Co Parents To Lovers Again (part 3)
Pairing: Charles Leclerc x reader
Warnings: fluff, smut this is the last part so I hope you enjoy it!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
part 2
It would be an understatement to say that Charles was over the moon when you and Louise showed up in the paddock on the race day. He was so delighted and happy that he had a hard time hiding it, and everyone present could see it.
He didn't separate from Lou, and he thanked you several times for bringing her and for coming with her telling you how much that meant to him.
Of course, you both attracted the attention of all the media, knowing that tomorrow the main news on the internet will be how Charles' ex-girlfriend appeared with his daughter in the paddock for the first time after a full year since the breakup.
The cameras were everywhere, but having learned from previous experiences, you decided to ignore them and pretend they didn't exist. All you were focused on was giving your daughter an unforgettable weekend and supporting Charles as well.
Lou got hungry so you and Charles decided to get her something to eat at the Ferrari hospitality. Lou didn't know what she wanted to eat, so Charles decided to leave his things at your table, including his phone, and said he would go with her to the restaurant to choose. While Lou went with Charles, you sat down at the table and scrolled through your phone waiting for them to come back.
“Am I seeing things or is it really y/n?” A very familiar voice asked you, making you look up from your phone.
“Carlos!” You smiled from ear to ear as you stand up to hug him.
“It’s been some time since I’ve seen you in the paddock. How come you’re here?” He asks curiously.
“Lou had a hard time accepting that she wouldn't be spending this weekend with her dad, so...yeah, here we are.”
“Oh man, he’s gonna beat my ass on the track today..” Carlos says shaking his head.
“What do you mean?” You laugh a little unsure of what he’s talking about.
“He always gives 110% on the track when Lou is there to support him, I can only imagine what it’ll be like today when you are there too.”
The two of you started catching up talking about what was new in your lives, what wasn't, and so on, until Carlos commented on Charles and Lou's relationship, saying that he really loves spending time with her and that he talks about her nonstop.
“She loves spending time with him too, he is her soulmate I’m sure.” You commented.
“And what about you? Is he your soulmate too?” Carlos asked catching you off guard.
Both you and Charles were close to Carlos and he pretty much knew everything about you and your relationship. He was also very angry with you when you broke up because he thought it was a bad decision and that you should have worked on your relationship and not give up on it so easily.
“I-I..” As you were trying to think of an answer to his question, at that very moment the screen of Charles's phone, which he had left on the table in front of you, lit up.
What caught your attention wasn't the notification he received, but your eyes got stuck on the wallpaper on his lock screen. It was a picture of you and Lou that Charles had taken shortly after you had given birth and came home from the hospital. You were lying on the bed and Lou was lying on your chest while you kissed her head.
It was a picture that was very dear to both you and Charles, and he had it as his wallpaper since the day he took it, and what surprised you the most was that he still had it to this day. Even though you were no longer together, he never changed it.
Carlos noticed what you were staring at and he basically took it as an answer to his question although he had already knew it.
“Uncle Carloss!!” Lou screamed with her mouth full of pizza as Charles carried her in his arms over to the table where Carlos and you were sitting.
“Hola, hermosa! Did you get hungry?” Carlos chuckled squeezing her cheek.
“Out of all the possible foods you can think of, my baby chose pizza.” Charles laughed sitting her down on the chair next to you.
You were completely lost in your thoughts and didn't even pay attention what the three of them were talking about. All you could think about was the picture you saw on Charles's phone and how you were getting closer to confessing your still deeply held feelings for him.
And of course today was just as Carlos said it would be. Not only did Charles beat Carlos’ ass on the track, but he also beat all the other drivers by proudly and deservedly taking P1. He couldn't let the win slip through his fingers in front of the two most important people in his life so he fought extra hard for it today.
When it was time to celebrate, your eyes filled with tears at how proud you were of him. First he celebrated with the team, then his eyes searched for you and Lou.
“You wanna congratulate daddy, baby?” You asked her and she nodded excitedly.
You pushed your way towards Charles with her in your arms and when you reached him he instantly hugged her and kissed her on the forehead.
“Good job, daddy!” She said.
“Thank you, baby. This one was for you.” He told her kissing her once again.
“Congratulations, Charles. We’re really proud of you.” You say softly smiling at him tears threatening to run down your cheeks.
“Thank you, y/n. Thank you for being here.” He said looking deep into your eyes.
The cameras went crazy over your family moment, closely capturing every interaction between you. It won't be until the next day when you see one of the taken photos of the two of you that it will become completely clear to you how your eyes are betraying you and showing how deeply and obviously in love you are with each other.
When the day was coming to an end, you didn't stay in the paddock any longer, but immediately got on the plane and flew to Monaco, all three of you together. Lou was completely exhausted and when you landed she was already asleep. Charles didn't offer but instead insisted on driving you to your apartment no matter how tired he was.
Charles, carefully so as not to wake her, carried her in his arms into her room and put her to bed. He kissed her goodnight before closing the door and going into the living room thinking he would say goodnight to you too.
“She’s sleeping like a log.” Charles chuckles quietly as he stands in front of you.
“Poor thing, she was so tired. She passed out as soon as we sat in the plane.”
“But I'm glad you came. Both of you. It really meant a lot to me to have you there.”
“I’m glad too. We had a lot of fun. Maybe we can come again sometime.” You say making him smile.
“Anytime you want” He says feeling that the conversation is slowly coming to an end. He wants to continue it so bad, but he knows that both of you are tired and with a heavy heart he has to leave, even though he would rather lie in bed with you now and hold you close to him all night.
“Okay, I’m gonna go now. It’s getting really late.” He says running his hand nervously through his hair while you bite the inside of your cheek so desperately wanting him to ask you if he can stay. “See you soon, yeah? Good night”
Before he turns around to head for the door, you decide that enough is enough. There have been so many obvious signs by now that it's not over between you and that you're still madly in love with each other that you don't want to waste another second being stubborn, but rather surrender to the moment and finally enjoy it.
“Or you can stay the night here..you know..i-if you want to” You blurt out stuttering the last part.
He turns slowly towards you. His expression is unreadable until he places his hands on your cheeks and asks you “Do you want me to stay?”
Without much hesitation, you nod your head and quietly say “I do.”
Initially, it was as if you were afraid to approach each other, as if you were afraid of each other's reaction even though both of you were hoping that the desire was mutual. Then his lips slowly and cautiously began coming closer and closer to yours.
At first, your lips just brushed, pulling back a little, and then they connected into a long, passionate and deep kiss that you both had been eagerly waiting for.
You felt like a huge weight had been lifted off your shoulders as you let out deep breaths in relief you didn't even know you were holding in.
Things were moving quickly and you didn't waste any time getting to your bedroom. You wrapped your legs around his waist as he picked you up and without breaking the kiss, carried you into the room and laid you down on the bed.
Exhaustion was long forgotten when you took each other's clothes off and started kissing every part of each other’s body.
“I missed you, I missed you so much you don’t even know” He said into the kiss, barely catching his breath from the intense excitement he felt.
“I missed you too, Charles” You half whisper as he pushes into you and one tear rolls down the side of your face.
It felt so good. He felt so good inside you, fit so perfectly like he was made for you. He wanted to make love to you, to show you how much he cares about you so he kept going on and on making your legs shake so many times throughout the night, kissing every inch of your body, pulling you closer to him to calm you down, breathing in your scent and getting lost in your eyes.
“I’m gonna cum, baby” His voice trembled as he rested his forehead against yours and pulled his cock out of you cumming all over your stomach, hands free, then pushing himself back in and wincing.
You fell asleep with him holding you close all night. His arms were hugging you so tightly, as if he was afraid that if he let go even just for a second, he would wake up and it would all be just a dream.
The morning sun's rays didn't let you sleep past eight, so you spontaneously woke up together still in the same position you fell asleep in.
“Good morning ma cherie” He said with a kiss to your lips.
“Morning baby” You smiled caressing his cheek with your thumb. “Did you sleep well?”
“Mhm, very well” He murmurs against your skin. “And you?”
“Me too. I haven't slept this peacefully in a long time.”
“Yeah, baby?”
“Yeah” You glance at the clock out of the corner of your eye and see that it's almost time for Lou to wake up. “Oh shit, Charles you need to leave, Lou is about to wake up” You say nervously, which completely confuses Charles.
“What? What do you mean I need to leave? Why can’t she know that I’m here?”
“It's not that she can’t know it’s just that I want us to take it slow this time. I'm afraid of screwing this up because it feels so good and so right and I don't know if I could handle us hurting each other again.” You sigh as you explain your reasons to him. “And most of all, I don't want to break Lou's heart.”
He pauses for a moment to think about what you just said and realizes that it makes sense and that you're right. “Okay, baby. Don’t worry we’ll take things slow to make it right this time.” After all, he just wants to fulfill all your wishes and wants to make you happy with whatever you want. “So when do I get to see you again?” He asks and you laugh at his silly question. “What?” He asks confused.
“It's funny that you ask me that. You can see us whenever you want. It's just for a short time until we see how things develop and then of course we'll live together again.”
“I can’t wait for that.”
Soon he got out of the bed and got dressed. He kissed you barely breaking away from you before heading out of the bedroom. The door to Lou's room was open and so he walked slowly on his tiptoes, not wanting to wake her up.
But he realized that was in vain when, passing by her room, he heard “Daddy?!” He stopped in his tracks, squeezing his eyes shut and cursing quietly under his breath.
She’d already seen him and he couldn't leave now or get out of the situation in any way, so he decided to go into her room and say good morning to her.
“Hey, baby. Good morning”
“What are you doing here?! Did you sleep here?!” She didn't know what to ask him first from how happy she was that it was morning and he was there.
When the two of them appeared at your bedroom door, it was clear to both you and Charles that from that moment on, you were all living together again.
“Hi there” Charles said holding her in his arms and looking at you.
You didn't say anything, you just covered your face with your hands and started laughing before you uncovered the quilt and said "come here, both of you"

Lucky Star
max verstappen x reader
warnings: PDA?? breaking up??? curse words,
summary: upgrades to his car were fine, but having his lucky star in the lone star was even better
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Max had not won a race since June, many fans believed it was because of the breakup between him and his now ex Kelly, but no one really knew why his demeanour that was unfazed and really not up for fun changed over the summer break.
You did though, that’s because you were what changed. You had officially met Max at the Monaco Grand Prix a few months back. You were not new to the F1 world, having been to a few races in the past. You had a very strong love for the sport and went whenever it was possible. You had been invited by RedBull for your work in Tag Heuer- one of their biggest sponsors.
As a designer for one of the most expensive watch brands, you got paid very well, being able to live in the principality yourself, but not many people knew who you were, and you were more than okay with that. You lived yourself as you wanted, without the opinions you couldn’t care less about flooding your comment section.
“And this is Y/N from Tag Heuer. She’ll be in the garage this weekend.” Christian introduced you to Max. “Max, nice to meet you.” He shook your hand with a smile. You shook his hand with a greeting of your own. “Are you ready for this weekend?” You followed up, politely. “I hope so.” He laughed in his natural fashion. “It’s hard to overtake here, let’s hope you don’t have to.” You joked back and he looked almost happy you had an idea on what you were talking about. “You know in the chicane….”
That was the first time you met Max, you had small conversations throughout the weekend, but not enough to leave a lasting impression, or so you thought. Over the summer, Tag Heuer was creating a custom version of their Monaco watch for Max himself, and to the company, it only made sense that it was designed in Monaco, by the new head of design that lived in Monaco…you.
You walked into the back room of the store setting up for the appointment that was scheduled in a few moments. Nothing in you thought Max, who met people everyday would remember you, especially after his public breakup with Kelly and lack of a race winning car following Spain.
“Y/N?” You looked up from your iPad to see Max walking in. “It is indeed. How are you?” Max seemed to go through the formalities and the extent of designing the watch easily, but you could tell something else was on his mind. “Well, this isn’t too far off the original design, only a few colour changes. It should be ready in a few months time.” You said walking out of the office with him in tow. “I’m sure you know if you have any questions you can always call.” You ended your speech. Max nodded looking out the glass doors before looking back at you.
“I do have one question.” He started and you nodded at him to continue. “Would you want to have lunch with me?” He asked softly, a blush rising to his cheeks. You smiled at the question, of course you would love to, but until you handed these papers off and your process was done, that was a very strict…
“Max, I would love too,” you started softly, and Max was smart enough to know where your tone of voice was heading, “but until this,” she waved the small iPad, “is out of my hands, you know I can’t.” You finished telling him and he looked at the iPad like he would another car on track.
“How long?” The look on your face said enough about your confusion. “Until this,” he pointed, “is out of your hands?” you but your lip to keep your chuckle at bay. “Maybe two, even three weeks.” You admitted. “I’ll wait then.” He promised. “Max, not to say I’m not flattered, but we’ve had a handful of conversations in the past, months ago even, when you had a girlfriend, is this even a smart thing for you to do?”
Max seemed mildly taken aback. “You may have a point,” he nodded his head, “but I enjoyed our conversations a lot, I didn’t feel like Max Verstappen the world champion, I just felt like Max.” He reasoned and it was one you couldn’t argue. With a slight chuckle you agreed, “Three weeks it is.”
You had actually managed to get to Switzerland and set the watch into work within two weeks, but when you told Max, he had been in Ibiza with Lando and Martin Garrix. You two talked as much as you could over the time zone, and by the time you finally met up for your date, it felt natural, like you had done it plenty of times before.
Over the course of the next few months you and Max spent whatever free time he had in his apartment. You never minded just sitting on his couch while he streamed with Redline or just winded down, you simply enjoyed each others company. At first Max didn’t know how to attend to you, he was used to having to go out almost every day, buy things, order other stuff, or just constantly be running in his relationships. After you had told Max you didn’t need anything from him other than himself he relaxed and you two were better than ever.
You hadn’t been to any more races since becoming Max’s girlfriend. You were in the process of designing a new watch, and that took a lot of your time.
Austin was the first race of the triple header Max had made you promise you would attend. You were happy you did as well. You had watched Max win anything for the first time since Spain. You wiped the small tears that went down your cheek as you watched from the pit-lane but more filled at every wipe.
You watched as he got out of his car and ran to his crew that congratulated him. You hadn’t seen Max smile this much at a race in a long time. Despite having interviews- that Max didn’t care for- he came running to you and with no thought in his head and kissed you, shielding most of the kiss with his water bottle. “I love you.” He whispered and you knew the tears were no longer from his win. “I love you.” You recited back to him and he kissed you again smiling as he pulled away before running off to his interview.
After making your way from the pit lane and into the garage Christian patted your shoulder, “I think you should be around more often.”

