Thinking about his brother, who isn't his real family, so instead, he thinks of his real one. Dorcas, barty, Evan, Pandora, and Emma.

It was 6:30 pm on the 25th of July when Regulus Black took his final breath. On his 18th birthday.

Dorcas looks down at her stack of necklaces, four of which are mood trackers of all her friends, ex friends, but one of them was black.

2. Why I do or don't ship Texalapp.

I'm, nooottt really into Texas and Lappland's story? like, I followed it, did the events and stuff, but it's not something I thought about a whole ton, so as a result it's hard for me to understand Whatever They Have Going On. I have a few friends (and my best friend hello) who are deeply into it and the ship, so I got a few explanations, but it's more like. not my thing. not as a "I don't like it" way, but more as a "I'll leave it to people who enjoy it more than me". because I seriously have no opinion on the ship! they're funny to me ee hoo but that's like. all. I'm just not really invested in them to appreciate, but I do agree the dynamic is interesting and also funny but it's bc I've seen too much meme around them

10. If I liked Rosmontis immediately or if it took a while to warm up to her character.

Rosmontis is... something. it's hard to say I liked her immediately, because her first appearance was of course during the main scenario, and during this one, her background was really foggy and we barely knew much other than "child weapon who is very dangerous". so from this view, I was just curious to her character, but I didn't understand much of what was going on with her.

then came her files. and Lone Trail. and when I finally understood her character, instant love. I always loved characters like her, like, who just have This Vibe, I don't know how to explain. very powerful, dangerous, but who just needs a big hug and love. most of all, I absolutely loved the symbolism around her with the "Forget me not", reference to both the flower and the fact she loses her memories. characters with memory issues are SO precious to me

so yea! I can say it took me a while, but mostly because I was ignorant of her character outside of main story. now I sparked her for Lone Trail and I'm proud to say I have the precious cat daughter, el wiwi herself

(If you don't wanna post this feel free not to but I was kinda inspired but way to afraid to come off anon and respond to the original pokemon ask)

I totally agree with the concept that in a pokemon based our life au cove and mc would catch each other pokemon but here's my thought. Not sobble or wishi-washi but what about a young cove telling mc his favorite flower is the white poppies like in the original game. And young mc remembers and goes out of their way to catch him a white flower flabèbè. And little MC tells cove, "I know moving somewhere can be scary but now you have another friend for when I can't be with you." And cove treat the flabébé with like the up most care will very rarely have it actually battle but is always in his party (with exp. share ofc). He can never bring himself to evolve the pokemon even if mc reassures him that they wouldn't mind. (Imagine battling cove wiping out the rest of his team only to face off against a lol 100 flabébé. RIP ur team). And when one day cove asks you to marry he sends his flabébé to get bring you to him on poppy hill. Instead of proposing with the the flower himself he has his pokemon hold the ring. And he says something cheesy like, "You were my first friend and you gave me my second friend. You've always looked out for us and we both love you." But yeah come would move heaven and earth for that pokemon just because mc went through all that effort and we know he's the most sentimental man on earth.

Side note- I could totally see like a 13 year old Lizze ironically gifting cove a Sobble for his birthday. Like just a pokeball in a box with a note that says, "A cry baby lizard for my sister's cry baby boyfriend". But secretly she hopes they get along and that he likes it but Liz can never resist being a little mean.

Ohh this is a good one. Since I only played Sword for the first time starting in January, I'm still very much in my formative phase for headcanons and stuff. For most of the characters I can't even say I consciously headcanoned yet, even with all my thinking about everyone and saying "the whole of swsh is my blorbo" (admittedly with most of my focus on Victor and Hop because they're my number one favourites and OTP lol so there are definitely also ship headcanons in here, hope you don't mind! ^^"). I'll put it under a readmore since it kinda got a bit long ^^"

So here's my personal "fixed"/"core" headcanons for Victor when it comes to my own stuff:

he's transmasc and gay (this one was probably obvious since I've made on-text trans references in all but like, two fanfics haha)

he's the one who becomes Champion and is chosen by Zacian

Corviknight, Sylveon, Obstagoon and Toxtricity (evolved from the babby Toxel you get as a gift at the daycare) on the team

Fairy type association

He and Hop won the inaugural Galarian Star Tournament together and are the dream team everyone wants to battle but knows will be tough to beat (Hop calling them "Postwick dream team" is a canon thing, so!)

