I didn't like the old designs. I thought it was beautiful at the time, but now it looks lazy and needs more things to match the character. So I guess I'm happy with these designs. Ink more chubby and Nightmare looks like more of a nerd

What's the plot of this au of your?

This version of dreamtale is where Nightmare did get beat up when he was nine , but when someone was sick in the village, he gave them the negative apple because, for some reason, the positive apples didn't work,and somehow the negative apple heal the sick villager. The villagers realized maybe he isn't a bad guy after all??? Of course some people think he is still bad, but now he doesn't get bullied so much like before. People well call him names or threaten him but don't touch him since he's the village favorite which his brother Dream too

Ink is still a protector and goes around helping aus. He found dreamtale while he was in the doodle sphere. He noticed something that wasn't supposed to be there, which was dreamtale. The page was glitching a lot. He decided to go and investigate it.

Ink in this more version is why less careful since he's a kid and he doesn't know much of the universe, but all he knows he needs protect them.

Considering you ship reed900, which is a ship that doesn’t have anything versus hank/connor’s relationship (regardless if it’s romantic or not) which is actually real, you really should not be throwing stones.

While I’ll do agree in respecting a creators vision, you do also understand that fandom has been changing/rectifying creators decisions, sometimes really dumb ones, for decades.

Fandom is supposed to be fun. If everyone had a stick up their ass about “this creator thinks this idea is shit so nobody can do it”, fandom would be a lot more depressing.

My wip concerns Virgile's lore, even more Sarto's family lore ! In my head, Virgile only had a brother, Enzo. But more i think about that, more i'm concerned about this family tree. Because Virgile's isn't in his clan anymore, becomes an Aldecaldo end of 2077, married Panam in 79 and they become parents around 80-81. And Enzo is with Jay, spending his time between city and desert, so he's not all the time with his family, and i don't think they will have a baby. So i thought to add ONE sibling. But as i don't know how to choose, i create a brother and a sister ... and kept them both. So here Luca and Chiara !

They're younger than Enzo, so 18-20. Chiara is the last because @imaginarycyberpunk2023 found the right words with a sentence "when only boys are born, a time of war is upon us" and so a girl announces peaceful times ♥ Fits well with my lore where Sarto can only have boys, and so Chiara is the only Sarto girl ♥

And i'm proud to do so many boys with one preset. I explain : when i created Enzo, i used Virgile's preset, changed eyes, eyebrows and lips. When i created their father, Natale, i mixed both so Natale has Virgile's lips but Enzo's eyes. And to create Luca, i use Enzo's preset and changed eyebrows (same as his father),lips and chin. Here the Sarto boys

Fun to see how they're similar but also differents ♥♥ Natale has brown eyes, so Luca too (with a light heterochromia), Virgile has blue eyes like his mother (who is not Diana, she's dead when he was 8) and Enzo has green eyes like his mom ! Enzo and Luca have light hair like their mom, where Virgile has black like dad <3

And for Chiara, i used Diana's preset. I'm lazy i just changed eyebrows x)

See ? You can see she's her daughter but with longer hair et different eyes, they're not twins either. And Chiara has dark hair like papa, and her eyes is a mix brown/green !

So now i need to find work inside the clan, give them a bit of story, even they're kinda youngs. You won't see them a lot because they're true nomads and Jodes nation don't like cities, but they will be clearly around, but i like they have a face now <33

I am going to kiss your brain that was a very intentional deliberate line congratulations on picking it up!!!!! Yes that was a very conscious seg-way into the gang tending to infantilize Kieran a little and he will absolutely manipulate it.

Sometimes - sometimes he does appreciate it. Sometimes he needs those borderline childish comforts people wouldn't think to offer an adult. If Lenny is struggling they will offer him a whiskey and a night out at the bar, which if Kieran was already not in a good headspace would be Hell. The fact the gang would sooner bring him his safe snacks and hot chocolate and a plush blanket while he watches cartoons is comforting even if it is coming from a place of not entirely seeing him as an adult. But it gets irritating. Being semi-verbal, even when he expresses said frustration it can get brushed off and it just adds to the irritation . The gang freaking out over room shuffling to make room for a new timewarped person: Kieran he would offer his room knowing it was temporary and is fine sleeping on the couch, hell he'd probably enjoy sleeping on a bedroll in the backyard for a few days/weeks: but they won't even consider asking Kieran for anything.