Some people keep saying that the hardest part of pregnancy is the first trimester, some say that the hardest part is actually giving birth because, well – it’s quite literally pushing a baby from right there. But to you, the hardest part is not the nausea, or the possible pain of giving birth, or the sleepless nights to come, no. To you, the hardest part is deciding on what to name your baby. Everyone around you seems to have an opinion on what to name the baby, of course, and with the increasing amount of (sometimes uncalled) suggestions coming from you from all around, you and Charles find yourselves in the middle of a never ending game of name the baby.
“Alfred?” Charles suggests, raising his head from his phone.
The suggestion gets a groan, you shake your head to let him know that it’s definitely not the name. “Excuse me, are we about to raise Batman’s butler?”
“Good point,” he nods his head, “we are Marvel people anyway.”
“You guys are useless at this, you know that right?” Arthur scoffs, raising an eyebrow at the two of you. “Why don’t you wait until the baby is actually born? Many people say that it’s easier to name a baby that way.”
“And how do you know these people?” Charles asks, eyes narrowing at the edges.
Arthur raises his hands on the either side of his face in mock surrender. “Touché.” He takes a moment to think, “Why do you only looking at boy’s names? I thought you didn’t want to learn the gender until the birth.”
“We don’t,” you affirm, slowly perching yourself on the barstool next to Charles, “Charles just thinks that it’s going to be a boy.”
Arthur watches as his older brother nods while smiling proudly, then shares a look with you which screams, He knows there’s a fifty-percent chance, right? You shake your head as you shrug, turning your attention back to your phone. “Oh, oh! What about Luka?”
“Luka,” Charles repeats, and tests the name coming out of his lips, “Luka Leclerc?” His watches as you give him a bright smile as you nod repeatedly.
“It does have a nice ring to it,” Arthur comments from his place on the couch as he abandons the book filled with baby names in his hands.
“Luka.” Charles repeats the name again, but as he looks into your expectant eyes, he can feel a nudging at the back of his mind. Luka, Luka, Luka – has he met someone with the same name before? Well, probably, he thinks. He does meet a lot of people during his day to day life, not to mention the race weekends. He decides to let go of the worry, establishing in his mind that he probably met a fan with the same name– “No, chérie! We can’t use Luka!”
“What?” You ask him with a small pout on your lips, “Why not?”
“You dated a guy named Luka, remember?” He reminds you, expecting you to catch onto what he’s saying. “Chérie, it was right before we dated!” You look at him in confusion as you try to piece what he’s saying together, but Charles just looks at you in disbelief, “I can’t believe you want to name our baby after a guy you dated!”
“But–” You start, eyebrows furrowing together as you try and make yourself remember. “That can’t be true.”
“I’m telling you,” Charles turns to Arthur, raises his eyebrows as he looks at his brother for support, “Arthur tell her that I’m correct.”
Arthur chooses to throw him the pillow he takes from behind him. “How should I know the guy she dated before you, you idiot?”
“Would it kill you to be on my side for a change?” Charles deadpans.
You tune out the rest of their argument, still trying to remember whether Charles is actually correct or not – the pregnancy hormones definitely not helping you on your case. “Wait!” You exclaim, making both of the brothers to turn towards you. “I never dated a guy named Luka,” you raise a finger towards Charles to shut him up before he even gets a chance to speak, “let me rephrase that. I never dated a guy named Luka, because the last guy I went on a date with before we got together was Lucas.”
Charles’ voice is tentative as he asks “Lucas?”
“Yes, you idiot.” You roll your eyes at him, “Why would I try to name our baby after a guy I went on one date with?”
Arthur nods in support of you, “You have to admit you overreacted, Charles.”
“Okay, you? You zip it.” Charles snaps at his brother and then turns to you. “I’m sorry, chérie, but I thought it was Luka.”
“Well it wasn’t,” you cross your arms over your chest, “and don’t tell your brother to zip it, he’s right!” You let out a chuckle as you share a look with Arthur as Charles watches the both of you let out chuckles at his expense.
He lets his eyes narrow and he silently watches as the two of you make fun of him for his outburst. He only talks when your laughter is dying down, “Are you guys done?”
“Oh come on, darling, it was cute.” You lean towards him to link your fingers between his.
He raises one of his eyebrows as he asks, “So you wouldn’t react the same way if I just did that?”
“Oh, Charles, don’t–” Arthur warns him, but you quickly stop him.
“No, no,” you bite back a smile, “continue, my love.”
“As I was saying,” Charles gives his brother a pointed look and then turns his attention back to you, “you wouldn’t react the same way if I wanted to name our future child ‘Charlotte’?”
“Excuse me?” You stutter, frowning as your expression turns into a pout. You wait for a moment for Charles to realise what he’s just said, but when he fails to do so, you prompt him by asking, “How is that similar to what just happened? And why would you bring her into this in the first place?”
Charles shakes his head in disbelief, “How is it not?”
Arthur gets up from his place on the couch and pretends to yawn as he stretches his arms over his head, “You know what, I’m feeling kinda tired maybe I should go home.”
“You sit right back down on that couch, Arthur Leclerc.” You point a finger at him despite having your attention solely focused on your fiancé sitting in front of you, and not on the poor boy who tried to get away from the inevitable fight you and Charles are going to get into.
He lets himself fall back on the couch as he groans and presses a pillow over his face as he mumbles, “Here we go again.”
“I hope you know that these two situations are not similar to each other – like at all.” You emphasise for Charles, “I can’t believe you would even say that!”
There is a clear look of bewilderment in Charles’ eyes as he asks, “You dated ‘Lucas’, I dated Charlotte, how is it not the same?”
“I went on one date with the guy, didn’t date him for three whole years, that’s not the same, you idiot!” You exclaim as you quickly press your hand against your chest as you glare at Charles. “I can’t believe you couldn’t see that, God, Charles! You do this, you always do this!”
Maybe under different circumstances, Charles would have acted a bit smarter. He is, after all, a smart man, he prides himself of being one, but being the absolutely stupid man he is, he asks, “Do what?”
Arthur turns back from the couch, almost breaking his back in the process as his eyes widen in shock as well as he gives his brother a look which screams, How more stupid can you be, you dumbass? In an attempt to diffuse the tension, which is building between the two of you, he recommends, “How about we focus something other than the baby’s name, like the theme of the nursery?”
“Fairy tales,” you answer at the same time Charles chimes, “Racing cars.”
“Okay I take that back.” Arthur mumbles as he watches you and Charles throw glares at each other. “Let’s just stop talking about the baby? It’s clear that the two of you are set on having all the fights you didn’t have before deciding to have a baby.”
Charles lets out a supportive sound. “We clearly suck at discussion right now, this is starting to turn into the argument we had about you taking my surname.”
“Are- are you serious right now?” You stutter once again, eyes widened with surprise. “You are so obstinate, Charles! You refuse to see the right when you’re in the wrong and you refuse to compromise!” You voice is coming more of as a groan now that he’s opened that door. “We didn’t need to have that argument, because i’ve been telling you that I am hyphenating my surname.”
He lets out a similar groan, as he tries to reason, “I just don’t understand why–”
“So our children can have your name, but they can’t have mine?” You raise an eyebrow in warning, eyes narrowing on the edges as you look at your fiancé with suspicion.
“No,” he retorts, trying to defend himself, “I never said I didn’t want the baby, or our future children, to have your surname, I said I just wanted them to have mine.”
You let out a humourless laugh at his reasoning, “So I’m just supposed to lose a big part of myself when we get married, is that it?”
Charles immediately feels a wave of guilt wash over him as he realizes the impact of his words. He jumps up from his seat and rushes over to you, kneeling down in front of you as he gently takes your hands in his. “Well, no– I didn’t mean it like that–”
“I think I know what you’ve meant, Charles.” You voice is shaky as you mumble the next words, “Can you just help me get up, please?”
“What?” Charles asks, motioning his brother to stand back. “Why?”
“Because I can’t stand up on my own, I’m six-months pregnant!” You exclaim, the tears finally start falling down your cheeks. “And it’s all because of you!”
Tumblr media
In hindsight, Charles should’ve foreseen the way his words would cause such a commotion in your relationship – given the fact that the two of you have talked about it before. As the weight of his insensitivity settles in, a new wave of panic washes over Charles – he just couldn't shake the thought that his thoughtless words might push you away. And he knows he should’ve listened to Arthur’s warnings before, and probably should have used better words to express his feelings instead of saying things he didn’t mean in the first place; but then again, he’s never been too good at it in the first place. After receiving a very lengthy lecture from Arthur what to say, or rather what not to say, to a hormonal pregnant woman, he left the apartment the two of you share in a hurry to find you. Despite the logical side of his brain constantly remind him of the fact that you know the city well enough to not get lost, the nagging voice at the back of his mind reminded him of the worst things that could have happened both to the love his life and his baby. So imagine his frustration when you don’t answer any of his calls as he frantically rides around the city in hopes of finding you and apologising like he should’ve before you got out of the door.
After dialling your number for the umpteenth time that night, he releases a relaxed breath when you finally answer his call. “Mon amour, I am so sorry, I didn’t mean–”
“Charles?” He hears your voice play through the car play speakers, “Oh, Charles, I did something bad.”
“Y/N.” Charles can swear his heart stops for a moment, he pulls the car over quickly to give you his undivided attention. “Talk to me, love, what’s wrong? Where are you?”
“I didn’t mean to do it, it was an accident–”
“Chérie, please tell me what happened.” He pleads, hands gripping the steering wheel tighter with anxiety. “Where are you? I’ll come to get you.”
He hears you take a shaky breath as you mumble your next words, “I accidentally ordered both raspberry and lemon ice cream, and I can’t finish both.”
“I- darling,” Charles lets out another relieved breath, “I’m coming to get you now, okay? Just wait for me.”
Your voice is sheepish as you mumble, but the small sniffle Charles hears through the speakers is enough to make his heart clench. “Okay, can you please bring me my blanket?”
“Of course I will, just stay there okay?” He mumbles as he starts up the car again, “I love you.”
“Thank you, darling, I love you too.”
Some of the anxiety he has been feeling about your brief disappearance ease with the enlightment as Charles begins to drive towards the small ice cream parlour near your apartment. Of course, you were right around the corner when he was looking for you throughout the entire city; and of course, he should have known you’d crave ice cream after eight o’clock. Thankfully, it doesn’t take him long to get to you, and he remembers to grab the blanked you keep in the car for when you get cold during night drive the two of you go on frequently.
He finds you sitting at one of the tables right near the door, sitting by yourself as you eye the cup in front of you with a small pout on your face. “Chérie.”
“Charles.” You mumble, meeting his eyes as you exhale a deep breath. “You found me.”
“Well to be fair, love, you’re right around the corner from our home.” He drapes the blanked across your shoulders before settling next to you. A small smile forms of his face when you push the small cup towards him. “You got lemon ice cream?”
You sigh sadly as you wrap the blanket around you tighter, “I couldn’t get far because the baby wouldn’t let me, and she wanted ice cream – and it’s habit, Leclerc.” You scowl at him, quickly adding, “I’m still mad at you.” You let out a frustrated groan when you find him smirking covertly, “What?”
“You called the baby a ‘she’.” He points out, grabbing the spoon and getting some of the ice cream on his spoon, “You think it’s going to be a girl.”
“I- I- no!” You gasp as you watch him bring the spoon to his mount and gives you a dimpled smile, “You stop that right now, Charles Marc Hervé Perceval Leclerc!” You reach over to hit his arm lightly, “I’m still very much mad at you.”
“I know,” he responds grimly, “we have to talk about what happened.” He laces his fingers against yours as he takes your hand on his arm in his, “I didn’t mean anything I said, I am so sorry.”
You let out a deep sigh, eyes softening around the edges, “I need you to understand that I don’t want to lose a part of myself just because we are getting married and starting a family, Charles.” You shake your head lightly as you give him a sad smile, “Do you know how it makes me feel when you say that you want our children to have only your surname?”
“I do.” Charles replies, but after receiving the look from you, he adds, “I mean – I do, now.”
“Charles,” you begin, “I love you, and I love that we get to go on this journey together, but I am not giving up my name. And I want our children to have both of our names.”
“I’m sorry, chérie, I don’t know why I said that.” Charles looks at you with a sad look.
“Your feelings are important to me,” you tell him, “I need you to know that.”
His eyes widen in surprise, “I know that, oh God. I do know that, Y/N.” He presses a small kiss to your conjoined hands, “And you have to admit, love, Y/N-Leclerc sounds great.”
“Thank you,” you let out breathily, eyes brimming with tears, “I love you.”
“I love you too, chérie.” Charles’ smile turns into a mischievous one, “So you think the baby is going to be a girl?”
“Shut up, Perceval.” You bite back a smile as you bring your hands on your belly, “I just hope she has your dimples and not your anger threshold.”

