Hi! This is my presentation post! I will update it from time to time! ^^

Some random things about me! :D

— I absolutely loooove music. It doesn't have to be any specific kind of music, I could listen to pretty much anything and I'd be happy, because it's music.

— I am a cat person, and I'd like to adopt one or two when I'll have my own place!

— I never actually dated or really had a "crush" on anyone, but that doesn't stop me from being one of the biggest longing romantic person that I know!!

— I'm a fucking Drama Lord. >:)

— I am currently hyperfixing on Finn Wolfhard's acting. And by that, I mean that I discovered him by watching "The Goldfinch", and seeing more of his acting is the only reason why I watched "IT", "The Turning", and "Stranger Things" even thought I usually really hate horror/action shows.

— I am an extraverted introvert!

— People say I look mean or scary, but really I just have a "do-not-come-near-me-or-I'll-bite-your-head-off" resting face.

— My favorite love languages are physical touches and words of affirmation. :)

— My memory works in a really strange way: I can remember word by word some parts of books and their entire storyline when I've read them years ago, but it took me 7 years to know the birthdate of a friend of mine that I met when we where both three.

— I sometimes have an hyperfixation on a random thing for months and then suddenly loose any interest about it for literally no reason at all.

— And (you probably guessed that by now) I tend to overshare things about myself when people let me. (⁠•�� ⁠▽⁠ ⁠•⁠;⁠)

A lot of people seem to headcannon that Jon would hate the Buried after his trip into the coffin, so seeing someone hc that he'd actually end up enjoying it and gaining some traits from it is really interesting and cool!! Also! Idk if I included this in my last buried!jon post I haven’t looked at it in a second but a longer headcanon of mine (that I have accepted as pure fact by now) is that he generally sleeps under his desk, like it’s one of those that are covered all the way so there’s a little cubby where your legs go. I think before the buried he’d sleep there because it was simply a nice spot out of view but after the buried he starts finding comfort in the cramped encapsulated feeling of the table cubby.

He gets all snug underneath like 5 million blankets underneath the desk,, for a very overdue nap

omg hi!! YES, I'D LOVE TO TELL U MY HEADCANONS

I know I've been only drawing Cali, but Texas is actually my fav too with Cali being in second, Alaska in third, Louis in fourth, and Gov in fifth!

I feel like Texas is my fav because I am a born and raised Texan tho... but I can't help it! I love him sm.

Anyway, I had to organize my thoughts about my Texas and TexaCali headcanons, so be prepared to read!

Texas headcanons (and some Austin ones too cuz I couldn't help it ^^;;)

I think my version of Texas is kind of unconventional but I love it and it has me giggling with glee, kicking my feet, and twirling my hair, so by the God I don't believe in, I'm going to continue thinking this way!

First, I love to think of Texas as a secret softie. I think of him more as a cat person because he likes that they're independent animals and he can't help but pet them when he sees them around the Statehouse or one of his other Texan homes (he keeps cat food on hand just in case) but keeps his cool when the other states are near by.

I think a funny headcanon of mine is: because of the incoming Californians coming to his state, I feel like that's subconsciously influencing his attitude and preferences a bit and it drives him kinda crazy cuz he'll catch himself thinking or acting a certain way and then curse California under his breath when he realizes why he's being weird. He'll deny it to anyone, but he'll somehow find himself going to more art centered festivals, listening to indie music, eyeing eco-friendly alternatives (cars, clothing, materials, etc.), has urges to go to the beach, and most annoying of all - somehow finds himself scrolling through Disney and Pixar movies to watch (to Austin's amusement).

He built a cute artsy home in Austin for Austin and he let him decorate the place because he wanted Austin to have a "safe space" and a place for himself. So Austin would go there to wind down, paint, do DIY projects (and give some of his creations to Texas and Cali), and go thrift shopping. Austin would totally help Texas pick out some outfits and make him participate in painting something while listening to local, indie, and underground music. Texas would deny it, but he likes that someone is looking out for him and he doesn't mind the painting because it's feels very traditional/cultural and meditative.

Texas also definitely has a beach house at South Padre Island! SpaceX has set up Starbase near there and now it's become a hotspot for rocket launches, so he goes there to watch the launches, hang out at restaurants and bars near the pier, and goes fishing. (I mention this because I feel like no one ever mentions Texas beaches and I feel like going to the beach is another place Texas goes to hang out or wind down.)

Gardening is another hobby I can picture Texas doing. Like for Austin's house, he mowed the front lawn, planted some flowers, and created a garden with low maintenance plants and a mini greenhouse for his backyard.

ALSO, I love thinking of him as a secret geek/nerd! I feel like because he has NASA, SpaceX, and a lot of tech companies are moving to Texas, he's becoming a lot more tech-savvy and very invested in technology development (which is super cool to me) but this also means he's getting into building computers and geeking out about computer parts and stuff which - somehow makes sense in my brain but not really logically - gets him into the MCU! I could totally imagine him watching Captain America or The Avengers and being invested in the lore and keeping up with the movies with Austin. I mean, he's not a die-hard fan that'll read all the comics, but he (or actually more so Austin) would prob look up extra context for scenes that need more explaining and discuss it with each other!

My TexaCali headcanons (Texas-centered)

I'd like to think that Cali finds out about Texas' geek side on accident in the most unexpected way. Like, Cali could be on the phone in the Statehouse living room, loudly debating with Florida on the phone about Deadpool & Wolverine — talking about the potential connections to the MCU future, and Texas would overhear their discussion about Loki and mumbles under his breath to Austin (a bit more louder than he thinks) in disbelief: "Pfft, of course Loki is coming back!" which makes Cali drop his phone in shock, stumble over to Texas, and demands to know how much he knows and how and when did this happen???

It's cute to imagine that Tex and Cali would hang out or have picnics at their beaches. They would watch rocket launches and go volunteer at the Sea Turtle Inc together at South Padre Island and Cali would take him on strolls on his beaches, teach him how to surf, and watch the sunrises or sunsets there (or back in Texas) on the back of Texas' truck with a cooler between them that has [insert alcoholic drinks here], sandwiches, and ice cream (idk any specific drinks, but ik they would be drinking some lol).

omg, and that when Cali realizes Tex is very deprived of validation and praise, he showers Tex in them which makes Tex feel insecure/unsure at first because he thinks Cali is only saying those things to be nice and not because he actually means it. After much reassurance though, Tex begins to love the praise and melts every time Cali says something endearing and positive about him! <3

annnnnnd, that's all I can think of atm! I did my best to make the TexaCali hc's Texas centered but I love em together so muchh lol

do you make your bed?

Not usually, but I don't have a partner right now. I find that I'm actually really good at cleanliness when I have people in my space regularly. I am better about taking care of things when I'm doing them for the ease of others.

what's your favourite number?

14, but I couldn't tell you why. I think it has something to do with a girl named Ciara who I sat behind in elementary school.

what is your job?

I fix things for a government agency.

if you could go back to school, would you?

Probably. I didn't really know what I wanted to do when I went to college, and was far too much a mess at the time to study what I really should have. If I could do it and maintain my expenses, I'd retrain for my preferred profession.

can you parallel park?