But most of the time he manipulates it. Hosea never lectures Kieran about a job because poor helpless boy could never survive the real world so he gets to live easy staying at Bessie's house or Annabelle's being absolutely spoiled. All he needs to do is flash his big old sad eyes and the gang will give him cash for whatever he wants. Sometimes it's the latest breyer horse model, sometimes it's alcohol and a few galaxy brownies. No questions, no bills, he's living the millennium dream.

Javier is the first one to see through his pouty playing into the infantilization and is honestly just jealous he can't get away with it himself. Calling Hosea out like 'stop telling me to get a job you never tell Kieran to get a job are you saying my patito is less capable because his brain works different despite being you more than willing not to say anything to protect him from being a whipping boy in the old days???' and Hosea has to walk away he is simultaneously stunned and ashamed. Still doesn't start nagging Kieran to get a job and Kieran playfully whacks Javier for even risking putting the idea in his head. He likes easy street and feels he's bloody earned it after his life experiences.

The number one thing that reminds the gang Kieran is not baby boy is any shooting game. He is first pick in paintball or laser tag or anything similar because the Kieran Duffy 'tendency not to mention how capable I actually am' started long before modern era and he is a terrifyingly good sharp shooter. First time the gang realised he was the last man standing and had taken out everyone in pvp they were almost annoyed why didn't you bring this up in canon era and he brushes it off with a teehee I like horses more. Bordering on being a brat about it sometimes and the gang still don't notice how much they tend to infantilize him. He will abuse the assumption he is incapable of things like it's lumbago, he isn't lazy he just doesn't like being expected to work and for the most part won't go out of the way to correct the infantilized assumption he can't do things by himself.

A morning person by design. He's been getting up early since his middle school morning run routine and he's never lost that habit of waking up early (just not as early anymore)

Kuroo's usually the first one up and the one to fix coffee and breakfast. This leaves you to stay curled up in bed all nice and toasty while he gets ready for work.

If you're an early bird too you can make a morning routine of doing this together and joining him for a shower. Maybe a little something more in the shower. A lazy morning wash to help each other start the day. He's cheeky about it too. Giving you "Cool" hair do's while he washes your hair

'I think it looks hot babe. No don't wash it out I wanna take a photo of my masterpiece first!'

When he shows you later it's a sick mohawk of shampoo mixed hair and you can't help but laugh at his stupid antics. You have to try to do it back too because it's the only time his hair is pliant enough to move out of that bedhead.

The two of you are snickering as you're snapping pics and he swishes his hair in your face. Someone gets soap in their eyes at some point but you're both laughing so hard and hugging, wet bodies pressed together in the shower holding each other tight so you don't fall.

It's worth the fun as you stand beneath the stream trying to rinse your eyes.

If you're not an early bird and you stay snuggled in the sheets then Kuroo will come try and wake you for breakfast before he leaves. Gently places a hand on your shoulder and whispers for you to wake up.

If you don't wake he's an absolute menace. He'll plant kisses over your face and rub into you like a cat. 'Wakey wakey!' More cat like snuggles into your face. 'Babe wakey wakey!' Just plops on top of you like the most annoying alarm clock in the world. Almost tempted to stay in bed with you even though he's dressed.

In terms of who is the blanket hogger. It can be pretty even but it's more likely to be you. Kuroo isn't much of a restless sleeper and doesn't really pull them. He's also essentially a blanket himself.

He sleeps on his stomach face smooshed in pillows and if you like a bit of contact he switches to smooshing his face into your neck with an arm slung over your waist. He's also just naturally warm so he's a personal heater and blanket in one.

If anyone hogs the blanket it's more likely to be you. Especially if you're a restless sleeper which is honestly perfect with someone like Kuroo because he can hold you down and stop you rolling around. Teases you about it.

