Hey barz :] It’s late, and instead of working on the Pogtopia TNT duo comic I started tonight (because comics are lowkey so intimidating), I came to your blog to ask you some questions:

How often do you think about the fact that Revivebur has canonical PTSD related to swords? I think about it a normal about and it doesn’t add extra angst to anything I write, especially not a death scene or anything (some of the biggest lies ever told)

Does everyone it this fandom who likes c!Wilbur and was in a toxic relationship at one point also project that onto c!MAD duo, or is that just like a me thing? (This question is more of a joke, but still)

Any c!Wilbur headcanons that you wanna share?

I think about c!wilburs ptsd a normal amount! I never particularly think about his trauma revolving swords tho. I think back to the moment in the finale stream where I think c!tommy pulls out a sword in anger (excuse me it’s been over a year since I watched the final stream) and I think about how that would’ve affected c!wilbur. I like to think his body tensed up and his eyes widened and he flinched back a little in that moment. Thinking it was happening again.

Maybe. I wouldn’t be suprised but I never rlly think abt c!mad duo a lot. I should more tho their dynamic has so much potential

-I like to think he’s the kinda guy to refuse to admit he’s disabled/Neurodivergent/Mentally ill. Nope i’m fine type beat. Powering thru the chronic pain and the autistic meltdowns and manic episodes like it’s nothing

-Tourette’s syndrome. I’ve never talked abt this headcanon before but I have tics irl and I feel like he would have them.

-He is a big fan of other forms of art. I think he would paint and write novels he will never show to anyone

-He lost all pain tolerance after revival.

-He has a speech impediment. He grew out of it but it never fully went away

-Pathetically anxious. No comment

-Shakes/trembles constantly. He’s just colder now

-He never knows when he is sick. He will often go weeks without realizing it and usually has to have someone tell him he’s sick (if it’s not bad enough)

-I think he would age regress to cope. In secret of course (c!quackity knows)

-speaking of c!quackity, c!wilbur never realized he was secretly crushing on him bc he never picked up on the social cues

i am polling songs album by album beginning with spirit phone and going back in time until we reach clown circus

honestly the worst part about the whole "im neurodivergent so u can't criticize me for liking dream!!! dsmp is my hyperfixation!" thing is that like 99% of them only have adhd. first of all a hyperfixation is far easier and less debilitating to get rid of than a special interest so it should be no problem to stop supporting that shit, second of all u KNOW they don't give a shit abt dream calling autistic ppl the r slur because it doesn't affect them personally since they're not autistic. tldr I hate all dsmp stans but I hate non-autistic dsmp stans the most

I’m not autistic so I won’t add to that part but as someone with adhd who has hyperfixated on problematic media, you really can just stop consuming that media, and if that’s too hard, just stop supporting them! Ease yourself off it slowly, just interact with fan works, don’t support them directly. It really doesn’t take too much effort to not support racists smh

oh also i might talk more abt this in depth later but part of the reason i’m not super into the dsmp anymore is a) bc i don’t like a lot of the ccs very much and b) it got kind of hard for me to distinguish rp from them just playing minecraft. maybe it’s just me being autistic but since there wasn’t ever really super clear indications of when a stream shifts from canon to them fucking around, i got confused p easily

i stg it was pretty much the “you were my BROTHER anakin” moment or whatever we used to goof about this stuff and then he suddenly started saying “maybe minecraft man is okay.” “hey i’m going to watch more of these streamers now and talk about it.” and it’s not like i can DO anything about it lol but a lot of the shit involved with these people is connected to a legit trigger of mine CONNECTED TO MY EXPERIENCES DUE TO ME BEING AUTISTIC and idk how to verbalize it without feeling like i’m raining on his parade lmao

yeah i get that kgbrhrgbjgrbrgj my ex was a big dsmp fan and basically just used me as a vent to rant abt it which i was fine w...until it became the Only thing he would talk to me about and i'd have to kind of occasionally remind him that Hey, One Of Those People Kinda Goes Directly Against Everything I've Ever Stood For As An Autistic Person.

my advice is to just tell him. like it's better he knows your boundaries Now then having them come up later in an argument or some shit like that. if he throws a huge fit about it and gets super offended then he probably has never had ur best interests in mind and you can drop him. i've lived too many years allowing myself to be used and manipulated to let anyone else do it to me again and so i have a "me first" mentality about interpersonal relations

like i understand that there are decent aspects to the thing but there are also some Glaringly Bad Aspects that i think dsmp fans need to be better aware of and cognizant of when talking about it to someone who may be affected by those things. like you kinda cant escape dream even if you Don't like him bc his name is literally In The Title.