18. "You look like hell" "I feel like it"
series masterlist
.
As much as you loved Carlos, he was undeniably stubborn to his very core.
Usually, it was a trait you admired in your boyfriend. Something his mother had always joked had been with him since birth. Something that many people had noted in your boyfriend. Something that was viewed as being a necessary and strong trait for a driver in such a cutthroat sport.
But it had reached a whole new level when you heard Carlos arguing with the doctor that he would be able to race with his ruptured appendix.
It was probably the first time Carlos had ever seen you put your foot down so firmly on something. And it was surprising to you that he was so shocked about it considering his life was on the line—something that he finally seemed to realise when he had you, the doctor, the team and his father telling him there was no way in hell he was getting in that car tomorrow.
You were thankful he finally agreed to the emergency surgery, even if it meant you practically abandoned your duties too for the weekend.
Despite knowing it was a routine surgery that had been done many times before with very little chance of going wrong, it didn’t stop your brain from spiralling on the possible what if’s haunting your thoughts. It didn’t stop you from sitting in the hospital waiting room, picking at the skin around your nails until a nurse finally came out to tell you that Carlos was out of surgery and already starting to wake up.
“You look like hell.”
“I feel like it,” you muttered in response with a weak smile. “How is it that you were the one who just underwent surgery and still look amazing?”
Carlos’ lips twitched upwards. “I have to always look good so you don’t leave me.”
“Shut up,” you grumbled as you gingerly made your way to his side, dragging a chair so you could side by his bed. “How do you feel?”
“Like the painkillers are hiding whatever pain I’m feeling,” he mused as he turned to look at you with a fond smile on his face. “And wondering why my pretty girlfriend is not touching me.”
“Carlos,” you hissed out, eyes wide. “You just had surgery—”
“So you can’t hold my hand?” He questioned, giving you an innocent smile and giggling a little when you flushed in response.
“That was mean,” you grumbled as you reached for his hand, intertwining your fingers and giving him a soft squeeze.
“Sorry, mi amor,” he murmured in response, lifting your hand to press a kiss to the back of your hand before frowning. “Aye, baby, what’s this?”
“I got nervous waiting,” you admitted with a sheepish smile as he pressed a soft kiss to each of your nails. “Bad habit.”
“I’m fine,” he promised before he let your joined hands drop back on the bed, smiling softly. “Thank you for waiting for me.”
“Always,” you whispered back, mirroring his smile.

A happy ending but one that he has to work at
Friends with Benefits | Kylian Mbappé
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Kylian Mbappé x Female Reader
Word Count: 2.8K
Warnings: Sexual theme
A/N: Hello my loves ! This was supposed to be posted over the weekend but got delayed because I didn’t know how to end this. This is the original request. I hope you guys enjoy !
Also, requests are open .xx
(Y/F/N) - Your Friend’s Name
It’s match day, which calls for my routine meet up with Kylian - we meet for most of his matches and sometimes we don’t. I’m always the reason when we don’t meet on match days because I’m trying my best to avoid him, but I’m failing miserably. Don’t get me wrong, he’s beyond amazing but I broke our rule.
We’re friends with benefits - everyone knows how it goes and what’s the end result, but yet people still believe they’ll never catch feelings. It’s always one person, the deal turns sour and that’s the end of the relationship. I guess I’ll be the cause of that.
I never attended his matches because firstly I’m not his girlfriend and secondly, we both have to be as low-key as possible. Our meet ups usually go with me going over to his place, watch the match from there, no matter the result we have some fun when he gets back and either I’ll spend the night or leave as soon as I can.
Besides the fun of friends with benefits, we actually grew to be quite good friends I would say over the time of us meeting. We’d spend our time in bed talking about his matches or other personal things that he’d want to get off his chest and I would be his confidant. Likewise, I felt comfortable to share things in my life with him as well that I’d usually not tell just anyone. It just felt right in the moment and we’d both just forget the whole reason behind why we were in bed together in the first place.
Tonight it’s AC Milan vs PSG. I got dressed and just before leaving, I gave myself one last look in the mirror - tonight I need to confess.
I let myself into his house and got comfortable whilst watching the match, but of course that didn’t last long because I was already up on my feet yelling at the TV screen.
The time between post match and Kylian coming home felt so quick since I wasn’t paying attention to the time. I heard his footsteps and him attempting to unlock the door, I suddenly felt a shiver run through my spine and my hands had started to get clammy. I’m not ready.
(Y/N)!” He called as he entered. “In the lounge” I answered. “I got here as soon I could. I couldn’t stop thinking about you all day. I missed you” he smiled as he approached me and pulled me by my waist against his chest. “Congrats on the win today!” I smiled as I placed my hands on his chest. “Thanks, well, you’re just what I needed after that” he grinned as he placed his finger under my chin and pulled me in for a kiss.
I couldn’t help but kiss him back. Our lips moved in sync and it started to get heated by the second as my arms wrapped around his neck whilst his hands trailed down my neck. He broke away from my lips as his kisses trailed down my neck. His hands were about to start unbuttoning my shirt until reality slapped me in the face. “Kylian. Wait” I said as I placed my hands on his. “What ! What’s wrong ? Did I do something ?” He asked concerned. “No no…I just uhm… I wanted us to talk about something first” I hesitantly said.
“Okay let’s talk” he said as we both sat next to each other on the couch. Time to cut to the chase. “This needs to stop.”
“Wait, what ? But why ? What did I do ?” “It’s not you. It’s me” I sighed and looked down at my fingers. “What do you mean ?” He asked “This has been going on for 3 months. It started off great and don’t get me wrong, it still is. However, we had an agreement that if one of us breaks the rule then we have to come clean about it. Unfortunately I can’t continue living a lie much longer. It hurts me every time just being nothing but a fling….I caught feelings, Kylian” my heart was racing uncontrollably.
He remained silent before taking a deep breath. “Look (Y/N) these last 3 months were amazing, but I’m sorry I can’t say the same about catching feelings. I’m not really interested in being in a relationship right now because I’m focused on football. I can’t get distracted right now” he carelessly said. I pressed my lips together in hopes that the emotional side of me will go away. “I know this changes everything, but I mean if you still want to be friends with benefits then I’m fine with that. If you don’t and want to walk out of this now, I won’t stop you” he said. I can’t believe him right now. I just felt like curling myself into a ball and crying my eyes out.
“Wow… I’m just a distraction huh ? I think I’m gonna just go” I cleared my throat as I stood up. “Wait (Y/N) I didn’t mean it like that, I mean I don’t have the time to be in a relationship right now. I just want to have fun” he said as he stood up. “Good to know that I don’t fit in the agenda” I faked a smile before walking over to grab my bag. “(Y/N) don’t be like that. We can move past this. Just stay” he grabbed a hold of my hand to stop me.
“I think this is for the best. I can’t continue living a lie and how long do we expect to keep this going ?” I said lastly before pulling my hand away from him. “(Y/N) let’s talk it out” he said as he followed me to the door. “Kylian. You’re already making this harder for me. Just stop. Let this all be in the past” I took a deep breath and paused. “Good luck on your career. I wish you nothing but the best” I said lastly before closing the door and leaving.
I didn’t even realise I was crying until a tear fell on the screen of my phone. I made it back home, thankfully, immediately dressed down and got myself some ice cream to eat my sorrows away whilst watching a sad movie.
Kylian tried calling numerous times and even sent me countless messages but I chose to ignore it. All good things come to an end, as fun as friends with benefits was…eventually one of us would have to pull out of that phase to get into a real relationship for our future. He may not be concerned about getting serious right now but I sure as hell am. It shatters me that he didn’t feel anything in these 3 months we’ve been together - it was just lust for him I guess. So all those late nights where we were being honest and confided in each other was just a waste…
It’s been a week since I last saw Kylian physically, it was hard not to see him when he’s all over my social media even though I unfollowed so many accounts. Besides that, he still attempted to call and message me numerous times apologising but I just left him on read.
(Y/F/N) had came over after ages, she was a mutual friend of both Kylian and I, all she knew was that we were somewhat seeing each other. We left out the part that we were in a situationship. She actually took notice of my absence in Kylian’s life because according to her, he changed in the past week. I wasn’t buying it, I just assumed she was siding with him. I told her that us seeing each other didn’t work because he didn’t have genuine feelings like I did.
My depression was apparently very much evident that her mood had switched to sympathising with me. She acted quick to change my mood, she thought the best remedy for my depression was to move on. I couldn’t agree more. She surprised me when she said that she could picture me dating a friend of hers named, Carlos, if not Kylian then he was apparently the first runner up. Upon hearing the name, I was already keen on moving on in hopes that maybe I’ll finally get a happy ending.
Later in the afternoon after (Y/F/N) left, there was a knock at the door. I answered it and was greeted by a delivery guy. “(Y/N) (Y/L/N) ?” He asked. “Yes ? That’s me” I furrowed my brows. “These are for you” he said as he motioned to the massive bouquet of red roses that was placed beside him. “Oh wow” I said under my breath. “Yeah, you got yourself a lucky man. Have a good day !” He greeted me before he left. I was stood speechless at the door. The bouquet was so heavy, I struggled to even place it onto the counter top. My eyes searched for a card but I found absolutely nothing. Maybe it’s from Carlos after (Y/F/N) put in a word for me.
(Y/F/N) had suggested that Carlos, myself and her have a friendly dinner tonight to get to know each other a bit and so we both don’t feel uncomfortable just yet. I know (Y/F/N) is trying to help, but at the same time I don’t want to go on a date with this guy if he ends up being a bore or even worse, arrogant.
I had a shower, did my hair and makeup before slipping into my dress, and heels. I grabbed my bag and phone before leaving as my Uber arrived.
Luckily they were already there so I didn’t have to awkwardly wait alone. I mentioned (Y/F/N)’s name for the reservation and was escorted inside to where they were seated. “Hello !” I greeted enthusiastically. (Y/F/N) ran over to hug me first before breaking away and introducing Carlos. “Carlos, (Y/N). (Y/N), Carlos” she motioned. “You’re even more beautiful in person” he said as he kissed the back of my hand. “Oh.. well thank you” i felt the heat rush to my cheeks. “You’re welcome” (Y/F/N) said lowly to me.
As we all got seated, (Y/F/N) and Carlos were across me. I was just about to place my bag on the empty seat beside me until I heard that all too familiar voice. “Sorry I’m late.” You’ve got to be kidding me.
“Well finally” Carlos said as he then stood up to shake his hand. “Hey bestie” (Y/F/N) said as she stood up to greet him as well. His eyes were on me the entire time, not even breaking eye contact when he hugged (Y/F/N).
“Chérie” he said lowly enough for only me to hear. “Kylian” I said as I faked a smile and stood up to greet him. As petty as I wanted to be, I didn’t want Carlos to question the tension. Kylian took advantage of the situation as he placed his hand on my lower back and pulled me in for a hug before kissing my cheeks. How lovely, he’s sitting next to me.
Dinner was going well as Carlos opened up about himself and happened to ask me a lot of questions about myself, up until Kylian placed his hand on my thigh. My body froze and I felt goosebumps form on my skin. I placed my hand on top of his to swat his hand away, but of course a few seconds later he does the same thing again with his hand even higher up my thigh. When his fingers were close to my inner thigh, I quickly excused myself, “Would you guys excuse me” I smiled before abruptly standing up and walking towards the bathroom.
Before I could even get to the entrance of the bathroom, I was pulled by my arm and had my back against a corner wall. “What the-“ I said till I saw Kylian’s face. “Can you leave me alone and let me go ?” I said as I pulled my arm away from his. “You’re ignoring me for the past week and I wanted to talk to you” he said. “Well this is obviously not the place or the time, excuse me” I said as I tried to walk away. He grabbed me by my waist and pulled me back against the wall. I hate to admit that i have butterflies and it felt like my skin was burning when he touched me.
“What is it ?” I asked as I crossed my arms over my chest. “You look so beautiful, it’s distracting” he smirked. “Thank you ?” I furrowed my brows in confusion. “Just hear me out.. I know I was wrong and I’m so sorry for not even wanting to give us a try. Since you’ve been away, I felt so empty and it was so obvious that you were missing from my life, I didn’t realise how you completed me. I missed talking to you about literally anything, I missed having you by my side and waking up to your beautiful face. I need you (Y/N) because I love you” he said. I stood speechless. Someone pinch me. “Ow !” I rubbed my arm. “You said to pinch you” he shrugged. “I can’t believe I just said that out loud.”
“So chérie, will you forgive me and give us a chance ?” He asked hopeful. “I need some time Kylian. This all happened so quickly. I have so many unanswered questions that-“ “Okay then ask me a question !” He said. “We’re wasting too much of time, they’re gonna get suspicious” I said as I started walking. “By the way did you like the roses ?” He asked. I stopped in my tracks, “That was you ?” I asked in shock. “Why are you surprised ?” He asked. “Well firstly you didn’t send a note and secondly, I assumed it was Carlos” I shrugged. He seemed to get annoyed by the mention of Carlos’ name as he walked ahead of me without another word. “Ky !” I called for him.
Luckily Carlos and (Y/F/N) didn’t question how long we were gone, I guess they were so caught up in their own conversation because they didn’t even notice Kylian and I when we were back. Kylian was distant for the rest of the evening and luckily dinner was cut short since Carlos had to go. Turns out (Y/F/N) was leaving with Carlos so that just leaves Kylian and I alone. “Are you coming over to my place ?” He asked. “For what ?” I raised a brow. “To talk things out and besides that..I have a surprise for you” he grinned. “You know I hate surprises” I rolled my eyes. “I’m aware that’s the only thing that could convince you to come with me” he said proud. “I really hate you” I shook my head as I followed him to the car.
Once we got to his place, it felt weird knowing that I was once coming here so often to not coming at all. “Okay close your eyes” he said when we were at the door. “But why ?” I asked. “You’re so stubborn, you’re ruining my surprise” he shook his head as he placed his hand over my eyes. He used his other hand to guide me into the house, I could envision where everything was with my eyes close. “Kylian, you’re scaring me” I said as I took small steps. “Almost there” he said lowly. “Okay..open now” he said. I blinked my eyes open to see the house decorated in candles and a trail of roses.
“Oh my gosh” I said lowly. “Do you like it ?” He asked. “Ky, I didn’t know you had this in you” I said in awe. “I’m offended that you don’t think I’m romantic” he shook his head. “I mean deep down I knew you were but I didn’t think that I’d get to see that side of you” I pouted. “Well, you surely got the romantic side of me. I’ve never done this for anyone and I wanted you to feel special, especially to make up for the past week. These are just small things, you deserve better chérie” he sighed. “I think I got exactly what I need right here” I said as I wrapped my arms around his neck. Instinctively he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him against his chest.
“I really love you. I never thought I could miss someone so much until you were gone. I deserved being left on read” he laughed. “You sure did.. I think I should’ve sent the roses back as well” I teased. “Okay now that would be pushing it, I would’ve been heart broken for the rest of my life” he pouted. “You would feel my pain” I smiled. “I already felt your pain when you already moved onto Carlos” he rolled his eyes. “You didn’t even give me a chance to move on. You crashed our friends date, you played with my mind by placing your hand on my thigh and calling me pet names when you normally call me-“ He cut me off by placing his lips on mine. “You’re talking too much” he said in between kisses as it got heated.

