Most of the stuff I write is very lighthearted, with many intentional-ambiguous bits mixed in.

With that in mind, if I had to pick a fic that is pure fluff, it'd be Idée Fixe [Yandere(?)Lyney x Reader]. My initial idea was a bit darker but somehow it spiralled into unabashed fluff. I still do think it can be seen as the prelude to a more Yandere-esque Lyney. Idée Fixe was written before Fontaine release, so, characterization wise it only focuses on the whimsical exterior of Lyney. But I'm quite certain this one is capable of making any reader feel warm :>

I'm not the most enthusiastic about angst (especially hurt/no comfort), unless I'm in a certain mood. Because to be completely honest, I run this blog to escape the angst of real life to begin with lol. But, I think Jeux de Vagues [Yandere!Neuvillette x Reader] can count as a somewhat angst fic I've written — primarily because of Neuvillette and Reader's ‘fate’. I like to say it's the culmination of all the pre-release and after-release studies I'd done on his character with my anons. There's a separate trivia post for this fic as well!

I have two notable AUs to speak of, both of which have received love far beyond my expectation. First is the canon divergent Vampire!Alhaitham AU, wherein I suffered from about three months of brainrot till I couldn't stand it anymore and wrote it down. It took me a good chunk of discussions to find the footing for his characterization here. Funny thing is that 80% of the warnings listed are all in one concept discussion post, the rest is just Alhaitham being a dork lol. Second is the Sumeru Love Hexagon AU. Roots of creation very self-indulgent, but the concept is firmer from the beginning on this one :>

I do selfship (and I think it should be normalized more) but I haven't really posted something that explicitly conveys it. Every idea that I personally put on the table of your dash is guaranteed to be self-indulgent, just that it's packaged in such a way that it loses the 'self' of the shipping — if that makes any sense lol

Hmm.. I'm currently lost for genres so I'll just make up one : a fic that made me go ‘do I really want to do this’ multiple times would be Curtain Call [Yandere!Sunday x Reader]. Initially I only planned to write a drabble but since it won a poll, I wanted to do something different. Curtain Call is more of an experimentation with plot twists, so, I was glad to hear the desired feedback on this one ପ(๑•ᴗ•๑)ଓ ♡

first of all: besties pls don't worry about your content, because I literally came for aki and stayed for the fact that you genuinely seem a wholesome person, so pls don't hesitate to post anything that isn't strictly related to aki or gale, just do what you want, because I am sure I and the other will love it! (and pls I love self ships! I have discovered this world so late but ugh I am absolutely curious to learn more about it) (although journaling is honestly very relaxing, at least to me!).

secondly I'd just like to say that I'll be the one staying up tonight imagining scenarios instead of aki, since you mentioned that #honestly I think he's decently good at hiding when he's flustered#he might seem cool on the outside#but on the inside. he wants to scream because you just held his hand.

this is totally not me projecting (but I am) but as somebody who's unable NOT to wear her heart on their sleeves, I feel like he'd be freaking outside while I'd be outwardly being the most awkward person with a crush.

also for me it's usually a huge turn off when guys don't make their emotions/interest clear on dates or such (because I am insecure and needs clear confirmation) but I feel like with aki it'd be impossible not to feel that he cares for you, although he probably has a good poker face. like I feel like it'd definitely be shown more in gestures but ugh. (ALSO NOT THE WHOLE RAIN THING, IT'D BE SO CUTE! I am also imagining denji being like 'I saw you packing your umbrella, what are you saying' and aki literally throwing his umbrella out of the window 'I never did, denji, you are mistake).

also one last thing and then I'll shush, but for horny brain: what if his bookworm! reader partner was into erotic books? (again not me projecting because I am reading something by anais nin). like I need to know what his reaction would be at maybe taking your book while you are off somewhere and scrolling through it in curiousness and just coming to the realization of what is the content?

I feel like he might definitely break through the poker face and would definitely be unable to look at you in the eyes for seven working days without thinking about reproducing what he read.

it's once again the anon that sent the massive ass paragraphs rambling about the punisher after i finished watching it. i feel like i should either just un-anonymise myself or give myself a name or something to make it easier to identify myself?? but idk?? i'm still new to tumblr so i dunno how these things work

anyways, just wanted to say, i also am just so happy that they are taking the reboot seriously!! i only really got into like the daredevil/punisher in like the past year or so. so i feel like i don't really have the same grounds to stand on as some longer term fans but i just remember being so disappointed with karen/foggy originally not being part of born again so i'm so so glad that that changed and we have the true trio back. and frank being in it just makes me SO happy because i have become incredibly incredibly attached to frank (it might be a little unhealthy but big strong men who are morally questionable is my type haha)

i totally agree with season 2 feeling rushed, it definitely felt like some of the plots were supposed to be fleshed out more or like storylines would have carried on into a season 3 and billy not being fucked up enough is SO FUCKING REAL. like frank literally BRUTALISED him but he comes out looking okay?? like idk?? it just doesn't look convincing i feel like ben barnes' acting is good and he plays the subtle psycho (though you're right, him being more outwardly bloodthirsty and vengeful would have been AMAZING) but the visuals don't hit right. but this is such a wider issue with pretty actors in hollywood?? especially cause they also did it when he played the darkling in shadow and bone. i dunno if you ever watched shadow and bone but like his character should have been way more scarred but they just didn't make it as brutal as it probably would have been in reality and it makes me so mad because i just don't understand why??

