even at this point in the story and with the romance well and truly confirmed it's very possible that lucanis has never seen even a sliver of rye's naked skin below the throat. very likely no one on the team has yet except possibly emmrich if rye got hurt in battle and needed help patching it up. high-necked watcher garb with gloves and all stay ON at all times. thank god for rye's sake that lucanis' history of romantic interest indicates that surprise bitch he could be kind of into that fhsdkjfas

I got reminded of the cutscene where Ethan is going back to destory the megamycete and I think if Ethan had a little more time maybe his heart would have grown back. With Jack we very much destroyed his heart and he split into two entities one got killed by Ethan in the boathouse and the other by Uncle Joe in the main house

what i find confusing is the rampant dislike of purling in the knitting community. and it's like, i understand we have likes and dislikes and they're personal and that's fine. i guess to me, purling is one of the fundamental stitches, and if I was knitting in a way where I disliked it, my personal reaction would be to find a way of purling i liked better. That's not to say like. You Can't Dislike Purling, it's to demonstrate my feeling of disconnect

but I think my main confusion is that it seems "standard" to dislike purling, and so I think some of my confusion is coming from a sense of, have we talked newer knitters into disliking purling? like, to fit in you must be able to talk about how much you dislike it?

To clarify: I'm only mildly bemused by individuals disliking purling, but I'm VERY bemused by the community culture of disliking purling to the point that designers will make a point about how little purling a design has

i dreamed that i found a CD labelled with a band name in sharpie (this band does not exist irl and i've forgotten their name, but in the dream i instantly recognized them as a hit pop-punk act from the 90s) and i put it in the CD player in my car bc i was like hey might as well spend some more time listening to the classics

I know multiple of these are likely important to people, but I'm asking in terms of like - which of these do you tend to focus on the MOST, enjoy the most, that is most essential for you to actually care about the media, etc.?

(For example: someone finding "Relatability" most important would likely not enjoy a show much if they have trouble empathizing with the characters/relating to it, even if it were good otherwise. Or, someone might be able to overlook bad acting and ugly costumes, as long as the Character Dynamics are fun to them, because they value that more than Aesthetics- while for others, bad costumes would be a dealbreaker.)

Also feel free to reblog and explain your answer or more information in the tags- I've always been curious about people's relationships to media, how they conceptualize it/what they get out of it, how some people value some parts more than others, how that informs their overall taste and genres they may be more inclined towards, etc. :0c