'Babe, I'm your personal weighted blanket.' Has that smirk too.

Sleep ins with Kuroo are fun too. He's up first of course and gets bored so will roll over to cuddle you and annoy you with affection. Then that turns into morning talks about random things.

'Do you think chickens can fly really high in an alternate timeline?' 'You believe in alternate timelines?' 'Well, yeah but only if I'm with you in them.' 'Pfft you're a loser.' 'A romantic loser.' 'Wrong timeline.' 'Hey!'

Mornings with you have made Kuroo even more of a morning person. He's a morning lover.

Oikawa Tooru

The ultimate blanket hog. I'm talking you're going to have fights with this man over the blankets, tugging them back and forth and no he won't even feel bad about it, blanket hog. His solution?

'Well I guess you're going to just have to snuggle up real tight in my arms then, huh?' Smirk on his face.

You have two options. Agree. It's nice and snug in his arms and he will hold you nice and tight. That is until he eventually rolls around in his sleep. Kick him out of the bed.

He's not as blanket hoggy because he'll move to come back to you as the anchor. Wanting to always be touching you in some way even if it's just a hand or arm. Does like rolling back for the cuddle though.

The other option is to be like 'Not if I hold you in my arms first.' There's nothing Oikawa likes more than a challenge and he truly likes being held as much as he likes doing the holding. Even if he doesn't admit it. This also stops most of the rolling around AND the blanket hogging. Win win. Just whatever you're into.

Oikawa also runs cold. Cold hands, cold feet. You gotta warm those babies up or they hit you like icicles. This kind of makes him a clinger in the winter too but don't worry you just gotta help him warm up or invest in good heating lol.

In the morning he's not a morning person at all. Doesn't want to get out of bed and has to set a couple of alarms to even get up. The type to not function as a human being until he's gotten something into him and had a shower.

If it's only him getting up because you're not a morning person either, he's forcing down a quick but healthy meal and coffee, has a quick shower to wake him up. Then what takes the longest is getting ready to try and look human and awake. Spends most time on his hair tbh.

Mornings are easier on him if you're a morning person even though he despises (loves) you for it. If you're there to make him breakfast and coffee he'll greet you with a kiss on the cheek and then just plants his forehead on your shoulder craving more rest and your presence. God, does he really have to be awake?

Not good with a lot of talking in the morning but likes small acts of physical affection. Little touches, kisses and just press your face against his and he will melt. Mmm wants to just fall asleep standing up pressed against you in the kitchen while you wash the dishes but he has to go train.

If you're not a morning person either he'll see you off with a smooch and a 'Can't wait to be back here in the evening.' Here being the bed. With you and him in it. Doing more... active things. It's a promise and a hope. Something to see you both through the day.

He's not a morning person but he has to be for the life he's chosen. Oikawa's glad he just gets to share these mornings with you.

Ennoshita Chikara

A morning person sure but is definitely not an early riser. Once he's awake though he's the kind of person who is starting his day. Can't lie there for more than 10-15 minutes unless you're awake talking to him or having some fun but other than that he's getting his day started.

Likely the first one up. Lives for coffee so is definitely making the coffee because he likes it a particular blend, strength and even has the fancy beans and machine. Likes to try new kinds too and share them with you. It's almost a hobby for him. Knows exactly how you like yours and makes it for you without you even having to ask.

Not the best when it comes to making food but is pretty good when it comes to breakfast food. It's the best meal for him to be designated in charge of. I honestly feel like he likes things done a certain way when it comes to cleaning and stuff too so he's probably loading the dishwasher and cleaning up too. This man is anal like that.

Even if you're a team in the morning he's doing the cleaning up part. He just likes things done a certain way okay. You just don't stack the dishwasher the way he likes, HE HAS A SYSTEM!

Too sweet to be a blanket hog HOWEVER if you try to tear the blanket from him he will take it personally. The first couple times he's like aw you're cold let me get you another blanket but when you keep doing it? Personally offended and makes it his business to pull it back but not to hog, oh no no, he believes it must be even for you both.

