The idea of her accidentally starting that with her giving him the bandana had been eating at my head for what feels like forever. Everyone else also apparently had the same idea lol. Also big on the idea that Cass looks for Raph because even tho he left her alone and all that, she still cares for him and wants him to see their kid even if they never become a thing again. She can still care, but she gonna be bitter about it

Casey watched the net sink under the water. She kept her face carefully blank as she tossed the bait into the water. Small fish flopped against the surface of the water, already taking to the worms. She took a deep breath as she stared off into the water, a flickering of red scales catching her attention.

Part of her wanted to jump into the sea to follow it. She watched as a stupid fish jumped into the air, a vain attempt to free itself from their net.

It wasn’t him.

It was never him.

She took another deep breath and continued tying the knots for the net. She furiously forced away all her thoughts as she fumbled through the knots. The last thing she needed was for the annoying purple one to see her having a moment.

Her stomach clenched as she tried to keep her face steady. She didn’t need to think about him. That was behind her. She was happy now. She’d made a life for herself without him. He wasn’t important anymore.

She pinched her lips as she tied up the net to the rig. No need to dwell on the nitty gritty. She was doing her job and nothing else. No other reason she was at sea. Just a job to pay the bills.

Something tugged on her pant leg, tearing her from her thoughts. She looked down, patting her son’s head absently as she moved to tie the last knot.

“Mom.”

She didn’t say anything, just nodded her head. He apparently didn’t take the hint.

“Mom. Mom. Mom. Momma. Mom. Mom. Mooooommm.”

“What do you need?” She asked quietly. “You’re supposed to be in bed bug.”

He stared at the clear open night and grinned. “I like the dark.” He said, instead of answering why he was up. He walked to the edge of the boat and tipped his head over the side. “Mother I yearn for the waves.”

She rolled her eyes. He was a strange little guy when he wanted to be. Where had he even learned that word? Certainly not from her crew mates. His tail was practically wagging as he bounced on his feet, excitedly pointing towards the waves.

“Tell ya what bug,” she hummed, “We can go swimming tomorrow when it’s morning, yeah?”

“But I wanna swim now.” He pouted.

“Well I can’t see you in the dark so we’re gonna have to wait.”

He nodded solemnly as he sulked off to his room. She would ask April later if they could anchor somewhere for a bit so he could swim where she could watch him. She turned her head back to the waves, hoping to see, if even for just a glimpse, another hint of that familiar shimmering red.

Kendra stared dumbfounded at the shell in front of her. The creature, whose name she had recently learned was Donatello, was looking at her expectantly. What on earth did he want?

Sure they sat and watched the sea, occasionally talking about their lives. But never really anything deep. They were friends. And just barely at that. Their trust for each other was nearly nonexistent, both wary of their actions.

This was- this was new.

He pushed it closer when she didn’t pick it up. His bandanna was just barely hanging onto his head, the knot un fraying before her eyes as he pushed the shell a little closer again. She picked it up, slowly turning it around in her hand.

She smiled awkwardly before setting it aside. “… Thanks I guess.” She mumbled, “I’ll put it on my desk.”

He smiled that stupid little smile as she tied a new bandanna to his head, this time a little tighter. “Oh, ok you’re glowing now. That’s- that’s pretty cool actually. Wow.”

He blinked a few times before pulling out a variety of trinkets, placing them in a bear pile at her feet. How odd. The moonlight glittered against his scales as he dipped back under the waves back to what she assumed was an underwater cave of sorts. He didn’t look like the kind of guy to have a decked out anemone or palace under the waves. “Aight.” She said standing up, “I’m just gonna head back then.”

She gripped the shell in her hand as she climbed the ramp to their boat. The rest of the baubles he had left behind were small purple rocks and bits of coral. Those were safely tucked away in her pocket.

The shell was pretty, its shiny and iridescent hue reflecting the gentle glow of the moon light. Shells didn’t look like that. It was almost as if the thing had been cleaned. How strange. Where on earth had he found that at the bottom of the ocean? Some ships must have dropped their cargo a while ago in a crash.

“Careful dragon.” A voice came from the side.

Cassandra Jones. She rolled her eyes as she turned to face her. “Don’t you have a kid to be watching?”

“He’s asleep.” She said pointedly, eyeing the shell. “All I’m saying is don’t get too attached. They’re not what they seem.”

She didn’t say a word as she headed back to her room. She set the shell on her desk, its shimmery hue lessened by the dark of her room. She smiled despite herself as she looked at it. It felt special somehow. The rest of the trinkets were placed on her dresser, arranged neatly.

She turned her head as a glint of purple dashed past her window. She closed her newly fastened curtains and pulled her covers over herself.

