I know Ian has had a history of getting shit on unfairly in the fandom in recent years so I get why Ian stans are usually defensive. But some of them go a bit too hard in defending him and in result, absolve him of all toxicity he’s caused in his relationship with Mickey. Which is also annoying.

#I’m not talking about anyone specifically I’ve seen it multiple times as of late #but in particular…acting like Mickey is the only one to blame for the violence in their relationship?#I’m a Mickey stan and I’ve never once defended Mickey hitting Ian at the courthouse #in fact I was quite upset about it when it first aired and had to have people make me feel better lmao #but Ian has iniated 2/4 of the major acts of violence between them #to act like Mickey is the only violent one is just not true #they’re both to blame for that #mickey milkovich #shameless #*