Likes a good cuddle. Probably won't cuddle the whole night but likes to start off falling asleep that way. He's a side sleeper anyway so a natural spooner. If you're a back/stomach sleeper he'll just koala right onto you. If you're another side sleeper you two can slot right together a couple of spoons being cute.

I think he likes to alternate between big spoon and little spoon. Likes to have a nice hand running through his hair giving him some comfort which he will happily return. Especially on those rare mornings he doesn't have to get up for work right away. Absolute bliss.

Ennoshita's natural state is to fall into a caretaker roll but he also craves to have someone do the same for him every now and again. Those mornings he finally gets a sleep in and he wakes up to the smell of breakfast being made and coffee being brewed (you make it just how he showed you) he's so thankful to have someone who not only cares but pays attention.

Also the fact you didn't wake him up and turned the alarm off so he could wake up on his own? He loves you even more for that. A part of him just wants to pull you back into bed for some fun times and a cuddle. Who knows? He just might.

Ennoshita is thankful for mornings where the two of you can show how much you two care with the little things.

Ever since the end of last year, I've been keeping an eye on Marvel Rivals, like a lot of other people online, and for good reason, this game has generated a lot of buzz, and unlike some other games based on the Marvel IP (I.E. Square Enix's Avengers.) the discourse surrounding the game has been very positive, with people all seemingly coming together and agreeing that this game is awesome:

Some praise it's gameplay, both for feeling like Overwatch back in it's golden age, it's simple, somewhat unbalanced, but insanely fun.

Others have praised NetEase for delivering a better experience at launch than most other game studios tend to these days, 30+ Playable Characters is nothing to scoff at, and NetEase has mmade it very clear they intend to continue to expand that roster with constant support moving forward.

But, I wanted to make this post to both share some of my favorite characters in Rivals (as of the time of writing.) and what I think makes their designs truly special!

CLOAK & DAGGER

So, here's a little something you have to know about me, one of my favorite gimmicks in games is having a tag-team character, two characters that share one slot but fight together, examples of this include:

Noob & Saibot (Mortal Kombat)

Alex & Ash (Hotline Miami)

Ken & Koromaru (Persona 4 Arena Ultimax)

Needless to say, this decision not only makes them both very unique characters in the roster, whilst also remaining faithful to how close their connection is in the comics they first came from.

Like most other people, I had never heard of C&D before Rivals' release, and seeing them both in the roster was very surprising at first, but it was a welcomed surprise, as while I can't play these types of characters super well in actual gameplay (My brain struggles with playing just one character at times.) I still find their gameplay fascinating, their story surprisingly touching and wholesome, ontop of reflecting their constant theme of duality, both in very obvious ways like their character designs, and subtler ways like their gameplay.

Cloak & Dagger are a great example of adapting lesser-known characters and exposing the world to what makes them special and unique amongst their more famous, established big hitters like Spidey and Cap... But what happens when you need to adapt a well-known character and want to add a new twist to them?

MISTER FANTASTIC

The Fantastic Four are some of the oldest and most well-established heroes in Marvel, so, needless to say, it makes sense that all of them would eventually make the transition to the world of Rivals alongside their contemporaries like The Avengers and Spider-Man.

Reed, however, has a very (pardon the pun) flexible moveset, which encouraged creativity from NetEase to create something truly unique and special using Reed's stretchy powers as a basis, I think all of us knew what more or less to expect from Reed and how he would play...

What we weren't expecting, however, is that this Reed is a huge One Piece fan, apparently.

Yes, I'm not the first and I certainly won't be the last to point out that Reed's moveset in Rivals seems to have been heavily based on Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Mi abilities, specially Gear 4, as shown above.

Some took a bit of issue with this online and believed NetEase were being lazy or uncreative with how heavy handed their references were... But I, for one, applaud them for it!

Not only because One Piece is fucking awesome and I always appreciate other pieces of media referencing it, but also because it fits right at home with the colorful, over-the-top aesthetic Marvel Rivals has chosen to take with these characters, it is only natural, in my eyes, that when it came time to look for inspiration for Reed's movesets and animations, that they'd take a page from Monkey D. Luffy's book and bring a new take to Mister Fantastic's moveset here.

