Ik some fanon goes for the idea of Blue being fairly attune to queerness because of living in 300 fox way but imo while her upbringing does mean she’s aware and accepting of things like romantic love not being limited by gender or to one person more than say a lot of her classmates, she’s not actually versed on like. Maybe it’s because I’ve seen an unreasonable amount of biphobia this pride month or because John giving Francesca the music sheet is literally the most romantic gesture on the show but I refuse the idea that Francesca and John is just a convenient marriage, that it’s just comphet.

That just because Michael is now Michaela, it somehow lessens her love for John. Her story is that she can have two great loves of her life. And I need them to stick with it.

Also it will actually make her story with Michaela even deeper and complex, because she is scared to question what it means for her love for John, refusing to trust her heart and longing for Michaela so she doesn’t betray her love for John. It will add extra layers! But she will realize that she has room for both, there is nothing wrong with that. And the quote

Hits so much harder this way.
