Honestly I'm pretty bitter at people who have money to fucking travel all over or whatever. It changes the way I feel when they open their mouth about anything political directed at me. My brain just turns to "you and your lowkey bouigie self need to get out of my face rn". (Which isn't ok bc supposedly we usually have similar beliefs.) Or when they have a rich family to run home to if shxt goes south. Money has always been such a big issue in my life. When I was reeeallly little though we had it but it wasn't fully a concept for me. And my family DID get to travel all the time, but I was young and thought it was commonplace and took it for granted. Now traveling to the places I used to go all the time just sounds like dreams that my mom & I hope for. Anyway, I'm trying to save up money to go to Catalina Island with my partner on my birthday since the ferry is free on your bday. Ballin' on a budget.