Mister Fantastic, and Invisible Woman for that matter, both showcase how you can revitalize two characters and create new, refreshing takes that can make people care about them again... Plus it helps they are both hot like holy shit-

❄️ Luna Snow ❄️

Luca is a unique case even amongst the weird and more obscure picks in the Rivals roster, like the aforementioned Cloak & Dagger, Magik and Jeff The Land Shark, mainly because there's a good chance even the most hardcore comic book nerds amongst the Rivals player base hadn't heard of Luna before this game... And there's a good reason for that.

The true origins of our K-Pop Star trace all the way back to another Marvel game developed by an eastern asian studio in 2018, this being Marvel Future Fight, developed by the South Korean company, Netmarble.

If Luna's canonical background as a K-Pop Star and being created by a South Korean Company weren't enough of a clue? Luna was created primarily for the asian market, and she seems to have been quite popular over there, as she'd also make the transition to another game not too long after her introduction, this being Marvel Super War, this time, developed by NetEase.

On top of all of that, not only would she be officially intoduced into the Marvel Comics Universe, she'd also make it to the base roster of Rivals, and become one of the most famous/infamous characters in the game, widely agreed upon to be one of the strongest strategists/healers in the whole game, and an overall amazing character.

If all the other characters in Rivals are lessons in adapting a character into a new medium and making changes to bring new life to these characters or exposing a whole new audience to lesser known but really cool and interesting characters in the Marvel universe, Luna is an example of creating a new character that can become popular and beloved just as much as the older, pre-established members of the roster.

Luna is a truly fascinating oddball in the Rivals roster, and I hope we see more of her and many of the other lesser talked about characters featured in this game now that it has blown up in popularity and become one of the biggest games of 2025.

Anyway...... Letting the fact that I'm gonna have to watch 112 episodes of an anime because I got attached to a single character... (do not remind me that I'm behind on One Piece I'm aware) lemme summarize the leobelle timeline:

- before Isa went to RSA (she was 15 while Leona was 17 at the time) her father and Leona's brother (or his father, I'm not sure who was king at the time) arranged their marriage for political reasons

- during Isa's first year in RSA their relationship wasn't that great but she tried to keep things civil, until she started learning throughout meetings and events of RSA and NRC that Leona was very intelligent and cunning — she admires these traits — but that made her dislike him even more because he didn't put these traits to good use; Leona was neutral/negative towards her this time

- during her second year she became a housewarden and Leona and her were forced to meet more bc now they were representatives of their dorms in each school; I'm assuming during these times Leona finds out about how people belittle Isa

- Isa falls in love with Neige during her second year, basically the situation in your story happens, what I wanna add tho is that through that he learns about her loyalty towards their engagement even if she makes it known she doesn't like it, and he appreciates that loyalty even if he won't say it; Isabelle starts to see Leona in a different light for trying to comfort her — in his weird Leona way

- I don't think any important stuff happens in between their second and third year, but they do start seeing things they admire/like about each other but are too stubborn to voice it; Isa specifically states that she still dislikes Leona and that he's a rude lazy man while Leona starts acting less mean towards her and seems to enjoy her reactions more; during this time their chess games start and this is where they start keeping track of who wins and loses

- during their third year Leona's overblot happens, and Isabelle snaps bc she gets worried; with this she gives him a scolding while forcefully visiting NRC; she spends some time witch Cheka to let him rest and have peace — Cheka loves her btw he calls her auntie already lol

After his overblot things are yet to get detailed, but I do know after it their kiss happen, and they stay a long time ignoring their feelings and what that kiss meant; I do like the idea that right before book 6 they start dating though

I'm updating how I do my monstiary pages! And more stuff about the monstiary.

Hi everyone, I have ended my break of doing monstiary pages as I have gotten my motivation back and hopefully won't loose it again : ]. With my break I came up with some ideas to make the pages better than they were before so I shall explain how they will work from now on.

