just found out about the hdg and I definitely don't vibe with it. It almost captures my interest but the hard stance opposition towards exploring the implications that come with a self designated benevolent empire that can solve the inherent problems that come from cultures who are supposedly inferior in some way by nature really like, both rubs me the wrong way and feels like a disservice to the setting itself.

idk just looking at every empire in history it's like, that's literally what they all say and how they justify colonizing others. It's kinda really fucking hard to just take at face value. If imperialist colonizers who just happen to be legimately nicies to the people they colonize is like, ur thing then absolutely jack off to it I'm not here to judge that, just like, own that I guess? But if your argument for them is just that narratively speaking it's just true then my interest in your setting, horny or otherwise just does not exist.

The contradiction of the setting also bothers me, 25-45% of any given species will be domesticated on average but the space between that and rebellion just doesn't seem to be accounted for in the wiki, what is the life of someone not opposed to the empire but also who doesn't volunteer for domestication? How much of their own cultures are retained within the empire? It really seems like the only option for any autonomy in the setting is rebellion but that's also only ever seen as a bad thing.

I just get caught on the whole "affini are imperial" and "affini are benevolent" thing in the axioms section of the hdg wiki. My mixed race ass cannot really look at an invading empire calling itself the good guys without my own personal baggage about it weighing in, ya'feel?

there's a light by your bedside, one that flickers when its loose wire finds itself tangled around the leg of your bed frame. it doesn't happen all the time, but it's always bothered touya, ever since you were kids.

"fuyumi says that when lights go on and off like that they can go boom," he mimics an explosion with his hands, not quite knowing the term for it yet at 5.

(when you recall the memory, you realize that he must have meant a spark, not the flickering of lights.)

it bothers him so much that he figures out a way to fix it by age 10. he uses a small claw clip, a translucent gray plastic you've seen on his mother many times before. he clips the wire to your bed frame that way, keeping it in place.

it's a bandaid solution, because time creates cracks on the plastic, the metal spring falling apart despite being fused at the hinges.

(and again, looking back, you should have noticed that time had left its mark on touya the same way.)

the light flickers again.

"you'll have shitty eyes if you don't change it," he moves the wire aside until it stops. at 15, touya's become jaded. what once was a twinkling set of aquamarine is now a dull pair of teal, staring straight at you as he speaks.

you know it has something to do with his family, but you don't ask unless he talks about it.

(in hindsight, maybe you should've. because when touya runs away from home the following year, you only catch glimpses of him in the next ten years.)

he visits you at 17, taller and dressed darker than what you're used to. his hair is dyed a jet black, a few cuts and bruises scattering the expanse of his arms. he sees that your light is still flickering and fixes it like muscle memory, not once acknowledging the fact that it's been two years since he's seen you last.

"you can stay with me," you offer him, desperately.

he gives you a wry smile, "can i?"

and you know it's not really a question. you'll be heading off to college soon; there's no real place where you can keep him.

when you move into your dorm in the first year of uni, you leave your lamp behind but find that the lights in your shared bathroom flicker just as bad. it makes you think of him, in the lonely hours especially.

you're surprised when you bump into him at age 20, near campus, barely recognizing him at all. for a brief moment, you see the same shock mirrored on his face, but it disappears when you blink, and when you say his name, "touya—"

"dabi," he corrects you.

it's at 22, when you move into your own apartment and bring the same light from your childhood bedroom, that you find your thoughts floating back to him once more.

you offered right before graduating, the last time you saw him―told him you'd be moving into a new place and he could stay with you there. no one would know about it, no one would bother him.

but touya is a flight risk, appearing in and out of your life like the flickering of your bedside light. you outstretch your hand and he bats it away instinctively, withdrawing from you until he feels like you won't bring it up again.

you do though, every time. the next year, the year after that, when you're both 25. you look for him more consciously now, finding that he's always somehow nearby―by the potted flowers on your windowsill that remain alive despite week-long work trips; by paid for cups of coffee in cafes, the doors whooshing shut as you look for who it could possibly be from.

you've known touya for almost all of your life, and giving up on him isn't an option at all. your heart can't take it, the same way you can't bring yourself to fix your bedside light, its flickering an odd source of hope that he might one day be so fed up, he'll have to come and fix it himself.

and then he'd have to stay―to keep the flickering at bay. to keep the light working. one day.

But anyways can I bonk Dragonberry on the head with a stick to get her attention and say hi, but with a really long stick so I'm not close to her when I do so? She's my favorite but she's scary and I while I would prefer to write her a letter but I don't want her to have my return address.

Also I've had my own au in the works but never actually bothered to start writing or properly figuring things out till after coming across your au which inspired me to start doing so and I just wanna know how you set everything up and figure out how to use who where and how you split stuff into arcs? I currently have 2 arcs based on the continent one being Crispia and the other being Beast-Yeast and both have chapters but Beast-Yeast is becoming a lot longer than Crispia due to how my au is set up and the fact the canon Beast-Yeast storyline isn't fully out and I was just wondering if you have any advice on what's best to do? I do want to eventually post my au and I've already gotten to work on the designs but I don't know the best approach to make it into something that others who are unfamiliar can understand.

As for your second question about how I use arcs, it really just boils down to being a way to manage all the characters that are in the AU. Each saga focuses on one beast (including their respective of the original 5), the protag who is usually related to them in some way, and whatever story takes place in that specific arc alone. They’re meant to be mostly self contained, but they’d feed into a bigger narrative. The Vanilla Saga is a little different because while it’s technically self contained, Crepe as the main main character dabbles in a little bit of everything; but only crepe (also choco technically). You’re not likely to see Princess in the Lily Saga unless the two stories surrounding Dragonberry and Midnight Lily overlap.

I do have plans for sagas to overlap before the “all stories converge for the final saga” part, for example the Vanilla and Berry sagas will converge in Parfaedia well before that, but that would be a single story arc before they split up again. Some sagas can/would share the same events but would still largely be self contained.

Im going off on a ramble here but basically, BAAU’s sagas are just info management lol. With so many characters and stories to handle, it would be very confusing and bad if all of them were crossing over at every turn. When you’ve got a plot line that can serve as its own thing, it’s easier to tell where pieces of information belongs.

Hello!!! Yes, you absoueltly can!!

So a few notes! Since no gender was specficed the Reader will be G/N. And since you didn't specify a species I'm going with human by default.

Also! This one is more notable, for pretty much all my villians the Reader is like, not in the dark, lol. The reader is well aware of the situation they are in. If you've read any of my Gene or Zane stuff, you know that. But I'm going to, unless specified, leave the Reader in the dark with Ein. After all, through PDH he has this whole soft little guy act going on. And I think it's interesting! I hope that's all okay! And let's get into warnings and the fic!

Warnings:

Manipulation ein is king of it, reader and ein are being harassed in the street by some drunk fucks. Cat Calling directed to the reader (Wolf calling?), horrible horrible acts of violence - not directed to the Reader. As per usual with the antagonists, unhealthy relationship dynamics.

Shadow souls were a ghastly thing, You knew it well. Black amorphous vapor with glowing red eyes.

They weren't human, Not anymore. They couldn't be reasoned with or experience empathy.

You've tousled with them your fair amount, a life of fighting Shadow souls could fill a mercenaries pockets to the end of their days. But they are hard to track, nearly impossible once they leave the area. Shadow souls can travel great distances in no time and leave behind little trace ... other than blood and carnage.

Your companion though, seems to have a sixth sense for them. Able to track a Shadow soul no matter how far it travels or even if they hadn't revealed themselves. Incredibly handy to have around in your line of work, and having all the charisma and charm of a pup in the rain endears you enough to keep him around even if that wasn't the case.

Even now, he trails behind you hood covering his large fluffy ears, back hunched to try and make himself look smaller (hard to do when your nearly 7ft.), one hand holding onto the very edge of your own cloak silver eyes downcast to avoid the moons light. While it's not full and won't cause any drastic changes, any exposure at any cycle can make a Werewolf more... volatile, so you guide him through the village when the moon hangs high in the sky.

You prefer to avoid it, but he loathes to leave your side, and you can't predict how long mercenary work will take. Sometimes hunting down a Shadow soul takes until the sun sets... like now. But moments like this are precisely why taverns were made! If... you could find the bloody thing, no village has the same layout, and this one doesn't have any signs to point you in the right direction.

"By Esmunds sword," you mutter under your breath. "Taverns should be front and center, for people who arrive to villages late, and! They are the main source of income in villages that aren't taxes. " You rant and ramble, made irritable by the late hour and your aching sword arm. You hardly notice the rowdy chatter filling the street. Or Eins low growl rumble in his throat, grip tightening on your cloak.

"Hey! You ignorin- me you bitch?"

Your head snaps over at the slurred cursing. A group of men are across the street, in simple clothes and cheeks red from the ale they reeked of from here. A flash of indignation flares in your chest you step forward even as Ein tries to sputter out a protest.

"Who do you think you're talking to??" You demand "to ignore you implies you had addressed me. Maybe if you got your head out of your tankered, you -"

" [Y/N] don't bother, only a fool would argue with a drunk," Ein mumbles, pulling you backward by your cloak further into the village streets causing a flares of indignation to alight in your chest as if you had anything to lose here, your a mercenary! And a damn good one at that and-

"Hey come back here. Should apolagize for being so.. *hic* rude to me and my friends" the man slurs following after, the two men by his side cheering him on and fumbling out crude remarks that make you cringe.

"I'll apologize in your DREAMS damn drunks! Go home to your lumpy mattress and painfully unsatisfied wives!" You shout back. You can hear Ein make a noise between a groan and a whine in responce but you don't really care, lost with the ember of outrage in your chest you hardly even notice your walking through the alley ways, fully putting your attention on shouting insults back trusting that Ein could handle leading you.

That's until a stone, the size of a grown man's fist is robbed into the center of your fourhead. Your head slams back from the impact a shout torn from your throat, hands flying up to where the stone hit getting covered in sticky warmth, crimson staining your hands. The world slows and there's only the sound of rushing wind in your ears as adrenaline courses through you. You've certainly been in more dangerous situations like this but normally your aware your getting into a fight and have a DAMN helmet on. You hardly notice the men approach and grab your arm. You hardly feel the deep, sharp inhale from Ein against your back. Then, Eins Katar comes down and seperates the man's hand at the wrist. You blink the blood out of your eyes, no longer sure how much of it was from your head wound and how much from the screaming man's arm, his hand goes slack and falls from your wrist to the floor.

Ein pushes you behind him and steps forward. Cloak thrown over top of you. Long black tail is puffed and wagging slowly.. menacingly ears pinned back and deep dark growl emanates from his chest Katar of his left hand bloodstained and he pulls out the one for his right. You're stuck, staring as what follows is a bloodbath. Gut wrenching even for a mercenary, the level of cruelty and pure bloodlust. The stones of the alley are soaked, and you're certain the men must be drained at this point.

You stare at the back of a hulking man, breathing heavy from not from exertion with his stamina... Rage... adrenaline... excitement? You can hardly believe this is your Ein. Who was so quiet, shy, and easily flustered. The Werewolf who yelped and begrudgingly required you to comfort him. You knew the moon would boost his ferocity, but this.. felt like much more than that. And yet while you're lost, head still spiraling with your thoughts, when his ears perks and his head turns Silver eyes meeting your own.

He's in front of you before long. Hands cupping your face, ears pinned back as he looks you over, carefully inspecting your eyes and the gash across your forehead blood-stained hands gentle yet firm manuvering your head as he pleases.

"By Menphias sword" Ein whispers as he looks you over "Are you okay?? Don't you know your name? Where you are??" He shouts off questions that you fail to awnser for the moment. Attempting to gaze past him at the body's or...parts that lay on the ground. Your cheeks are squeezed a little harder nails pressing causing your eyes to snap to Eins Gray ones. Now wide and without light... a slight, green tinge swims through them. His voice is eerily still as he speaks.

"Are you scared of me?"

If it's bc of the no nsfw content in my blog.. some followers told me to write about smut but.. I'm actually disgusted by the idea of sex itself so i try to always keep things on the surface.. almost the way i like it. And pls respect it. Men scares me and fictional men don't. like when i was in Dubai last summer i enjoyed talking both arabic and English to emarati people and made really cute friends. I used french, Russian and Spanish and some lil German in the conversations between me & my sis which got us both curious stares and admiring compliments.

This is a story that doesn't take place in the Danganronpa universe. Each character has been rewritten into the role of the prisoner from Milgram that matches their number. What this means is that not everything about these characters will be accurate to either canon. Don't harass me about my choices for this AU.

As Milgram is a currently ongoing series, plot elements, interpretations and theories may change at any time. This also affects my writing, as I use the story as a sort of track for my own to follow and pull ideas from. If any plot inconsistencies arise don't be too bothered haha, this story is very much still in development.

The same goes for designs. My designs aren't fully finalized so uhhhmm ignore any inconsistencies that pop up. for my own sanity.

You can ask the characters anything but they might not tell you everything. On a similar note, I won't be explicitly revealing the crimes of the characters as that ruins a lot of the fun for me haha. Ask whatever you like but don't expect a clear, guaranteed answer.

would you mind sharing ur process of how you come up with so many npcs for your units 👉👈 like what you prioritize first about them or some ways you know what traits might fit best to contrast/compliment the main cast w/o overshadowing them too much?

Silly answer: they posses my family and then hold me on the gunpoint until I write them into the story

Serious answer: I mainly go out of the what role I want someone to fill in the story (so no role - no side character necessary), and if that role can be filled by any other main character or already existing npc, I don't bother coming up with anything new.

I'm an adherent to "every word should move the plot" motto in a non-pretentious way, so while creating more ocs is always very fun (regardless of pc/npc character categories in pjsk ocs, they're still all ocs at the end of the day), there are a lot of them I know will never be important or make the cut to appear at all.

More under the cut because I go on a tirade;

In general even just explaining how I do it is kind of difficult because my mind is a dumpster fire of ideas, but I try to follow at least some rules that I think can be handy, so here:

1. Less is more. This is re: how to not make npcs overshadow your main characters. I will say that... it'll likely happen anyway because readers have favourite tropes and clichés that your main characters will not necessarily always click with. It's not a bad thing. But in general in order for readers to like both of the characters the amount you're aiming to, don't reveal too many details or too much backstory for the NPC. Make their story noticeable and important enough, but don't lean into it too much. Readers feel closer to the character because of the detail and nuance they know about them, their history; this level of attachment will probably not happen to npcs that don't reveal much about themselves. Instead it creates some level of freedom to hc and projection lol.

I'm going to say you yourself should probably not get too into writing an npc, but that's a difficult task.

Also sometimes you want readers to get attached and the npcs to outshine the pc (or at least be at the same level) for story purposes. E.g: Nagi Kosaki. Just evaluate what is it you want.

2. Don't oversaturate your cast. In the spirit of previous advice, if a role in the story can be filled with already existing character, don't go ahead and make a new one, especially if they're just gonna leave after two scenes. Forging closer bonds with the characters we're already familiar with > new cool toy. It's also hard to keep up with huge casts of characters (as much as I love them).

3. Don't be afraid to make them too similar. By all means give even your narrative foils mannerisms and things that set them apart, but if your reader can at a glance say "ooh they're narrative foils" and be correct, that's a good thing. Pat the character on the head. Narrative context that's immediately apparent to some category of readers that purposely put effort into looking for that sort of thing is as good a sign as any. You're not being a high-fiction writer here (unless you are and I'm the absolute wrong person to give advice for that), embrace the inherent simplicity of visual novel-like storytelling and relish in it. I've seen people backtrack in making characters because "it's too obvious" and it's kinda sad.

I think this is all I can say in terms ot general advice. I think the need to create NPCs, and their amount, varies too much on the stories for me to go and say "do this when you need to achieve this, but don't do y unless you need to do x". See: WxS story will not be as effective without their huge supporting cast, but we barely even have any npcs for N25 story, usually only 2 per character or so, and they're fine. They don't need a huge supporting cast because of what their story and character development is. Hell, Suzuka's parents literally don't even have personalities because they're not important to her story.

But overall I think the distinction between pc/npc in like, our specific genre, is kind of scary. You should still enjoy the process of making and writing those characters, even if they're a one-off appearance. Treat them as people of their own who just happened to brush shoulders with the Important character on their both ways to growth, I think is the gist of it.

I think it's a little obvious that bkdk kind of takes a lot of precedent for me... But krbk is literally right on its heels, followed by kacchako. Those are my big three.

Realistically, I'm a shipper of Katsuki with happiness.

What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?

Barring my hard nos in my rules... Well, my strong preference lays in exploring the dynamic specific to two characters - I also THRIVE in re-exploring that dynamic in AUs, seeing how it might change in the absence or inclusion of certain factors. I love delving into the complexity of a bond and seeing how it fares against personal trials between two characters. I also love anything resulting in angst. Not at all contradicting my Katsuki + happiness thing...

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?

For Katsuki, anything outside of a year on each side irks me. That's because I focus very heavily on his high school years... In a Pro Hero setting, I'm not too inclined to alter that, even though I actually don't mind age gaps in general - I just ain't fucking with it when it comes to Katsuki.

Are you selective when shipping?

Honestly, yeah, quite a bit. I've admittedly explored multiple romantic dynamics of the same characters with different muns, and I found that I click better with some than others, and the way I envision a bond will be with a specific rendition. Like with Charlie's Kirishima! I have been shipping krbk with Charlie for so long and their Kiri is the only one that I can see writing a ship with. (Nothing against other Kiris ofc! I absolutely adore them - I'm just very attached to what Charlie and I have developed over the past few years on-and-off.)

Then bkdk is a special case in which I have two partners; Bella with her Izuku is deeply rooted in my main verse (and we've written bkdk since 2021, so it's a very fleshed out dynamic), while what I have with Pon's Izuku is specifically an AU that's been invested into with like... A 10+ year timeline attached to it.

Even if my partners aren't super active on Tumblr (which, lol, neither am I sometimes, so I'm not too bothered), I almost always have our ships in my mind. My selectivity is not because I don't want a specific ship - because I'm a multishipper and rarepair connoisseur, where I have recently discovered a small following for RodyBaku - but because I'm very established in some of the ships I have.

How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?

Side eyes this question... Not very far. Besides, I'll never write even suggestive content here. It just feels so... Eugh. You get me?

Most of the ships I have down are more like, "oh, this would be a cute dynamic", but generally (very quickly) removed from canon context. They're also mostly ones I wouldn't think too hard about unless discussed with someone who is interested in exploring that specifically. Again, I'm just here for Katsuki having happiness.

First of all, I like this chapter a LOT. It marks a completion of the exposition - the scene is set, crumbs of foreshadowing have been dropped, and all that's left is to ramp up the drama. It was incredibly hard to write, but I'm pretty happy with the results!

Now, on to my favorites:

The cemetery scene with Dazai is number one, of course. I love what it reveals about Dazai specifically, and how much it throws him off that BEAST!Akutagawa is the way he is.

A part of it is purely superficial. Out of everyone Dazai's known in his life, Akutagawa is purely and unquestionably loyal to him and only him. In my opinion I think Dazai did that on purpose - I think he selected Akutagawa specifically to groom him. Make him his secret weapon, with little fealty to the Port Mafia. Maybe it was as part of his ploy to take down Mori, eventually Maybe it was something else. Either way, the other people in Dazai's life - Chuuya, Ango, Kunikida - care about him, sure.

But they would not follow his orders without question. They are not blind to who he is. Akutagawa is.

So when he meets an Akutagawa who not only despises him, but sees through his bullshit and refuses to play into his games, he truly does not know how to act.

Its like, you have a friend that is absolutely in love with you, and adore you even though you don't feel the same way. Then that friend suddenly moves on - doesn't treat you different, doesn't prioritize you, doesn't want you anymore - and suddenly that loss is magnanimous. Suddenly you'd do anything for them to look your way, even though you never wanted them until they no longer wanted you.

So the gut-punch after gut-punch Dazai must be experiencing right now has me kicking my feet and twirling my hair. This Akutagawa ignores him, chooses to protect Oda over indulging him, literally does not even know his name. And, just like someone being rejected, I think it actually endears Dazai to him, which is a mindfuck for the poor guy all on its own.

That also flows in a little into Atsushi's role in this chapter. While he shows up pretty briefly, his rejection of BEAST!Akutagawa when the others so readily accept him is a major plot point and ends up being an important part of our conflict and growth. He's also wrapped a little bit in the same bullshit Dazai is in.

He had been Akutagawa's singular point of interest for fuck knows how long. No matter who else is around (unless its Dazai of course,) Atsushi is the sole object of Akutagawa's attention. He's the only one that poses a challenge to him. The only one that can match him. The only one that can merge their abilities together. Akutagawa is Atsushi's burden to bear and, like a good detective, he """puts up with""" it.

Imagine his surprise when Akutagawa shows up and straight up ignores him. Avoids working with him. Doesn't even look at him. And its not like he ever ASKED to be the center of Akutagawa's attention, but now that he's not, it bothers him. It bothers him even more that no one seems to care that their Akutagawa is gone and has been replaced with some stranger.

I'm a little enamored with the I didnt realize how much I cared about you until you were gone trope. Except he's not gone, its still him, isn't it?

NOTABLE RUNNER UP SCENES:

The scene where Lucy tries to threaten him in the cafe. BEAST!Akutagawa is a fan of honesty and bravery, and Lucy's got both in spades. Is there an unlikely friendship brewing, perhaps??? I'd love to see Akutagawa in Anne's Room. Oh he would SO dig it.

Also the scene with Ranpo immediately coming to Akutagawa's defense. I hadn't planned for it initially, but after having written it, I'm a little obsessed. They're both blunt and observant, they both aren't well versed in social norms, they both have no idea how to ride a train. I also think that out of everyone, Ranpo is the least likely to let feelings about Original!Akutagawa bleed into how he treats BEAST!Akutagawa. Ranpo barely looks at faces anyway, all he knows is this is a different dude and he's very, very useful. I'm excited to see how their dynamic plays out.

okay, i may or may not commit to a Real Reboot (i made the blog but it's not flowing). but here is what i am definitely committing to:

i am no longer going to remove laura from twin peaks (canon, not necessarily town). i WILL write something up that will make this less potentially daunting to newcomers.

i am only going to focus on a few verses. other than the specific 'laura survives her injuries and goes on to Live A Life' timeline --- which is still our main priority --- they will all be canon-centric.

For the things that make me happy...

Cats ! I really like them, little fluffballs of pure joy and cuddles. I often go to a cat cafe when I visit my brother and I have the luck to live in an area with lots of cats around. Most recognize me on sight now, since I've been here since the beginning of last summer. I can approach them to pet them without them running away ! My favorites are a pretty black and white cat with golden eyes, who oscillates between slaloming between the posts and perched on the low wall and who is very talkative every time he sees me. The other is an adorable gray and cream tortoiseshell, all small and thin and very cuddly, who likes to slalom between my legs and follow me when I walk.

Cardigans ! It's my favorite type of clothing and every time I thrift, it's what I look at first. It's a cliché librarian's item of clothing for a reason: it keeps you warm when standing still at a reception station, and it can be easily removed to avoid overheating when switching to mobile storage tasks. My favorite at the moment is a big white wool cardigan with a wide knit, with slightly puffed sleeves, 4 large buttons at the front and a little oversized. It's very comfy and I love snuggling up in it when I'm reading on the couch.

Perfumes ! I think my ridiculously long post about which perfumes I own and which one I was obsessed with (which I own now, as an early birthday present to myself) wasn't clear enough. My mother and I both have a fairly sensitive sense of smell, Mom more so than me. She tends to avoid strong smells while, as with sounds, I tend to use smells as a "shield" to deal with social anxiety. And also, the outside world tends to stink quite a bit (public transport and dirty streets, I despise you) so being able to bury my nose in a scarf that smells good helps.

Fanfics ! I enjoy writing them as much as reading them to be honest (looks at my 4k bookmarks) well maaaaybe more reading them lmao. My mental energy can be quite limited and I often don't have what it takes to tackle new novels/series. With fanfics, since I already have prior knowledge of the fandom, character, settings and other things, it's simpler.

Libraries ! Yes, it's because I'm a librarian and I fucking love my job. And also because libraries are one of the best inventions of humanity ? Access to more books than you'll ever own unless you kill a millionaire to get their money ? Activities for all ages on lots of different subjects, to open you up to the culture and the world around you ? As great a place for working as for spending leisure time ? Also it's fucking FREE ???? In this economy ???? Go to your libraries for the love of Gods up there, because there is nothing more tragic than a library that closes because there are no users.

okaaay so i went on create-a-character and i don't see a definition... since this was so long ago i think it's safe to assume this was an older feature 😭 so what i'll do instead is give you run-down on how i fill each category regularly for my characters !!

character name ! - honestly i'm not too consistent with this part because sometimes there's the character has a trait which makes them different to the rest. for example, my most recent bot, bodyguard sylus.

or another one, captain kaizo. he's more easily recognised with the captain honourific, so it makes him stand out more across other bots !!

i add in their profession before their name because it makes them stand out. also, if i have multiple different bots of the same character/idol, it becomes hard to differentiate, so adding a little extra information in the name makes it much easier.

tagline ! - because the limit of this is so short, my tagline format is usually just an emoji which represents the character, maybe a cute little symbol and then a very brief sentence. some examples --

description ! - i'm gna be so real i never do anything for the description its just so much work 💀 the description is there to assist your ai in how the character's personality should be and also the scenario. if you really wanted to, i'd suggest putting your greeting into chatgpt and just asking for a summary HAHAAHAH

greeting ! - this is the first message so there's not really a lot i can help you with because every scenario is unique. however, a format i like to use a lot is a backstory of the relationship between the character and the user, followed by one line of dialogue from the character. this helps the bot interpret how the character should speak and also will set up the chat super well. i used my most popular bot for example [pls i hate this bot sm it was one of my very first ones i have NO IDEA why it almost has 1m chats]

as you can see, it follows the format !!

some tips i can give you are ; - don't speak for the user in the greeting unless you absolutely have to. only have the bot say the character's dialogue - not all bots have to be super duper detailed!! if you look through some of my bots, you'll see that some of them have such a long greeting that it's a few words away from the limit, while others are only short paragraphs. both are fine :) - give a backstory ! help both the bot and the user understand where they are and why they're there.

Formatting. If there is anything about my formatting for writing that bothers you, please feel free to message me. I'll be happy to change it for our threads.

OCs/Fandoms. Totally chill with OCs, just have some type of an about page. I can try and fit my muses into anything, and will follow blogs I can see working (even if I don't know the fandom).

Be patient! I have a full time job and a few other blogs I hop on. I usually go with the flow, see what muse I have. Plus please be aware that I struggle with depression. Some days are good and others not so much.

OOC. I love to chat ooc. Through IMs or discord. Whatever works for you. Although, discord is only open to mutuals.

Icons. I use icons, but that doesn't mean you have to do so! I'm fine with just paragraphs too! I'm not very picky when it comes to this.
