My hot take is the US should revamp the continent numbers. This would solve nothing but it would give gen Z something to complain about and bond over just like millennials and Pluto.

I propose we adopt the 5 continent model, so just two changes from the current:

Acknowledge the Americas as one continent (as many Latin American countries do, so we’re all on the same page there)

Group Europe and Asia together. Apologies to Asia on this one but this *would* knock Europe down a peg and force everybody to realize just how small it is.

Alternatively, we add 5 more continents to really make it interesting.