Yes. I am the gay who drives.

a job you had that would surprise people?

I was paid for over two years to be really good at D&D.

do you think aliens are real?

So... I gotta be honest... I hate this question. This feels as loaded as the "Do you believe in God?" question. We are not aware of the existence of life on other planets, let alone sentient life. There is nothing for me to believe in. Do I hope that there are other intelligent beings out there? Yes. I think it would be really cool to engage in communication with a species that also crawled their way out of the muck and made it to space. I think there's much we could learn from each other about life and the universe itself. But belief is such a loaded term for me as a lapsed Catholic. I do not believe in aliens, but I hope that we'll get to meet some in the future.

can you drive a manual car?

Nope! Never needed to learn.

what's your guilty pleasure?

Hmm... Nothing really anymore?

tattoos?

Nah, I've always worked in the public sector in a way that hasn't made it an advisable choice, and I've rarely cared enough about something to mark my body with it.

Purple most of the time, but my wardrobe would say I'm in my green era.

favorite type of music?

I'm a soft rock 90s kid who embraced a lot of 2000s and later alternative. I've been on a huge synthwave kick lately. However, because I grew up in the 90s and remember the era of radio, I have a deep affection for Soul and R&B, classic rock, and pop.

do you like puzzles?

Yes? But not in a way that makes me yearn for them.

any phobias?

Probably falling, but that seems like a normal one for survival purposes.

favorite childhood sport?

Baseball! I was a shortstop.

do you talk to yourself?

Not often. I don't actually have an internal monologue, so I don't need to talk to myself often to get through it.

This is...so difficult. Helloooooooo Nina :D I'm glad to have you in my silly blog :) I hope you will enjoy it in the future <) I wrote for both of them since I like Antonio ^_^ I'm sorry for taking quite a lot to answer ;-; it will happen again if I continue with this writing style </3.

I didn't dive too much about child thing, so you can take it as an adult or little kid. Either way, it's definitely platonic. Oh and it mostly seemed gender nature sooo :)

Both of them are not that experienced with children because of their backgrounds. Antonio is busy drinking his favorite wines and playing masterpieces for the nobles, and god knows what else. As for Jack, he's just being, well... Jack. :)

they don't mind children that much; it depends on their mood. Mostly, they act like 'the cool uncles'.

However, Jack is not as fond of babysitting as Antonio. He thinks there are better options, like Michiko or Leo! Or maybe, why not play with people your age? Robbie and Memory would be happy to have you around.

They recognize your unique and diverse interests in various forms of art, which is uncommon even among adults.

Sometimes, they will simply watch you to see what you are best at. That way, they could buy you something nice related to it. Of course, they would support you in other forms, as well. They just figure that if you are great at something specific, it means you love it the most.

Now, let's talk about each one :D

Antonio:

It's not unusual to find him friendly in matches if he's in the mood. A simple, goofy mistake was all it took to make this weird-haired noodle crack up (thanks to Tracy's terror shock and Martha's failed flare gun rescue).

You participated in this match. All of you were having fun in Moonlit River Park.

After this match, everyone said their goodbyes and left to do their own thing. You, on the other hand, felt you wanted to appreciate him more. So, you got yourself comfortable, put on your favorite music (or headed to the composer to listen to him), and started drawing. It didn't take you long to finish it, so you borrowed some clay from Galatea to make a small version of him. It turned out messy. Nevertheless, you colored it. Your paper drawing turned out better than your little clay Antonio, but it still looked adorable.

You would know if he's in his room by his usual violin playing. And today was no exception. You knocked on his door softly, and the long-haired man heard it. Which makes sense since he's hard to hide from.

"Come in,"

And with that, you slipped past his door. You were greeted with his usual creepy smile and a couple of bottles of booze around his desk.

"Hello (name), I thought you were tired from the last match. Especially for a little one like you. Do you want to listen to my latest work later? I suggested Mr. Kreiburg and I do a musical performance together for the upcoming season."

You didn't say anything, just smiling at him as you got closer, and so did Antonio's curiosity.

"Is there something on your mind you would like to tell me, (name)?"

He crouched down to meet your height, still looming over you. You smile only brighten when you got excited to show your work to him. Behind your back, you emerged two artworks of him. His eyes lingered on what your hand was holding before he took them.

The drawing was of him ballooning Tracy and holding you with his hair, while what seemed like a sad Martha with her gun, and Forward way back running at him.

And then he looked at your small clay sculpture. His hair looked like overcooked pasta and worms coming out of it, with some black coloring. implies you are still new to shaping.

You were overjoyed just looking at how his smile widened even more than it already was. You felt his eyes leave your art and look at your face. He honestly didn't know what to be happy about. Was someone actually spending time doing something wholesome for him? Or was it the sound of your laughter echoing in his room with the big smile of yours?

He placed your work on his desk and gently guided you with his hand to his embrace.

"I know you have undeniable talent, and I want to admire it and make sure nothing disturbs it. Today, you illuminated my heart with your caring light, crafting something priceless. I thank you for your gift, and if it was for that silly match, it's nothing compared to your kindness."

He patted your head for a few seconds and then stood up tall.

"As much as I like spoiling you with my masterpieces, you have to go to sleep. Ms. Dyer won't be happy finding you out of bed.

He placed his hand gently behind your back and guided you to his door. You were kind of disappointed; you don't like how Doctor Emily makes children go to bed so early. Nevertheless, you didn't complain. He didn't close his door yet, so you kept waving, saying your goodbyes and sweet dreams before your little form disappeared when you went downstairs.

He closed his door gently and went to his desk, which now held booze, paper art, and a mini clay Antonio. He stared at them for... what? Seconds? Minutes? He didn't care. Your pure soul made his usual lonely night better, and thanks to you, you gave him inspiration for his next musical piece.

He will cherish your gifts and art; they brightened his room and made him feel less empty.

I like to think he will force Joseph to take pictures of them and him together.

He's your number 1 supporter and fan of your work. Hell, even if it's horrendous, he'll be damned if he ever THINKS it's bad. He might as well show it to everyone and threaten anyone who says otherwise.

Despite many people and nobles gathering around him for his matchless skill, he appreciates you because you do what you want with pure intentions. He doesn't need to bother thinking about your actions (unless something is very odd), and you see him as someone to trust. Which is sometimes a bad idea because, you know... the devil thing.

He did consider having a child before, but he knows he would be an awful father. Having you around, not taking up all his time or responsibility of taking care of you, yet still filling that void, made him drink less than usual.

Jack:

If you are interested in the art of music, you just so happen to have the most skilled violinist in the whole world next door, and you might even catch him happily holding a small violin for you. Now, get ready for waking up every Friday to Monday at 6 a.m. for a teaching course. Will he make you as amazing as him? No. But you'll surely come close to amazing.

He likes to go to the manor garden, especially at night, because he likes his "own alone" time. He is known for being mysterious, sadistic, and moody, so most survivors keep you distance from him, usually the women. You always wonder why; he's not that "bad," as you think. He even carries your teammates in bride style, and likes to joke around in serious, stressful matches at the end of the day. And very polite gentleman.

So curious about him, you asked the hunters you trust when he usually comes to the garden, and then you decided to do your activities in it, hoping to see him today.

