can i just say: i've come to terms w/ the fact that the hxh succession war fandom on tumblr is teeny-tiny in comparison to other shonen.... and i'm actually super super okay with it because basically everyone here is so damn cool. we may be few but we are mighty etc. i've had more positive interactions w/ fellow readers in the past few weeks than i've had in literal years of being in other fandoms. y'all are awesome and the engagement is top tier.

and to literally everyone else who is posting succession war stuff, no matter how obscure, know that i love you and you are soosososooo appreciated! makes me smile every time

I'm just gathering inspiration and ideas for the next modern!au!series drabbles, and I think I'm going to divide them into two kinds: one where the reader isn't dating Azriel (yet); where you got the tension and tingles, but it's mostly focused on her friendship with all of the boys and those wholesome snippets of living with them - and then the ones where they are dating! which sort of explore the relationship with modern!Az in that alternative universe and the sweet, wholesome everyday-moments just between them.

ok here's what i've come up with from thinking about it at work:

suguru opens a bakery/cafe after his career as an executive chef crashes and burns

he and the girls live upstairs so that suguru can get up at 2 AM and bake bread (and blast music, because they're heavy sleepers and they don't have any other neighbors except the building's third floor kjsdfhjksdhfk)

which means ur muse can absolutely live on the third floor js

cafe's known for its unique tea-based drinks because suguru's always experimenting — buckwheat ginger tea latte is the most well-known one

small stock, sells out early. open late on weekends but just for coffee/tea/whatever desserts are left. occasionally for customers he really likes, he'll just like, bring down stuff from his apt upstairs and cook them something

opinion of bugs, what do you do when you see them?

what do I do when I see them? I SCREAM, I RUN, I CRY. I WILL FLIP OUT IF ONE OF THEM TOUCHES MY SKIN.

surprisingly I don't really mind most bugs that much as long as they aren't anywhere near me *(like crickets, spiders and ants, even bees)*

but flies.... flies are my living nightmare and I cry when I see them. it is my biggest phobia ever and I cant stand them. I used to have to run into my dad's room in the middle of the night to get him to swat a fly down because I was afraid it would crawl into my ears. Also, flies have so much bacteria... and the buzzing, ohhh the buzzing noises of them bring me so much paranoia, I HATE THEM.

Also my room was infested with these tiny carpet beetles once and I would I always find them crawling on me and at first it wasn't that bad but everytime I squished them they made a crunch noise and those freaked me out so badly. it was a sensory nightmare...

but don't get me wrong I hate squishing bugs and would rather bring them outside to go live their little bug lives.

sorry this was a very long answer (that probably should have been a short silly one) I just have a really strong opinion on bugs
