lesser, more manageable.
That was why, when Woljif asked “why’d your folks move you all out here anyway?”, her newfound happiness with her current lot in life wasn’t shattered. Though it did certainly sour for a moment.
He asked this early in the evening, around a month after they met. The three of them were tucked away in a small clearing on the corner of the Trias’ property. They’d found a small pond surrounded by wild lavender, hidden from view of the dirt road by two large oak trees. It had quickly become their spot, one they met at almost every day for the past several weeks.
Perhaps it should have surprised her, that both boys managed to make it every day to see someone they barely knew. But it felt so natural, the three of them spending their time together, and she got used to their presence in very little time at all.
“They…thought a fresh start somewhere new might do me good,” she said, fidgeting with the knife in her hands. On her way out the door she'd grabbed it, along with a pitcher of lemonade and the basket she kept the blanket they usually sat on. The pie was strawberry, bright red filling peeking out from a lattice crust enticing her to take a bite. Her favorite - Elvandir had no doubt made it specifically for her. She hoped that meant he wouldn’t mind too much that she’d eaten it without him. This was why she was hesitating to elaborate, she decided, not because she was nervous for them to find out the truth.
“Hm, yes, a fresh start in a podunk town in the middle of nowhere,” Daeran said airily, leaning back against the trunk of the tree behind him. His shirt was open, the bronze skin of his chest exposed. The ragged edges of two scars, each on one side of his chest, peeked out from the fabric, the tissue a faint gold. Between his relaxed posture and unbothered expression, it was clear he was trying to convey the image of someone unaffected by the heat. The way his long, golden blonde hair stuck to his neck fractured the illusion just a touch. “That sounds like a perfectly logical place to upend your brilliant daughter’s life for. Opportunities abound in such a place, after all!”
“Did you just say podunk?” Ariadne said, a small smile playing on her face. It grew as the rest of his statement hit her. “Wait, ‘brilliant’?”
“He’s got a point,” Woljif said before Daeran could answer. Not that it looked like he was going to - he shot her that insouciant grin of his then closed his eyes, seemingly for all the world like he couldn't care less about the conversation. For his part, Woljif’s attention was on the pile of small rocks beside him. He picked each up, holding them up to the waning daylight. When none magically appeared to be of real value, he’d send them flying across the pond, each leaving a set of ripples as they skipped across the water. “You’re way too smart to be holed up in a place like this.”
Ariadne frowned at the statement. Not exactly in displeasure, but contemplation. It was a compliment, she knew, but it nagged at her. Deciding it was past time they learned the truth, or at least part of it, she said, “I was enrolled in an academy back in the city, and I wanted to go to university. But…” Confidence abandoned her, traitorous emotions bubbling up as hot tears pricked in the corner of her eyes instead. “But that’s not going to happen now.”
If she’d been in the company of anyone else, she’d hope that’d be the end of the conversation. But neither Daeran nor Woljif were the type to let something go, especially not when their curiosity had been piqued. The tears she was struggling not to shed probably did not help matters either.
“Why isn't it going to happen?” Daeran managed to keep his voice breezy, like he was asking a meaningless question to which he expected to receive a mundane answer. The sharpness of his gaze betrayed him, however, his green eyes boring into her so fiercely she had to fight the urge to look away. “It's hard to believe you didn't have the marks in school. Though, you are a bit mouthy. Is that why? Did you turn that wickedly clever tongue of yours on someone you shouldn't?”
Many retorts flashed through her mind, like “you're one to talk” and “wouldn't you like to know?”, the temptation to speak them so great that it took her a moment to realize her melancholy had fled.
“No,” she said, proud of the evenness on her voice, turning her attention back to the very important task of cutting and distributing pie. As she handed the first plate to Woljif, she took a deep breath and said, “I got hurt and missed the entrance exam for the school I was hoping to attend. They were willing to let me in a year early; I think my father must have pulled some strings, or greased some palms to make that happen. But I had to pass, and they’re a bit notorious for not giving second chances.”