You painted, grafted, shaped, played music, listened to music, and even helped Emma water the whole garden. You spent almost 3 hours just hoping he would show up before your match schedule start. And just when you were about to give up-

"Helloooo there, little child. I must say you know where and when to pick the most perfect time for a suitable experience."

You turned around to see the very man you waited for, Jack the Ripper, outside the matches and in the open? You must be lucky. A smile rose on your face as you greeted him.

"It's great to see you too. I hope you don't mind me bothering you with my presence."

You watched him as he went further into the garden, chatting with Emma for a few moments. You wanted to speak to him, but you didn't exactly know how. So all you did was paint one specific flower that you liked and show him. Maybe it wouldn't be so awkward.

In a good 10 minutes, you finished, and while you admired your art piece and prepared to show it to him, he was already bent down beside you to judge.

"Hmmm..... very impressive, I do notice improvements in your details. But I fear there is something off about it."

You looked between him and the painting, figuring out what was missing. After a long silence, he finally stated.

"You don't have any idea how to light and shadow a flower, do you?"

You shook your head, saying you did what felt right.

"I do like to believe this statement as well, but sometimes there are better ways, especially when you can improve it much better. Here, give me your brush."

You hand him your brush as he takes your place, watching him work his magic on your art piece and fixing any mistakes. He makes sure to tell you where you messed up.

You were surprised, to say the least. You ask him if he's an artist, but he shatters your little heart when he says he stopped being one a long time ago. For you, you did feel frustrated, angry, and sad, however. You didn't give up on your journey, even on days you wanted to pull your hair out.

A thought crosses your mind. A white lie. You tell him you don't know how to paint certain things and would like him to teach you. He remains silent after your explanation, which creeps you out.

He knows you're lying, but it's not harmful, and he understands why. However, teaching you to paint? Out of all the requests, he prefers bring you the supplies you need.

"Hm... I asked too much. Would you mind if I left for a few minutes?"

You only nod, and he takes off. You felt guilty. Maybe you shouldn't have asked him; maybe you missed your chance.

20 minutes passed, and he still didn't show up. Yep. Might as well cry a bit tonight.

You gathered up your things, only your paints and canvas left. Once you collected them, you heard a familiar violin playing inside the manor. You decided to stay a bit to listen to it before you leave. You wondered if it was a stupid decision. You could just ask the hunters and survivors if you really wanted to know more about him.

"Fascinating, is it? Antonio's violin charms everyone to enjoy the moment, as if they are just puppets he controls."

Jack almost gave you a heart attack, but you forgot about it very quickly when you noticed him holding different types of objects—a bunch of paints and canvases.

"I did say I would leave you for a few minutes. You should learn be more patient. Anyway, sorry for taking your time. That da Vinci boy wasn't pleased to see me."

He placed the canvases and objects in the proper way before asking you to take your place.

"You are a very talented child. Your previous request was too silly to believe, so I brought things rather difficult to test you out and sharpen your skills."

And he wasn't joking when he said it would be difficult. At least he was more patient and easygoing than (da Vinci young boy).

One hour before the matches started, he decided you had had enough for today. He was focused on drawing small sculpture. So you took a chance to draw something.

Just when he finished his painting, you quickly told him you had to get ready for your matches, then left so fast, leaving one standing canvas behind. Before he could call you out about it, you were already far gone. So he let out a sigh and mumbled something about children these days.

He gathered all the stuff and went to your canvas as well, only to see a full drawing of a person.

It was him, focused on his own painting, with many red and blue roses around him. You almost made him seem like an innocent art teacher who loves nature. And well... one or two of those is true.

He couldn't help but admire it. How you pictured him in your head, how clueless you are about him, almost making him pity you.

If it weren't for Emma coming back because she's forgot something and noticed him, he would be quite late for his match. Not that he would have a problem with it; he would rather watch the painting dry so he can take it to his room later.

Nobody truly knows him, especially with how his personality switches so fast, but when he's in a "normal" state, he does feel guilty about... everything. He would rather meet you outside this game, an artist teaching young people how to draw. Yeah, that would be much better than being "Jack the Ripper."

I'm sorry, but he can't really promise to help you with drawing; he doesn't enjoy it anymore. But he can give you tips and bring you what you're missing.

He tried to learn other forms of art but changed his mind too quickly when he failed miserably. No, he would rather sleep underground to have someone guide him.

High chance he would take your artwork and study it, did you improve? How much? Was it easy or hard? How did you feel when you finished it? He can tell more about it. And he usually comes up and tells what he thinks about it and what to improve (if you want, of course). He hopes that one day, you will beat your fellow artist survivors.

Full giffing process - tutorial (*≧ω≦*)

Due to little demand, i will be going thru my complete process for making gifs. so this will cover all the basics i hope! keep in mind this is just the way I personally do things! please feel free to send me asks or dms if you have any doubts or questions!

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ DISCLAIMER: Everything I know about giffing, I've learned from other tutorials, including the VapourSynth Resources I'll be using in this tutorial so I'll leave links to those tutorials I've used here as well!

In Depth Giffing Tutorial (link here) How to use VapourSynth (link here) ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

(o´▽`o) I'm a windows user so idk if this works exactly the same on mac!

First things first, you will need:

☆ 4k video downloader (download it here!) ☆ Vapoursynth (32bit download / 64bit download) ☆ Photoshop (download it here! -64bit version only)

Okay! The first thing you need to do is make sure you're working with the highest quality material possible to ensure a decent looking gif!

I'd say the minimum quality needed for decent gifs is 1080px. But if you really want to gif that low quality 2 frame milisecond of your fave, i respect that

☆ lives / streams and tiktoks are typically not very high quality ☆ for stage performances such as music shows, ts/tp files are preferred but those can be really hard to get a hold of (this is a whole deeper level of giffing hell and more of an advanced class topic so nevermind this for now!) ☆ those occasional 4k facecams on youtube work fine tho! ☆ for mvs, variety shows etc, you can download the video with good quality from youtube using 4k video downloader

Now let's talk about tumblr and it's pre-requisites for a good looking gif post :D

Tumblr can be sooooo annoying about gifs okay.... I find it's best to plan my whole set before I actually start doing anything but hey that's just me. Some things to keep in mind are: dimensions, file size, number of frames and post layout!

☆ Dimensions

You have 3 main options here and it's all about the width!

☆ 1 collumn: single gifs! these should be 540px wide ☆ 2 collumns: split that in half! 268px wide so there's a lil breathing space between the gifs! ☆ 3 collumns: 3's a party! 177px for each gif please

You can go crazy on the height but the width should mostly stick to one of those 3 unless you want tumblr to pull and squeeze your gif around like a piece of gum.

☆ File Size

This is really important because tumblr has a single image size limit of 10mb. Which means that every single gif you make has to be under that size or you won't be able to post it. The other thing about this is that the dimensions, number of frames and ammount of varying colors throughtout your gif will greatly impact on the final file size. Basically, the larger the dimensions and the more frames it has, the bigger the final file will be. Later on I will show you how to check your gif's final size before exporting it!