“Jungkook!” His mother’s voice greets him after he waits for her to answer his phone call.
“Hi, mom. How are you?” He asks as he sits on his desk chair, eyeing the quiz he had taken with Jimin just thirty minutes before. Jungkook tapped his pen as he reviewed the answers he got wrong and wondered if he was in over his head.
Would this plan even work?
“Good, your father is making dinner tonight, and Seojun made dessert. You just missed him,” his mom informs him. Jungkook chuckles. He texted his brother almost every day, so he was up to date on all things concerning his brother.
“That’s great,” Jungkook smiles and he is genuine with his words. He ignores the bubbling guilt in his stomach as the tapping of his pen grows more frantic and he starts bouncing his knee. He was grateful his mother wasn’t in front of him to notice.
Aera doesn’t notice his silence as she rattles on about everything he’s missed since Thanksgiving. The Christmas parade was just this past weekend and she’s hopeful Jungkook will eventually be able to join the family when he graduates.
Jungkook loved the parade. The floats were always magical, and his parents would help out whenever possible. Even his grandmother had been a participant for decades before his parents ever joined in. Jungkook has several photographs of himself and Seojun aboard a float every year until his Senior year of high school.
After the parade, the town has a festival with food vendors, rides, and musical performances. If finals weren’t around the same time, he’d make the two-hour drive home every year but he needs to focus on his studies for now.
“Jungkook?” His mother’s voice brings him out of his thoughts.
“Hm?” He hums in response.
“Is your partner coming for Christmas?” Aera asks a second time.
“Uh, my girlfriend? Yeah, totally. Yes, they are,” Jungkook clears his throat.
“Wonderful! We’ll get Seojun’s old room ready for you and she can sleep in yours. Is that okay?”
“Yeah,” Jungkook sighs in relief. “That’ll be perfect.”
“I know you probably sleep together,” Aera laughs. “But we’d prefer it this way.”
“No, I understand,” Jungkook affirms. “Whatever you guys want.”
“Make sure you’re using condoms, Jungkook,” Aera states as she takes a seat at the kitchen table. “I’m too young to be a grandmother.”
“Mom!” Jungkook exclaims, his cheeks already turning pink from embarrassment.
“I’m just saying,” Aera laughs again. “I remember those college years with your father.”
“Mom!”
“Tell me about your girlfriend, Kook. What does she like? Do you think she’d like a pair of pajamas? Is she allergic to anything?”
Jungkook answers all his mother’s questions as best as he can. She takes notes as she listens attentively. Seojun had shown him a few pictures when he arrived, not wanting to go through every post his little brother made on his Instagram when he was only stopping by to drop off dessert.
“She seems like such a lovely girl from what I’ve seen. I can’t wait to meet her, son,” Aera smiles as she looks over the notes in her little notebook. She has a habit of doodling on the corners of her page while she talks on the phone, and Jungkook seems to do the same thing.
“Yeah, she’s great,” Jungkook said as he chewed his bottom lip nervously. “I think you’ll like her.”
“We can’t wait to meet her! Oh, your father and I are so excited! Do you love her?” his mother asks, and Jungkook ignores the flutters of his heart.
Sheepishly, Jungkook smiles to himself as he taps the pen on his desk a little slower. I think I’m falling for her, is what he’d like to say but it’s just a ploy. Nothing will come of this once they return to campus, so why get his mother’s hopes up?
“It’s still too early to tell, Mom,” he lies as he turns in his chair, chewing on the end of his pen. “But she’s wonderful.”
Aera hums in acknowledgment. “As long as you’re happy, honey. We can’t wait to see you.”
“I’ll call you soon, Mom. Bye. Love you.”
“Love you, Kook. Bye,” his mother hangs up first like always, and Jungkook hits ‘end call’ on his phone. He sets it down on the desk as he spins around to set the pen on it as well. His elbows rest on the mahogany surface, his hands covering his face as he lets out a somewhat muffled scream.
“I’m so fucked,” he grumbles into the palms of his hands.

Hank Voight x Fem!Reader - Pt. 2
Request for @maximeseveridecaseyc - I hope you like it!
Synopsis: Part 2 of THIS request - Reader and Voight are taking the next step in their relationship! :)
Eight months went by, your relationship with Hank growing deeper and more passionate every day. Your bruises had healed, and you’d naturally gained some weight, but it was good weight. You were happier and despite still having nightmares, Hank stayed by your side. You often spent your days in his house, as you felt safe there. He urged you to go out on your own, because he didn’t want to restrict you. When you did leave, you went to Molly’s and worked a weekend shift, especially when Hank was wrapped up in a case.
One day, Hank came home to you, a wide smile on his face. It was rare to see him in such a good mood due to his line of work. You walked to the door and greeted him.
“Hey baby,” you said softly, waiting for him to strip his outer jacket and shoes before wrapping your arms around his neck, pressing a soft kiss to his lips.
He looked down at you, his smile only growing. “Hey there,” he replied. “How was your day?”
You laughed. “It was good. Looks like yours was too.”
He kissed you again, rubbing your waist. “Even better now that I’m home with you.”
You smiled, putting a hand up to his face, stroking his cheek with your thumb. “Seems like you’re extra happy today.”
Hank hummed, turning his head to kiss your hand, using one hand to take it and hold it. “Come on, let’s eat dinner. I’m just so happy to see my girlfriend.”
You laughed, using your free hand to rub his chest before he whisked you away to the kitchen. The two of you decided to cook spaghetti. You and Hank worked together on the meal, Hank playfully getting some sauce on his finger and pressing it to your nose. You gasped and laughed, getting him back by saucing him in the cheek. You both laughed, the happiest people in the world in those moments. The rest of the world didn’t exist as the two of you laughed and wiped the sauce from one another’s faces.
You wrapped your arms around his torso, pressing your face into his chest. “You know, when I first met you, I never thought that you’d be such a softie.“
Hank couldn’t help but blush when you called him that. “I hope you don’t go around telling people that. I have to keep my hard-ass reputation.” He laughed, stroking your hair as he held you close.
“No, it’s just for me,” you whispered, pulling back and kissing him deeply.
Hank smiled down at you when you parted. “Yeah, it is.” He reached into his pocket, pulling something out after a moment and keeping it hidden in his hand. “Look, (Y/N), you’re the first person to make me happy since Camille passed on. I want to make sure you stick around. I know it’s really informal but… I want to ask you if you’ll marry me.” Hank opened his hand to reveal a simple engagement ring.
You blushed deeply, gasping softly when he asked, tears welling in your eyes. How could you say no to him? He made you just as happy. You slowly took the ring from his hand, nodding as you looked up at him, slipping it on your ring finger. “Yes… Yes, Hank, I’d love to marry you.” You pushed closer into his embrace as he pulled you as close as possible, kissing you deeply, passion and love pouring from his soul, directly into yours. You felt completely fulfilled by this moment alone.
You wrapped your arms tightly around Hank, practically jumping into his arms. He smiled and pulled you up, setting you up on the counter as he turned off the stove. “You know, I didn’t plan to do this until after dinner, but it was so… perfect.”
You smiled down at him, carting your fingers through his hair and rubbing the nape of his neck. “Yeah, it was perfect,” you affirmed. “I couldn’t think of anything better.”
.
The next day, you went with Hank into work, as you sometimes did, especially because you liked to visit the intelligence unit, who had come to be your close friends and practically family.
It was Antonio who noticed it first. He was a father, and he had taken on something of a parent role to you as well. He looked at your hand, then met your eyes and smiled. “Congratulations,” he said softly, so the others wouldn’t hear.
“Thanks,” you whispered with a nod as you walked over to see Erin and Jay in the break room. “Hey guys.”
Erin smiled when she saw you. “Hey, (Y/N)!” She walked over and gave you a gentle hug. “You seem different.”
You shrugged a little. “What do you mean?” You smiled at her as Jay handed you a cup of coffee, which you held with both hands as you sipped.
Erin hummed, looking you over. “You look like you’re glowing.”
“Well, I had a good night last night,” you said with a small laugh.
Hank came up behind you in the doorway, a rare smile on his face. Erin didn’t see him smile like that often, meeting his eyes for a moment before Hank looked down.
Erin’s eyes turned to you, gasping when she saw the engagement ring on your finger. “No way,” she said with a laugh. “Hank, you sly dog.”
Hank shrugged. “What can I say?”
Jay laughed. “Congratulations.” He walked over, giving you a small hug, then shaking Hank’s hand.
Erin came over and hugged you tightly. “I’m so happy for the two of you.” She smiled, then hugged Hank as well. “I’m glad you make each other happy.”
You turned to look at Hank as he hugged his foster daughter, a bright smile on your face. “Erin, I’d love it if you could be my maid of honor.”
Erin turned quickly to you, smiling. “I’d love to, (Y/N). Anything you need, let me know.”
Hank chuckled. “We talked about it last night. We decided we’d just have a small wedding and elope. Just close friends.”
Antonio walked in, smiling and shaking Hank’s hand. “Congratulations - both of you.” He hugged you tightly, kissing your cheek. “You both deserve it.”
You smiled and hugged Antonio tightly. “Walk me down the aisle?”
Antonio pulled back, looking at you with a look of surprise. “Me? Are you sure?”
“Who else?” You asked with a smile.
Three months later, you were dress shopping. Your wedding was set for a month out, making you both excited and nervous. It wasn’t a huge ceremony, but you wanted it to be just right. Hank was the love of your life, your first true love and the man who ultimately treated you like you were worth more than a passing glance. You weren’t a body with Hank, you were a person.
“(Y/N),” Erin said, gently putting a hand on your shoulder. “You ready?”
“Yeah,” you said, walking with Erin into the store, Jay right behind you.
When you walked in, you were greeted by a man and a woman, both of which would be assisting you.
.
After trying on eighteen dresses, you were exhausted. None of them were quite right. You liked a few, hated a few others, and were indifferent on the rest. You were upset that you couldn’t find one you loved and were going to settle on one of the ones you thought were okay instead. That’s when Jay popped out of the aisle. “Hey, (Y/N), try this one.”
“I’m exhausted, Jay,” you groaned. “It’s fine, I’ll just pick one of these.”
“No, I’m serious, this is the last one. Try it.”
“Jay…” you whined. “Come on…”
Erin walked over to Jay, looking at the dress he was holding, then nodding. “Come on, (Y/N), one more.”
You looked at the both of them, then sighed. “Fine. But this is the last one. Then I’m leaving.”
You got into the dress which fit you well in all the right places. You bit your lip as you looked down at it, wondering if it actually looked as good as you thought. When you walked out and stood on the podium, you looked at Erin and Jay on the couch first. “Does it look okay?”
Jay smiled brightly, nodding. Erin gasped and stood up, walking over to you. “(Y/N), you need to see it for yourself.”
You bit your lip as Erin helped you move around to the mirror, your eyes closed tightly. When you finally got the courage to open your eyes and look, you blushed, then tears welled in your eyes. You put your hands to your face, gasping as you started to cry. “It’s… perfect.”
“Told you,” Jay said, standing and joining Erin. “It’s always in the last place you look.”
You laughed, shaking your head and wiping the tears from your face. “That’s only lost things, silly.”
Jay shrugged and chuckled.
You and Hank had decided at the last minute to have your wedding on the steps of the 21st district. Seeing as it was a weekend, the foot traffic could be routed through a different door. Trudy was able to take care of it for you. She was so happy for Hank that he had found someone new since Camille had passed. You, Erin, Stella, and Sylvie were a block away at Sylvie's apartment. The girls had personally taken care of your hair and makeup, styling it so that your face was perfectly framed. As you finished assembling your dress and got your shoes on, you looked in the mirror, biting your lip. Everything was perfect, and you were glowing. The engagement ring on your finger was sparkling brightly, and you couldn't help but smile, thinking about Hank, hoping he thought you were beautiful too.
A knock came to the door. Erin walked over and cracked it open, then allowed Antonio inside. Antonio stepped in, nodding to the three bridesmaids, then to you with a small smile. "Beautiful."
"Thanks," you said softly, nodding back at him. "Is everyone ready at the district?"
"Yep, just waiting on you." He walked over, offering his arm. You took it, the two of you walking downstairs and out to his car. Erin, Stella and Sylvie got into another car, driving ahead of you and Antonio so they could get set up. Toni sat in the driver's seat beside you, waiting a few minutes before he started driving. He looked at you. "Hey, how are you feeling?"
You took a deep breath as your eyes shifted to his face. "Butterflies. Lots and lots of butterflies."
Antonio chuckled, gently taking your hand for comfort. "Hank feels the same way - he just won't say so."
"How do you know?" You squeezed his hand.
Antonio laughed. "I haven't seen Hank so frantic in my life. He knows this is a small event, but he wants to make sure it's right. For you. He understands you haven't been married before and he wants you to have a good day."
You smiled softly, thinking about Hank being frantic. You could barely imagine it. The level-headed man you'd come to love, hard on the outside and soft on the inside, how could he be so frantic? You looked out the window as Antonio drove you to the district, the butterflies in your stomach getting stronger with each passing minute.
When you arrived at the district, Antonio kissed your cheek, then got out and opened your door for you, handing you a bouquet he had grabbed from the back seat. It was made up of your favorite flowers. He helped you out, then the two of you walked across the street. At the top of the stairs stood Hank, Alvin and Jay beside him, a third spot left for Antonio. Chief Boden from Firehouse 51 was officiating your wedding, standing in the middle with a small smile. Erin, Stella and Sylvie had since taken their places on the opposite side of Al and Jay, a spot left for you. Each had a grin on their face, except Hank.
Hank's eyes moved all over you. He examined every part of you, from bottom to top. When his eyes finally met yours, he nodded a little, swallowing hard. You wondered if he wanted to back out, but as Antonio led you up the steps toward Hank, you could see he actually had tears in your eyes. You teared up as well, seeing that he was crying just looking at you. The two of you were overwhelmed with emotion as Antonio let you go and into Hank's arms, taking his spot beside Jay. Hank hugged you, mumbling in your ear. "You're beautiful... Inside and out... I can't wait to make you my wife."
You sniffled, trying not to rub your makeup on him. Al handed you a tissue, as if he knew you would need it beforehand. You took it with a silent thanks, pulling away from Hank to dab your eyes, then holding his hands. You barely listened to Boden until your part came, Erin handing you the wedding band for Hank, and Al giving the one for you to Hank. You repeated the words Boden asked you to, then Hank to you. The two of you were still dabbing your tears every so often, voices barely a whisper, as it was all either of you could muster without breaking into tears.
After you exchanged rings, you exchanged vows, promising to love and support one another - no matter what came your way. Each of you promised that your marriage meant more than just a body to sleep beside. Your marriage was the most important thing in your lives, come what may.
After exchanging the rings, Boden talked a bit more before the two of you were finally allowed to kiss one another. Hank pulled you close, a soft yet desperate pull. He touched his nose to yours, finally letting tears stream from his eyes. "I love you," he whispered softly before closing the gap and pressing his lips to yours, kissing you with the same passion, love and energy you had felt the first time he kissed you. You returned it all, holding onto him lovingly, clutching his jacket for life, as if he might leave if you let go. You finally had something good, and it was yours to keep. Love.
When the two of you finally parted, you whispered back, breathless. "I love you too." Finally, the claps and cheers of your wedding party and audience came to your ears. You smiled and faced the small crowd of friends, waving with your free hand, holding your bouquet in the other. You threw it out into the crowd, Kim catching it. She blushed as Adam laughed and put his arm around her shoulders. Then, Hank walked you down the steps, smiling like a fool. The two of you got into his Dodge Durango and drove away, waving. You went to his house, practically already both of yours. The two of you changed into something a little less fancy, but still nice. Then, you shared a few moments together, gentle and loving, before leaving and heading out to Molly's for your reception.
--
When the two of you arrived at Molly's, the party was already in full swing. Trudy and Erin made sure everyone was having a good time. You and Hank walked in, everybody clapping and hollering. Hank held your hand, smiling and even blushing. It was a blush he would pass off as it being too hot. Only you and a select few others knew that his blush was real. The two of you walked around, talking with everyone. Mainly though, Hank did the talking while you just enjoyed holding his hand. The two of you had some casual drinks, but you were already exhausted and looked forward to spending the night in his arms, leaning into him. He cast his arm around your waist and pulled you close, allowing you to lean further into his embrace. His embrace was the best place on the planet, and you never wanted to leave it.

