Previously under-appreciated plant post: undocumented glow up edition! (By that I mean I don’t have good baby photos of these two)

First is as close to an impulse buy as I’ll get, a “gryphon/Pegasus” hybrid begonia I got at the end of last summer. She was brutalized by squirrels/sparrows/who the hell knows what during her last days outside this fall, and brought inside to endure an uncertain fate. Long story short, she’s thriving and I love her. Hand for scale on the leaves, they’re pretty sizable, and the glow they get when the sun hits them just so… *chef’s kiss*

Last photos are of my ludisia discolor. She’s doubled in size (understatement?) and is still blooming for a month and then some. I waited too late to repot: there’s a stem growing out a drain hole now. Yet another thing to take care of next month…