☆ Number of frames

This has more to do with the length of your gif, the longer it is, the bigger the final file will be. Typically gifs should be under 3 seconds long. So if you are making a set, try to break the moments you want to include in your set by increments of up to 2 - 3 seconds each, otherwise it might not fit all into one single gif. The number of frames is also extremely important when making combined gifs but that's for another tutorial.

☆ Post layout

If you want to make a cool looking gifset (where some gifs are larger in dimension than others, or when you want to have a single gif followed by a line of 2 gifs next to each other), then it might be worth it to plan out the layout before you start making the gifs. This way you ensure you won't have to remake gifs down the line because they don't fit together the way you wanted to.

Timestamping

For this step, you will go through the video you want to gif from and you will just write down all the sections you want to use, down to the exact seconds. Example: 02:30 - 02:32.

VapourSynth (VS) - Clipping the video

I know VS can look pretty intimidating with it's bare coding and all but I promise it can be your friend. You just have to set it up correctly and pay close attention whenever you're using it. This software is a must for giffing, it will do all your cropping, resizing, sharpening and denoising for you, making sure your gifs look good. It is also indispensable when giffing ts/tp files because it deinterlaces those files so you can clip them.

First, let's set it up. This is the most annoying and difficult part of this tutorial so make sure you pay full attention to every single step!

☆ step 1) download a version of VS here (link).

☆ step 2) unzip the file on your desktop area.

☆ step 3) open the folder and find the file named "vapourscript (drop video file on me)" - make a shortcut of that file and move it to the desktop.

☆ step 4) find the folder named "gifs" - make a shortcut of that file and move it to the desktop.

☆ step 5) drag your video file you want to gif from and drop it on top of the "vapourscript (drop video file on me)" shortcut on your desktop.

☆ step 6) enter the timestamp input, in the first line it will be the starting of your timestamp, in hours format, then hit enter. in the second line enter how long your timestamps lasts, in seconds, also in hours format. then hit enter and let the code run.

☆ step 7) the resizer tab should now load on a web browser, then you will set the dimensions of your gif on the top left corner. you can also adjust the position of your gif within the video screen and zoom in if wanted.

☆ step 8) choose the preprocessor, denoise and sharpening options on the left and tick the boxes on. I usually just stick to the settings i'm using in my video down below.

☆ step 9) now in the VS box, go to file > load, choose the script saved in the gifs folder.

☆ step 10) copy the code from the resizer into the code in the vs screen, under the designated line.

☆ step 11) alter the code exactly like I did in my video down below. save it. this is now your default vs script for clipping your gifs. what you are doing by adding the hastag and the quotation marks is you're disabling those sections of the code. the reason you do that is in case you want to run the preview before exporting. this is because those lines involve some heavy graphic processing which can make the computer slow. I will talk about the script in more detail later on.

☆ step 12) i don't usually use this option but you can also preview your gif and set specific frames to start and end your gif. This is around the 4:30 mark in the video.

☆ step 13) time to export your clip! now you will temporarily remove the marks you added to disable the code and then go to script > encode video. in the popup box, you will select the option "export to MOV", then start so that you can use that video file in photoshop later.

☆ step 14) after you are done exporting, close the encoding box and then close vapoursynth, never agree to save the script when closing it, or that will override your default script.

☆ step 15) now you need to rename the encoded file for your gif. go to the gifs shortcut folder you created on your desktop, then go to output. this is the folder where VS will save all your encoded files. but everytime it saves the file with the same name so you need to come to this folder and change the name for every gif file you encode before you clip a new one, otherwise VS will just replace the previous clip with the new one you just finished.

Here's a detailed walk through of each step in this video tutorial:

IMPORTANT

After you are done processing your first clipped file, now you have your default script already built in VS, so whenever you run it to clip more videos, this script will already be in your VS screen. So now all you need to do whenever you want to clip more files (to make more gifs) is to adjust the dimensions, positioning and zoom of the video in the resizer screen and then change a few numbers in your script! then run encode to save the clipped file.

☆ To make new clips: go thru steps 5- 7, also do 8 if you want to mess with the denoise and sharpening filters again, but I don't really know much about how those work so I can't help you with this.

Now what you need to alter in the code, each time you are making a new gif: after you run VS and change the settings in the resizer to what you want, you need to change the zoom numbers and the video positioning in the code.

you need to replace the numbers in the VS script on the left so they match the numbers in the resizer on the right.

Do step 12 if you want to set specific frames to clip. Then steps 13 - 15 and you are done! You need to do all this every single time you want to make a new gif.

Now let me talk a bit more about some of the lines in this script:

☆ line 14: #video = core.std.Trim(video, a, b) this line is to set specific frames to trim your video section, your final encoded file will be only the frames inbetween the numbers you input here. a = first frame, b = last frame. you will need to run the preview option in VS in order to see every single frame of your clip and select your first and last frame. I usually do this in photoshop later instead so I don't bother with it on VS unless i'm making combined gifs, in which you need all the clips to have the exact same number of frames. the hashtag at the beginning of this line means that the script won't follow this command when executed. so if you want to include it, you need to remove the hashtag before encoding your file.

☆ line 18: #video = haf.QTGMC(video, Preset="Slower", TFF=True) this line is for the preprocessor option in VS, that tool is mainly only used when giffing ts/tp files because you need to deinterlace them before you can use them on photoshop. so you will only need to remove the hashtag and enable it when giffing those types of files. when im giffing those files, i usually always keep it with this setting:

I don't really understand much about this so I never mess with it. If you want to know more, I believe there's more info about it in the tutuorials I linked at the beginning of my post.

☆ line 22: video = descale.Debilinear(video, 786,442) this line is for the zoom of the video screen. you just need to match what you have in your VS script to what you end up with in your resizer.

☆ line 25: video = core.knlm.KNLMeansCL(video, 1, 2, 4, 2.5, channels="YUV") this line is for the denoising filters, in my case I always use KNLM and this is what it's line looks like. I know you can change those numbers to change the filtering settings but I never messed with it so I'd usually just have it like that.

☆ line 27: video = fun.FineSharp(video, sstr=2.5) this line is for the sharpening, in my case I always use FineSharp and this is what it's line looks like. I know you can change the number to change it's settings but I never messed with it so I'd usually just have it like that.

note: lines 25 and 27 (which have to do with denoise and sharpening) are the ones within quotation marks in your default script. I believe the quotations work in a similar way as the hashtag, in which the script only executes the lines when the quotations are removed. Which is what you do everytime you are about to encode your clip, otherwise they stay on. I think you should also remove them if you want to test how they affect your gif in the preview screen but i think these filters also require heavier graphic processing which my computer can't handle well so I never do that.

☆ line 30: video = core.std.CropRel(video, left=303, top=16, right=215, bottom=26) this line is for the positioning of your video screen within the gif dimensions. you just need to match what you have in your VS script to what you end up with in your resizer.

Photoshop (PS) - let's make a gif!

Now that we have clipped and preprocessed our video file, it's ready to go to photoshop!

☆ step 1) after you have opened PS, go to File > Import > Video Frames to Layers. Then choose the clipped file you created through VS.