Can you do a Gabe imagine pls? Can it be a childhood friend's trope pls?
For as long as you could remember, Gabe Perreault had been a constant in your life. You had met in first grade, the curly haired boy coming up to you, with your tiny pigtails, and insisting he sat next to you. What came next was a friendship that had only grown stronger as each year passed.
You went to every hockey game of Gabe’s that you possibly could, and tagging along on each other's family vacations.
You weren’t sure when things shifted, but ever since you had arrived at Boston College for freshman year, something had been different. A good, but also scary different.
Seeing girls flirt with him makes her sick now. A year ago, she would’ve given him a thumbs up and a smile as encouragement, but now she can’t stomach it.
——
It’s a Friday night, and instead of going out to a party, you’re sitting in Conte Forum, watching Gabe’s hockey game, just like every weekend they have a home game. You’re his so-called ‘Good Luck Charm’, deemed when the one game you didn’t go to ended in a loss for Boston College.
Ever since then, you were to be present at every Boston College hockey game, with Gabe’s jersey on, per order of him, Ryan, and Will.
You make your way over to the locker game to see Gabe, like every time. Media is done, and Gabe should be walking out the door any minute now.
“Y/N!” Ryan shouts, running over to you. You spot the familiar brown curls walking behind him, and your stomach flips. “Did you see my goal? It was so sick, wasn’t it?”
“Yeah, it was cool.” You respond halfheartedly, meeting Gabe’s eyes. Ryan shoots you a knowing look, but you swat him.
“Gabe-o!” You shout, throwing your arms around him. His arms go around your waist, steadying the both of you. Butterflies erupt in your stomach. “You looked like a rockstar out there!”
“Thank’s Y/N/N. You brought us good luck, just like I said you would,” His arms are still around your waist, and the butterflies are multiplying rapidly. “The team and girlfriends are going to the bar tonight, you in?” He looks down at you, and you look up at him.
“Sounds fun. I should probably change out of this though, put on something nicer.” You point down at the jersey.
“Oh, you don’t wanna wear my jersey to the bar?” He mocks fake hurt, his million dollar smile spreading across his face.
“I don’t think this exactly screams ‘bar attire’, so I’m gonna have to say no.” You giggle.
“Fair enough. We can swing by your dorm and then head over.”
“Perfect.”
——
The bar is crowded, and Gabe has a tight grip on your hand, in order to not lose you. He’s deep in conversation with Ryan, while you are talking to Ryan’s girlfriend who’s leaning up against him.
You chose not to drink tonight, instead having a diet coke with lime. Someone needs to make sure that everybody finds a safe ride home tonight.
Gabe is not drinking either, figuring you’re gonna need help with rounding up everyone and getting them back.
“Have you told Gabe you liked him?” Ryan’s girlfriend speaks a little too loudly. She’s drunk, and you can’t blame her. Ryan’s eyes widen, and you squirm out of Gabe’s hold.
“Oh, um, look at the time. I should go.” You all but sprint out of the bar, ignoring Gabe’s shouts behind you.
“Y/N, Y/N, wait!” He shouts, but they fall to deaf ears.
“Gabe, go back to the bar. Your teammates need you,” You yell back, not losing your fast pace. But Gabe is faster, and he lifts you off the ground, despite your feet flailing around. “Put me down, now!”
“Sorry, can’t. Not until you stop yelling at me.”
“Please, spare me the embarrassment. You can never speak to me again, just don’t laugh at me.”
“Was she telling the truth? Do you like me?”
It’s a heat of the moment decision, but you decide it’s now or never. Surging forward, your lips meet his, and his hands fall to your waist, pulling you oh so close. It feels like magic; like a years worth of lingering feelings finally coming to a crash in the best way possible.
“Does that answer your question?”
“Yeah, it does.” He goes in for another, hands still on the small of her back to keep them both steady. It feels right, and nothing else could make either of you happier.

WARNING: Mention of miscarriage, blood and injury. BE AWARE
Some characters are invented. I don’t know exactly the name of every team member of each driver. Please be respectful, and you can correct me in the comments. I’ll make the adjustment if I get something wrong.
Dialogues from: Cha Cha Real Smooth
When Lance had his bike accident. She miscarried and didn’t tell him because She didn’t want him to worry about her. Weeks passed, and he slowly recovered from his injuries. Now that this dark time has passed, she feels it’s time to tell him.
She is working in the hotel room when she gets the call from Lance’s coach. He quickly informed her of the situation, and she jumped into the first taxi to the hospital where he had just been admitted. He didn’t directly describe the damage the accident caused, but she felt in his voice that it was severe. The stress has escalated, and she imagines the worst possible scenarios.
She rushed to the emergency room, quickly spotting Lance’s team in the corner of the waiting room.
“What happened?” She asks quickly. His coach once she gets close to them.
“I... I don't. I don't know. Everything happened so fast.”
“How bad is it?” She questions nervously.
“Very...”
They’ve been waiting for hours, and no one wants to give them any information until his father arrives. She tried to get information, but apparently, being his girlfriend is not close enough to him to be able to receive any information. The nurses are reluctant to tell her anything; she only knows he’s with the doctors to save his hands and feet.
She returns and sits with Lance’s coach, Rob, for the fifth time. She let a giant sigh escape and crossed her arms with discontent. She has had a stomach ache since early morning, and she’s getting increasingly irritable with the hours that pass.
She’s trying to camouflage her discomfort, but she’s starting to feel cramps twisting her in half. She apologizes to the team and heads to the nearest washroom. She feels blood running down her thighs. "Oh no." She hurries and opens the first cabin available.
She lifts her dress, which is now stained with blood and looks. Tears invade her when she sits on the toilet bowl, waiting for her to finish bleeding out. "Why it’s happening to us."
A few weeks ago, she noticed that she hadn’t had her period for several weeks, but she didn’t tell Lance because she didn’t want to worry him about anything. So she said nothing and lived in denial over the holidays and Lance’s vacation. They went to the mountains, and that’s when she realized the changes that began to happen. They went back to Canada and finally decided to consult.
So the doctor told her a week before Lance’s accident that she was 13 weeks pregnant.
“Congratulation Miss Strulovitch. Thirteen weeks pregnant. We can schedule your first ultrasound for the end of the weekend.”
“I...”
“I know this is quite a shock, especially since you didn’t know about it. You can take your time to think about it and talk to your partner.
“Umm...”
“You can call our office anytime.”
She left the office not knowing what to do or think. She didn’t want to talk to Lance immediately until she thought about it and knew what to think. They went to Spain on the weekend and had her ultrasound picture in her bag, waiting for the right moment to tell Lance.
“When... Is there a date of conception? She asked them on the phone some hours later to the doctor.
“Well, if my calculation is correct, it will probably be around the end of November.”
“End of November, she whispers back.
She remembered right away the night it happened. She had been sick for a few days and forgot to take her pill, but she didn't think much about it when she was in Abu Dhabi with Lance. Lance and she have been together for quite a long time and have done it multiple times without protection. So she didn’t think much about it, and it was Lance.
She cries, trying to find a solution. A way for her to go back to the hotel and change. But she’s bleeding out, and bleeding out her baby. She can’t believe it. She didn’t even have time to tell him. She didn’t have time. Why didn’t she have time?
She finally calmed down a bit to be able to text Rob, Lance’s coach.
“Hi, women’s bathroom. Hum, I’m looking for someone. Is anybody in here? Is anybody’s name Y/n in here? Start with a Y?” Asks Bob entering the bathroom.
“Bob,” She whimpers in pain.
“Yeah. Y/n.”
“Is Lance okay? Have you seen him?”
“Yes. Yeah, he’s, and he’s keeping it up. Are you okay?”
“Um, I’m kind of stuck in here.”
“What do you mean?” Do you need toilet paper?”
“I’m. I just. I got some blood on my dress, and it’s not. I’m fine. It’s not a cut. Um...”
“Oh, word, okay.”
“Um, but I need. Can you get me some paper towels?”
“Yes”
“Like ten?”
“Yeah”
“And can you wet some?”
“Uh?”
“Will you wet some of them?”
“Yes!” He approaches the door. “Okay. Can you reach that?”
“Fuck”
“What?”
“I can’t reach that. I just got more blood on my drip on my dress.”
“I can go a little further.”
“I can’t. I. Just throw them.”
“I can, but I feel like it’s gonna fall on the floor, and it’s gonna be, like, not sanitary for you.”
“Go under, then, go.”
The door opens. He gives you the toilet paper.
“Close the door.”
“Are you okay?”
“Yeah...”
“Do you want me to see if someone has a tampon or something?”
“No, I’m good.”
“Lance, I need you to help me get to my car. Because I don’t want people to think I’ve killed somebody in the bathroom.”
“Yeah, it does look like that. Do you, um, that’s a period. Do you want my... Do you want to wear my coat? I have a coat.”
“I don’t think your coat will cover my ass.”
“I feel like it is. I’m pretty tall.”
“I don’t want people to see me wearing some guy’s jacket.”
“Okay, I think I have an idea.”
She spends several minutes in there while Rob goes looking for his coat. She whimpers in pain, trying to breathe through the contraction. Tears flow down her cheeks, and she feels something leave her body.
She went back to the hotel room. Looking like a maniac trying to keep her mind busy. She’s shaking but tries to cover it. She mumbles to herself. She nervously eats her nails, and she passes multiple times at the same place. Her mind wanders away. She needs a shower. She needs a shower right now.
It is only when the shower starts running that her minds finally silence itself. Taking a part of hers in the drains. She watches the blood flowing away. The warm water makes her feel a bit better, but she can’t help to cry again. She stays under the water for ages. Letting the water flow her emotions away. She needs to be strong. She needs to let go of the pain. She needs to be strong for him. “He didn’t have to know. He didn’t have to know.” She mumbles again to herself.
She wears sweatpants with an oversized hoodie and returns to the hospital. Her hair is still wet, and she didn’t even bother to put makeup on. The surgery is over, and she can finally see Lance again. Seeing him, in his hospital bed, with his casts on moves her. She keeps your tear to herself and goes to kiss him. Acting as normal as possible. Even though inside of her, she just went to let her pain out. Let it out to the world and be normal again.
The week passed, and his recovery went rapidly, and the possibility of him getting back in the car was more and more present now. She gets nightmares every night, and each worsens, keeping her awake. Sometimes, she sees Lance getting hurt in the car, in the street. Sometimes it’s her being persecuted by Lance, her family, and his family for how an awful mother she is, for losing this child. So, she lays awake in bed every night, waiting till the morning comes.
It’s the first of the year. Overwhelmed and tired. She enters the paddock with him. Her glasses are up to her nose, and her head is down.
It’s FP1, and she’s decided to stay in Lance’s driver's room to try and get some rest. She rested her head on her fist as her tired eye slowly started to close. Her lips slightly parted, and she drifted away. Forgetting all the sound and the agitation around her.
A dream begins to appear in her mind. Images and sounds start to occur more for her as she finds herself on track, in the middle of it. Her eyes wander around her. All the lights on the track are on, but no spectators, no sounds, and no vibration.
Then the sound of a Formula One car begins to reach her far away, like a storm. The atmosphere becomes heavy and humid. She is unable to move or step forward. Just her eyes move from left to right. She feels her heart palpitating, her breathing pressing, and her body hair bristling.
She feels that her body is reacting violently to what is happening. As if a great danger is going to happen and she can do nothing to stop it. She’s watching her own misery.
Then, in the distance, she sees the car heading straight toward her. The ground begins to vibrate under the pressure of the coming storm. The wind blows violently, and her breath is cut off.
She blinks, ready to scream with all her lungs, when suddenly she feels a hand on her shoulder, gently shaking her.
Her eyelids suddenly open, and she desperately seeks her breath. She crosses the worried look of Lance, who still holds her shoulder.
He’s still in his suit. Light sweat on his forehead. His fireproof clothes are soaked with sweat, and his suit is tied around his waist.
“Are you okay?” He questions, visibly concerned.
“What time is it?” She asks, still confused by her dream.
“Haft past seven, I think.” She looks at him confused but sits up. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah, just tired...” She mumbles, rubbing her eyes.
Lance didn’t believe a word she said. He knows this lack of sleep has been going on for a while now, even though he didn’t say anything initially, thinking that all this stress comes from his accident. He wanted to prove to her that everything was going well for him by going up to the Grand Prix and into that car, but he sees that it is no longer that that bothers her, but something else.
“Your eyes are red. Did you get enough sleep last night?” She sighs. She doesn’t want him to be distracted. Not right now, not now. She wants to tell him so badly. All this sadness and pain she feels, but she has to wait.
“I had a bad dream.” She says, looking up at him. “I’ve been having the same dream over and over for the last few weeks, and it’s keeping me awake, and I can’t sleep.”
“Why didn’t you tell me sooner? You should have woken me.” His voice calmed the storm inside her mind, making her focus on what was really important.
“I wanted to, but every time I turned around in the bed, you’re here with your cast and blaster, and you finally look peaceful, relaxed, and rested. I just couldn’t do it.”
Lance let it go, but that night. He lay awake next to her. He waited until she closed her eyes to finally closes his. The next day flies by, and the excellent result comes in. She didn’t sleep much, but at least Lance took her in his arms all night, making her feel safe again.
It’s already Sunday, and the race went amazingly. Lance got P6 despite the pain and everything. She’s full of joy and sadness at the same time. Watching him being happy again makes her heart full, but at the same time, she can’t stop thinking. Thinking about what could have been. What will it be? She can’t hold it back and start crying when they return to his driver’s room.
“Hey. Hey, baby. What’s going on?” He asks, taking her into his arm. “It’s all right, I’m all right.”
“No...”
“What is it?
“I’m sorry.”
“Why are you crying? Has something happened?”
“I lost it.”
“What?”
“I lost our baby.”
“What are you talking about.” Lance wanders, worried. “Breathe, baby.”
“I’ve lost our baby.” She whispers, finally calming down. She breathes before continuing. “I found out I was pregnant a week before your accident, and I wanted to be sure before telling you anything, but...”
“But I crash my bike.”
“I don’t know why, but I did a miscarriage when you were admitted to the hospital.”
“You went through this alone?” He asks, surprised it’s been this long.
“I didn’t want to put more on your plate, I...” She started to cry again, not wanting him to be mad at her. Lance feels bad and pulls her close to him.
“It’s okay. I’m not mad; I just wish you had told me sooner. I want to be there for you as you are for me.” he says, kissing your temple. “That’s why you are not okay for the past weeks?” She nods, her head resting on his chest. “We should see the doctor to see if everything is okay.”
She nods again to his suggestion and stays like this for several minutes. Listening to his heartbeat. They never discuss the possibility of having a baby, but Lance never shows he is against the idea of having children. He wants kids, but he never thoughts it would be this young, this soon.
He does not know how to feel after this revelation and must admit that he is disturbed by what could have been. A small them. A mix between her and him. He sighs and squeezes her harder.
“Will try again,” he spoke softy. “And this time, we will be ready.”
“Thank you,” she whispers, looking him in the eyes.
They went out for dinner that night. Just the two of them, alone. In their little comfort bubble, away from socials, friends or family. It’s only a few days after the Grand Prix that Lance took the time to make a post on his social. Looking back on his journey through recovery. On international women’s Day, he dedicated a beautiful message to her. Posting their first couple picture together on his Instagram.
In the garden, she looks peacefully away. The doctor says they will have no problem being pregnant again. He even proposed to put her to be on the pill. She thoughts about it and turned to Lance before saying she won't need it. Lets the faith decide what comes.
Later in the evening, she’s looking at the field of the lantern lighting up the sky. There is a special event in north London, and she begs Lance to go. Their wish lantern goes away with the ultrasound of their unborn baby on it. Saying a last proper goodbye. They watch it together, flying out. Flying away to heaven.  Her head was on his shoulder.
“I'm glad you're feeling better.” He whispered in her ear. She smiles, delighted to have found peace and acceptance. To accept the loss. To accept the misfortune. To accept destiny.
When they went back to Monaco weeks later. She had never been more in love with him.
She's in his arms. On a boat. Looking at the sunset while listening to his multiple stories. She loves hearing him talking. She kisses his cheeks while he looks around the mountains and the ocean around them. His arms are around her body, keeping her close to his chest. Feeling her light skin warm by the sun. He finally settles in, contemplating her. She smiles. A real smile. Fill with love and admiration. He pulls her hair out, telling her how much he loves her. Scooping her face in his hand and giving her a kiss. Pulling her into a warm hug.

