Ohhhh I'm going insane. I think at some point during the development of veilguard the shadow dragons were not going to lose their hq if you didn't save Minrathous cause there is recorded voice over mentioning Ashur’s current blighted status and even a line from Dorian that would have had Dorian mention that he helped fight off the dragon during its attack. @/corseque matched up speakers to script lines and organized it all by conversation (I adore them sooo much for their work it's so NICE to be able to tell whos saying what for most of the script) and there are multiple mentions in Tarquins On Click VO, Ashurs On Click and ambient VO, and Dorians On Click VO that would only fit if you could talk to them post Minrathous being devastated.

*Dorian flashing back to my inquisitor dragging him and Bull along to kill all the high dragons in the south* and just so many lines referencing Ashur being sick-

Its tough to verify all the voice over lines are recorded or not at the moment because ealayer3 is veryyy finicky right now on what VO files it will open or just decide to crash at but Dorians line and the first line from Tarquin on this post ive checked and they are recorded.

Sadly Ashur's On Click and ambiant VO files crash when I open them at the moment but with the other lines having been recorded its likely his are too even if they're not implemented in the game. It would have been SO COOL to see and visit blighted Ashur over the course of the game if you didn't save Minrathous. I would have loved to see that progression.

can anyone recommend some affordable games with really good character customization, so much so I can make my blorbos, but also good gameplay too?

stuff I liked in the past for reference, and reasons I stopped playing as well:

Miitopia: ngl I wanna do another playthrough with an Everhood cast, but my main problem with this game is it loses replay value IMMEDIATELY after you beat it. The gameplay is pretty shallow aside from the customization aspect, and the story you already know so it won’t hit differently when you restart of course. Now onto the good: The customization in the switch version is god tier, the story with everyone being miis you cast in each role (excluding our best boy Dominic <3) is amazing, I love playing a fanfic basically!! The personality quirks and relationship aspects are also really fun!!

Cult of the Lamb: more focus on gameplay than customization, but in every damn save I GOTTA make my Everhood blorbos!! For now the little animal followers do well, but I wish modding becomes easier in the future for custom follower forms </3

Flight Rising: I REALLY REALLY want to play this again, but I can’t because the only legal way for me to play it is to use my shitty account I made when I was 16 which used up all username changes and has a TON of shitty cringeworthy forum posts attached to it because it was the pandemic and my social media was extremely restricted with parental controls……. I don’t feel comfortable enough with the moderators and their extremely strict attitudes and rules to just make a new account and not touch my old one.

Sims 3: I wanna play this again so baddddd… I stopped playing sims 2 tonight after a few minutes because tbh? Modern game customization (mainly sims 3 and miis) have absolutely spoiled me to death and I can’t stand having to download a mod for every. Single. Customization I want. It’s so painful.

Rain World: I wish I could play this, I have tons of skin mods including an Everhood one, but it’s too damn hard for me to play (yeah okay Leaf sucks at video games and just needs to git gud and stop whining). The hardest games I play admittedly are Monster Hunter and Everhood’s battle replay, and I absolutely cannot STAND video game time limits. They stress me the fuck out every time and I can’t deal with them at all (shoutout to Mix quitting the call with me fighting the splatoon 3 final boss because I was screaming my guts out and I ended up having to hand the controller to them for me to beat Grizz), and on top of it I have to use a map in order to beat the game, pre-planning my routes every time and not making a single mistake lest the rain get me. I hate it. I hate that I can’t be good at games for fucks sake ughhhhhhhhhhhHHH

Lobotomy Corporation: I like the customization and modding is rather easy but. Come on. It’s lobcorp no fan has beaten the game its even a fandom in joke LOL (though I’ve definitely gotten farther in it that Rain World. CURSE YOU, TIME LIMITS!!! The thing also keeping me from beating Wandersong….)

(peach fan whos about to talk about the 2023 mario movie voice) i wish the mario movie hadnt changed her personality so much they turned her into a generic badass girl. i liked the story of the movie i liked peach being more assertive it was a fine movie but THEY FUCKED UP HER PERSONALITY SO BADDDDD!!!!!!!! completely removed any feminimity from her personality and made her a typical action movie babe. ik its a kids movie and they probably wanted her to be badass in a way thats like. noticeable. in your face. to inspire the kiddos. but idk there are a lot of times in the past where shes self sufficient or strong or tough but in a dainty way that fits with her girly princess personality. and in the movie it felt like they do not see femininity as having the capacity to be any of those things so they wiped the girlishness from her personality. and now shes a basic action movie heroine with a painfully obvious romance with the male action movie hero (another context of mario x peach that i do not like). anyway. i like playing as peach in any possible game that will allow me to do so bc shes very pretty ^_^

usually after, sometimes during but almost never before. i hate titles, they're my number 1 enemy and i struggle so baddddd with them. besides i'm picky so i need them to fit perfectly before i settle on one (hence why the overprotective james series still doesn't have a name)

and honestly i have no idea, i don't really have a method. i do turn to lyrics often, especially when there's a song that inspired the story in the first place!! like it happened with all the violence, for example

Morning: Are you friendly in the morning, or are you barely awake? I’m friendly at work from the start to the end of my shift because it’s the nice thing to do, and because I have to be. Music: How important is music in your life? It’s slowly becoming significant again. I got a Spotify subscription for myself after years of sharing with Gab’s account lol, so I’ve been revisiting the music that I had to set aside for months while I had to grieve on my own. It was brutal the first few days and I cried a lot when I heard my go-to sad songs again, but I soon realized I need releases like that and so I’ve been a little more unafraid to listen to music each day.

Oasis: What is a band you remember liking from your childhood? Paramore? HAHAHAHA they were the first band I ever loved, man. And I’m happy I get to say I still very much love them.

Opinions: Do you ever get mad at people for not having the same opinion as you (i.e. Abortion being wrong|right, Meat-eating being wrong|right)? If it’s the kind of opinion that will step on fundamental human rights, like being vehemently against same-sex marriage, then we will have a problem. Otherwise, I don’t care if someone prefers Android or having pineapples on their pizza unless they’re being an asshole about it.

Orchids: What is your favorite type of flower? Does it grow where you live? Peonies. Idk, I guess so? I don’t speak flowers.

Outerspace: Do you think there's a possibility of life out there? There sure is; the universe is so vast. I wish we’re able to learn more in this lifetime, though; I wouldn’t want to miss out on future discoveries.

Photo-Editing: Do you edit any of your pictures? In what ways? Sometimes I’ll add a cute or flattering filter; that’s the furthest my editing skills go. I don’t use advanced applications like Photoshop and I don’t know how to remove moles or stray hairs or whatever.

Photography: If you like to take pictures, what is your motivation? I’m not into photography per se, like it’s not a hobby of mine or anything; but I do like taking photos of special or funny events. It’s nice to have a memento for a little bit of everything going on in my life.

Poland: Would you ever consider living anywhere cold? Yes. Maybe not Norway or Finland levels of cold, but somewhere considerably cooler than the humid hot mess I currently live in. When I went to Jeju four Aprils ago, they had the p e r f e c t temperature I could ever ask for and it was sooooo perfectly and comfortably cold in that I got to walk around in shorts but I never shivered or got goosebumps.

Potatoes: What is your absolute favorite food? It used to be burgers, but my mom has been making so many cheeseburgers the last few weeks that I need to take a break from them lol. Right now, my favorite would be sushi.

By far, people have been weirded out the most by the fact that I don’t eat fruits and will avoid them like the plague. But Covid blew up and we ended up having to cancel the entire semester altogether, so my classmates and I never got to pursue more of that class other than our first few meetings, which were used for lectures.