AND THE WILL THING, LITERALLY, WHEN HE FIRST CAME ON SCREEN, I LOOKED AT HIM AND WAS LIKE 'is that?? is that WILLIAM LAMONTAGUE??' and then everytime he came on and was being psycho, i was like 'someone get jj to sort her husband out' and also this is so DUMB but i love to think that this is what will was doing during criminal minds and that's why we never see him, he was just off being pilgrim and terrorising frank, obviously it doesn't really work timeline wise BUT the thought of it just makes me laugh so it is now my headcanon.

I HAVE FOUND ANOTHER MADANI LOVER. that makes me so BEYOND ECSTATIC. i'm not too sure about how you see Teyvat with mermaids but listen. what if mermaid!reader who finds greater appeal in developing erudition than drowning humans for fun? (unfortunate in it's own way if alhaitham happened to be the one time they tried to do so)

like do mermaids have magic like the witches on the surface?? alchemists??? mermaid!reader being either of the above but being really good at what they do. so imagine all the unknowns of the surface and alhaitham being the one opening they have to explore it

i'm loving this idea that reader and alhaitham engage in a battle of wits all the time (or annoying each other) and that's a huge part of their dynamic.

(also as a side note. would something like mermaid scales be worth a lot on the surface? the lore seems to suggest that intelligent beings aligned with an element are often physically imbued with a lot of elemental energy? possibly sells good for alchemy, magic, medicine, etc depending on how you see it? just a food for thought :) )

okay so in the mermaid au, I hc that most mermaids are of the classic drowning/luring humans to death kind. I mentioned offhandedly in pt2 that some were interested in the human world though! and of course each mermaid would have their own opinions on humans, which can change depending on their own experiences. ex: the current mermaid!reader and whatever they've got going on atm is mostly due to alhthm having soundproof earpieces + the fact that he knows their kind-of-forgotten (to humans) language. I'd say mermaid!reader would also have to have at least a little innate curiosity and interest to the human world in order to agree to the deal. ugh I kind of wish I made this series into full fics so I could've expanded on this more (๑′̥̥̥▵‵̥̥̥ ૂ๑) but if not for the circumstances, mermaid!reader would've been more like the one in this ask

I did think about a sea witch, but it was irrelevant to the current storyline so... LOL anyways. it wasn't going to be like a ursula-type sea witch but more along the lines of hexenzirkel/lisa/signora. since their tails become legs when completely dry, it's very possible to go on land to study human alchemy and stuff, but otherwise they don't have any special magic other than their very alluring siren song. oh! but they are immune to hydro, like hydro slimes (but hotter) ₍ᐢ. ̫.ᐢ₎

this isn't set in stone for this au but, mermaids originate from the dark sea (ik it isn't actually a sea, but it's technically anywhere outside the rule of The Seven, so let's just assume there are also oceans). they're an ancient race that existed alongside the seelie, and after witnessing the destruction of the entire race because of the one human/seelie marriage, that's when they started drowning humans just in case. and then it just continued on for forever.

ok I've been thinking about this next part a lot haha. yes! their scales can be used in alchemy (another reason to drown humans ig lmao) but since mermaid scales are rare and hard to come by as it is + they haven't been seen in so long, most modern alchemists just don't know about it. also I wanted to incorporate irl lore from some folktales that say mermaids grant wishes. so some humans believe that based on old legends but I haven't decided yet if they actually can or what the criteria would be if they could.

honestly i have half a mind to make a spinoff(?) series afterwards maybe that has more plot and lore and angst, since rn I'm currently just building their relationship(??) but I'm glad you enjoy their dynamic because I love writing banter, it's one of the easiest things for me to write !

to be honest, i literally have no idea when the next part will come out. right now i'm kinda working on my thesis since that'll be due at the end of november, but once i get my rough draft done and submitted, it'll likely be smooth sailing from there. i've worked a little on wonwoo's part, but usually it takes me a while to sit down and commit to writing UtS since its a lot more work than other series are imo (there's a reason it comes out a lot more sporadically--writing for all thirteen members is exhausting when it's guaranteed to be a longer fic like all of the parts of UtS are. i literally have no idea how the first couple parts are relatively closer together)

I finally finished the main quest for enkanomiya! I already expected that enjou would be the fire abyss lector but it was very cool twist. "the thing that calls itself enjou" sounds so creepy and cool at the same time😭 he was a little annoying to fight tho especially when the mages appeared :,) only Kaeya survived in the end 💪

Im so excited for 2.5! Have you seen ayato? I also thought that Kazuha would have a rerun in 2.5 and hes not so now my primos are in danger. All of my girlfriends will be on the banners of 2.5, Ayato will probably come in 2.6 and I also want him and Kazuha will probably come after that:,) I really don't know who to wish for at this point!!!
