my favorite part about the 5x08 ending scene is that tim truly did not go into the conversation (yes i know that lucy started it) trying to get lucy to break up with chris so that she could be with him. i feel like you can tell from his “no, uh” reaction to her bringing in the we factor that the we factor wasn’t what was pushing him to make her be honest with herself about staying with chris just because it’s comfortable. like MAN he just really wanted what was best for her in that situation and BOY DID IT WORK OUT FOR HIM and he took that leap straight off the cliff and she caught him and now they’re going on a date and there will be complications but THEYRE GOING ON A DATE
