Hi, happy valentines day!

I read half yours (half unsure) and god, it was the best thing I've read in a while. It made me really happy and giggle like a fool.

Also I had never seen Temptation Island but I'm definitely going to see it now. There were so many moments where I was just banging my head and laughing because my sweet boy is so SO clueless and oblivious. Honorable mentions to the scene where they're arguing while still holding hands and Kingsley walks in and is like “they're holding hands, they're arguing AND THEY'RE HOLDING HANDS!” I thought it was so so sweet and cute the fact that they've been fighting and yet they didn't want to let it go for fear of the other one pulling away.

The whole scene reminded me of a family. Like Regulus and James are the parents discussing what to do with their moping kids after their first breakup and James of course is the parent who cares too much and wants them to be happy again and Regulus knows they need space and at the end Regulus is fed up so he gets all authoritarian he's like “NO, WE ARE GOING TO EAT NOW” and everyone just listens to him and James is like ???? sublime

But seriously, how was Marlene the only one in that house who realized they were obsessed with each other? Either they're all painfully straight that the thought never even crossed their minds or they're as oblivious as James.

Anyway, I loved the fact that their relationship was so steeped in emotion, tenderness, friendship, companionship. It wasn't just attraction, they had a really special connection.

I have a few questions, first, I'd like to know what each couple decided at the end of the show? and why didn't James have a recording of Lily that week?

I want you to know that this fic earned a place in my heart as every, and seriously every single character ❤️❤️❤️ Even Fleamont who appeared for two seconds but made my heart melt and laugh by calling out james for his possessiveness.

omg please do.. it's such a shitty problematic show but it's so very entertaining.. i gotta say tho i've only seen the spanish version of it so i can't speak for others

a few ppl have mentioned that scene specifically and it makes me giggle every time bc it's indeed such a silly moment and kingsley was so real for being so appalled at the whole display. jeg were so oblivious and so insufferable!! who tf argues while holding hands honestly

UR RIGHT LOL i do feel like there's a certain element of found family there.. i couldn't focus on it as much i wanted to bc the fic was very jeg-centred and it would've ended up being longer otherwise and 189k is already insane enough but . ur definitely onto something here

the thought never crossed their minds!! most of them were indeed straight!! not all, ofc, but considering the kind of show it is, i don't think any of them ever expected something like that to happen yk? marlene was very close to reg so she could tell more easily + she was the only one apart from reg and dorcas who didn't come to the show looking for love or sex

they did <3 they're so in love <3 and i'm very pleased i managed to convey jeg's bond so well bc . a lot of the time temptation island relies on horniness and sex and just . general tension . which is So Fun don't get me wrong but i wanted ppl to see that what james and reg shared was more than that. they wouldn't have put so much effort making it work after the show otherwise

so!! peter and mary ended up leaving with their respective tempters, although mary broke up with fabian a few months after they left the show while emmeline and peter remain happy and together!! kingsley and sybill left together and now they're better than ever!! and then alice and frank also left together, then after a few months decided to take a break (bc frank started hanging out with lucinda again and it brought Issues to their relationship), and now they're giving it another go!! fingers crossed

and james didn't get any images from lily that week bc pandora suspected it was bound to make him break down!! and she was right!! temptations island is a very manipulative show in that way.. it's supposed to do everything in its power to make u cheat!! and pandora knew that not seeing lily was bound to hurt james more than actually seeing her!! mostly bc lily wasn't doing anything wrong or crossing any lines

I LOVE FLEAMONT SO MUCH TOO.. his presence in the story was brief but so powerful.. a hug from him would solve all my problems i think

anyways i hope that satisfied ur curiosity!! and once again thank you so much for reading my story and giving it so much love. it fills me with joy to know that it made u feel so much and that u hold it so close to ur heart <3