a short king

Now for personality and other random things? I'm open for so many things lol I did start out (even before I played) with the timid/soft-spoken/shy headcanon and I'm still so very fond of him being timid initially (and that's why Sobble as a starter + the Isle of Armor Kubfu are a perfect fit lol) — whether it's only when he's younger or still at the start of the game but growing confident once he gets his starter from Leon and finds he's pretty good at battling (the fact that he got it as a gift from Leon aka the Champion he admires + big bro of his best friend when Leon met him for the first time combined with Leon just being such a sweet and encouraging dude probably helped with that)

But yeah I'm open for many other headcanons/portrayals in that regard lol cool and confident? bless all the fanart. Easily flustered? sweet. On the oblivious side? heck yes. Sunshine boy? Absolutely, he is a whole sunshine boy 10000000000000%! Just give me all the positive Victor content and I'll probably soak it up happily and cry and have it fuel me lmao thank you for my life.

As for his starter, god I simply cannot decide. I picked Grookey in my game (I really wanted Sobble but joked I was obligated to pick Scorbunny because I like football and then GMax Rillaboom came and said "hi" lol) but as mentioned above I'm so fond of Victor with Sobble. But Scorbunny is also a perfect fit so I've just been rotating around for a bit between my fics (though I think I've yet to actually write him with Scorbunny???). Maybe one of these days I can make up my mind for both him and Hop which starter they choose ^^" in any case: I also live for the whole "they gift each other eggs of their starters and some of their 'mons are partners" thing so there's that (in fact it might've been easy to guess that in my world of things their Corviknight are a partners for sure)

Speaking of Hop, it's my headcanon that Victor has a crush on him pretty much since they're kids/since they first met, and is very much aware of it being a crush that just never leaves and his feelings grow stronger as they grow up. Meanwhile Hop also has a crush all along but is a bit oblivious about how to interpret his own feelings until along on the main story (Leon, meanwhile, guesses pretty easily that his little bro has a giant crush on that friend he keeps talking about all the time and lightly teases him for it, cue denial lol). So much potential for both fluff and a dash of angst... mmmm. By the post-credits story lines Hop definitely had that "Oh." moment and then is even more loud about his crush.

Based on me associating Victor with the fairy type, I have the silly little headcanon that at first he just thinks Bede is kinda funny, then it gets personal when Bede very largely contributes to Hop's mid-story crisis, and then Opal rejects him as a successor candidate only to later scout/adopt Bede in front of him. Cue him solo-ing battles against him with just his Corviknight (ok I admit this last part is also based on how it goes in my game lmao Bede is far too easy to beat... both as an opponent and if I team up with him)

Recently I've really been into the idea that Victor is asked to take over the Flying type Gym a couple of years after becoming Champion and then he's both Champion and also becomes strongest ranked Gym Leader (this is me guessing that since Gym Leaders can win the Championship, it's possible to be a parallel thing/Champions in general have a side thing they're doing rather than just being fulltime Champ, idk lol also, he totally beats Mustard's record for a reigning streak). His ace as a Gym Leader is Corviknight! (because what else would you expect from me, I adore Corviknight hahaha)

Now for "where's his family from" I am not sure if I have a "proper" headcanon yet. I've seen the headcanon that the protagonist's family is from Sinnoh and I like that hc, so I adopted that for the meet-cute drabble I wrote earlier this week but with a spin where I kinda combined it with some inspo from Elio|Selene (i.e. Dad's still working in Sinnoh/often away for work + combined with the headcanon I've seen for Elio|Selene's mom that she does have an Alolan background. unrelated sidenote, I'm really fond of the Alola protags' mom lol she's sweet). So basically like with all these other things I'm just having fun playing around with different possibilities at this point!