PS should open a box like this:

Keep those options ticked and hit OK

☆ step 2) now you need to go to Window > Timeline to bring up the timeline tool box. This window will always be necessary when making gifs. Let's take a look at it, I've marked down all the important buttons you will need:

timeline menu: there are several commands in here, you will need to use some of them later on.

convert to video / frame timeline

play controls to watch your gif

trash can to delete selected frames. (when deleting frames, first delete them here and then delete it's matching layers which are still there after deleting the frames)

frame delay time: this is where you set the time for how long that frame will be visible in your gif

☆ step 3) remember how I mentioned the preview option in VS and how i don't usually use it to trim the frames of my clip? That's because I usually do that at this step of the process, in PS. Notice how each frame is also a layer, and when a frame is selected, the matching layer has the eye symbol next to it turned on. So now you should play your gif and see if there are any frames you don't want to keep, then delete the frames and it's matching layers.

Since we applied sharpening filters back when we were clipping the video on VS, your clip should probably already look pretty decent even before the next steps, so steps 4 - 9 are optional. The coloring part of my video has been sped up.

☆ step 4) click on the timeline menu and select "Select all frames", then go to the select menu at the top of the PS screen and select "All layers". Now click on button 2 of the timeline at the bottom left, switching from the frame timeline to the video timeline.

☆ step 5) before you do anything else, make sure the blue holder is at the beginning of the track before you do anything else. Then go to Filter (at the top of PS) and select "Convert for smart filters". This will convert all the layers into one single layer.

☆ step 6) now make sure the layer is selected, then go to Filter > Sharpen > Smart Sharpen. A box will open with several options:

I usually keep the amount to around 30, I don't touch on radius and you can also mess with reduce noise if you think your gif is looking too sharp. Hit OK when you're done.

Since this is a filter applied to a smart object (the converted layer that contains all our layer - frames), this means you can turn this filter on or off as long as the layers are in the form of a smart object. You can also go back to it and alter it's settings (like I've done in my video down below)

☆ step 7) now while making sure the blue holder is still at the beginning of the track and the layer is selected, click on the timeline menu that i mentioned above. Then go to Convert Frames, then select Flatten frames into clips.

☆ step 8) again go to the timeline menu, Convert Frames, but now select Make Frames from Clips. Now click on the button at the bottom left of the timeline box, to convert the video timeline back into a frame animation. Then hit continue in the pop up box.

☆ step 9) now you are back to the frame timeline screen from before, but now the first frame is empty. You need to delete that first frame and then check the final frame because sometimes PS also creates another empty frame at the end at this point.

☆ step 10) PS also created a new layer under the layer 0, where the filter is still applied, you can delete this new layer as well. Now for organizational purposes, select all remaining layers (that contain your frames) and group them (you can see how in the video).

☆ step 11) This step is also optional, now I like to add the coloring to the gif. I have a separate tutorial exclusively on this topic. You can check it here:

☆ step 12) This is the time when I also add my signature. This is optional. You need to have the signature layer(s) on top of all the other layers. I usually have it in all black or all white, with lowered opacity of around 40%.

NOTE:

When adding elements (such as a signature) to a gif, it's important to always make sure you have the first frame selected, otherwise PS can move your newly added elements around the canvas on different and random frames. This also applies to anything in the layers pannel that has specific opacities. It's best to already add the elements with the final wanted opacity with the first frame selected.

Exporting + Delay time

☆ step 13) To export: go to File > Export > Save for web (Legacy). PS will open this box:

First I just use the exporting screen to test the delay time of my gif, and to check the gif's final size.

About the size: The final size is displayed at the bottom left. Remember it needs to be under 10mb. If it's above that, then you will have to go back and delete frames and test again until the size is within the limit.

About the delay time: To test the delay time, hit that play button and the gif will play at it's default delay time. If it's too fast or too slow, you will hit cancel and change the delay time (at the next step).

For actual exporting: The highlighted box at the top right of the screen is very relevant now. Make sure the first box has the GIF option selected. At the next box, you can select either perceptual, selective or adaptive. I usually like to use adaptive. At the next box you need to choose either diffusion or pattern. I like to use pattern. Tick the transparency box and then select either pattern or diffusion transparency dither.

Once you are satisfied with all aspects of your gif, hit save to export your final gif.

To fix the delay time: After you have exited the export box, go back to your timeline, click on the menu button at the top right and select "Select all frames". Then, on any random frame, click at the small arrow next to the numbers under the frame. Select the option "Other". That will open a pop up box to alter the delay time. To test it again, use the export box explained above. Once you are satisfied, save your gif! I've also altered the delay time in my video to show you the process.

☆ step 14) After your gif is done and saved, I'd suggest to save your psd file if you added any coloring to it. This is so you can reuse the coloring later in other gifs without having to redo it all. This is useful if mking a set of gifs from the same moment / video.

He ADORES you; He loves looking at you, watching you do your makeup, he loves it when you show him your outfit. Harold just genuinely thinks that you're really really pretty.

Harold would learn anything and everything he can about Goth Subculture. Like, the moment he realizes that he has a crush on you, he is gonna spend his whole night searching the internet for information to impress you with.

He often thinks about what he would look like if he was Goth, but he's also extremely reluctant to try it out. Although, he'd be secretly ecstatic if you offer to put makeup on him.

He has tried listening to Goth Music before, but he couldn't really get himself into it much. He definitely finds it cool, though, and he enjoys discovering new songs that he thinks you would like. PLEASE make playlists for this man, he doesn't even care if it's genres he actually listens to, the mere fact that you thought of him while listening to music already makes him so happy.

This man would defend you with his life— not as much physically, but he can and will talk anybody's ear off if they call you emo. He would ramble on about all the differences between Emo and Goth Subculture.

To be honest, Harold was probably intimidated by you at first. Like, he thought you looked cool, he was just a little nervous around you.

Once you actually talk to him, he becomes even more nervous— not out of fear, but because WOW, do you look gorgeous up-close. Mans is stuttering so much that you can't even understand what he's trying to say.

He's the type of guy to find some random object at a thrift store or a cool shiny rock, and he would bring it to you and be like "This reminded me of you! :D"

If you like literature or poetry, Harold would write poems for you. Most of it is really sappy and maybe a little cringy but it's cute.

Cemeteries freak him out, but if you like going to them, he would still accompany you. His hands are shaking while you hold them, he's jumping and flinching at every sound that he deems creepy, but he is staying by your side.

Concerts. He's never been to one but he thinks they're awesome and he would be over the moon if you asked him to go to one with you! He'd be happily holding your hand in the crowd. He's also rather tall, so he'll hold your phone for you up high to record the concert.

Harold enjoys celebrating Halloween with you. He has always wanted to dress up like a vampire, it is a childhood dream of his, and he will not admit it until you actually tell him that you wanna dress up as Vampires for Halloween.

He's a patient man but he can't deny the fact that it takes you so long to get ready. Like, if you guys are going to an event with a set time that you should be there by, he's waking you up atleast 2 or 3 hours earlier than the usual time you wake up so you can start getting ready earlier because he does not want to be late— unless it's an event that he doesn't really wanna go to, then take as long as you want.