She had to cut off the last part she wanted to say - to commoners. The whole reason she even knew about her father’s role in landing her a chance was because of sneaking a glance in the family ledger. Her parents had run an alchemical storefront back in the city. It had never been the most prosperous, but they made enough to get by. Once Elvandir had started picking up gigs with his old mercenary company, something he had sworn he was done with, Ariadne had realized something was off. And well…it had been the only way to know without outright asking. Her mother was a diligent bookkeeper, and she'd taught her well.
Woljif scoffed, his jaw tightening. “Isn’t that just the way of it,” he murmured, stabbing his fork into the crust of his slice with rather more force than what was necessary, tail twitching behind him in agitation.
Daeran was frowning too, a scowl that evaporated as soon as she turned back to look at him and was replaced with the slight smirk that always seemed to adorn his face. By now Ariadne had figured out he wasn’t the type to let any true, deeper emotions show. If what she had said had any effect on him, she likely wouldn’t know for a good, long while.
“Well, that’s just their loss then, isn’t it? I have heard prestigious universities are staffed almost exclusively by people who’s high opinions of themselves blinded them to the obvious merit of others, so I wouldn’t be too concerned if I were you. Besides, a silver lining exists in your rejection.” At this he paused, grin widening at her raised brow. Laying a hand on his chest, he said, “If you had been accepted, you would not have had the pleasure of meeting me. And that, my dear Ariadne, is a true tragedy, is it not?”
“You certainly have a high opinion of yourself,” she said, cheer seeping into her voice as the sound of Woljif laughing around a bite came from behind her. The hot, uncomfortable sensation that had pervaded her senses at the admission was fading, leaving only the dwindling heat of the summer evening in its place. She didn’t want to linger on these thoughts any longer than necessary, so she decided a change of subject was in order.
Nodding to the pond, she said, “Do you think there’s any leeches in there?”
Woljif was now engrossed in his treat, but Daeran’s eyes brightened, already pulling off his shirt and no doubt reveling in how scandalous he was being. “Only one way to find out, isn’t there?”
****
There were leeches in that pond, in fact. Ariadne and Woljif had to rush Daeran back to her house, wherein he’d had to sit under her parents’ watchful gazes as she pried the damned things off him and rubbed some sort of concoction into his skin to ward off infection.
Her mother looked like she would burst out laughing at any moment, the amusement only growing at his continued discomfort. Her elven father looked amused too, though he seemed more interested in Woljif, who still had evidence of the pie Ariadne had stolen in the corners of his mouth. It was Ariadne’s other father, the tiefling, that concerned him the most. He hovered near her as she worked, eyes flicking between her and Daeran. The expression on his face as he watched Ariadne was proud, approving…exactly the type of thing he’d expect from a father who loved his daughter enough to try to bribe her way into a prestigious academy for gifted alchemists. Daeran also suspected that was why it turned into a glare every time he glanced back at him.
Night had fallen by the time the leeches were disposed of and his wounds dressed. He'd been bracing himself to be tossed out when Yessenia intervened.
“Marius, it’s late, and we’re rather far outside of town,” she said, laying a placating hand on her husband’s arm. Quietly, she added, “Remember what happened just a few nights ago?”
Just like that, the air in the room turned heavy, somber. A body had been discovered outside town, in one of the circles of stones that dotted the nearby landscape. There’d always been rumors about Heaven’s Edge and the surrounding areas - fey, demons, and the like. Talk of cults and witches were common too, as were ghosts, likely exacerbated by many of the visible ruins nearby. Everyone usually dismissed it as just rumors, the fanciful imaginations of weary travelers and those who need to inject some more excitement into their day. This was the first time proof of such activities had been found, and in such a gruesome and undeniable way.
It had put the entire town on edge. His mother had been working longer hours since the discovery, setting up more frequent guard rotations and even sending word to Nerosyan in a bid to acquire more resources. Idly, Daeran wondered if the Trias family regretted their decision to move out here. They’d probably expected for the daughter to recover from her mysterious illness in the idyllic countryside, and now they’re finding out that not only was it boring out here, it was also potentially filled with murderers.
Whatever they thought, the plea got through to Marius. He relaxed, nodding slightly. Daeran and Woljif were set up with makeshift beds on the sofas in the living room, neither of them willing to protest the wisdom of staying the night. If anything, Woljif looked almost relieved, hopping onto the couch designated to be his bed with what one might call cheer. He was out within moments of them being bid goodnight by Ariadne.
