I think some people forgot the only thing bad about “playersexual” games is when it’s “straight unless the player made them gay” (or vice versa I guess but idk that I’ve seen that around)

Saw a little while ago someone calling bg3 a playersexual game, I don’t even remember who but I’m not getting into debate over it and honestly didn’t even finish reading the long post, but the main point of what I did read was that Larian wanted everything decided by the player, including romance. Which meant it was playersexual which meant it was bad?

Which yes if it ended there that could be the bad playersexual style

But they didn’t end it there? They made every character queer, they actively comment on their attraction of (or even have flirty banter with) the other party members of both genders

Hearing “I never liked guys until I met you” is bad playersexual, having your husband be labeled as “wife” because you can only play as a man is bad playersexual, but your entire party being horny for each other is not. That’s just being in the queerest group of people you’ve ever been allowed to see in a popular game.

And let’s be real, tadpole or no, queers run in packs.