For the Goth Harold lovers. I don't see enough xReaders for this man, he's one of my favorite characters and I think he deserves some love!! I'd also like to note that I'm not Goth, I tried to do as much research as I can, and also tried to keep some things genera and maybe a little vague because I didn't want to end up offending a group of people. Why ARK: Survival Evolved would be an amazing addition to Dead By Daylight

What IS ARK: Survival Evolved? ARK is a survival game where you tame dinosaurs and mythological/fictional creatures! That's not all you can do, but that's the main gimmick. The game features an awesome soundtrack, by the amazing Gareth Coker, amazing bosses and an amazing antagonist. The game also has some really great lore, that I'd recommend watching Neddy the Noodle's videos on. [Lore Videos and ARK: The Survival Stories [the lore from the Island to Aberration]]

But that's not horror!! Okay, and? Lara Croft, Nicholas Cage, and Dungeons and Dragons are in the game, so what's wrong with a survival game that has some horror elements in it?

Who's the killer gonna be? Edmund Rockwell, of course; he's the main antagonist, I'd say, of the game; more or so becoming a threat to the player in the third, fifth and sixth story-DLC. Think of him in a similar way to Vecna, arrogant, thinks EXTREMELY highly of himself [he literally calls himself a GOD], and he's an intelligent, fun antagonist! He's a British chemist from the 19th century turned giant tentacle-meat-monster. Obviously, we can't just have a gigantic monster with tentacles as the killer, but, the Entity would take him from Aberration, after he's defeated by the player, and give him a body that's better suited for the trials. Kind of like how the Entity gave Chucky the ghost so he could actually hook people. [An added note, he would have voice lines <3] And if this was a skin collaboration, he'd be a legendary for Blight. They suit each other. And there'd be voice lines and a different Mori.

Why would Rockwell even want to join the Fog? Power. Same reason as Vecna. Edmund is a man driven by power, and science. Think about why Wesker is in the Fog; he would join for similar reasons.

Power? I feel like a biological power would be pretty cool, something close to Singularity or Wesker. I'm not too good when thinking about powers and balancing it for the game, but maybe even something to do with his orbs in the Aberration bossfight, which would act similarly to the Unknown's UVX.

Perks? I am not a perk designer, so I sadly cannot think of perk ideas </3.

Chase Theme? Of-fucking-course it has to be his boss theme! Like, not just the theme outright, but a mix of it. They can do so much with the music, especially if they get Gareth Coker involved!

Who are the Survivors gonna be? Helena Walker, an aboriginal Australian palaeontologist [also canon lesbian], would be perfect; she's smart and resilient. She later becomes a Homo Deus in the game, but she'd be an amazing survivor! [and would obviously be taken from before she became a Homo Deus.] And of course Mei Yin Li, a warrior from the Han Dynasty [she's also a lesbian 💪]. She is perfect survivor material; she's a strong, resilient woman who can very well take care of herself. AND, if this is a skin-only collaboration, Helena would be a great skin for Claudette, I think. I think Claud could use a legendary <3. And Mei Yin Li would be a fantastic legendary for Yui Kimura. [Maybe a Santiago skin for Gabriel?? Hmm??? Give him the TEK armour, too?] [Maybe even a legendary Diana skin for Kate ^^]

Perks? Again, I'm not a perk designer.

Map? OHOHOHO, BOY ARE YOU IN FOR A TREAT! Since I want everyone to be taken from the Aberration map, obviously the map should be Aberration! Maybe the Green zone is the actual map and the main building could be the destroyed TEK city! It'd be great, atmospherically, and maybe there could be some creatures around that can be interacted with in a similar way to the Tanuki and the creature in the Dungeon on the D&D map [like light pets chilling around]! The realm would be called something like "The ARK", or "The Broken ARK", and some other areas on the map could be the portals and maybe even a little bit of the blue zone? Obviously, the maps are a bit difficult for me to think about, because how would the borders work, lol? Or the exit gates. But then again, you have to think about the fact that the Entity makes these itself. The Entity would be the one recreating the whole map, so there would be tiles that look funny and maybe the fact that there's generators would make this map look "weird", but just think of the possibilities! If Dvarka can be a map, ARK: Aberration can work, too!

They could even make different variations of the map where one is the green zone, one is the blue zone, one is the red zone, and maybe even the surface would be super cool! I also think some cool environmental features would be awesome like in the red zone, you'd hear Reapers growling, see rumbles, and hear Rockwell's voice echoing quietly. And if they do it this way, having the light pets for the specific zones would be awesome.

Are there any skins or charms that would come with the Chapter or Collab? I personally think a cute implant charm would suffice, and if they do the skins thing, it'd be like Resident Evil where the more you buy, the more charms. The first buy would grant you a Gamma Ascension charm, another would be a Beta Ascension charm, and the last would be an Alpha Ascension charm.

I know this is long, and I apologize for the, probably, incoherent rambling, but I'm very passionate about both of these games, and I think that they'd be perfect for each other. ARK has horror in it. It's not a horror game, but Tomb Raider isn't either, so I think ARK should be able to come into the game. I know I was vague with things, like Rockwell's power, but I'm not a game designer, so I am not qualified enough to think of a balanced, fun power to suit him. And, again, I cannot think about what perks to make. I don't know what perks would work by now and I just cannot think of anything good. So, my apologies. I would love to hear your feedback, and maybe even more ideas!

i hope u dont mind if i structure this like a point by point answer to questions u put in ur tags <3

i feel like im playing the game right. unlike stardew, fields of mistria doesnt make me feel bad for not using every second of the day. i think fom has a nice balance between easy and not too easy

i kinda feel like im going slow and fast at the same time? time during the day passes in a blink of an eye but when i look at the calendar im like still halfway through the season. idk how to feel abt it yet

my time management is so bad 😭😭 im terribly forgetful so i'd like set a goal for the day and a second later i'd be like "wait what" but i dont usually mind cuz i dont feel rushed by the game at all which i really appreciate. i think that mistria places a huge emphasis of getting to know the people and i love that

i like a LOT about the game: the soundtrack (especially the mines music), the aesthetics, character sprites art, environment art, the art in general, i LOVE the characters so much, it feels like everyone has their own thing but you can't tell all of the stuff they're about immediately i think? like i didn't realize Holt made toys until i saw his station in his house, i love environmental storytelling <33 honestly i love that most of them are so kind to you, it's the kind of game i personally needed. i love that the combat is not a clicker and that u gotta watch how the monsters act to figure out the best way to defeat them, i love the set up, i love that the earthquake has lingering consequences on the town and the community. it's a lot of fun <33 ofc i have some criticizms too and stuff to improve but im too tired rnfjsndbd

OH AND THE LORE!!! i need to know more about mistria's lore. especially the magic and all that stuff thats goin on in the mines

i love all of the characters fr, my fav love interesrs are Ryis and Adeline. Ryis is just so sweet and kind and gorgeous, he loves birds, he's from a family of bakers, he has family with a lot of sisters in the capital that send him care packages with cookies, HE LOVES BIRDS (<- it was the thing that had me like "you're the one"bfjsnhdsnbd) just a disney princess type of guy