With a sigh of disappointment, Daeran flopped onto his back. He’d been hoping to talk to Woljif, to tease him until that charming blush rose to his cheeks and his voice cracked from the pressure of maintaining his composure. Along with bantering with Ariadne, that had become Daeran’s favorite pastime. As it was, he was forced to stare at Woljif’s sleeping face, admiring the way his curls fell into his eyes, the moonlight streaming in through the window casting him in a pleasant glow.
It crossed his mind to sneak upstairs and bother Ariadne, but considering he’d only heard one door close when the household had gone upstairs, he was willing to bet the door to her parents’ room was wide open. Marius Trias likely wouldn’t get a wink of sleep tonight with them in the house, and Daeran was not in the mood to cross a competent alchemist in his own home.
He let his mind wander instead, reflecting on how fun the past few weeks had been. The memories made his lips curve into a smile. His summer - no, his life - before them had been a boring stretch of obligations that he felt no real connection to. He had always oscillated between frustration over the expectations foisted on him by the role he was born into, and feeling perfectly wretched for not appreciating the luxuries and privileges it provided. His mother worked so hard to turn this backwater into a bustling and thriving town. While it was on its way to getting there, her reward for such endeavors was a son who couldn’t care less despite the fact he knew he should.
These thoughts left a sour taste in his mouth, and he found himself turning over, staring at the ceiling instead. Somewhere in the monotonous stream of wishing it were morning already, he fell into a fitful sleep.
He wasn’t sure how much time had passed when he was woken by harsh whispers, but judging by the grey light illuminating the rafters above his head, it was early in the morning. Something about the whispers made his heart race for a moment, then he remembered where he was. He settled into a habit he always found very amusing - eavesdropping.
“Marius, dear, go back to bed. Elvandir and I can handle the chores this morning.” Yessenia sounded so much like Ariadne, down to the slight lilt in her voice, that it took a moment for the difference to register.
“I’m fine.” Marius’ reply was gruff, the lack of sleep evident without even looking at him. So Daeran had been right about him keeping a diligent eye on his daughter’s room all night. He probably shouldn't have been anywhere near as pleased with being right as he was.
“No, you most certainly are not! You worry far too much, my love. Staying up all night and for what? Because you were afraid our nearly adult daughter might sneak out of her room and have a bit of fun?” Even though he couldn’t see their faces, Daeran could perfectly picture the smirk on Yessenia’s face, as well as the scoff Marius released. It made his own smirk tug on the corners of his lips.
“I know that! I…know that, I swear I do.” The indignation in his voice died as he trailed off, his next words soft and hard to hear from Daeran's vantage point, “I know she's almost an adult and can make her own decisions. It's just…after all that's happened, it's hard not to worry about her.”
Now that was interesting. He imagined it would be hard not to worry about Ariadne, given what she’d told them about her family’s move here and her own nature. True, she had more sense than he and Woljif did, but that hardly meant anything. Being the collective voice of reason in a trio of pranksters was not exactly a recommendation of character. That was what he liked about her, among many other things.
There was the rustle of fabric and the soft sound of a kiss being placed on a cheek. “It is hard, you're right. But she's still a big girl, and we have to let her make her own choices. Besides, I doubt she’ll disappear on us again.”
Wait, what? Ariadne had mentioned getting hurt, but she hadn't said how that came to be. Possibilities upon possibilities raced through Daeran's mind. Did she run away and get injured? That didn't seem likely, but Daeran did have to admit that they hadn't known each other that long. Maybe Ariadne didn't handle pressure well. Somehow, though, he doubted it, and that left the much less pleasant alternative.
Before he could contemplate any further, the sounds of someone bounding down the stairs startled everyone, including Woljif, who jerked awake, his curls charmingly disheveled. Daeran took a more languid approach, slowly rising and stretching like he'd just had a good night's sleep in his own feather down bed and not a rickety couch.
Ariadne looked apologetic where she stood, already dressed for the day. "Sorry, did I wake you? I have to milk the goat, but you two should go back to sleep."