I saw this prompt and I was immediately called to respond. I couldn't get it all finished in time, but happy day 7 of @nessianweek everyone <3 next part coming ???

✷✷✷✷✷ Nesta
When Nesta finally made it back home from her study session, she was more than ready to grab the package she’d been looking forward to for the last several days. She’d fallen down the rabbit hole on TikTok last week and had decided to order a new vibrator, and she was very much looking forward to messing around with it this weekend while her roommates were busy. Emerie would be spending her weekend at Cresseida’s place since her girlfriend didn’t have roommates, and Gwyn  would be stuck at the campus library grading exams all weekend.
It was the perfect time, and Nesta planned on taking full advantage of it. Law school was stressful, okay? She deserved a nice, quick orgasm or two. Or three; who was she to limit herself when she’d have a basically empty place?
Once Nesta had gotten the notification that her package had been delivered, she’d been in a good mood for the rest of the day, and that good mood continued as she found street parking right outside her townhouse. She quickly grabbed her backpack and made her way toward her front door, more than ready to grab her package and get it inside as quickly as possible—
Only to see an empty stoop.
Nesta frowned and looked around, hoping that the little black box would magically appear. When her stoop remained empty as ever, she wondered if maybe one of her roommates had taken the package inside for her. Gwyn usually got out early from the class she was TAing for on Fridays, and as a business student, Emerie didn’t have class on Fridays. The odds were high that one or both of them were home already, so Nesta hoped one of them had grabbed her package.
“Hey,” Nesta greeted her roommates as she got inside, locking the door behind her before dumping her backpack to the ground. Gwyn was sorting through a mess of papers on one end of the couch while Emerie was folding her laundry on the other. “You two look cozy.”
“Someone’s got to be,” Gwyn replied with a smile. “How was your study group?”
“Boring,” Nesta answered. Eris had needled her into coming so he wouldn’t be by himself, and they’d spent most of it furtively rolling their eyes at one another instead of actually learning the Federal Rules of Evidence. “How was class?”
Gwyn shuddered. “All that undergrad anxiety is driving me crazy. I can’t wait until midterms are done.”
“I don’t know how you stand it,” Emerie chimed in as she folded a pair of leggings. “I’m going crazy just hearing about it.”
The three of them went back and forth for a while as they complained about the undergrads. Nesta hadn’t forgotten about her package, though, and she waited for a lull in the conversation before she asked about it.
“Random question, but did either of you see a package outside?” Nesta finally asked from where she’d settled onto the empty armchair.
“There wasn’t anything here when I got home,” Gwyn told her before turning to Emerie. “Maybe Em brought it in? She usually gets the mail.”
“I was running some errands earlier, but I didn’t see any packages when I got back,” Emerie answered. She got through the last of her laundry pile and folded the last shirt with a flourish. “There was a note from your nemesis, however.”
“He’s not my nemesis,” Nesta grumbled, momentarily distracted. She’d circle back to her missing package in a moment; she had a position to defend. “He’s just — ugh.”
Nesta’s so-called nemesis was just their extremely overeager neighbor, Cassian. He was always waving hello and doing nice things like bringing in their packages if they were outside for too long or mowing their shared strip of grass.
It also didn’t help that he was very easy on the eyes. He was tall, muscular, and had an eyebrow scar that only made him even cuter. For whatever reason, the grouchier she got, the nicer he became, and she couldn’t tell if he was fucking with her or if he was genuinely that good of a person.
“He’s just so nice,” Gwyn said, pitching her voice to mimic Nesta’s. “Something’s got to be wrong with him.”
“Like you can talk,” Nesta fired back without missing a beat. Gwyn’s face went as red as her hair as she realized where Nesta was going with this. “All that drooling you do over his roommate? Throwing stones from glass houses isn’t a good look for you.”
Cassian shared the townhouse next door with Azriel, his much broodier but just as gorgeous roommate. He was much quieter than Cassian, but he was always polite whenever Nesta ran into him. That hadn’t deterred Gwyn in the slightest from launching a one-woman campaign to befriend him, though Nesta and Emerie knew it wasn’t exactly friendship she was after.
“She’s got you there, Gwyn,” Emerie replied with a chuckle. “Maybe when both of you get your heads out of your asses, I can live in peace.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Nesta responded, rolling her eyes. She wanted to circle back to her package, though, and she really hoped Cassian hadn’t done the neighborly thing even more than she usually did. “What did the note say?”
“Cresseida called me and I got distracted,” Emerie admitted sheepishly. Nesta couldn’t blame her, though; Cresseida was a knockout, and the two of them were clearly head over heels for each other. If Nesta had a girlfriend like that, she’d get distracted, too. “It’s on the table with the rest of the mail, though.”
Nesta sprung out of her seat and raced to their small dining room to look for the note. There were a few letters on the table where they normally left their mail, and she quickly pushed them aside to find the giant pink post-it Cassian had used to write his note.
Hey Nes, Cassian had written in neater handwriting than Nesta had been expecting. It didn’t stop her from scowling at his use of what he’d deemed her nickname, though. She’d told him many times that her name was Nesta, two syllables, but that hadn’t stopped him yet. Sighing, she mentally set it aside and continued reading the rest of his note.
Your package got delivered to my house, so I’m holding onto it until you get home. Feel free to come knock anytime and I’ll hand it over!
Your favorite neighbor,
Cassian
God fucking dammit. Nesta couldn’t decide whether she was thankful her package hadn’t been stolen or furious that of all people, it had to be him.
“Just my luck,” Nesta muttered.
“Does he have your package?” Emerie called from the couch.
“Yep,” Nesta called back through gritted teeth. She walked back to the living room with a grimace on her face. “He sure does.”
“Uh oh,” Gwyn replied, teasing. “You’re going to have to actually be nice to him.”
“You don’t understand,” Nesta told her. She was trying her best not to short-circuit, but it was a more difficult task than she’d been prepared for. “I — he — of all the packages he could’ve gotten by accident—”
“Oh my God,” Gwyn said, laughing at how red Nesta’s face was. “Did you order something embarrassing?”
“It’s not embarrassing,” Nesta tried to say back over the sound of Gwyn’s cackles. “It’s just private!”
“How bad could it be?” Emerie responded, attempting to behave like a reasonable adult. “I mean, it’s not like whatever you ordered says what it is on the outside, right?”
“Just tell us,” Gwyn encouraged. “I’m sure it’s not as bad as you think.”
“I got a new vibrator,” Nesta managed to get out. Gwyn let out a loud giggle that she quickly stifled once Emerie gave her a stern look. “And I have no clue what the packaging looks like other than it allegedly being… discreet.”
“Oh, this is too good,” Gwyn replied, practically wiping tears out of her eyes from how hard she’d been laughing. “Sorry, sorry, I’m done. It’s not like he’s gonna open it or anything, right?”
“Right,” Nesta tentatively agreed.
“So you just have to go over there and ask for it back like a normal person,” Gwyn continued. “Just don’t freak out. It’ll be fine!”
“Just don’t freak out,” Nesta repeated dryly. “If only I’d thought of that one before.”
Gwyn rolled her eyes. “You know what I meant, Nesta.”
“Some therapist you’ll be,” Nesta teased. Still, she knew what her friend meant, and she tried to take some deep breaths even though the idea of Cassian having her package made her want to run and hide and never make eye contact with him again. “Should I just… go over there and ask for it back?”
“That is what the note said,” Emerie said. “Do you want us to come with you?”
Nesta knew her friends were trying to help, but she didn’t need any more witnesses to what was bound to be an excruciatingly embarrassing conversation. “No. It’s fine.”
“Okay,” Emerie answered, shrugging. She neatly stacked her folded laundry and managed to balance it all between her hands as she stood. “I have to finish packing for Cresseida’s, so… good luck.”
“I should probably finish getting through all this,” Gwyn said, motioning to the mountain of paper surrounding her on the couch with a heavy sigh. “But I’ve got your back! From right here.”
“You spend way too much time on TikTok,” Nesta grumbled even though she wanted to laugh.
Gwyn just grinned up at her. “Pot? Kettle?”
“Yeah, yeah,” Nesta replied. She sighed and tried to steel herself, knowing she should just march over there now and get her package back before she lost all her nerve. “I’ll let you know how it goes.”
“Good luck, Nesta,” Emerie said as she started walking upstairs where the bedrooms were. “You can do this.”
“And if not,” Gwyn added with a laugh, “you can always just order another vibrator!”
Nesta flipped Gwyn off before sliding back into her shoes and heading outside. Her friends were supportive in their own way, and she had to admit that Gwyn’s good-natured teasing had helped take the edge off.
Now that Nesta was actually walking next door, though, things were getting a little real. She had no reason to think Cassian would’ve opened her package once he’d seen her name on it, but that didn’t stop her brain from running through several worst case scenarios. What if Cassian had opened her package? What if he hadn’t seen her name on it before he’d opened it and now he knew what was in there? Worse, what if he made fun of her for it?
Logically, Nesta knew Cassian was a normal guy who probably wouldn’t do any of those things, but it didn’t stop her brain from spiraling. But still — what if?
As she raised her hand to ring the doorbell, her heart beating like a drum in her chest, she supposed there was only one way to find out.

