MY BEST FRIEND'S SISTER

PART-II

As Gray sat on the sofa occasionally stealing glances at his crush who was sitting with the girls at the opposite side of the living room.

Whenever he saw her, his heartbeat increases to 10 folds making his face red.

Natsu found Gray's behaviour suspicious ever since his sister told him how she accidentally bumped Gray while coming back home.

And how Gray reacted when he found out that Juvia was his sister.

While the boys were bickering all this time, Gray remained silent and unmused.

"Hey Ice-princess, why are you silent? Usually you are the one to start off any kind of insults. What's wrong with you?"

Gajeel taunted him and nudged Gray's chest with his elbow.

"Shut up, I'm not someone who has gonna crazy like you guys. I don't encourage such idiocy. Try to act according to your age, geez."

Gray said to the group in a calm voice but loud enough for the girls to hear.

Except Juvia, everyone's eyes twitched at Gray's talk. They knew something was definitely wrong with him.

As Gray is always the one to began any kind of bickering with his tactless counter.

Gray proudly ruffled his bangs to side and looked towards the girls to shoot a smile at Juvia but to his dismay, she left the place and was in the kitchen.

The girls giggled at his unfortunate attempt, "Gray bad luck. She couldn't see your handsome face, idiot." Erza spat which made him embarrassed.

"Shut up" Gray suckled to corner. Natsu silently observed his best friend's behaviour.

"Guys, it's almost dinner time. Go wash your hands. Let's have dinner and then we can play." Juvia called everyone out humbly.

After having dinner, till now Gray couldn't actually speak to her and was trying to make conversation with her privately without drawing Natsu's or other's attention.

Now the group decided to play truth or dare on Erza's orders. By now the girls have changed into their PJs while boys were still in their normal dress as per Natsu's order.

He doesn't want them to be semi-naked in front of his innocent sister.

As the game progressed, Erza asked others all the embarrassing stuffs and gave them task which would cause warmth to spread in their body.

When it was Juvia's turn, she chose truth seeing the fate of others, it seemed safe to her.

They didn't know what to ask her. So Lucy asked her, "So Juvia, are you still single or committed?"

Juvia blushed while Gray silently watched her for her answer as he gulped hoping her to be single.

"Juvia is still single, Lucy-San. Until today, she didn't meet anyone interesting. She hopes to pursue a sweet relationship just like you."

She smiled at both Lucy and her brother making them blush.

"No Juvia, I won't permit you to date anyone randomly. Did you hear that!!" Natsu huffed making her sad.

"Hey Natsu, you shouldn't interfere in her personal life. I'm sure even your mom will agree to me." Lucy smacked her boyfriend to make her future sister-in-law happy which wassuccessful.

Juvia giggled, "Serves you right, onii-chan."

After hearing her answer, Gray was glad that she is still single but one of her sentence made Gray to wonder, 'What did she mean by until today?'

Soon the game got over and the group shifted their attention to plan an outing next week.

Gray excused himself to use the washroom but it looks like the downstairs washroom had some mending works to be done still.

"Hey Natsu, where do I go for a loo, man? It looks like I can't use this one." Gray pointed out the washroom.

"Yeah, sorry about that. Just go up and turn left, use that one." Natsu soon instructed him and got engaged in planning.

Gray looked for Juvia but again she wasn't there. So he went as per Natsu's instruction.

As Gray tried to push the door, it opened on it's own accord to reveal Juvia. He stopped his hand in mid-air which was quiet near her chest.

Both lost in each other's eyes. Once Juvia snapped out, she squeaked making him snap out. He covered her mouth to muffle the noise.

"Hey calm down, I didn't mean to do any perverted stuff. I came to use the restroom. Just don't shout. Promise me you won't then I will take my hand."

Gray asked her in low voice. She nodded her head.

Gray sighed in relief, "Sorry there, Juvia was just startled that's all. She knows Gray-San won't do any perverted stuffs." She smiled brightly making him blush.

"Juvia, don't call me Gray-San just Gray is enough. Really I couldn't believe you are flame-brain's sister. How come I never knew about your existence until today?"

He asked her to clear his doubt.

She giggled, "Gray is making it look like Juvia is an illegitimate child.

  For most part of her life, she stayed with her father in other town and occasionally visit mom and onii-chan.

       Now her father has gotten married for a 2nd time, she felt uncomfortable so she shifted with mom here last month.

     So from coming week, she will be starting school most probably from Gray's grade." She informed him.

Gray's eyes widened hearing that she is going to be in same class as him.

"Oh I see, that's good idea. Can I ask you something while playing truth or dare, you said you were not interested in anyone until today. What do you mean by that?"

She blushed and bowed down to hide her redness, "So Gray noticed that well Juvia met someone today according to her dream qualities.

  She came to knew even his characters are matched her expectations. And she wants to pursue a relationship if he agrees."

She said in low voice which Gray couldn't hear so he had to bent down a little to match her height and to hear her speak.

Once Juvia lifted her face, it was mere centimetres away from his face which instantly made both of them to blush.

Gray pulled back, "Oh again sorry about that. I didn't mean to do any stuffs. Man, what's happening to me today?" He muttered under his breath.

Juvia giggled looking at his expression and then Gray shot a grin. "Well where did you meet him?" He asked while scratching his nape.

Juvia crossed her arms against her chest, "Well, why is Gray this curious? Don't you have a girlfriend?"

Gray reacted in a funny way, "No…..no...no…, I'm single. Just I wanted to know why a cute, pretty girl like you is still single?"

Juvia smirked, "Gray finds Juvia to be cute and pretty, huh!!!"

"Of course, I have an eye for every beautiful masterpiece and never fails to appreciate any kind of beauty." Gray grinned and winked at her.

"Gray is such a flirt. So to answer your previous question, Juvia met that person in road today. She bumped into him and fell on him.

 Slowly as time went on, that person came to her home and she came to know about his characters.

Now Juvia has given enough hints to eventually find that person who stole her heart." She blushed and walked away pushing him to side.

It took few minutes for Gray to realise the said person was him. He smiled and soon caught hold of wrist to stop from moving further.

"So it's me you were interested all along,right?"

Juvia slowly turned her head to meet his dark blue orbs and nodded in agreement with a huge blush on her face which made her look cute.

Gray smiled and pulled her close,

"For your knowledge,even I have a crush on you from the time my eyes fell on you. So will you go out with me,Juvia?" He asked her in hesitation.

"Sure Gray, Juvia would love too." She exclaimed happily.

Then they exchanged their numbers.

Soon their relationship blossomed into new genuine feelings which was mutual.

They kept their relationship secret from others not that they didn't trust them but they don't want to be get caught by Natsu.

But every good stuff needs to come out into bright light right, like that, one day their relationship came out.