"Oh no, that's not possible," he responded, shaking his head slightly. Tossing the blanket aside, he stood as nonchalantly as he could. The conversation he'd just overheard between her parents was still rattling around in his mind, but he had a more pressing concern as he walked over to stand in front of her. Somberly, he said, "I insist I be present for the milking of this goat. A tutor of mine once told me my attitude alone could make milk curdle, and I want to seize the opportunity to test this theory."
The musical sound of Ariadne's laugh, accompanied by Woljif's sleepy chuckles as he rose himself, were enough to drive the dark thoughts that had taken root away in his mind. There would be time later to try to pry the secret of what had happened to her out of Ariadne - for now, he'd almost forgotten about it as they hurried out into the misty morning.
Almost.

Do you have any bsd headcannons you'd like to share? (literally anything, I just love learning about other peoples hcs)
OMG YES YES A THOUSAND TIMES YES SORRY FOR RESPONDING SO LATE IVE BEEN USING THIS IN MY DRAFTS AS A COLLECTION OF JUST ABOUT ANYTHING THAT GOES THRU MY MIND AND I'VE JUST DECIDED I'M GONNA POST IT ALR
chuuya's hat is so old (bc it keeps getting passed from person to person and he brings it with him everywhere obviously) and WORN OUT but he has no idea how to fix it. he treats it like his child but it's inevitable that the material will deteriorate over time, so he's been trying to convince himself to go to a hatter for ages and can't swallow his pride. he drunkenly told it to hirotsu once night while they were drinking, and hirotsu just sighed and got it fixed for him that night while chuuya was passed out. they never spoke about it.
dazai has met several women who actually did say yes to a double suicide. the majority didn't mean it and just wanted to toy with him, but ran when they realized he was serious. a few actually did mean it. he pulled strings and invited them to a romantic date, except that he sent therapists there instead of him, basically playing matchmaker. all those women are now doing better but ask him about it and he'll act dumb and say he knows nothing about it.
fyodor needs glasses. his eyesight definitely sucks and the hours he spends at a computer don't help. however, he manipulates himself into thinking that he's actually fine when he's not. nikolai also has shitty eyesight bc of his dull eye and the other one he's probably abused looking at the birds in the sky and thus the sun. they are literally the blind leading the blind. nikolai places his portal 2 meters from where he meant to put it and fyodor says "good job". it's incredible how they're feared terrorists.
sigma gets tired wearing heels all day. he wants memory foam but doesn't know it exists. give him his goddamn memory foam. anyways one of his employees saw him holding his feet in pain and offered him orthopedic shoe inserts. he hasn't been the same since. would give them a raise if he knew how.
tachihara used to get acne from having his bandage on his nose all day. so, he's developed an incredibly rigid skin care routine. his face is soft as hell. cheeks are smoother than you'd think.
kouyou made it her first demand as executive to raid her favourite shop where she gets all her kiminos and accessories. hirotsu led the black lizard battalion into the shop and the workers were so fucking confused. stole expensive silk fabrics and clothing of the highest quality because she doesn't settle for less, and in the process has gotten hirotsu more into fashion. they go shopping together.
speaking of shopping, kajii only goes thrifting. have you seen his clothes?? they're not his size and torn as hell but they're so damn cheap he can't resist. his sandals are so goddamn iconic. yeah he's blowing you up but his dogs are OUT like a mf psychopath. i maybe love him a little too much.
ivan has greasy hair. while doing his surgery thing wtv tf that was, fyodor was continually grossed out (ironic aint it). pushkin was then ordered to help ivan wash his hair and they died just a little bit. neither knew what the difference between shampoo and conditioner is, and they struggled with it for a long time. eventually when they came back for fyodor to do the surgery, ivan's hair smelled like flowers and was braided cutely because they gave up and went to a salon where the people working there fell a little in love with his hair and went overboard. pushkin's hair (if you can call it that...) was also in a little bowtie. they enjoyed their little adventure just a little bit. just a little ofc.
odasaku has no idea how to cook curry. he loves it and fears doing it wrong, so he just buys it from the same place over and over. considered asking for the recipe but never did because why change what is already perfection. dazai however is convinced oda has housewife abilities and can cook like a god. he never knew the truth.