More ✨vibes✨ from the fake dating spy au for @candiedsumire and @deadheaddaisy
Since the night of the reception, when they had publicly initiated their “relationship” and T’Pol had come back to Trip’s apartment with him she had just… stayed. Having a Vulcan operative living with him, eating his food, using his shower, and leaving her shampoo scent on his pillows should’ve been strange, but it really wasn’t.
In fact, the weirdest thing about it was how not-that-weird it was. She was quiet and considerate when they had downtime. One night she’d even agreed to watch a movie with him.
She’d caught him staring at her lips following a rather intense kissing scene, but that really was not his fault. He’d expressed cultural curiosity about the differences in ways humans and Vulcans express affection, which was totally relevant to their current predicament, thank you very much. Apparently they do kiss on the mouth sometimes, and that was simply an interesting fact Trip had learned and then not devoted a single waking moment to considering since then.
Basically having her there was like having a really polite roommate that everyone assumed he was sleeping with. So, exactly like his sophomore year of college. He really should call Jeff one of these days.
Between the actual warp drive work, heart attacks, explosions, and shacking up with a Vulcan bodyguard - or “colleague and apparent romantic partner” in her words - and all the accompanying not-weirdness, he hadn’t really considered the calendar or outside life much lately.
Until said colleague and apparent romantic partner sat across the table from him at breakfast and said, “Despite the setbacks the project has experienced, the design is very promising. Stenn agrees we should begin testing on Monday as originally planned.”
“Yeah, I think so too. Wait. On Monday? Monday is the seventh?”
She looked at him curiously, “Yes.”
Trip frowned, “That means tomorrow’s the fifth.”
“That is how dates typically work…”
He flashed her a sour look, “I’m supposed to go to my sister’s graduation this weekend. With … you know, everything, that’s been going on I completely forgot.”
He covered his face in frustration. After a moment he peeked at her from beneath his hand, “Fancy a trip to Florida?”
- - -
Trip bounced his knee rapidly as he waited for the call to connect. A view of his parents’ kitchen lit up the screen.
“You better not be calling to cancel! You promised your sister you’d be here!”
“Well, hello to you too, Mom,” Trip grumbled good-naturedly.
Elaine Tucker set her knife on the kitchen counter, wiped her hands on a towel and looked directly at the screen with a warm smile. “Hi sweetheart.”
Trip’s eyes crinkled up as he basked in parental affection.
“So, are you calling to cancel?” his mother asked as she resumed slicing strawberries.
“No, but, uh… there might be a slight change of plans…” he rubbed the back of his neck unconsciously. “I know it’s short notice, but would you mind if I bring someone?”
There was a brief pause before Elaine asked, “Someone as in a work colleague or someone as in a girlfriend?”
“Well, kinda both, actually.” Stick as close to the truth as possible, he reminded himself.
“T’Pol and I met a couple months ago and really hit it off. She’s one of the Vulcan scientists on the Technology Integration Team. She’s great, really smart and never lets me get away with anything. I think you’ll really like her.”
“Triiip,” Elaine drew out in pained voice, looking up at the ceiling in dismay.
Startled, Trip stared at the screen in concern. He really hadn’t expected that kind of reaction, “Look, Mom, if it’s inconvenient we can—“
“What? Don’t be silly, baby,” she said with a wave of her hand. “Of course you and your guest are both welcome here.”
She huffed. “Your daddy saw a photo of you two at that gala thing a couple weeks back and he insisted you were together. Said that was the face of a man in love if he ever saw one and he should know. I told him not to believe rumors, and now I have to admit he was right! How could you do this to me, son?” she whined playfully.
Trip’s cheeks flushed. He was pretty sure T’Pol could hear the entire conversation from the next room. He laughed awkwardly, “Uh, sorry?”
Elaine smiled again as she slid the sliced berries from the chopping board into a bowl. “Don’t be sorry, he was due a win, and I’m happy you’re happy. So you’re coming in tonight? Dad’s got your bed made up for you.”
“Yeah, we’ll—“
“—Wait, she’s Vulcan.”
“Uh, yeah…”
“Well, I can’t feed her cheesecake! Ok, I gotta go. Call when you’re on the way in. I love you!”
“Love you too,” Trip blinked at the blank screen.
T’Pol stepped into the kitchen and placed her duffel bag on the table beside him, “Your mother is very expressive.”
Trip snorted,”Is that the polite Vulcan way of saying dramatic?”
T’Pol looked down with a twitch of her lips, “I believe there is a human idiom about apple trees that may be applicable.”

Tumblr media
The funeral home didn’t look as mundane with all of the flowers decorating it. A pleasant floral scent was doing its best to cover up the previously musty one, but it still lingered in the air. Gen observes each arrangement quietly. Recognizing some names, others she didn’t. She appreciated the gesture but didn’t have a clue what she was going to do with all of these flowers after the funeral was over.
She walks further into the visitation room avoiding the open casket. The casket spray lying on the closed end looked better than the photos. A mix of red rose and white carnations on top of green ivy and salal. A variety of standing sprays and tabletop bouquets with the same arrangement were scattered around the room. It was all part of a decor package the funeral home offered that Gen hastily picked to make the experience as painless as possible. It all turned out much better than she expected.
“Ms. Taylor?” The man’s voice startles her as she whips around to see Mr. Akins, the funeral director.
Gen smiles at the man. “Morning, Mr. Akins.” He smiles back. “I hope everything is placed to your liking.”
“Everything looks great, thank you.”
“Do you have any other family members coming for the preview?” He asks. Gen shakes her head. “Well, would you like to have a moment alone with your father?”
“I’ve had plenty of time already, thank you.”
Mr. Akins smile didn’t quite reach his eyes. “Very good, ma’am. There are already guests waiting in the lobby. I’ll let them know the visitation has begun.”
Tumblr media
Nearly two hours later and her head was pounding. Her cheeks were hurting from faking smiles. If she had to listen to one more person tell her how much Gabriel had missed her and how they couldn’t believe she had stayed gone so long she was going to blow her brains out.
The line finally starts to thin out and Gen feels herself relax a little. She spots a mess of blonde curls a few people back and tenses again. She avoids his gaze until he’s right in front of her, his eyes soft as he peers down at her. It wasn’t a look of pity but of understanding. Despite their years apart, no one in the room knew how she felt in this moment better than he did.
“What are you doing here?” Gen asks quietly.
Will shoves his hands into his dress pants pockets and bounces on the balls of his feet. He shrugs and smiles. “What else do I have to do on a weekend other than attend my ex-girlfriend’s estranged father’s funeral?”
Gen laughs. “Literally anything else sounds better than this. You shouldn’t torture yourself at my expense.”
Will bobs his head from one side to the other. “Maybe not, but I figure I at least owe you a drink or something after I showed my ass yesterday.”
Maybe it was the sweetness of the gesture. Maybe it was the exhaustion. Maybe it was how good he looked in those dress clothes. Or maybe she was just desperate to get out of that damn funeral home, but she decides to take Will up on his offer.
It was just a drink. That was all. An “I’m sorry for being a jerk” drink. She owes him one of those by her count, as well.
Tumblr media
Luckily, the funeral went by quickly with no complications. There was no graveside service and Gen was thankful she had made that decision. She wasn’t sure she could sit through another fake speech about the man.
“Hmph.”
Gen turns to see Will leaning against a pew toying with the knot of his tie. A look of discomfort was plastered across his face. She smirks and walks up to him. Loosening the tie she raises it over his head and hands it to him.
“I practically had to threaten you to wear a tie on our prom night and you wear one willingly to my father’s funeral? You really are sucking up.”
Will chuckles. “I’ll have you know I wear ties to all major occasions now, thank you.”
“Mmm. How very grown up of you, William.” Gen says, smiling.
“Yeah, I’ve done a bit of that.” He says it so plainly Gen couldn’t quite catch the meaning behind it. The look on his face didn’t give anything away either. He certainly didn’t appear angry so she didn’t overthink it.
“You ready to get out of here?” Gen asks. He nods. “Where are we going?”
“We can always go to Gabriel’s. I’m staying there as of this morning until I can get it sold. To no one’s surprise, there is plenty of liquor there.”
“Hell yeah, I’m down. He always bought the good shit.”
Gen places a hand on his shoulder as she starts to walk out of the room. “Great, you can also help me start to clean some of his shit out while you’re there.”
Will’s mouth drops open as he follows her outside. “Uh-uh, that’s bullshit! I didn’t sign up for that!
Tumblr media
Will helps Gen bring her bags into the home, the floors creaking as he sits them down in the foyer.
Fuck.” They say in unison.
Gen definitely had her work cut out for her. Hundreds of newspapers, magazines, and books were in stacks all over the house. Some of the stacks were nearly as tall as she was. The kitchen was a disaster. She didn’t even dare to open the refrigerator and she was pretty sure the mold in one of the bowls in the sink had developed its own space program. Every surface of the home was covered in a thick layer of dust and it clearly hadn’t been cleaned at all in years.
She’s seen worse episodes of Hoarders. She could handle this.
Her biggest concern was somewhere to sleep. She avoids her father’s room because fuck that. She wasn’t quite ready to go into her childhood room yet. So that left the guest room. She opens the door and it appears to be perfectly intact. Thank God for that.
Gen shut the door quickly.
“Well, the good news is, I have a place to sleep.” she says loudly.
“I have better news.” Will yells from across the house. “I found the good shit!” His head pokes out from around the corner as he raises a bottle of liquor in his hands.
“The couch is still in good condition too. Get your ass in here.”
Tumblr media
“Okay, so you’re telling me that’s you?”
Will grins and nods. “That’s me.”
Gen blinks rapidly and points at his phone where the song was playing. “That is you? It sounds like an animal!”
Will threw his head back laughing. “They’re called pig squeals, Vivvy.” Gen starts to say something about the nickname but was too occupied by the smile on his face. It was a smile that spread across his whole face causing his cheeks to crease, showing his dimples. Her favorite part was his scrunched nose and how his eyes crinkled around the corners.
A warmth that she had not felt in years carves its way into her chest and spreads through her. The temptation to let it consume her was strong, but she shakes her head, almost as if she was telling her body no, and pushes it away.
“That’s definitely a sound I have not heard in music before.”
“Oh come on.. none of the artists you work with do pig squeals?” Will nudges her with his elbow.
Gen looks at Will and snorts, causing him to laugh again.
“Not quite. Most of the music I mix is indie pop or sickeningly sweet bubblegum pop that makes you want to shove the nearest sharp object into your ear drums.” She explains with a sarcastic smile.
Will sucks in a breath. “Yeah, I don’t envy you at all.”
“It’s not all bad. The pay is great and I love L.A. Everything I could ever want is there.”
Will scoffs and takes a swig of his drink.
“What?”
Will shook his head. “Nothing.” He was quiet and refusing to look at her now. A crack on the coffee table had suddenly become very interesting to him. Gen watches him run his index finger over it a few times before looking at his face. His left eyebrow was cocked and his jaw was working overtime. He was definitely upset.
She doesn’t get a chance to pry again because her phone starts to ring. Natalie’s name shows up on the screen and Gen groans at the bad timing. She knew if she didn’t answer that Natalie would call her incessantly.
“Hey, Nat, now’s not the best time. Can you ca-“
“GEEEEENNNNNNNN!!!!!” She hears both Natalie and Ezra yell on the other end. They were obviously plastered. Perfect.
“Guys this is no-“ She tries, once again.
“Gen Taylor! When are you coming home?! We miss you!” Ezra yells.
“I’m not sure yet, Ez.” She says, leaning back against the couch. “I’m gonna have to stay longer than I thought.”
“Boooooo!” There was Natalie. “It should be illegal to keep you in that horrible town, Gen. You need to come back home where you belong!” She says it so loud it makes Gen wince. She silently hopes Will didn’t hear it.
Evidently it was loud enough for Will to hear because he pushes himself off the couch in a huff and stalks to the kitchen. She hears him throw his ice in the sink and fill his glass with water.
“It’s not a big deal, Natalie. I’ll take care of everything and be home soon.”
This time she hears the glass being thrown in the sink.
“Listen, I really have to go. I’ll call you guys later.”
“BYE GEEEEEEN-“ She cuts them off before they can continue. She sighs and gets up from her seat. Guess she was going to have to deal with this sooner or later.
Gen steps quietly around the corner of the kitchen to see Will at the sink, his back facing her. His hands rest on the counter, head lulling between his shoulders. She stands there, fidgeting and trying to come up with something to say. Will beats her by breaking the silence first.
“So, Los Angeles is your home now, huh?”
Gen sighs. “It’s where I live, Will.”
“That’s not what I asked.” He turns around and crosses his arms in front of his chest. “You consider Los Angeles to be your home?”
Gen gazes at him momentarily. “It’s where I live. It’s where my job is. All of my friends live there. So, yeah, I consider it to be my home.”
“What happened to New York?”
“It was great, but I got a promotion. So, they sent me to Los Angeles.” She pauses to consider her next comment. “Clearly I’m not as weak as you thought I was.”
“Viv, I never said you were weak.” Will scoffs.
“I believe your exact words were ‘You’ll never make it in New York. They’ll eat you alive.’ Am I wrong?”
“I didn’t say that because I thought you were weak.”
“Then why did you say it?!” Gen yells
“Because you didn’t belong in New York!” Will yells back. “Just like you don’t belong in Los Angeles!”
“Yeah, because I belong here in Westwood? Suffocating here…. with you? Working at a shitty studio while we’re barely able to pay our bills. Giving up my dreams to make you happy while I’m dying inside?”
Will’s face twists in pain at her words. Gen has never wanted to disappear more than she did at this moment. She did feel suffocated when she was here but it wasn’t his fault. Why the fuck was she like this?
“I- I thought we were happy.” Will stutters, looking down at his feet.
Gen sighs and runs her hand through her hair. “We were, Will. I shouldn’t have said that.”
“I just don’t understand why you wanted to leave so badly.”
“Jesus Christ, don’t you get it? I didn’t want to leave you, I wanted to leave here. I wanted to get away from all the fucking memories of my parents, and start over somewhere new. I wanted our life together to be more than some tiny town in New Jersey where we were constantly living paycheck to paycheck. I wanted to stop having to look over my shoulder to make sure my asshole father wasn’t behind me everywhere I went. I wanted to be able to start a career and get comfortable financially so you could start a band and do what you love, too. All of my plans involved you. I tried to explain this but you couldn’t see past me leaving.”
“Viv- I..”
“When you told me I couldn’t go, I was devastated. It made me feel like you didn’t believe in me. What made it worse was that you just watched me leave. You didn’t even try to stop me.”
“Baby, I was angry. I was so angry for a long time. I was an idiot and waited too long. I tried calling you several months later but you had already changed your number. I couldn’t find your name or address anywhere. It was like you disappeared.”
Gen laughs humorlessly, “Yeah, Will, I did that on purpose. Mostly because of Gabriel but also because I was angry too. I changed my last name and now everyone calls me Gen even though I fucking hate it. And you wanna know why?”
Will gazes at her but doesn't respond. She walks closer to him with tears in her eyes. As soon as he sees them, he inhales sharply.
“It’s because I couldn’t fucking stand the thought of anyone but you calling me Viv. Or Vivvy. It made my fucking skin crawl.” Gen pushes a finger into his chest. “And you stand there and call me both as soon as you lay eyes on me. They just roll off your tongue like you never stopped saying them and I hate it because I can’t let you back in my head. I can’t.”
Will grabs her wrist gently and brings her hand to his face. Gen attempts to pull it back but his grip tightens. He leans into her touch and kisses the palm of her hand. A quiet sob leaves her and he shushes her gently, kissing his way up her arm and to her face. He kisses away the tears falling down her cheeks. His lips ghost over hers as he cups her face. They stare at each other for a moment, both trying to determine if the moment was real.
Will decides he had waited long enough. He had been dying to taste her again for so long. Pressing his lips gently against hers, he feels her go rigid then relax. Her body melts into his as one of his hands makes its way into her hair. He swipes his tongue against her bottom lip and she gives him access.
She tastes even better than he remembers. The mixture of peppermint and whiskey invades his senses. He could kiss her forever and never get tired of it. He never wants the moment to end. She was here. She was perfect. She was his, again.
At least, so he thought.
He feels her tense again, her grip around his waist loosens slightly. He wraps his arm around her waist hoping to keep her close but she was already separating their lips. She stares at him, panting.
“We can’t do this. I’m sorry.” She says as she takes a few steps back.
“What do you mean?” He asks, confused.
“I mean we can’t do this. It’s not a good idea. I’m only here to get this house cleaned up and sold and then I'm going back home. I’m not interested in whatever this is.”
Will stares at her in stunned silence. She won’t even look at him.
“Baby...”
“Will, just… Please leave.” Gen says sternly, she turns slightly and points in the direction of the door.
He starts towards the door and stops in front of her. Turning to face her, she still avoids his gaze.
“Just so you know. This is your home. Not this house but this ‘horrible town’ you’re in right now. Not a single one of those people in L.A. will ever care about you the way that I do.”
Will storms out the door, slamming it shut as he leaves.

