man. I've been reworking a lot of content involving Act II of Home Is Where You Are and like. ugh. it'd work so freaking well in novel form but I just Do Not have the dedication or the drive to start from scratch and rewrite everything that happens.

idk how else to share the updated version of that part of the story with y'all tho, considering that Khalan's journal is insanely outdated now and isn't entirely canon anymore, so I'll probably just have to accept that I likely won't ever be able to update the story for y'all in the way I wish I could. >n<;;

might have to rewrite the story tag list post that I have pinned on this blog because things keep changing within the stories, and I also feel like changing the title of the post to clarify what it is would help too. don't know when I'll get around to doing that though. I've tried to figure out how to reword some things in the summaries but I kinda just gave up trying because I wasn't sure how to approach it, so I might just have to start some of it over from scratch.

if anyone has any tips on a good format for me to work with that's similar to what I've already written, please let me know. It'd be nice to have summaries and tag links for each story all in one place, but formatted in a way that's concise and easy to follow along :0

The struggle about posting stories that I KNOW are going to be zero-note wonders is that I have to finish them before I post them. I have to rely on myself to enjoy them enough to finish them, both because I will not be getting feedback from readers saying 'wow I'm so excited about this!!' but also my brain will interpret a lack of positive attention as people hating it instead of as a reasonable lack of interest due to writing about unpopular characters or writing in a dead fandom. This is one of the fun tricks you learn when you've been writing for over a decade.

I almost always make ocs in groups or pairs, or at least fit them into some sort of preexisting group. I get stuck making friends for Delta tho bc.. it feels like making friends for myself since he's a sona, which feels odd to me. not that there's anything wrong with it of course, it's just a strange character creation prompt that I don't really like.

So he kind of just ended up being friends w his coworkers at the aquarium which is funny bc blue and kazuki work there for unrelated reasons, so I sort of just. Made ocs inspired by my fav characters friends w my sona by accident. It's like. reverse self-insert fanfiction or something

I've made peace with the odd concept of art adopts but 60 euros for a copy-paste deer with a bit of recolored and fairly generic patterns is highway robbery.

At least make different poses. Make different species. Add accessories. Copy-paste same-pose adopts are supposed to be cheap.

I don't care what your normal premium price is but jfc. That is wrong on ALL the levels and these things do NOT have 60 Euro worth of art in them.
