the tag of yours about Ezran bringing up how the sandwiches were amidst the destruction and Callum dying as a reaction?? im only writing this because i choked so hard reading that i did a fully body shudder. it took me way longer to recover from this than it should have because this was UNHINGED. I'm actually dying its so funny and out of pocket like you are a perfect human being you make me react like this way too often

The adrenaline of the hunt always did it—numbed pain, blanketed the searing ache of muscles with a single-minded desire to get the thing that had caused it all in the first place. He steadied Sam while he walked, letting go of his arm only once they could sit on the hood of the Impala.

"That's gonna need stitches," he huffed, straightening up and wincing from the stinging pain in his own side. A long but shallow slice through skin, torn edges of his shirt clinging to blood—nothing to which he wasn't accustomed. He glanced down at it, then back up at Sam. "'Tis but a scratch," he joked, exhausted grin flashed toward his younger brother. "You know—Monty Python!" A beat of silence. Dean sighed. "Let's get out of here."

I just wrote a very long rant and deleted it again but!! if any of you EVER have even a tiny bit of imposter syndrome when it comes to academic writing I am very happy to inform you that you absolutely do not need any of that, because as I've witnessed countless times by now, even some professors (especially professors) do not know how to use citation software but will also refuse to put any bibliographic information into the WIP document, and instead rely on their asistant's psychic powers to figure out what needs to go into the bibliography of their texts.

redemption arc central ── * so looks to me like life has been pretty fucking rough on you. your backstory has a not-so-pretty starting place, but upon having a change of heart (whether it came from help from others or within yourself) you are now working towards a better place. the pcs were surprised but relieved about this turn of events and the right group of them will be willing to help you, if you'd only take their hands. learn to trust again and let others support you even if you insist you can do it on your own. they're there because they want to be, not because they are obligated to. all the things you've done and the decisions you've made in the past that you wish you could go back and change now, are still a big part of your journey. you can't go back to change it and it will still shape things about your present and future. the important thing is your current desire to do right by yourself and/or others now. things are still rocky, they have been since you started down this road, but you are finding your footing out in the world and you're doing wonderful even when it doesn't feel like it. any amount of progress is integral to building towards the kind of life you deserve. i'm really just so, so proud of you, and so are the people that matter most. keep pushing, my love.
