#I’m a dragon that hoards dragons

I collect anything dragon. Figurines, cups, toys, jewelry, plushies, you name it. If it’s got a dragon on it, I want it. I’m a little obsessed. And have been since a very young age.

Do you collect anything?

I'm really enjoying learning more about my fellow tumblr users, so let's keep this going.

I want to know what (if anything) you collect. I'll go first.

I have a bad habit of changing my collections often but recently I've been really into View-Masters, you know that plastic headset that showed you 3D images. I'm working on a site where I'm putting all my research (https://gruber.travel/) and buddy of mine made a special reel scanner that I'm getting next week. I'm really excited about it.

there has been an artificial shortage of all adhd medication for the past 4 years in the US. every investigation into this shortage has returned with the unequivocal result that simply nobody thinks we need it enough to solve the problem.

so they point fingers at the “faker” gaming the system to get adderall who “thinks” they have adhd or is “abusing stimulants to get ahead” for a problem that Our system MANUFACTURED.

so we would be at each others throats instead of realizing that our government and big pharma is to blame for all of this. because their First priority is to punish addicts and to punish folks with adhd and to punish anyone who relies on medication. over everything else. even over profit.

So do we agree that Rook absolutely gives Davrin hand kisses? You know, after all the fights and whittling, when they’re alone. Or when they casually approach him in between tasks. Maybe right before going off on a mission, regardless whether he is joining them this time or not. A quick and casual touch like it’s the easiest thing in the world. And it is.

Ohhhh I just saw your hoards ask answers! And I had a thought for Leo for what he could hoard:

Knives & swords. Kitchen knives, bread knives, paring knives, daggers, machetes, katanas, odachis, sabers, claymores, etc. His favorites would be those little claw knives that he had on in one of your comics where he figured out his own way to fly. I feel like he would enjoy the unique shine each blade he had, and perhaps the difference in weight each one had even if he couldn’t really fight with most of them.

I thought about this as well! The problem is, he never got into swords like in canon, cuz I mean. Dragon hands. Splinter tried to teach them to fight, yeah, but not with weapons. He didn’t have any weapons made for dragons XD

Their training was a lot of exploration for Splinter as well, but ultimately, their first official weapons (aside from maybe Donnie making his own) were the ones they stole from Draxum, like Leon’s claws. So he wouldn’t have really had a strong connection to swords and the such?

Maybe if they ever come across cloaking broaches for their special circumstances, (cuz let’s be honest, even in the Hidden City it’d get real hard to be giant dragon boys all the time) he’d have to learn to fight with a sword. But he’d also have to learn how to walk on two feet so who frikkin knows hahaha.

What is your opinion off dragons making their own hoards from scratch? This dragon has made six copper coins and is super happy with it. They are shiny too.

My collection of really niche, old Star Wars books continues to grow. I found these two at an antique store today.

And now I really want the one for The Empire Strikes Back to complete the set and because it’s my favorite of the original trilogy movies. These join my ancient novelizations of the original trilogy-

And the companion exhibition book put out for the Smithsonian exhibit “Star Wars: The Magic of Myth” in 1997 and The Star War Album (which is basically behind the scenes snippets).

Are any of these valuable? Gosh, no! I think all these books together might have set me back twenty bucks. I just think they’re neat.