I'm also so very fond of flower boi Victor and it's one of my headcanons that he loves exploring and really loved the Crown Tundra adventures (and didn't mind that Sonia asked him to do all the work finding the Swords of Justice + was happy about the praise). He really enjoys tagging along with Hop and/or Sonia for fieldwork, and the two make it a habit to invite him along since they value his input and also want to make sure he gets breaks to destress from everything that comes along with being the reigning Champion, especially as the one who caught Eternatus + gained the title when he beat Leon. Especially Hop invites him along since that also doubles as more time together when they're both often busy with their career paths. Also on that note, Leon and Sonia being Victor and Hop's mentor figures just makes me so soft 🥺 the Leon being Victor's mentor doubly so with the headcanon that Leon is transmasc too (which unlike transmasc Victor I can't say is a "fixed" hc yet but I'm very fond of the idea)

(also, while I'm now all on the "Victor is a total career Champ/Gym Leader and thriving" train at this point, I still live for the type of angst where he gets a little bit of selfdoubt crisis — in the early years somewhat more subtle and like a case of stagefright like in my drabble "Believe", then a bit more into the future it's like "oh god what do I even do when I inevitably lose the Championship, can I even continue as a Gym Leader if I lose my title, this is kind of all I have going for me what do I do" but he gets through it since he has such a supportive network of loved ones and friends. Also another tangent here, I also love the idea of Victor as a (part-time) model so lol he definitely has a lot more than just a fulltime battle career)

He likes hanging out in Spikemuth with Marnie, Piers, and Team Yell, and especially Obstagoon and Toxtricity really have fun when they do. On a related note, I like the idea that Team Yell kind of become Victor stans too because Marnie thinks highly of him, so they cheer for him together with her (whenever she's not the one battling him in a match, obviously lol)

I've already rambled so much about various aspects I could think of ahaha so now since I've already talked about Hop + this is a trainshipping zone, I'll add some of my "core" headcanons for him!

is gay (or not clearly labeled but definitely likes boys. this is coming from someone who's very "???" about labels re: my own orientation but definitely is a boy-liker lol so please excuse the bit of vaguess here despite listing it in my core hcs hahaha)

he's so supportive of Victor's transition, regardless of whether or not Leon is also trans, but it's a bonus when he already grew up with a trans big bro and then his best friend/crush is trans too and that's his two most favourite people in the world so of course he'll do anything to be supportive

He'd often ramble to Victor about what he's studying and Victor is always happy to listen and loves when he's so excited, so it basically turns into Victor helping him study. Also, they both make sure the other gets enough rest and destresses, already through their teens but especially when they're both grown up and Victor is still Champion (+ a Gym Leader) while Hop is now a fully fledged Professor. Even way into the future it remains a Thing that Hop excitedly rambles about his research or rants when he's stuck on something, and Victor is happy to listen and try to help him get unstuck (and Hop gives him a big smooch in thanks even if all Vic did was just listen and ask questions to hear more).

Most random thing but I so love the idea of either (or both) of them having freckles and same for glasses... bless all the fanarts with glasses for either of them. And while I also love fanart of Prof Hop wearing a more formal look, it's my wholehearted believe that he'll still wear the signature trackies look just with a labcoat now (and — you guessed it — Vic hogs his jackets. Nevermind that he has all the hoodies and fancy jackets and everything, the boyfriend jacket is so much comfier than anything else).

And I'm going to end this looooong ramble to mention that I've been developing fankids for them too! I already talked about them over on twitter and I'll probably talk about them here eventually too haha

This is it. This is how he's going to die. Where's Urianger when you need him the most? All time spent in Il Mheg did not prepare him for this moment. What could he even say or do to appease the King? Go on all fours and beg for her forgiveness? It's not that he was serious about never visiting again, but he supposed it's bad jape to even mention such a thing when he had been quite neglectful of her. He gritted his teeth together, quietly hoping that there's another life-threatening calamity just so he could weasel his way out of this ordeal.

"L-Look, I'm thankful... okay?" But come now! There should be another way to express his gratitude aside from letting her pry into his intimate affairs like that! He crossed his arms, feeling more exhausted as time wears on. "Let's forget about that person, shall we? We should spend time together instead." Right, take their attention away to the heart of the matter. He came all this way for her, after all. What was the point of discussing someone else? "I'm sorry, I mean it. My OC Showcase!

Hi everyone! Welcome to my Tumblr OC showcase, Where we'll be looking at self inserts and/or OCs that were or were not been used, in today's showcase, we'll be looking at my WarioWare OC: Amian!