She knew what she was doing. She didn’t need Casey to tell her what to do. She’d been at sea long enough to know not to get attached to the very thing that was paying her rent.

i’m back on my singer tim drake au bs(sue me he’s my current fixation and im always obsessed with music so take it or leave it).

okay so after the bruce quest he decides he can’t do the vigilante bs anymore, and bruce will be back so WE can be ran remotely until he’s got it again. he leaves gotham not long after the ra’s thing. he picks a new alias and decides he will finally use the vocal lessons his parents made him take when he was younger. and he starts a band, some how cassie, bart, and kon(since they are also back from the dead and cult shit now and if that’s not the timeline,,, it is now) find him while he is in the beginning stages and they are like fuck it let’s be a band. they blow up and fast, bc plot  convenience. so it’s only like a year after bruce quest, bruce has taken WE back and the batfam has just been busy. they are vigilantes shit never stops for them; they just got their dad back into fully working order, they are still acclimating dami, there is some shifting of suits and responsibilities happening. all this meaning the fact that tim never came back just,,,, got lost in the shuffle. so now that everything is slowing down they are like,,, wtf,, where is tim? they spend a while searching for him but the trail goes cold bc aliases and tim is damn good at hiding when he wants to. they eventually have to put it on the back burner. but then one day, maybe now it’s been about another year since they started looking for him, and dukes favorite band is coming to town. the wayne’s all decide to go, even jason is gonna go under the guise as a body guard for the fam. and color them shocked when they see kon settle behind a drum set, bart come bouncing on stage with a guitar and cassie grinning with a bass. they’ve all been missing for just a couple months less than tim. and then their breath is stolen as they see him. it’s fucking tim,,, walking right on stage as if he hasn’t been the center of a bat hunt for the past YEAR, smiling with a microphone in hand and asking the crowd if they are ready to get going. even more shocked with the first notes of a song starts playing and he makes direct eye contact with each and every one of them and calmly says, “this songs for you, you know who the hell you are.” and starts singing. I like to think the song is “love from the other side” by fall out boy. there are just so many parallels to parts of tim’s story(the fannon ver. anyways, im still working on the comics) and lines in the song(i’ll expand in the comments this is already long as hell)

and they are taken aback, why the hell is he so angry. and then dick specifically is reminded of how he treated tim right before he left. how at the time he thought tim was going to fine, and dami just needed him more. so tim just fell to the wayside. a running theme recently. and from the few times they had to deal with ra’s while looking for tim, it sounds like he went through some shit, and then he left. and they are at a loss. struggling with wrapping their heads around it all. and then the concert is over, and they are left scrambling, hoping to talk to tim before he’s gone in the wind again.

After Danny is crowned Ghost King, Amity Park becomes detached from the mortal realm and is suspended between the two realms, much like Danny is. In an effort to combat this isolation from the rest of the world, Danny opens up his castle to the residents of Amity. (Not his Lair, just the castle he earned via conquest.)

Now the castle is more like a community center, and it’s constantly filled with both humans and ghosts coming and going. The Amity Parkers are already liminal, so visiting the Zone is actually healthy for them! The school takes the kids on regular field trips, ghost vs. human competitions get very heated, and overall everyone bonds over their shared freakiness and comes to terms with the fact they’ll never venture out into their world ever again.

But just because they’re detached from their world, doesn’t mean the residents of Amity can’t visit other worlds. :)

And it just so happens that their new community castle is filled to the brim with magic doors and ancient treasures to help aid on their noble quest of inter-dimensional grocery shopping.

Finished it! Had the idea that Jax and Honey had this mutual agreement that they can kill each other to relieve some stress (well, stress relief for Honey, not entirely sure if it’s the same for Jax) usually Jax initiates and Honey kills him back later, this time Honey started it. They do this during performances sometimes when they’re paired up, but the audience seems to enjoy it’s so Caine just lets it happen.

So, Bad ending Parent route for Danny when his foks find out he’s phantom which triggers the usual OH ANCIENTS YOU HAVE TO DIP NOW DANNY but, instead of it being Danny revealing it to his parents or his parents finding out by accident it’s Vlad who’s revealed it, completely by accident mind you, so now it’s Danny and Vlad who are on the run and have to jump dimensions because the Fentons definitely went to the GIW after finding out that not only is their SON a ghost but so is their oldest friend?

The GIW proceed to reclaim all of Vlad’s business’s and property’s meaning they find out about the clones and sure Vlad might have stuff set up to blow should someone who isn’t a halfa or already in the know find out about it but there’s no way Vlad just ignored Dani after AGIT and what about Dan? Those were his fail safe body’s but he can’t just kill the GIW because he’s not just recovered so suddenly the Government and fentons find out that there are TWO MORE HALFA’s or ghosts puppeting human corpses as far as their concerned which means all four halfa’s are on the run!