fitzgerald can't do math. he pretends he's good at converting currencies but in his head it just doesn't add up. 20 000 yen? that's like.... 5 freedom eagles obviously. no biggie *throws a bunch of american dollars at the workers and just takes the item and leaves* he also doesn't give tips when it prompts on the machine, and instead prefers sliding a crisp bill to them directly. cried a little when his favourite shop told him they ran out of an item he wanted and they didn't budge after he slid them a stack of 100s (he has no idea how many were in the stack)
fitzgerald also owns an airline but he doesn't manage it personally ofc. his only interaction with it is that they provide him and the guild with a private jet to travel to japan. lovecraft did not get on. he swam??? who knows, but he did not get on that plane. lucy got sick and louisa freaked out every time there was turbulence. mark was snoring loudly the entire way and steinbeck had his nose pressed on the window looking outside the entire time the lil cutie.
agatha has the super power of drinking tea while it is still piping hot. she never burns her tongue and never complained about its temperature, except when it's too cold. the water was literally boiling once (her subordinates wanted to find out how hot she can go) and she gulped it all down without a single contortion of her face. incredible.
shirase doesn't understand english and keeps trying to learn it but every time he thinks he's getting the hang of it, someone throws cockney slang at him and he gives up.
adam finally figured out how to blow a bubble of gum, but keeps swallowing it. one day, it clogged his internal system (he's not supposed to be eating obvi) and he's been afraid of it ever since. thinks it's possessed by evil spirits his android brain can't understand. i also hc that he recharges thru solar panels integrated onto his skin and for this reason he goes to the beach to 'tan' often. HE'S SO PALE people get a little concerned for him when they see him not apply sunscreen and just lay down for hours at a time. one lady actually told him he could get skin cancer and he opened his eyes "ackshually 🤓👆" then began reciting every fact known to man about skin cancer. rip that lady
verlaine and rimbaud complain about france all the time. "fuck france i fucking hate the french this country goddamn sucks" then as soon as someone else says anything bad about it they give them death glares and threaten death for disrespecting their country.
wells has memorized a whole lot of things about quantum theory from her days studying to be an engineer because it was her favourite class. she cannot handle mechanical or civil engineering topics and physically ascends at the mention of anything to do with dynamics. i also think she's been hit on a lot while wearing disguises; she tells them she's actually a woman, they freak out, then she sends them back in time. this time, they do not approach her and thus she doesn't have to deal with the awkward rejection and doesn't even remember it.
jules verne has made little dolls and pretended that they were his friends and invented scenarios in which they hung out. i will not elaborate on this.
albatross sometimes interrupts conversations in order to listen to the engine of a vehicle passing by. tries to track them down, too. he'll be the type of guy to ogle at your car without making eye contact with you while you're still in the car. and when i say ogle, i mean ogle. checks out motorcycles more often than women.
the flags bully lippmann sometimes when he acts in a really cheesy scene. he's coming to hang out with them and they're all giggling and chuckling at him stupidly. albatross walks up to him, tucks his hair behind his ear and whispers whatever cheesy thing was said in a low voice before bursting out laughing (he usually starts laughing before he can even finish the sentence). pianoman slides it slickly into conversations, and doc 'fufu's at random moments when looking at him and he suddenly remembers the scene. iceman has not watched the movie and chuuya couldn't care less.
the first time he tried to take the train, ranpo loudly exclaimed and yelled at every turn and stop of the train. he went during rush hour too and got his entire body smooshed into the strangers next to him. he squealed when someone accidentally (accidentally) grabbed his ass in the crowded traincar, then asked loudly who did that. dramatic as hell. got his pockets picked and knew who did it, but couldn't do anything about it. he felt awful and slumped his way back home and collapsed into yosano's arms with a groan. this was the only time she'd ever willingly bought him a bunch of sweets and let him eat them in peace while he ranted to her about the atrocities
kenji is more notorious on the streets than he knows. he got recognized by some huge 200cm tall man built like a goddamn tank with tattoos all over his body who wanted to fight him. kenji was so flattered that he knew his name that he thanked him and burly dude was like. wtf. anyways they got beef ramen together afterwards bonded over cows and are now besties. he's told the agency about it but they think that by "friend" he means someone else his age.