Firstly I made a standard layout for the monstiary pages that all of them will follow from now on, Sooza was used as an example because it's one of my favorite monsters.

Btw I will be making my own drawings of the elemental sigils because I feel like giving myself too much work. Of course the pages will be colored I just did sketches for the examples because, for the third time, lazy. The first thing spoken about in the monstiary posts will be a general description of the monster, followed by random biology facts, then some ecology if I have some.

Secondly I made a character to be writing all these pages in universe! Mons. Booksby (Mons. is used as a suffix [or something idk what that type of thing is called but you know it's like Mr. or Mrs.] to proclaim an individual as important) a chipper fluffy Bowgart who had an interest in monster/critter biology and art. I don't have a first name for it so I will only refer to it as its last name. They were alive during the very early ages of the modern monster world and also technically the very late ages of the time period directly after the dawn of fire because they were turned into a statue by the events of the cataclysm. Long story, unfortunately it doesn't remember anything from before they were a statue other than that it was taking art classes.

I did a little comparison in that doodle page of a standard Bowgart and Booksby to 1: show the unique traits of Booksby and 2: to show how much individuals tend to variate from the standard individuals shown in my monstiary pages. Also that's it at the beginning of its monstiary project, it was very VERY old at the end of the project as shown in this self portrait with the finished monstiary (don't mind me I just wanted to try out a more painterly style real quick, also forgot the tuning pegs on the horns, oops!) Also btw all of my msm characters use it/its pronouns unless stated otherwise as it's the closest to the translation of the monstrous pronouns used for referring to a sentient being, but because they don't know English nor have an idea of genders or whatever they don't mind being referred to as other pronouns if you feel like it I guess.

Not a lot is actually known about Booksby as an individual as it wrote very little about itself, taking pride in its inpersonal writing style for its academic work. Also as a totally unrelated side not that did not cause me to make that previous decision about the character, I suck at writing character specific dialogue. Though they did add little notes to some drawings they made and that's the closest anyone has to any personal information about it.

Finally I will now be using the tag monstiary for anything relating to the monstiary to make it easier to access. idk how to end this lol bye come back tomorrow to see monster taxonomy and some explanation of that because that's what I'm doing next!

My friends!! I'm not tagging everyone but man have I met a LOT of awesome people on tumblr, AO3, and discord... The yuumori fandom in particular is so talkative and friendly, but I've found people in each and every fandom I've joined. When I came back to fandom as an adult circa 2015 I honestly didn't expect that I'd find lasting connections like this.

"My" characters. I literally almost felt like naming each as an individual thing, but that would end up being more than 5 things. I don't think there is a yuumori character that wouldn't be on this list, but especially Louis, Albert, William, Sherlock, Mycroft, James Bonde, and Milverton should be on that list. Plus, Seto Kaiba, Trafalgar Law, Katakuri, Sanji, Marco the Phoenix, Sabo... most of these people have been described as "sad, wet little men" and I won't disagree, I'm fairly certain that's my type.

Writing/reading! The right combination of words can really make my brain happy. Anything from vivid, realistic depictions to heavy metaphor to just unique wordplay is so fun. I love it so much. It's great when I can think of it, it's great when I get to be lazy and read someone else's version of it. It's just great.

Cooking and good food. I love to eat and I really love it when I manage to make something I liked eating.

Painting miniatures - Something else I've spent way too much money on recently, but it's honestly not that hard? I'm not very crafty but there are so many tips and tricks and like. I started with this cute little space hamster and now I'm doing the minis that came in my copy of the Monster Hunter World Board game and like. I'm still really proud of them even though I'm a novice. (I guess images aren't allowed when I'm answering an ask?? So I'll add pictures in a reblog probably 😂)

Bonus! Board Games! This has already come up but I have... SO many board games. I have a weekly board game week with my fiance, his brother and one of our mutual friends. We switch on and off between legacy games like Monster Hunter World, CCGs like Magic the Gathering, and more traditional board games like Wingspan (which I'm naming because it's my favorite).