V Had been Chilling for a while in her Room into Dinner today as she Was bored for the whole day and Was just now heading to the kitchen to see if N was making anything. Sure … She much rather be home than be in another Rain storm with  that Jock and Violet haired Smart ass but she wanted something exciting to happen. Maybe Her Brother is slightly right about possibly looking for a Job. At least it will be something to do for the day and getting pay is a plus in her book.
But while She was having these thoughts with herself she saw N there in the middle of the hallway with a bit of a smirk on his face. What was he doing? What ever it was she was already annoyed.
“Hey there my Mad Sister. How’s it been shaking today? N then saids to V while pointing at her.
“What did you just say to me!?” V says back to him in a miffed and confused tone at what in the world her brother just called her.
“I learned Gen Z slang from Uzi today. Isn’t it pretty Rad?.”  He explains to her.
“No. It is definitely not.” V tells him in a bland tone.
“Do you want me to continue? I got more words I learned.”
“Please don’t. I’m already older than you and I don’t need you spewing things that make me feel even older.” V tells him while putting up her hand.
“Are you sure? Is my coolness too much for you?” N then says while smirking.
“Yeah. I’m going to be back in my room until dinner and pretend this conversation never happened.”
So V headed back to her room leaving N there looking a bit like an idiot for a few until Uzi walked into the Hallway and saw him standing there still.
“Let me guess. You used your new knowledge of Slang on V and she didn’t understand it?” She asks him wondering what he was doing here.
“Yep. Maybe I should limit these new words to only you sometimes.” He tells Her slightly embarrassed at that fact.
“Good idea my Beloved Boyfriend.” She tells him honestly.
“Now… I gotta dip to my stream soon so could make some dinner for me while on stream?”
“Sure thing Bae. You can bet on that.”
“Ok. Calling me Bae is just Weird even by Slang standards. How about you stick to my name or girlfriend.” She then saids while looking up at him.
”Ok Uzi. Anything for you.” He Tells her while smiling back to Her.

Hiii, can I request E12 with Alina Starkov please?
Prompt: E12. Sitting by the fire
A/N: I was supposed to publish something else entirely next for a character I last wrote a piece for 4 years ago, but it's Jessie's birthday so I'm publishing this Alina piece instead 🥳
Tumblr media
Every year on Alina’s birthday, you went out to set up a camp in the forest over the weekend. It had become a habit since the Darkling died, you didn’t even really know where the idea came from. It just popped into your head one day, a day of relaxing together with your girlfriend. It didn’t have anything special arranged, just being and enjoying each other.
This night was colder than usual at this time of the year, so you set up a fireplace. The fire wouldn’t agree to light up at first, making you struggle, but finally you got it to work and soon, you were adding logs as the flame grew bigger. You sat back, staring into the flames for a moment and then turning your head to look at Alina.
She had wrapped herself up in a thick blanket, and the sight made you chuckle a little.
“I take it you’re cold?” you mumbled, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
She nodded. “My past Sun Summoner powers don’t really warm me up anymore, it feels like I’m much more easily cold now.”
You sighed, pulling her against you, rubbing her back and side. “Hopefully we’ll be able to sleep at night. Maybe we should have pushed this back.”
She glanced up at you. “No, it's fine. With you here, I think I can manage.”
You grinned and kissed her forehead, pulling her head to rest against your chest. She closed her eyes and you sat in silence for a moment.
“I’m glad we do this, every year,” she mumbled against your shirt. “Coming here, spending the night here. Just simply being, relaxing. Knowing we can have moments like this, me, you, and the silence.”
“Me too. I always look forward to your birthday because of this.” You laughed a little. “I don’t know if that’s silly.”
Alina shook her head, shifting slightly so she could look up at you. “No, not really. We both need this day.”
You hummed, glancing at the sunset that had already started to disappear under the dark blue sky. “It’s later than we planned. We should probably retreat to the tent soon.”
“Not yet,” Alina mumbled. “Just a moment more. Let’s wait until the fire dies down.”
You sighed, but complied. “All right. But only because you’re the birthday girl.”
She let out a soft laugh, more like a snort, before she fell quiet again. The fire still crackled in front of you, illuminating Alina’s face as her breathing slowed down, and you barely kept in a laugh yourself. Getting her up to get to the tent would be its own challenge, one you weren’t particularly eager to conquer. She was a major sleepyhead with you. But to be honest, you weren’t minding it, not really. You could pretend you were, but having her there, against you, feeling her breathing… it reminded you how lucky you were. To get to be with her after all those battles, neither of you had died. Even when you’d grow old and fragile while she remained young for centuries, these moments would be cherished til the end of times.
The fire was slowly dying down, its warmth waning. Alina was already asleep against you, and you knew that you should wake her up in a moment. But, just a moment longer, you chose to sit there and let her rest.
You cupped the back of her head as you brought your lips against his hair. A moment longer, you promised yourself. The temperature was quickly going down, and your skin was already getting goosebumps. It was uncomfortable in a way, but at the same time having Alina next to you like this was addicting, and you wanted to prolong it for as long as possible.
But eventually, the embers were dimming down, and the cold started to be unbearable. You stroked her hair. “Alina,” you whispered against her hair. “Alina, it’s time to go to the tent.”
She stirred, whining slightly, but you shook her, first gently, then with slightly more force. She sighed and opened her eyes, looking around. “Sorry.”
You chuckled and shook your head. “Let’s go before I freeze.”
“I didn’t mean to fall asleep on you like that,” she mumbled, letting you help her stand up.
“It’s your birthday, you can sleep against me all you want. But let’s just do it inside the tent, where I won’t freeze.”
She hummed, a tired smile spreading on her face. You crouched down to gather the few things you had with you by the campfire — your shared flask, her gloves and the book she had been reading while you struggled with lighting up the fire. You stomped on the embers a few times, hearing the lingering fire hiss, before you turned and took Alina’s hand.
The tent you had wasn’t anything fancy, nothing you could see a literal Saint to sleep in. Alina still didn’t think of herself as a Saint, but that’s what she was in the eyes of the world, and it was a running joke in between you, even when it annoyed Alina sometimes. A few blankets, pillows, thin mattresses. Just a regular tent.
Alina plopped down on the mattress as you zipped the tent back up and by the time you turned, she was already snuggling beneath the sheets, in the progress of taking off her dress.
You undressed as well and soon made your way beside her, shifting close to her once you both laid down. You tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear again, smiling. No words were needed at that moment, you both knew what the other would say if you spoke. And besides, you were both too tired to talk. She blinked at you slowly as she struggled to keep her eyes open, before shifting again, until she was pressed against you, her face in the crook of your neck. You put your arm around her waist, waiting for a moment again.
“Good night,” she mumbled finally against your skin, and you smiled, running your hand up and down his back once.
“Happy birthday, Alina.”

ANOTHER ROMANCE UPDATE. ON TUMBLR. MY PUBLIC BLOG. THAT I PRETEND IS PRIVATE.
**this is a long one, just a heads up**
In my last update I mentioned that we weren’t using titles like boyfriend/girlfriend. I knew he was waiting until May to ask me officially for certain personal reasons. AND NOW THAT HAS HAPPENED! I AM OFFICIALLY HIS GIRLFRIEND AND HE IS OFFICIALLY MY BOYFRIEND. I’m posting this a couple days after that happened. He asked me on May 2nd and he bought rainbow roses and a bunch of twizzlers since they’re my favorite candy. It was so cute and he was so cute and all of it makes my heart race. Now I can stop teasing him about it.
I’m so happy all the time now and I can’t remember the last time I felt like this. Or if I’ve ever felt like this. It’s a kind of happiness that’s different from what I’ve known. It’s not fading away or small passing moments. It’s always there and it just grows whenever I’m near him. And even when I’m with him, it’s not the same as being given a gift or getting good news. It’s a peaceful happiness. Everything just feels right. Like every problem doesn’t matter or can be solved if we’re together. It’s like something just locked into place, as it should be.
It’s so crazy how time ticks by when you’re happy. We haven’t even been together for 3 months, soon to be though. But somehow it feels like we’ve been together for so much longer. Like we’ve become so comfortable and I almost can’t remember what life was like without him. Or how I thought I’d want it to be that way. Now my weekends are filled with fun plans with him. And all I do is countdown the days and hours until I’m with him again.
Also in my last update I mentioned seeing a future with him. A clear image of us together in a home and maybe kids, not sure about that part yet. But I can see it and feel comfortable and good about it. And sometimes he mentions things like that too. I can’t explain the amount of joy I get when he references big life things in the future with me. Yesterday, we were talking about owning a home together and where we’d want to live. What we’d want our house to be like. And then we started talking about our lifestyle together in the home. All of it was absolutely perfect to me. And this probably seems like a small, insignificant thing to most, but he said something that made me so happy. He mentioned wanted to setup a gaming area where we could have have our own rigs back to back. Kind of like a his and hers gaming setup. And that has been a dream of mine forever. To find a partner who wants to do something like that, and he brought it up first…. I swear I’ve hit the jackpot.
There’s only one downside to all of this and it has to do with me. All of this happiness comes with anxiety. I can’t stop myself from worrying about losing him. Even though he has given zero signs that he wants that happen, my defective brain can’t let it go. Now I just feel scared of doing the wrong thing or saying the wrong thing and ruining it all. Or sometimes I just think about myself and question how it is even possible that he could be attracted to me in any way. It feels unfair to me that I got someone so amazing and he got me. And all of that worries me because I don’t want to imagine life without him. I don’t want to think about how there might come a time when I’m still attached and in love and he isn’t. I don’t want to give up on this life I’ve pictured with him. And maybe that’s selfish of me, to impose my dream upon him like it’s his responsibility to make it happen. Like he’s responsible for keeping me happy regardless of his own happiness. And I could never do that someone. So I take it one day at a time and I just remain hopeful that those days never run out.
And I know I’m being dramatic and overthinking as he’s now become comfortable telling me. “You think too much” he says to me. And I know he’s right. But that’s part of the bargain. So hopefully he never becomes tired of telling me to stop thinking about it too much or comforting me while my brain does it’s own thing. And maybe over time I can embrace this new type of happiness and let the thoughts and worries go. Just live out my days as I want to. Happy and in love with him.