Adeline just got me in her palms and i'm not even sure why or how exactly yet but all i know is that i walk around her like a puppyfjsnbd she's such a nerd and i adore her, she loves doing paperwork and calls it a "party", she is the heir to the land and she loves taking care of it and its people but forgets to take care of herself and im just like *biggest wettest eyes at her* also pink hair. oh mh god

and like i think all of the other townies are so cool. I love the kids, theyre the cutest and i love seeing them around town doing their thing. i love that we have different models of families like. man i'm so excited for more stuff in this game

omg thanks for your response!! i feel like i relate to many things you said. i haven't played a farming sim before bc i didn't think i would like it. since i would prefer games w some kind of story or lore, i didn't think this game would be for me. really, i had no idea what to expect in the game

i feel like i'm also going slow and fast while playing! the day goes by so so quickly but i also feel like maybe i'm not doing enough. sometimes i'm thinking "why are my crops growing so slowly please grow faster!!!" but then i'm surprised w how quickly they grow. i get up and see my tomatoes and corn ready to be harvested. but for the most part, i feel like i'm going at it too slow. i'm almost done w summer but i just got magic

i relate to what you said about time management. there are some items on a task that i just couldn't find so i do another task. then i just entirely forget to search for that item (like i cannot find seaweed still). then literally TODAY i was in the mines for too long and had to rush home. the next in-game day i went to the mines earlier in the day to not make the same mistake.

the music in the game is amazing! i find myself humming along while playing or humming when i'm doing something else. i'm surprised that i even remember how the music goes. i've played totk for a bit but i can't remember a single song. i love how everyone has different seasonal outfits. i really like how celine has a different outfit in the early morning. (idk if other characters have a different outfit at that time i can't remember). i'm glad i could play the game bc i'm gonna be moving back to school soon and this would be a nice way to take a break from coursework.

i also like how most of the characters are nice to your farmer. i just cannot pick one favorite character. it's too hard for me to bc they are all so lovely 😭. i agree that the kids are cute! i try to give luc a bug each time i see him.

one of the things that i don't like so much is that there is only one place to save. i can't remember if there are other places to save

If I had the energy to write, I would so make a crossover fanfic of Goodbye Volcano High and Bugsnax

It'd just be the main cast from GVH after their game events wake up on Snaktooth island slightly after the journalist arrived, so now on top of trying to get the grumpus all back in town the journalist (and everyone else) also has to be deal a different, unknown species of teenagers who are very frighten (not knowing if they're all dead or not, being away from their families, stuck on an island with body horror and tension from a group of creatures you don't know would be scary).

Also I think the interactions could potentially be cool.

I'd have to take proper notes before trying to come up with anything concrete, but have some ideas from the top of my head (below readmore so this isn't too long)

The GVH gang are unable to eat the Bugsnax (can't swallow them whole, but even if they could they'd get sick from it and wouldn't have the body changing effects.)

Feel like the GVH gang would get sick (mostly figuratively) of eating Sauces, and would look for food everywhere on the island and in the waters; they don't come up with anything and are disappointed (especially Sage, he just wants to cook)

Journalist definitely interviews them all (could be a good writing practice for getting a grasp at how GVH characters speak)

Stella and Shelda would get along either well or well-ish (depending on how Stella would react to Shelda's apartment hypocrisy when or if she noticed)

Trish and Rosa would like helping Gramble out with his pet Bugsnaxs. (However, it's kinda bittersweet cause looking at the Bugsnax makes them miss Mango) (Maybe Mango's on the island, and the Journalist eventually finds her)

Rosa would also like helping Wambus out in his garden, finding the Sauce Fruit fascinating. (Does kinda make Gramble and Wambus fights more awkward for her, since she likes hanging out with both)

On one hand Floofty is kinda a jerk, but on the other hand I feel like Fang, Sage, and Rosa would sorta look up to them for being the oldest non-cis person they've met.

Trish absolutely bombards Floofty with questions about their research on Bugsnax; Floofty would view her similarly to how they view Tiffany. (Trish could offer to help them with their research, currently unsure if Floofty would accept or decline like how they declined Flibo) (The decapitation experiment still happens though, as Trish cannot eat bugsnax)

Floofty would be more excited at the prospect of finding a new sapient species, but the Bugsnax is still messing with their head so it's a more mellowed out excitement.

Snoopy is naturally suspicious of them, doesn't trust them (thinks they were all created by Grumpinati to spy on them).

They'd all get along with Chandlo great, who doesn't like Chandlo.

Fang would relate heavily to Wiggle's passion for music and think she's cool, whereas Fang would remind Wiggle of a younger version of herself (on Wiggle ends, it's kinda both a happy and sad thing.

Tiffany and Naser would crack a lot of jokes together.

Reed tries to start a L&L game on the island with some grumps included (dunno who yet) (if you don't know, L&L is just D&D). It doesn't end well (how don't know, something similar to how Filbos activities end/maybe it was Filbos idea), so the GVH just take to playing L&L amongst themselves.

GVH gang would be nicer to Filbos I think.

It's been a few weeks since you met that dashing skeleton, Stretch, at Grillby's. After taking a few days, you worked your hardest and finally managed to fix up that old barn. Now she looks good as new, and you..need to find something else to do.

You sit in your house, kicking your legs back and forth as you lie on your stomach on your couch. Some random show plays on the tv in front of it you recognize, but you're not really focusing on it since you're facing your left scrolling through your phone. Nothing really sticks out to you, searching for something of interest before you see a little notification pop down from someone. You miss it the first time, pulling down the top of your screen and realizing it's from Stretch.

You sit up abruptly on your knees, shifting to face the tv and letting your legs rest on the wood floor. It's always nice to see what he's up to.

You hop up from your seat on the couch, petting one of your dogs who'd decided to lie down in front of the couch and walking into your room to change.

"Okay, he..he lives on a ranch?? Well, I guess I should've gotten that from the cowboy getup, huh? I should probably wear somethin' I'm okay with gettin' dirty.." You browse through your closet, picking out some casual clothes that'll keep you cool and comfortable in the summer heat.

"Time to go." You walk out of your room, playing some music from the stereo in your living room and giving your dogs some pets before bidding them goodbye. You walk out to your truck and climb inside, turning the key and beginning to drive to the location you set your GPS to. A few familiar songs play while you make your way down several sets of roads. You promptly bop your head to them, lip syncing some of the words.

You knew you were at the right place the moment you saw it. The house was huge based on what you could see from the gate as you drove up to it, plenty of land surrounding it with fences up to keep any unwanted visitors out. You see a familiar shade of orange pop up as the skeleton opens the gate, walking over to your window and leaning his arms on it.

"howdy. glad you could make it, didn't get lost did you?" "Nope, got here a-okay. This place is massive- are you guys loaded or something?" You ask, flabbergasted. He chuckles at that, looking back at the house. "well, it just kinda happened when we exchanged monster currency for human currency. so I guess you could say we are." "Jesus." "you can go ahead and pull up wherever, it doesn't matter." He stands on the step just below your door, holding on. You smile at the action, driving further in and parking in a spot next to someone else's car.

He jumps down onto the ground and lets you get out, closing the door behind yourself and locking it before jumping down too.