Amian first appeared in WarioWare: Gold, at the ending cutscene she just appeared out of a portal, and... yeah I had no idea how she even existed a portal just led her there

Her power is that whenever she cries, her tears can make anyone cry in an instant unless she calms down, however... robots are not affected by this (Don't ask why) She's 4 but she can't speak so she uses onomatopoeia and actions to convey what she's saying (when she's 6 she can speak only one word, and when she's 10 she can speak sentences now :D)

In WarioWare: Get It Together, she can walk and jump (Obviously) but when mashing the A button she can cry out tear projectiles on both sides

But if you hold the A button, her tears will look like this and can be controlled up and down

this is how they sort of work, but you can make it a straight line so yeah-

but be careful when playing in 2 player, if you ever get hit by the tears (Projectile or waterfall *IDK HOW TO CALL IT OKAY I'M SORRY*) the character you chose will cry causing them to be stunned for a few seconds... unless you chose mike then you're good

even so, drizzile plushies seem IMPOSSIBLE to come by these days! how did you manage to find one? they're almost always going for around 90,000 pokedollars, and silph, the only company that produced drizzile plushies, stopped creating them sometimes last year! these are actually really rare! they might not be as rare in your world, but its still extremely hard to come by one over here!

Inteleon anon here and very tired...I woke up in the middle of the night to something shattering and I BOLTED UP cuz ya know...a baby and a teenager in the house. I went into the kitchen and saw Froakie had knocked a glass on the floor. Whatever. No biggie. But I guess she thought the glass looked pretty and decided to jump down on it and yeah...I got to spend half the night in Pokemon center while she got like 18 stitches...Arceus let me never go through that again her cry was pitiful😭

One question though...when the nurse gave her back to me, she said that the stitches in her hands were pretty deep and might causing growing complications?? What did she mean by that???

Oh no, poor Froakie, 18 stitches doesn't sound like fun.

I think I know what the nurse was talking about, but I'm not sure if "complications" was quite the right word to use. Froakie's still pretty young and, presumably, she's been growing like a weed. However, not that she's injured, her body has to redirect the energy that it had been using to help her grow, and instead use it to heal her hand. This will likely cause some delays when it comes to her physical growth, and there is a possibility that she may remain on the small side for her species but, as far as I know, there shouldn't be any sort of long-term complications.

So, the Sobble line has two breeding seasons per year, and we happen to be right smack dab in the middle of one of them (the seasons are July-September and October-November if you're curious)

Now, I'm not gonna say that your Inteleon is 100% the father, since it could be literally any other male member of the Water 1 or Field Egg Group, but I'll be honest, it is highly likely that your Inteleon is about to be a dad.

I did this with Grookey and then decided to do it with the other two too. Honestly this is a lot of fun lol. I'll list the other ones I kind of like and maybe talk about the ones I really like.

Grookey (groove monkey):

Harmonkey (harmony monkey)

Jampanzee (jam chimpanzee)

Drumpunkzee (drum punk chimpanzee, yeah it's a reach)

Tempape (tempo ape)

Drumpanzee (drum chimpanzee)

Punkaque (punk macaque)

Tempoon (tempo baboon)

Orangroove (orangutan groove, I don't think Grookey's final evo will be big and orangutan-ish, but I thought this one was fun)

Rhythmian (rhythm simian, a definite fan of this one)

Chimpunk(zee) (chimpanzee punk, I really like this one even though it sounds like chipmunk, you really have to say it "chim-punk")

Tamarock (tamarin rock, a name which makes me think of tamarins in a rock band, a mental image which I couldn't love more)

Howlemur (howl lemur, howl as in howler monkey and as in howling singing)

Jamarin (jam tamarin, also one of my favourites)

Treboon (treble baboon, "treble" can also serve as a rephrasing of "trouble")

Drumur (or Drummur, drum lemur, also sounds like "drummer," I'm a fan of this one)

Chimpanigan / Chimpanijam (chimpanzee shenanigan (and jam), probably my favourite as it (kind of) successfully combines the three Grookey themes: monkey, music and mischief)

Babang and Babeat (baboon bang/beat, I don't think they'd be used for Grookey but I absolutely love these names. If Grookey wasn't going to be a musical monkey, I'd love to see these 2 be a line, maybe add in a 3rd too)

Bangorangutan / Bangoranguband (bang orangutan (and band), I totally don't think they'd use this but wow I love this name it's so ridiculous)

Scorbunny (scorch/score bunny):

Assuming Scorbunny is going to be a sports bunny.

Rabburn (rabbit burn)

Birrbunny (birr bunny)

Socchare / Sokhare (soccer hare, not a fan of using soccer for a English-based game but hey)

I love this name. I think it's perfect. It covers everything in the Sobble theme: crying, lizards, water, and that subtle supernatural/Loch Ness theme. I just... love it. Variations are:
