I got to scream about a little something
But today one of my friends asked me for an entire playlist because she really liked listening to it while we worked. And she also said that she things I got really good taste in music.
It just made me so happy, I shared two playlists, the one she asked for and another that’s a lot more experimental/strange, to see if she might like it too. She was really happy too.

I have to tell y'all about the cutest interaction I had the other day 😭
So I was doing a task that was gonna take pretty much all day so my boss asked another intern to help me out once she was out of school. She's a high schooler and she seems pretty shy, mostly keeping to herself for the first like hour or two. I've got my music playing and occasionally making small talk or funny-is remarks; I myself am pretty shy irl so I'm content to work in mostly silence, but still offering ins for conversation since I was taught that it's polite to do so.
Eventually, some old Fall Out Boy comes on and it catches this girl's attention. It starts a conversation about our tastes in music, video games, cartoons and anime. She knew I was an adult, but was really surprised when I mention that I'm 23.
She then gets super pumped and starts saying that she was pretty much taught that once you turn 18, you have to become a serious adult and kinda drop all your interests so meeting an adult who retained all the same interests from their youth made her really happy because that means she can do the same and doesn't have to feel bad about it.
I cannot explain to y'all how stoked she was, she literally yelled in excitement when our boss entered the room "I JUST LEARNED YOU DON'T HAVE TO BECOME BORING AND SAD WHEN YOU'RE AN ADULT!! :D" it was so adorable.
Turns out, she's actually a really talkative kid so we spent the rest of the time talking really enthusiastically about some of our shared interests and what being a weird, nerdy, alternative adult has been like for me so far.
I really hope she continues being herself even as an adult because no one should feel ashamed about what makes them happy

Hey sorry if this is super weird but I just have to say that I find you incredibly attractive. I came across that southern accent video recently and haven't been able to get you out of my head. Obviously I don't know you at all apart from what you present publicly on the internet but I'd really like to know if there's any chance to actually get to know you with potentially romantic intentions? Again sorry if that's a creepy thing to ask. And sorry for the anon thing, I'm kind of shy...
Hey anon, I really appreciate the thoughtfulness and consideration that this ask has. That accent video has garnered me quite the following and not everyone is so respectful of how I feel about their attraction. I’m gonna be real with you, I don’t look for romantic relationships on this site, and just in general I don’t really think it works to start a relationship right off the bat with those intentions already present. Start as friends, get to know a person, and see what happens. I’m totally down to meet folks, but I’m not so much interested in having a first date via tumblr, ya know?
I should also add that I am actually dating people irl, and seeing where that leads, so really I wouldn’t bank on my meeting anyone on here that I’d start that kind of relationship with.
That said, you can totally hit me up if you have something you want to talk about that we might have a shared interest in. I love talking about musicals and books that I like, I’m very passionate about politics and I love bugs. If you have something like that feel free to send me a dm and who knows? We could become friends.