You hear a faint "Hello!" in the distance as someone runs over, grinning wide. A skeleton, a pretty large one at that yet shorter than Stretch. His attire is pretty similar to the former, only his is buttoned up much more neatly and is blue rather than orange. Stretch's top button is currently loose, exposing a little bit of his sternum. You also notice how the two stick to one color scheme, Stretch sticking with orange and this one sticking to blue specifically.

"you're in luck, they just got here." "Yes, I'm Not Late! Hello, There! I'm Stretch's Brother, Blue. We Live Together Close To Some Of Our Friends." "It's nice to meet you, Blue. I'm.." You tell him your name, and the two of you chat about this and that before Stretch steals you away to show you around. You both walk around different parts of the ranch before you decide to go and visit the animals, saying hello to each of them promptly.

"You have so many horses-" "like. ten of them." "JESUS-" You pause, looking towards one, before turning back to him with a smile.

"..what?" He raises a brow, smiling as well with crossed arms as he observes you. "..Can we ride one?" "..you want to ride one?" "Yes- please-" "i mean, yeah, i don't see why not. though, we'd probably have to ride together. are you okay with that? if not, i can figure something out." "I'm okay with that. Won't bother me." "alright, just gimme a sec."

You wait patiently as he goes to get a proper saddle, walking over to a few horses and letting them smell your hands so they know to trust you. One in particular takes a liking to you, a black horse with a stripe of white from its muzzle to its forehead. It nuzzles its nose against the side of your head until Stretch returns, smiling as he walks over.

"somebody's attached. no, you can't bring the horse home with you." "Aww-" You fake pout, before smiling and gently petting its head. "but, you can come back to visit." "You bet I will." A determined look crosses your face. "you wanna ride this one?" He points with his thumb. "Yes- if they are okay with that, of course."

He nods, and after a few seconds the horse is saddled and ready to go.

"so, you're gonna have to sit in front of me. is that alright?" "Yeah, that's fine." "alright, cool."

He helps you get up onto the horse first. It's a bit of a strange sensation at first, but you gradually get used to it. He then climbs up and sits comfortably behind you and the saddle, gently taking hold of the reins. Feeling his arms around your waist has you feeling a bit flushed, your face heating up a bit as you hope he doesn't notice.

"comfortable?" He speaks calmly so as to not spook the horse, his head just above your shoulder. A shiver goes down your spine accompanied by an anxious smile. "Y- ..Yeah, I'm all good." You mutter, cursing yourself internally for stuttering as you hear him chuckle behind you. You don't realize at first when the horse starts to move before you snap out of a daze, looking ahead with a smile.

You feel..safe with his arms around you, even as you're very flushed. You can just blame it on the heat if he asks. What you don't know, however, is that he seems to be fairly flushed himself..a bright shade of orange lightly making its way over his cheekbones. He keeps his lazy smile as he looks over you, making sure you're alright and comfortable.

Blue has a cheeky grin as he watches you both ride around the field, leaning his arms on one of the fences.

His hold on your waist tightens a little when the horse picks up its speed, causing your face to heat up even more before that feeling is overcome by excitement. You cheer as it runs, carrying you both around.

This continues for a little while before both the two of you and the horse become tired. Stretch slides off and helps you jump down, guiding the horse back to where it can rest.

"That was fun! I wouldn't mind doing it again." "..maybe you can, next time you come over." "Yeah." You avert your eyes, your face admittedly still a little flushed. You can't fully bring yourself to meet his gaze until he reaches up to get some grass out of your hair.

"i wouldn't mind." He smirks, his eyes relaxed as he looks at you. You clear your throat. "Yeah, uh..looking forward to it." You smile in return as Blue walks over to greet you both.

"Why Don't You Guys Come Inside? I'd Love For You To Stay For Dinner. We Can Talk More!" He suggests with a friendly smile. You look over briefly at Stretch for a moment before turning back to him.

"Yeah, I'm cool with that. I'd better get home before dark, though. I've got dogs waiting at home for me." "you have dogs?" Stretch perks up, curious. "Yeah, two." "i wanna pet 'em-" "Well, maybe you can visit me next."

He grins as Blue guides you both inside, gently closing the door behind him.

Today's modding shenanigans!

Today I wanted to test out ACM a bit :D I think I'd most enjoy using it as an additional tool for making custom outfits and seeing how different item appearances work together, less as my primary tool to creating custom outfits as such (also, it is a bit buggy for me and I can't seem to export appearances reliably for some reason).

Since you can alter custom appearances with it too, though, you could definitely mod one "base outfit" and then change the colors spontaneously for a different vibe (for example, I could make an apperance for Kerry wearing one t-shirt and then change the shirt decal or color on the fly in game without cluttering his .app file with a dozen different appearances that are virtually the same just different colors!). Wondering though if there exists a resource that lists every item's appearance names (cause some are super specific and hard to guess, like... instead of "black" or "smiley-face" you have appearances like "6th street" or "black_capsules") for this purpose... and if not, I'll probably make one just because I would find it useful to have xD

Also, ACM is really neat for taking off Kerry's jewelry on the fly for certain pics XD Or changing nail colors and things like that! In all these regards this is a super useful resource as is already, but I'm excited where the mod makers will take it :D (also... random sidenote, but can we talk about Dante for a moment? I'm a little bit in love, and I need his shirt not only for Kerry but also for Vince XD).

Then some silly behind the scenes stuff xDD @netcess said that Reed really needs a party outfit with a cool hat, so I put something quick and simple together for her and... I wanted to take a pic and as I went into Photomode, Vince spawned straight across from Reed and looked so disappointed at him partying without him when so many pressing issues are at hand XD Just really fun little moment I wanted to capture, intensified by facepalm XD

Honestly he rocks it XD Might make a recolor to fit his suit when the mood strikes xD

And finally: who wore it better? XD

No but I actually tried my hand at editing this hair mesh for Kerry, cause it was clipping a bit here and there! This is done super quick and dirty like... In theory I know I could export his headmesh and then fit it exactly to that, but for now this aint so bad already actually! :D No more clipping into the side of his head and the hairline in the front looks better. I left out Johnny's hair cap and all that because I wanted to go for a really really short, very freshly shaved look for this like...

Something he would've done at the end of his tour right before coming back to Night City. Keeping the long hair consistent for all concerts. And as I said, I 100% get why he has that look, like... It has old, seasoned rocker vibes, it's so much less clean and more himself than his 2077-appearance like... natural hair color, not styled at all, embracing himself again with the whole "I'm gonna name my next album "Kerry Eurodyne" and go back to my roots thing, he looks like he just came off stage, sweaty and tousled, so... yes!! I do love it for all those reasons, but idk... I feel like, it's also at the same time something low maintenance that he doesn't have to pay a lot of mind to, escaping into his music and career after apparently losing V. And I think with the tour over and with getting V back so unexpectedly, he'd change things up a bit again. It's a concert/tour look for me. And this style is also low maintenance, while still Kerry, still rebellious, but a little more cleaned-up, in control of his life, if that makes sense?

@pinkyjulien sorry for stealing your tags from my other post, but you put it into words so well, on point!!

Especially your last point, cutting/shaving your hair to mark a new beginning is 100% such a thing he'd do!! So yeah, I think I'll stick with this for his two-years-plus-four-months-later look xD