So one thing leads to another and they decide as a group to just jump ship, they get to the ghost zone but as nothing can ever go right for them they get attacked and after months/weeks? Of constantly fighting the GIW and having their names and faces plastered on very screen in the world they’re all too weak to properly fight back and so they run again.

Danny finds a portal and decides that anywhere is better than here and dives in the others following, now their are in the DCU.

So where do they end up in? Gotham of course, and no this isn’t just because I want the Bats to go; who are these skrunkaly children and feral raccoon man?? But because objectively Gotham is one of the best places for them to be when none of them have ID’s or social security numbers or like….anything at all.

So they arrive but nothings going right, Dan and Dani’s clone body’s haven’t stabilised, Danny’s powers are on the fitzs and Vlad just flat out can’t go ghost after he took some really bad hits form the GIW and Fentons to keep the younger less durable Halfa’s safe.

Now here’s where the fun starts, Vlad isn’t willing to live in poverty but he doesn’t have enough powers to properly build back his empire, Danny refuses on principle to overshadow people and do the other morally incorrect things Vlad does for fun, Dan would do it he’s destabilising so there’s no way he can survive overshadowing someone with this body melting and him being stuck out of time line again and Dani’s just too weak at the moment to really understand what’s happening.

For the Dani bit it’s because the other Halfa’s are all complete, Dan is a full ghost so even if his body melts they just need to get a storage device to keep him till they can make another, Danny and Vlad are weaker but their body’s are fine as true Halfa’s can be so Dani is the first priority.

Now I see this going two ways, Vlad uses persuasion(using the power of suggesting, literally he just went: you want to give us this apartment, the guy: I want to give you this apartment) and then Dani and Danny stay at home so Danny can try and start stabilising her while Dan and Vlad get to work on their criminal empire.

Eventually this gets back to the bats and they decide that Vlad and Dan are the main perpetrators and are keeping Danny and Dani prisoner and forcing Danny to make them weapons and machines by threatening her sister, which would make it hilarious if after they’ve stabilised Dani she takes one look at the bats and goes: I am SO going to mess with them! and goes full super villain.

The second way (AKA; the funnier way) is if Danny has to help stabiles Dani and Dan so Vlad is the one left to go about things but he’s weaker so they don’t get an apartment and Danny is stuck feeding their cores his own ectoplasm in whatever abandoned building they’ve squatted in for the night while Vlad grumbles and runs around attempting to steal things and not doing a very good job at it.

The reason I think this is the funnier option is because in my head, Dani and Dan make themselves look smaller, kinda de-age but their both still them, so that Danny doesn’t have to expend as much energy meaning that the Bats chance upon this group of what looks like a father and his trans-son (because Jazz SO gave that idiot enough thearapy that he isn’t as easily misunderstood as he used to be) and like two very young children and the whole family kinda goes; ….we have to help them

This is also funnier(and this is the main point) because the way that help would definitely be trying to convince Vlad to get a job at WE after Danny let’s it slip that Vlad’s an engineer, which he is case and point the GIANT LAB UNDER HIS CASTLE, and Vlad will be suffering because he DOES NOT want to work for some billionaire but they also need stuff to stabilise Dani and Dan and Danny can’t keep doing it because he’s so weak after expending this much energy that Vlad genuinely thinks he could die, ghost self and all and has to reluctantly agree.

As someone who's gotten verrry good at the first two PMD games I wanted to give the input that Ingo's strategy is honestly not far off the mark- scanning for items can be very useful, especially if you happen to be a hoarder like I am and pack light for the dungeon ahead. Also yeah, starving tends to happen if you're conservative with your resources, not a big deal though usually.

Sometimes Ingo prepares so much for the dungeon ahead in anticipation of all the items they’ll need to take back with them, that it loops back around to being entirely unprepared for the long haul (<- I do this more often than I should).

Haha I make Ingo a fan of thorough exploration because I’m also a fan of doing it and I’m really the one who insists on scouring every single floor. I love looking for rare items, searching out battles with a specific pokemon to recruit them, farming treasure boxes, and razing monster houses!! So yes among that, I am also a fellow hoarder lol, and I do also pack very light for dungeons to save as much room as possible for whatever I pick up.

Hunger mechanic just really gets in the way sometimes which is why I’m looking hard for the tight belt item right now, it eliminates the hunger points going down entirely (except for a few exceptions I think?) I NEED THAT ITEM!!