tanizaki ran into kajii once at his favourite thrift shop. he recognized him and ran out freaked never to return. for this reason he had to keep wearing his same stanky ahh uwu girl clothes that don't fit and hasn't had a style update. actually, when doing his research for how to infiltrate the mafia, tachihara found out that there have been a lot of sightings of known dangerous ability users in the thrift store, and that's why he wears the same shirt as tanizaki.
tachihara dreads the hunting dogs meetings because they make him feel like the only sane one there. his back has become so chiseled from carrying teruko around all the time, and once - jouno thought it would be funny - he tripped on a wire laying down on the ground and almost dropped her. he had to use his ability to pick her up from the belt of the uniform to prevent her from faceplanting, and she looked like she was about to explode. he had to let her beat him up a little then she hopped back on his shoulders and nothing changed. he questions his life choices often
jouno can't handle cinnamon or ginger scents, they overwhelm him and he goes into a fucking sensory overload coma. odor orgasm. sinus sex. teruko got sick once and tachi made her the strongest herbal and ginger tea you've ever seen (learnt it from his brother rip the goat) and he collapsed on the ground with a moan. woke up a half hour layer with no clue wth just happened. tecchou eventually heard about it, placed a hand on his shoulder and said "it happens to the best of us" while nodding solemnly then never elaborated.
yeah fukuchi and fukuzawa used to steal food when they were younger but imagine them figuring out milestones together. "dude my armpits are itchy where is this hair coming from :(" "genichiro i don't need to know about that *scratches at his armpit subtly*" i think they were very goofy about it
speaking of puberty elise once freaked mori out by saying she got her period. dude was like. wtf. you're an ability. how tf. she insisted he got her a bunch of tampons n pads and chocolate and heating pads and the works, then once he (the underlings he made go do the shopping threatening their lives if they ever told a soul) bought everything, she looked at his confused and asked why he bought those things. she's an ability how could she have a period? mori cried a little that night.
bram is a swiftie for no reason other than i think it's funny. alternatively, i believe he listens to reggae for no reason other than i think it's goddamn FUNNY.
kunikida's old students sometimes run into him on the street and recognize him. they immediately straighten their backs, nod at him and quickly walk away in the most respectful way because they don't want to ruin his schedule. he nearly tears up from happiness every time.
natsume goes through 5-6 "here, kitty kitty!"s in a day when he's just vibing around. people try to feed him grass blades. people get WAY too comfortable rubbing his stomach. once, a girl saw him on her way back from school and started scratching a random spot behind his ears and he folded so quickly and just melted on the sidewalk. he wont admit it but he has that weak spot in human form too (i want to pet him so badly this is self indulgent ok). the girl was actually gin btw. she's an animal whisperer i dont know why i dont know how but she is.

Despite scandalous rumors about a love affair with the Rogue Trader, Lady Navigator Cassia continued to accompany her lover among the stars of the Expanse for a time. Their love was like a candle flame, warm, tremulous, insatiable, and... quickly extinguished. When Cassia took the throne as Novator, love gave way to duty. Some praised their doomed love over glasses of amasec, while others cursed it and spat in disgust. Yet, even after entering an arranged dynastic marriage and passing on her precious genes, Cassia kept in contact with the only person she had ever fully loved until her dying day
My heart is broken. Apparently my romance was not sufficiently courtly and so I got this ending instead of the ending when Cassia and the Rogue Trader stay together
Ah well. I'll headcanon that they both marry other people, but their spouses know that they're still in love and don't mind that they're basically still together
And now I'm gonna go cry in the corner

i think sometimes we're too quick to rush to affirming as the fix for everything. there's a lot of value in just contemplating your beingness, the nature of reality, who you are, how you manifest, etc. self-reflection is invaluable, and gentle curiosity will lead you to truths band-aid affirming just never will.
*band-aid affirming: affirming to try to run away from yourself and reality vs. being yourself and reality. idk, i just made up that term now lmao. we'll see if it sticks.

I'm not very good at writing first sentences.
Here are some sketches (mostly Homestar Runner characters) from like, two years ago. I've got more, but I don't feel like sharing them right now.
